I don't think Thomas Tuchel is that good at PSG, just because he sent PSG to the final last year.
IMO, PSG was just lucky with the drawing. Before the final, they won against RB Leipzig and Atalanta.
But yes, they kicked out my team Manchester United this year, but it's still so so for me Grin
PSG is like a one man team show in ligue 1, it's difficult for a new manager to set a standard to make PSG stronger and better every year.
ligue 1 is not that competitive. but yeah, this year is different. not sure if they become weaker or other teams become stronger.

Tottenham have begun negotiating with Kane for extending his contract. Actually, he still has 3 more years left on his contract but Tottenham must be doing this for fending off the interest from big clubs. I wonder whether he will finish his career here. In my opinion, he could go to Real Madrid or PSG in the future.

somehow, I think Kane will be a United Player. just my feeling, but maybe not this season.
United is a good place for the England National Team strikers.

Ramos has denied the first offer from Real Madrid. He wants 15M per season where RMA authority can give 12M/season. Ramos also declared PSG is offering him a great salary and they are bringing Messi to the France league.

The name of Giroud is increasing in rankings of Juventus interest as 4th striker.

I think is the best you can have as the last attacker for very cheap and for only 6 months contract.
Indeed. His link-up play is great as well and this deal [if it happens] would surely benefit them in both ways.

I rarely follow Championship so I did look him up on YouTube and looks promising but I think he's a bit pricey in regards to what he brings to the table...
- Based on their current standing, it'll be extremely hard to make them lower their asking price.

The candidates who could move to Norwich in return are said to be Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson. Both still have contracts running until 2023 and could make Norwich lower their asking price for the Argentinian, whom they are understood to value at around €44 million.

Giroud is a nice option to have on the bench, he won’t demand to start every game. He’s great in the air too so a really good weapon to have if maybe the game isn’t going the way of Juve.

Juve's been making pretty decent transfer decisions of late. Definitely a backup striker for cups and deadheats, and we all know Giroud still remembers how to score more than most people, plus just having him on the field sometimes when you're defending a lead keeps defences on their highest alert.

What if he will end to stay in Inter?

I think Pochettino may go for him now.

Poch is getting connected to both Eriksen and Alli. Both would represent good risk in theory - they are unwanted at their clubs and would be available for a lower price, he worked with both and they were great for him.
Also, PSG has a deficit of quality midfielders so it makes sense from that perspective as well.

I'm curious to see how much money he'll be given and how will they handle the (seems more evident day by day) Mbappe departure.

PSG could have won even last year, everyone looks at hindsight and say that Bayern was the much better team, however finals have this sort of magical situation where you could be any great team and you could still end up losing for just one game, look at the leagues, does PSG never lose? They lose to teams that are much worse, look at Bayern, do they never lose? They can even lose to teams bottom of the league, it is all luck in football at certain point and sometimes players are not on their days.

With Poch, I am sure PSG will get better, not only because he could be a better manager, but also because it would be fresh situation and everyone will get a reset. Think of it like your computer starting to run slow, you close it, wait a few minutes, reopen and suddenly it is better, you didn't change anything, but it is still better, think of this addition like that.

it's official now.
PSG just announced it a few minutes ago.
Pochettino will be at PSG until 30 June 2022.

The polling question on this thread could be closed now  Grin

He will do well at PSG, he’ll have a pretty much unlimited transfer budget (FFP pending). Poch was good at Spurs, he reached a CL Final with a very low net spend. Will be interested to see him with PSG, there will be more pressure on him to land the big prizes.
well, if Mauricio Pochettino has started to enter PSG and fight with him then that can strengthen PSG's defense and of course with new strategies that might be applied to this club, it's just that it's too early to announce at the beginning of this year because there is still a long way to go. to take next year.
PSG's target is actually to win in the champions league, of course in the hands of Tuchel. PSG almost sealed the champions league title last season, but Bayern Munich thwarted PSG's dream. But under Tuchel, PSG's achievements are very good because he is the only coach who is able to transfer PSG to the Champions League final even though he has to be defeated by Bayern, Pochetino also has good achievements at Spurs after being able to bring Tottenham as runner-up in the Champions League two seasons ago.

Tuchel is a very good coach and has achieved very good results in Paris.
He failed to achieve the club's ultimate goal, winning the Champions League but I don't think he lost his job primarily because of that failure but because of a very controversial and strange interview the week before his dismissal where he unnecessarily mentioned politics and other things.

According to rumours, Manchester Utd hopes to sign Jadon Sancho for less than 100 million pounds this season. It seems that Manchester Utd are ahead of other big clubs to sign him. But it is still not clear that whether Dortmund will let him go or Sancho would prefer going to Manchester Utd.

As a Spurs fan, hope this happens. United have this really bad habit of signing mega price mega expensive super stars and I really will not mind a rival spending even more money and putting itself into even more debt.

Sancho is a wonderful talent,,, but Chelsea showed us talent that is not yet ready for EPL can be a real waste and demotivate flourishing youth.

Exactly, he is don't this thing since the last summer, he always posts things in black and white and it is not random.
Back in the days when he was in Turin before leaving for Manchester, he was posting always in red...

He is doing the same thing.

You can check his history or even here on this 3d, I posted a lot of them in the last summer transfer window

I feel Pochettino will do well in PSG now that he will be able to sign most of the players he wants. I sort of wondered why it had taken so long for any of the top clubs to take him as their manager.

Most of us didn't see his move to PSG coming. @tokeweed, I guess it's time to change the poll  Wink

It's either Manchester United go to their price tag or Sancho himself request to a transfer to ManU which will ultimately pressure Dortmund on giving in their highest offer which I think didn't happen in previous negotiations as Sancho I think is ok in staying in Dortmund or maybe is looking for other competitive club. What Man United can do now is talk to Sancho or maybe give him a better offer/contract that would make him request a transfer.

Yeah that is also another way to push Dortmund for the transfer if Sancho is also keen in joining United. We already saw how Leroy Sane pushed Manchester City to let him go to Bayern Munich but his case was a bit different as he didn't signed contract extension and they had no other left. While in Sancho case , his contract is up till 2022 and that's quite a time. Won't it be a bit difficult? Don't think Dortmund will let him leave easily.
Manchester announcement for getting Sancho from Dortmund but I think is not happen because Manchester United do not have enough money to get Sancho and Dortmund will sell most higher price. Maybe if Manchester United sell Pogba for Juventus or Real Madrid they will have chance to get Sancho but its not happening because Pogba become most active player for Manchester United and become good relationship for Bruno Fernandes at middle field.
