Haaland, Mbappe and Alaba are rumored to join fc barcelona if Toni Freixa is elected as new president Shocked

In what world exactly? Not in this earth, they have 1 Billion € debts and for sure some of them will expire before this summer.
...

..

It is really ridiculous.  Cheesy  David Alaba is in his last 6 months at Bayern and they can sign him without spending too much money, okay. But Haaland and Mbappe? Really? Haaland's market value is €110.00m and Mbappe's is €180.00m. They will have to be willing to pay insane amount of money to be able to sign them and it is only for their transfer fees. There will be many expenditures like salary, signing-on bonus and other bonuses. I'm very sure that they won't be in a perfect financial condition to make all these happen.

i also realize that this is and would be almost impossible Grin
i just didn't want to keep the news from you guys - its a speculations thread Wink

Exactly it is just no more than a pledge. But I wonder whether they would achieve it if it weren't for covid-19.  Grin  It has really affected many big clubs deeply. Even if Barcelona had funds to do it, they couldn't bring Mbappe and Haaland both I think. Probably Real Madrid would sign Haaland. And Mbappe might have stayed at his club.  Grin

Toni Freixa, candidate for president of fc barcelona, has announced that he will bring three world-class stars to the Camp Nou if elected.

That is as impossible as it gets. First of all there is a financial fair play situation in the new football which I think is awesome, no team should be too much in debt, secondly we are talking about a situation where both of them would cost maybe 300+ million together, where could Barcelona find that kind of money? It would be near impossible to make that happen.

I believe there is no need for this much drastic change dreams neither, we know it won't happen and that is not what Barcelona needs, they just need players who are good and young and not going to end up playing horrible, and they need players that can fit into Barcelona mold as well, even Haaland no matter how great he is, could be utilized better somewhere else, Barcelona needs a player that is more like suarez, a bit more technically instead of just power and speed, I don't know who they can get, but Sancho looks like a great deal for them if you ask me, even someone like that would be great improvement without need to get mbappe.

I've seen multiple sources have reported that PSG is showing interest in signing Bellerin again [sources: #1, #2, and #3]...
- I hope he goes to PSG so Arteta could finally use Cedric in that position regularly [over his current underperforming favorite player - Bellerin].

That's interesting.. Bellerin used to be so pacy and good in defending but not now. He still has the pace but yeah he is underperforming. Right now he has received the highest no of yellow cards in PL this season with 8 yellow cards. Cedric Soares on other hand has proved to be a good signing ever since he joined Arsenal. I agree currently he is more suitable option if compared to Bellerin. Might be good if sell Bellerin and free up space for Cedric.

Haha, I really doubt that! Barcelona is heavily in debt and I can hardly imagine that such an amount of money is available for player transfers. I am pretty sure that we won't see Mbappe or Haaland at Barcelona next season. Maybe if they finally sell Messi to PSG or Manchester City one of the previously mentioned transfers could be realistic.

Emili Rousaud already said, if he becomes president of Barcelona, he will sign Haaland and Mbappé.

So, Barcelona has almost € 1bi in debt, right? I don't remember the exact amount, but it's a number that can be rounded without making a difference to Barcelona's situation.
I've been seeing that Barcelona have at least 9 players bought from which they need to settle in the short term:
€ 29mi - Liverpool (Philippe Coutinho)
€ 16mi - Ajax (De Jong)
€ 9.8mi - Bordeaux (Malcom)
€ 9.6mi - Braga (Trincão)
€ 9mi - Betis (Junior Firpo)
€ 8mi  - Grêmio (Arthur)
€ 6mi - Atlético-MG (Emerson)
€ 4.8mi  - Juventus (Pjanic)
€ 4.6mi - Palmeiras (Matheus Fernandes)

Former President Josep Maria Bartomeu left Barcelona in a very complicated situation.

FC Everton, Manchester United and FC Bayern München are still interested in signing Max Aarons, who is currently playing for Norwich City.

Everton are interested in Max Aarons as Carlo Ancelotti is looking for a new right-back. Bayern have already opened talks with Norwich to sign the player. Manchester United have also scouted him [@FabrizioRomano]

And no they can't just spend money like nothing they have the Financial Fair Play to honor, they can't just add 1 billion to the cashier like nothing.

Like Inter,

Inter needs to pay 375€ before December 2022.
40m € to Real before March
and 200m € before June.

Can anybody compile a nice list for the top transfer targets for the top 5 leagues in Europe and where they’re rumored they might be going?  I’ll update and post it  at the OP.  I’ll be giving away some merits as a token of appreciation.  Thanks!

Hard to make a list right now but...

Pogba // Juve - Real
Messi // PSG - City
Aouar // Juve
Mbappe // Real
Haaland // Real

No way Real sign both of them, it would be so expensive. What would be interesting is how much money gets spent this summer due to the pandemic. Most clubs won’t be able to spend what that normally would.

It looks like Manchester Utd are preparing for a bid for Milan's young main goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (21). It seems they are ready to sell De Gea this summer and they are thinking Donnarumma to take his place. Considering he is a very good goalkeeper, it can be a good move for Manchester Utd.

De Gea seems to be past his peak, he makes more mistakes than he used to. Maybe a move back to Spain would suit him. The young Italian GK you mention is very highly rated. Italy has a good tradition of top GM’s, I think this would be good for Man Utd.

I would be happy if this happened. Yesterday's transfer market Real Madrid was not actively recruiting players. This makes it difficult for them to compete, as many have been injured and on loan. But under these conditions, can Madrid spend a lot of money? I think a lot of clubs are struggling with money at the moment, including Madrid. In total, Madrid have to spend € 355.00m for the three of them, this does not include the cost of other deals.

Ajax striker Brain Brobbey didn't extend his contract recently but after the last matches Ajax will keep trying to keep him.

Now he is even linked to Manchester United. I don't know if that's the right club for him. https://www.unitedinfocus.com/transfer-talk/who-is-brian-brobbey-and-why-is-he-linked-to-manchester-united/

I don't know if it would be a nice transfer for Manchester Utd for now at least. Because rather than him, I think that Manchester Utd can make a young and great striker for their starting lineup. If I'm not wrong, they are one of the clubs after Haaland too. If they somehow manage to bring him, it could be incredible for them. Btw, I know that they are the most scorer team in the league right now. Bruno Fernandes is their most scorer with 15 goals which is awesome. But if Haaland plays as a centre-forward, they could even be more productive than this.

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is close to becoming the new manager of Bournemouth after the Championship side requested permission to open talks from his current club Montreal Impact. The football legend is back?

Gianluigi Donnarumma did play very well with AC Milan, and make AC Milan one of the strongest candidates to become champions of Serie A besides
Inter Milan. And also his age is very young, so it is very natural that a team the size of Manchester United wants Donnarumma. Moreover,
Donnarumma's contract will soon expire this year.  And it looks like negotiations for a new contract between Donnarumma and AC Milan have yet to
reach an agreement. Because Donnarumma asked AC Milan for a tough job apart from asking for a salary increase, AC Milan had to qualify for playing
in the Champions League. So it is very likely that Donnarumma will move to Manchester United. and if realized, make Donnarumma the goalkeeper
with the most expensive salary in the world.

He is an attractive asset for sure but Manchester United just has a different style now. Several teams sure will be gunning for him.

On the rough side, David De Gea has made some critical mistakes in the past 2 seasons. He's somewhat exposed on corner/crosses.

Haaland is major hot property this summer, he has a release clause for £65,000,000 which is only active in summer 2022. For this reason I think Dortmund could try & sell him for more this summer.

Wow, I didn't know that you can set a release fee valid for next transfer season. If that's the case I'm sure big clubs will fight for him to get before that season. I always thought Dortmund can't hold him for one more season, now that makes more sense. It's very possible he will be gone at the end of this season. The price would be way more than £65m and it should be. He's one of the best one you can get as a major club.

It looks like we might see Soumaïla Coulibaly in the German Bundesliga next season. The 17 year-old centre back seems to be in talks with Borussia Dortmund, while FC Bayern München is also interested in signing him.

PSG centre-back Soumaïla Coulibaly (17) is in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund. The player is out of contract this summer and Paris will make another offer to keep him. Bayern and Marseille are also interested [@Tanziloic]
