PSG have unlimited money and I am not sure if financial fair play exists in the french leagues? I know it exists in other leagues which stops rich clubs from dominating the transfer market but I know there is ways around that to because Manchester City did get away with investing millions above the limit.

Financial fair play is not league restricted, all clubs in Europe are regulated, Of course there a some loopholes in the rules and that's why PSG were able to sanction deals for both Mbappe and Neymar in the same season.

Man City are even in a better situation compared to PSG, because playing in(winning) the premier league definitely generates more revenue than in the french league.

Is it true that Chelsea really want this player in the summer transfer market? They really have to spend a lot of money to get this player and even then it depend on how they seduce Dortmund to sell him. Looking at the statistics of this player, it seems that Barcelona are also interested in getting him to replace the aging Messi. LOL

Yeah, Chelsea really want to sign Haaland. He is the number one target of the team now actually. But they will have to spend a lot of money to be able to buy him. Dortmund wouldn't be willing to sell him below his market value that's for sure.

Marca says that Kylian Mbappe has rejected PSG's last contract offer. He really wants to go to Real Madrid now. And Real Madrid also want to finish this deal without having a problem. On the other hand, PSG don't want to lose him. He has only one year left on his contract. I wonder how this will end.

I hope that from now on PSG will start looking for a player to replace Mbappe, when a player wants to leave a certain team and can't, he starts not having good performance and focus, the right thing would be to let him go to real madrid, and honestly, as a real madrid fan, I would be very happy with Mbappe playing in real madrid because it would bring more contributions to the team and we could win the la liga and champions league if we have zidane as coach, with this new coach I still don't think this season can expect a lot of good stuff from real madrid

Everyone wants a change and try some other league to develop especially young players. Mbappe has lot of years to play and he is already enjoying his status as a pacy striker. Lot of clubs are interested in him and the current club are interested in keeping him tied with them but you can't change things when player wants to try something different. Better sell him off rather than to try against his wishes and eventually send him on free transfer and lose the fee.

I think its time to think about it unless they don't mind to lose him on free transfer and keep on trying.

According to today's news, it's said that Chelsea are ready to offer £130m for Erling Haaland. Abramovich wants him to be signed really much. If Chelsea become successful on this transfer, it's going to be a club-record deal at the same time. Eyes have turned to Dortmund side now. Will they accept it or refuse it? We'll learn about it soon I think.
WOW thats stupid money to be paying for a player that has only had two good seasons and was not known a couple of seasons before that. He is a good player and is looking like a world class player but even then when you pay that amount what if they have a injury which stops them from playing? I know chelsea are one of the richest clubs in history and can afford that risk but that just sounds stupid to me.

So, Malen to Dortmund, 35 mil Euros fee. At first it looks like a direct replacement for Sancho, but he doesn't actually play on the right wing. Then again, neither did Salah early in his career.

Anyway - this looks like another great piece of business from Dortmund. He looked really dangerous on the Euros and he was one of the best Eredivisie players for a while already, he might be a bit worse than Sancho but the money difference will help Borussia strengthen the other parts of the team.

If they sell Haaland, they will have ~250 million euros to reinvest into the team. Huge money, a great opportunity, but not an easy task as well.
What people do not realize is that they do not have to reinvest that money into the club right away, they do not even have to do it in 2 seasons, it is a money there that will make the team financially stable for a long time and they could use that to make things a lot better for them in the long term.

You could get better youth facilities, you could get a lot better staff for every place, you could get better facilities for the A team, you could get 2 players for 40 million dollars each for 3 seasons, these are all things you can do. Hell with that kind of money you could even get a bit more loan and build a whole new stadium very easily. So, it is the kind of amount that could turn a team from decent to great in less than a decade if you use it wisely. Or you could be like Barcelona and make so much money and the spend it badly and become poor and not doing great. So, it is a bit of a problem.

Manchester United anticipate a formal approach from Paris St-Germain this summer for France midfielder Paul Pogba. Where Pogba will finally go? The saga around him really lasts too long.

I also saw those reports about PSG interests on Pogba and upon watching that I was like "still doing transfers?, just stop already you got everything with recent transfers what more do you want?". He has denied new contract being offered so yeah likely that he is gonna go there in his country playing for the best club in there. Also United will also be happy offloading one of the CDM's in which they have good density. So IMO its a win for United.

In other news related, it seems PSG fans don't want him at the club: https://metro.co.uk/2021/07/24/paris-saint-german-fans-hang-anti-paul-pogba-banner-outside-parc-des-princes-14982955/

If PSG could, they would have all the star players in their squad. Even when I heard rumors of Messi's transfer, PSG wanted Messi to take their own squad. PSG spend so much money but they can't win the title. PSG should focus on building a stable team without wasting money and hiring experienced coaches.

I don't think Lukaku will leave Inter this season. However, if this season is not a great one for Inter ( especially in UCL ), I think a lot of players besides Lukaku will leave Inter next summer as most of them are there for performance and some of them are on the last years of playing at high level.

Regarding Haaland , I think he will stay another year at Dortmund in order to catch even more experience as personally , I would love to see him at Real , Juve or even Barcelona in a few years when Messi retires but I don't know why I have a feeling that he will join Bayern.

Transfer rumours:

Chelsea are poised to submit a £130m bid for Borussia Dortmund's Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland, 22, after owner Roman Abramovich gave his blessing to proceed with what would be a club-record deal. Does this mean that the winner of the race for Haaland is finally known?
Inter Milan are demanding at least £102.5m from Chelsea for Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku, 28, if the Blues are unable to sign Haaland. So, Chelsea decides between Haaland and Lukaku. Which would be a better solution for them?
Manchester City say reports they have agreed a £160m deal for Tottenham striker Harry Kane are nonsense. Does that mean Kane stays at Tottenham?

France striker Kylian Mbappe, 22, has told PSG he does not intend to sign an extension to his contract, which runs to 2022, and wants to leave the club this summer or next. Is it a call from Real?

Mbappe is destined for Real Madrid that is obvious but I would be shocked if Haaland picks Chelsea over a team like barcelona or Real Madrid I am sure that real madrid have enough money for him and I think we will see both Haaland and Mbappe at the club eventually maybe not in the same window but I think Haaland will stay at dortmund until next summer where he will move to real.

Some club owners don't care if they lose a good player on a free transfer or not they just want players to keep to their words and keep to the contract agreement at least if you signed 5 years they expected you to renew and if not let your 5 years be 5 years. PSG are not ready to lose their star players just yet in fact they are recruiting more in an attempt to win the champions league for the first time

For sure when you sign a 5-year contract the club owner/ management expects to have you for 5 years and basically, invest in you. That's something quite understandable. What it isn't, at least from my point of view, is what you will gain/ get from someone that doesn't want to "work" for you anymore? Are you gamble that he will turn his mind? Maybe even convince him that this will be the year by winning the CL? Undecided
If a player refuses to renew his contract and want a new challenge, understandably, some club would cash on him while some club owners would rather see him stays on the bench till the end of his contract if he refuses to be professional and do his job. Some players pushes for a transfer request to try and force a way out while some boycott training, those who boycott training are fined by the club for breach of contract. Every top team goes into the champions league competition to win the trophy it's always unpredictable who the winners would be. PSG spend so much money on Mpabbe and Neymar to win them the champions league at least so far they've not been able to do so and there is no stable club right now ready to spend that much on Mpabbe maybe 2-3 years from now his value would decrease

This is what I do. I drink and I know things.
Player who has a year left in his contract and doesn’t want to stay with the club...  But still has a ton of value in the transfer window.  There’s only one move:  Sell.  By January those clubs bidding for him now would just wait for a few months to get him for free.

Every time that some big star (or not) who has one year contract, doesn't want to renew and wants to join another club, I wonder the same thing. What can you possibly get as the present club from him, if he wants to go? Simple nothing. There is no logic for PSG not to sell Mbappe and I'm a bit surprised that they didn't seal the deal already.
