Anybody following whats happening at Norwich? I hear Daniel Farke  has been sacked as manager even though he his ex team beat Brentford in yesterdays match....but was the performance of yesterday the reason for parting ways.

Transfer rumours:

Newcastle United have made Barcelona and Germany goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, 29, a transfer priority. The real question is whether ter Stegen wants to come to Newscastle?
Everybody has a price and looking at his age, he probably has another 10 years in him to play professional football and at the moment securing a good retirement package is on his check list which the new Newcastle United can provide.

France midfielder Paul Pogba let Manchester United know he would be open to signing a new deal with the club in 2019, but the Old Trafford side decided against offering him a new contract. The 28-year-old's current deal runs out next summer. Was this a good decision of the club or a catastrophic mistake? Will Pogba eventually go for free?

if things continue going south at old Trafford, i don't see Paul Pogba remaining with the club but then again i see the lad loves the spot light which makes me think its either another big club or he pushes to remain with the club.

New Tottenham boss Antonio Conte wants to sign his former player, Inter Milan and Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. The 28-year-old is out of contract in the summer.  So far, a lot
of Croatian players like Modric have played for Tottenham. Will Brozovic be the next Croat in this club?
Incoming Barca boss Xavi wants to make Bayern Munich and France winger Kingsley Coman, 25, his first signing. Is this realistic given Barcelona’s financial problems?
Serbia forward Luka Jovic, 23, is pushing for a move away from Real Madrid in January. Another failed Real investment.

Pogba to leave Manchester United is a really good idea currently for him because he aint getting much playing time,if Pogba wants really to leave Manchester should try and sell him in this winter transfer window so they can get at least some money for him.
Jovic hasnt played much at all in Real Madrid and didnt score much goals aswell so Real Madrid will try and cut their losses and try to earn some money back from selling him
Looking new club and I hope Pogba have agreement with Real Madrid in next season, I know many midfielder of Real Madrid have over age like Modric and Kroos. I think if Pere success get agreement with Pogba have many option for Madrid midfielder because after get Camavinga as young midfielder player now have Pogba can play as attacking midfielder or defensive midfielder, but I like Pogba can get his position like on Juventus before where success become attacking midfielder.

Ter stegen has no agenda to join a lower club class like newcastle .. he will of course deny the approach unless if there is something interesting to catch there.
for instance like pogba case .. where his agent did the contract expired so the transfer budget could be allocated  to rise pogba salary plus his agent fee.
raiola are indeed a sucker lol.

yuppp ... i think barcelona need to take a little more risk to make some changes through transfer which i couldnt agree more why he targetted coman , he will use dembele and coman his deadly weapon though.

Genoa recently changed propriety and the new one seems to have a decent amount of money to invest.

https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1457069683732066304

Genoa's performance has been poor this season, even in 12 matches in Serie A Genoa was only able to win once, and Genoa's management
had lost patience when Genoa drew against Empoli. Finally coach Davide Ballardini was officially sacked and I was quite surprised his replacement
was Andriy Shevchenko. Because I think Genoa is too brave to choose Shevchenko as coach, even Shevchenko has never coached any club.
His coaching career has only been coach of the Ukrainian national team since 2016, it's not too convincing to become the main coach. Maybe Genoa
thinks Shevchenko, who is successful with AC Milan, can understand how to handle a Serie A team. We'll see if Genoa can improve their game after
making Shevchenko as coach.

I agree Conte's good track record when he coached several big clubs is a guarantee that Conte is the right coach for Tottenham.
Actually, it is not a guarantee that Conte will be fit with Tottenham players. However, with a good track record, we can expect that Conte will have a big chance to improve the players' performance with his capacity.

I want to see Tottenham's performance for the next 5 games, we can judge Conte's quality as a coach.
I don't think the result of the next 5 games is enough to determine the Conte quality as a coach. It is too early, he may lose in some matches because he still needs time for adaptation. At least, we must wait for till half of the season is over. Then, we can see how good the progress of players' improvement during managed by Conte.

Players to be sold include Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn, Lucas Moura and Giovani Lo Celso.
Alli is a good midfielder, I think he doesn't need to be put on the transfer list. This player has an important role and seems can play better if he is managed by a good coach.

Conte plans to bring in 6 players from Serie A. Such as Chiesa, De Light, De Vrij, Brozovic, Romagmoli and Vlahovic.
Good choices, but I am not sure it will be easy to sign them. Especially De Light, De Vrij, and Romagnoli, these players can be targeted by other top clubs. Tottenham must make an interesting offer for them if really want to have them on the squad. Probably will compete with some top clubs to sign them.

I doubt that Xavi will be like Pirlo or any other bad manager. This dude managed to use this Qatar team roster that he inherited and turn that into 30+ game winning streak team. To stop right now while it is at peak must be a bad feeling, after all they were doing so great but it is obvious that he definitely doesn't deserve to be in Qatar, he deserved to be in a much bigger club. Now that he is back to Barcelona, I really wonder how his future will be like. I really hope he gets iniesta as his assistant manager Cheesy.

I know that sounds weird since iniesta is not interested in coaching as far as I know and still happy to play in Japan last I checked but that duo was a great one that we all loved back in the day and if Xavi could stay for a few more years in Barcelona as manager, then getting Iniesta as AM would be something delightful to see for fans.

Ok like a was saying it is never easy with Arabian people.

Barcelona in the end will pay 5m € to get his new coach.

Good luck to Xavi but it will be not easy for him, he can be a Pirlo2.

Everyone seems to agree with Xavi arrival in Barcelona. That's enough to convince the Barcelona players are looking forward to the figure of Xavi. We will see how under Xavi tutelage whether Barcelona can return to show the qualities that they have lost or not. Personally Xavi is the right choice for Barcelona.
I believe Xavi Harnandez will succeed as Barcelona new manager I see him as a newbreed manager just like Guordiola and will definitely have a successful spell and career in Nou camp if given enough time, I hope he reinvent the style of play of Barcelona during his era as a player "Tiki-Taka" style of possessive short passes, I remembered with nostalgia the trio of Xavi, Iniesta and Ronaldinho dismantling opponents defence with that style of play, Xavi has what it takes to lead Barca after a successful transition as a player to coach in Al-Sadd wishing him a best of luck.

For the barcelona match that has just taken place, they can only draw. Somehow I think the first half gave a good signal that they might win the game. The situation turned around and Aspas started his goal by taking advantage of the ball's bounce and was met with a fairly hard kick.

As an arsenal fan, I hope these two players can join Arsenal in January Grin.

Alexander Isak and Dusan are very good targets for Arsenal, these two players have the ability to become Arsenal core players. To be able to compete with Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, Arsenal must bring in someone like Thierry Henry. Until now, Arsenal has not had a champion mental player like Henry who is able to make Arsenal a dark horse in the English League.

According to some news sources, Real Madrid are planning to sign Antonio Rüdiger for free next summer as his contract is going to be expiring at the end of next June. And it is said that they will offer £200,000-a-week to him which is a really big amount of salary. His weekly salary at Chelsea is only £100,000 now. I guess that Rüdiger would lean towards a big deal like this. He is performing really awesome at Chelsea now and it looks like Tuchel will have a hard time keeping him here.

Al-Sadda head coach Xavi will say goodbye to his charges in a few hours and go to Catalonia, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports on his Twitter account.

According to the source, Barcelona will officially announce the deal with the 41-year-old mentor in the coming hours.

Al-Sadd also confirmed this information. The club said that Xavi will become the head coach of Barcelona as soon as the club pays compensation for him.

Earlier it was reported that the Qataris will ask for their coach 5 million euros.

Xavi's riddle is now clear and he is now part of Barcelona again.
On the other hand, I hope that with the arrival of Xavi, this will be a new chapter for Barcelona to navigate La Liga and change their performance to a better direction.
on the other hand Xavi used to be the maestro of tiki taka and became an extraordinary midfielder, I hope he brings back tiki taka to barcelona because indeed tiki taka has disappeared in the current barcelona game.
I hope this is a good thing for Barcelona

Man City star slips down Barcelona transfer wishlist amid double concern

Raheem Sterling is one of the players Barcelona are lining up to cover for his former Manchester City teammate Sergio Aguero, according to a report that has also revealed a catch to his hopes of making such a move.

Sterling is approaching a major decision regarding his Manchester City future. He has been with the club since 2015, going on to score more than 100 goals. But it remains to be seen how many more he will add, because his contract expires in 2023.

City would not want to lose him for free, so the big decision will likely come next summer – or potentially in January if another club comes forward.

I guess City knowing very well that Sterling wants to leave i guess any club that comes forward with an offer will be getting the player cheaper than he was suppose to be to avoid letting him go as a free agent.

I have heard that Arsenal are interested in signing Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak. He scored 5 goals in 12 games so far. And in an interview, Alexander Isak indicated that he is really happy at the club now. But he said that it would be nice to play in England. He is only 22 years old now and he is a very talented striker. If I was him, I would think of going to Arsenal. Because he can show his talent in the Premier League by this way and he can be transferred to a bigger club after that.

DiMarzio reports that Arsenal are very much interested in Fiorentina young star Dusan Vlahovic and Fiorentina are asking for 80m Euro around for the striker. Guess Gunners are really looking for a striker and looking into young candidates shows that they are looking in one with the future and hold him for long.

Arsenal are currently actively looking for players who play as strikers to replace Lacazette and also Aubameyang who is rumored to be leaving soon, apart from Alexander Isak, Arsenal are currently competing for Dusan from Fiorentina and it is even reported that the two clubs have reached an agreement at a price of 80 million euros, but the problem is that Arsenal will still not get approval from the player (Dusan), whether  he are willing to move to Arsenal in January or not, because apart from Arsenal,  club like Juventus, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City also want Dusan at this time.

As an arsenal fan, I hope these two players can join Arsenal in January Grin.

I believe that Coutinho is not a bad transfer, not because he himself is good enough, but it is important to keep improving the overall talent in the team. Today you get Coutinho, tomorrow you get another player that level, the other day you get another one, then you get a bit better, then you get another better, then you get a star level one, then you get another star, then you get a superstar at levels of haaland, mbappe, messi, ronaldo level player and then you have yourself a team that will fight for a title. But all of this starts with one player at coutinho level player.

Moreover, you have to get some players who are a little better and little better and gradually become a better team. It is going to take some time before they are great, nobody should expect them to fight for a title next season, it should take at least 3-4 seasons for them to be there.
Coutinho deal was bad for both the FC Barca & Coutinho himself. The only persons smiling are Liverpool. Apparently, Coutinho couldn't bring to the table what Neymar was bring then. The club has decided what they think is good for them. I personally do not like the Coutinho deal but I wish him success in his new endeavor.

Actually Tottenham Hotspur will be most style playing game under Antonio Conte and most attractive when counter attack, 2-5-2 become new style for Tottenham Hotspur formation and lets see on this week when away faced with Everton how much Conte can talk with first match debut on primer league with Tottenham Hotspur. I think Everton is bigger club and looks little difficult for Conte can get three points or not in that match.
