Seriously, did you watch the match though? If we are using your logic then its all the more reason on why Tottenham should sell Kane because they won even without Kane on the field. Levy can force Kane to stay but if he is not happy with this then it might affect his performance. That also means his price tag could be lower next season if his performance is not as good as last season

Tottenham should have just let him go if Manchester City is willing to pay that much for him

It's probably not a "professional problem." It's a club's problem and nothing else. Kane openly ignores training(Although it is possible that he is in talks with other clubs at this time) and misses matches. And it's unlikely that coach didn't release him on the field, it's Kane initiative. The club is just killing virtually his football career without letting him go somewhere else. If you ask me, It all falls back to the transfer issue cause I believe the reason why Kane returned back to the team late is cause of all this transfer talks surrounding him, tbh, I think Kane has already made up his mind and Spurs know this, though they are trying to keep him, but for now a final decision is yet to be made, thus they have to keep him out of the team, they wouldn't just say it that way, so it looks like it's down to 'professional' reasons that he missed today's game.

Having said that, I believe after today's loss to Spurs, City would make Kane's signing a priority, they seem to just be lacking the presence of a striker, Ferran Torres is anything but a marksman, and City really needs to get someone like Harry Kane whose job has always been to put balls at the back of the net.

Kane is not playing against Manchester City today so this could be an indication either that Harry Kane is not willing to play because he wants to force the move or Tottenham wants to avoid him being injured in this match because the transfer is going to happen soon. I personally think its the latter because choosing not to play on his own violation would put him in a tough spot as well

The last I heard is that Tottenham board feels it's too late to find a good replacement now and that City is too late even if they put that big offer that Tottenham wanted on the table. Still, Levy's one of the best negotiators around so it wouldn't surprise me if he's just pushing for the deal to happen sooner with these kind of statements.

Anyway, the reason why Kane wasn't in the team isn't transfer related. He joined the club late so he still has some basic training to catch up to before actually playing.

I'd say it's 50-50 that he won't be playing for Spurs again.

I'm thinking that the Harry Kane to Manchester City is a done deal, and they are only delaying it because of their match that's ongoing right now. I think in the next few days we'll see either an announcement or confirmation that a bid has been accepted. I would assume that Harry Kane has already agreed terms with Manchester City.

Honestly there will never be "equally" between teams as long as there is no cap, teams who spend a lot, usually end up being more successful which means they get paid more, and more viewership, more cups, more fans, more merchandise etc etc. When they get all that money then they spend it on even better players and keep this growing. Meanwhile their owners keep injecting cash as much as they can, and cover the losses as much as they can as well.

Financial fair play is good to a point but a team at 10th of premier league could rarely ever have a chance to win in a decade of hard work because it is just not profitable for them to risk it, meanwhile City makes so much money that they can throw 200 million on Kane if they want to and nothing will happen to them, 200 million is more than 99.999999% of clubs worth in the world, only very minority amount of teams have a total worth over that.

Now that Odegaard's agent is reported to have been in London, to have talks with Arsenal about a possible transfer of Odegaard, and madrid seems to have allowed Odegaard to look for another club this season, I think arsenal is a suitable club for Odegaard to continue his career, moreover he has experienced the atmosphere Premier League last season, although Arsenal is currently going through a bad phase, but it seems that apart from Arsenal there is no other club that wants to try to recruit Odegaard this season, so like it or not, Arsenal is the only option for the current Odegaard

Well he already said he didn't wanted to extend his contract. He would have gone for free if things stayed like that so I also think Real Madrid good to sell him and get fee out of him. Not sure why he wasn't extending his contract- maybe he wanted a change or lost confidence in team after Ramos and Zidane left? who knows.

Sad for Real. I wonder why Varane decided to go to the Premier League, did they really offer him much more favorable conditions there? As far as I know, in Real Madrid he was considered as a key player for many years to come and now they had to sell him (though this is a bargain sale since there was only one year of the contract) because of the player's desire.

Tottenham may have no plans to release Harry Kane at the moment. Now if they release Kane they will not find a replacement player. All the star players have already chosen their favorite team. Now if they sell Kane they will get in terrible trouble. Manchester City have spent a lot of money on Grealish, Guardiola may not be interested in spending more money this season.

Odegaard is a potential player, He is still young and many have a chance to develop his skill, but Ancelotti saying for his position filled 8 players and possibly nothing him to sit for confidence. Arsenal is good for him, but I know he has to chance to find a better club, he only creates 2 goals and assists with 20 competitions, which is not good for him. If  Odegaard has the option, he must move away to a better club.
