I don't hear any rumors about Cristiano Ronaldo. He will probably stay at Juventus. At least until next season. And Ronaldo will do his best to win the Champions League title. If Juventus could have formed a slightly stronger squad, perhaps winning the title would have been easier.
Ronaldo is not the kind of player Juventus need to carry the champions league it's been over 20 years since they were champions, the mistake Juventus made was letting down of their young stars, Dybala and Pogba were the only chance of Juventus making it through go the final but they decided to let go Pogba a few years ago and since then Juventus have been buying World-class players to strengthen the team but nothing is working, Ronaldo at his age is a multiple champions league winner and does not care about it anymore, the hunger is not there, he is just playing for individual awards and not what the team wants, the arrival of Ronaldo ruined the chances of Juventus building a good team around Dybala, Douglas Costa. Juventus lack team spirit, they have all the good players to conquer Europe but they are just too fragile they need to introduce young talents into the team. Take a look at the Chelsea team.

I would like to focus on Cristiano Ronaldo: he is expected in Turin next Monday to start preparing for the new season. But this is decision week, the one that should lead to the choice on his future. At the moment we know there are no signals. The Portuguese star still has a year left on his contract with Juventus and has not expressed, either directly or through the mouth of Jorge Mendes, his desire to leave Italy. In any case, the discussion with Juve will inevitably have to be faced, in order to understand if there is the will to keep working together. But if it is true that Mbappé is planning to leave PSG for Real, he could certainly be the man indicated to fill the gap left by n*10 at PSG.

Its still just a conflicting news about Harry Kane's move to Manchester City.
The Sun newspaper is tge one that confirmed a deal is settled and City will pay £160 million.
On the other hand The Athletic confirmed that the London club will not sell Harry this summer at any price!!
In my opinion its true that City needs a striker this to be realistic, but the unrealistic is to sell Spurs, the best striker in the league, to a competitor with them in the league.
And personally I don't want to see Kane in Man City because they will be a perfect team and the league is going to be boring a one side dominating the whole league while other 5-6 teams battle for tge remaining UCL seats.

It's really interesting yeah. Different sources say different things about this probable transfer. But BBC Sport was also claiming it if I'm not wrong. I guess they are a more credible source than The Sun and The Athletic. Let's wait and see what the next days will bring us.

Join hands and help me to grow everybody...
It will be a good long race with Spurs denying bids and City trying to make something in order to get Kane. Glad after Sancho-United- Dortmund drama we have something next to enjoy and talk about.  Cheesy
Oh i guess there will be coming a few more enjoyable Dramas til the transfer window will be closing.
There are so many already , Lewandowski from bayern munich , the Haaland drama from Dortmund.
Its exciting to read all the news about the big players and possible Transfers that they maybe will be doing.

Yeah, I laugh at the transfer saga of Harry Kane, Tottenham regected the last bid for Kane, the Paul Pogba deal from Manchester United to where ever..... I'm deeply pain Paul Pogba rejected the deal offered to him and wants to leave.
Kylian Mbappe rejecting a deal from Paris saint German, having just a year in he's contract left and they don't want to miss him.

https://www.90min.com/posts/chelsea-transfer-news-timo-werner-open-to-leaving-dortmund-bayern

According to this source, Chelsea's young striker Timo Werner is open to leaving Chelsea this summer. He would like a move to a Bundesliga club again. Maybe he would go back to Leipzig again. I don't think that Dortmund or Bayern would like to sign him unless they lose their best strikers (Haaland and Lewandowski). Maybe Chelsea can use Werner in a swap + money deal with one of these teams for one of the two players I mentioned.

That is pretty much the only source putting it this way. What I just found is that Chelsea is allegedly planning to let Werner go if they can then realize a mega deal with either Lewandowski or Haaland. Werner's advisor said a few weeks ago that there won't be any transfer for Werner right now. I also don't believe that Werner wants to leave Chelsea. He is very likely earning a shit ton of money and it doesn't that much sense to let Werner go if Lewandowski or Haaland comes since both are playing in the center, Werner isn't. I don't think there is any substance to these rumors.

Yeah, maybe it's really like you said. And Werner can play as a winger also. If Haaland or Lewandowski comes to this team, Tuchel would prefer Werner as a winger in the starting eleven. He may be better there and contribute much bigger also, who knows. But if Werner still has a bad season again, then Chelsea would have no choice rather than getting rid of him. I also think that Chelsea are actually one of the perfect clubs for Werner. But the guy still has problems on getting accustomed to it.

I would always let Werner play as a winger, maybe a little bit more positioned to the center, but not middle center. Middle center players like Haaland or Lewandowksi are a completely different type of players compared to Werner. Take all those wingers who are really strong, it is all about pace and 1 vs. 1 technique and strength. Werner has that. He would be a waste if his coach puts him middle center. How would you ever use your pace to its full extent except in those lucky situations where you get the ball in a counter attack and can run across the field. Werner is a winger to me.

Juventus is really close for Locatelli,  Euro Champion.
He got offers from Arsenal too according to sky sport but he was a Juventus fan when he was younger and now he only wants Juventus.

If the deal will happen this can be the only player bought for Juventus in this session.

If we look at the background of Locatelli who was a Juventus supporter when he was young, it is very likely Locatelli did not hesitate to choose to
move to the club he had dreamed of since he was young. Moreover, we know Arsenal's track record, which is always unable to compete with other
teams when buying players. So I believe Arsenal will have to fail again to get Locatelli. Another thing Locatelli might consider is Juventus playing
in the Champions League, while Arsenal are not in the Champions League. We know almost all Europa players want to play in the Champions League,
so there is a very big chance for Juventus to get Locatelli.

Marca says that Kylian Mbappe has rejected PSG's last contract offer. He really wants to go to Real Madrid now. And Real Madrid also want to finish this deal without having a problem. On the other hand, PSG don't want to lose him. He has only one year left on his contract. I wonder how this will end.
I think it will be better if PSG lets him go to Real Madrid. What for to defend him? He has no interest anymore to play in PSG. When a player already has no interest to stay, it will be a worse decision to keep him in the club. Imagine if the player won't show his best performance in the next season? It can a big problem both for the player and the club as well. The player price may decrease quite a lot and probably Real Madrid will be no longer interested t sign him. I hope PSG management won't consider experiencing this potentially bad situation.
It's just that Paris Saint-Germain is probably not satisfied with the amount offered for Mbappe and the French club is ready to play a risky game, as a result of which the club may not get anything in the end and release the player as a free agent. PSG also probably believes that another year of Killian's game at the Paris club is quite commensurate with the amount that the club could have saved in the event of the sale of the player. Also, the problem is that Real Madrid is not in such a good financial condition now to pay a good price for a player. I think that the player is professional enough to work out his contract to the end if anything happens and continue to demonstrate a good game.

You have a good point, but it's not really that easy to let one of your best players go, sometimes players don't really want to leave, but they make it look like they want to, so the club can address some issues they prolly aren't comfortable with (most times it's wages). Then again it does not matter if a player wanted to leave a club or not, I believe as professional footballers they always play to the best of their ability, cause they are not just playing for the club, but for their individual accolades and development, thus even if PSG stop Mbappe from leaving, he'll still deliver his best for them next season.

Having said that, the real fear for PSG should be the rather short time he has left on his current contract, if they do not sell him now, they run the risk of him leaving the club for free if they fail to convince him to renew his contract as the season progresses; and for a player like Mbappe that'll bring the club millions of pounds if they sell him, it'll be a big loss if he goes for absolutely nothing.

The Parisian club renews confidence in its Argentine coach, "Pochettino" until 2023.

They are going for Pogba to according to rumors now.
It is so easy to play without rules for them.

They had -200m€ for Covid but they already increased salaries by 150m/200€ ish, and already spent 70/80m for Hakimi.

On these 200 for salaries, they have the renew for Neymar also with the salary+taxes of the new players.

I think PSG should find a way to convince him to extend his contract until 2023 and agree to let him go next season without hassle otherwise it will be the worst loss of the decade next summer.

^  Yup.  Pep should prolly look for a cheaper alternative for Kane cos Daniel Levy is a shrewd businessman even if he wanted to let go of Kane.  What more when he wants to hold him..?  Maybe he’s just making City think he doesn’t want to sell so he could squeeze every penny.  Grin

But I think a good cheaper alternative for Kane and a somewhat upgrade for Jesus is Danny Ings.

Edit:  Typo.
Better to get Haaland for that ridiculous price, they can even get him with 15-20% reduction. Same goes for Mbappe, and they are younger and more useful imo. You know, they can get ol' Lewandowski for 1/3 that price without getting ride for any player.
@Avirunes, nice to hear there is nothing sure about that...

Yeah could be possible with a money like around 150 + million Euro you can get very good players and build a good squad at the expense of one striker who will hit 30 after 2-3 years. The thing is will City take the bait. BTW earlier offer of 100+ player wasn't that bad for Spurs as well.

Yeah Danny Ings will be a good one. He is a very good striker of the ball and is very good in finding spaces.

I am seeing football deals which are out of the world. Maybe, it is me but I cannot understand these million dollar valuations! Either fiat money got inflated too much after the pandemic because our currency got debased or I do not really what is happening.
Harry Kane 180? Come on? That is outrageous.
Let's see in afew years time what Kane's palmares is going to be.
It's seriously outrageous but, that's what the world of sports especially soccer to be specific has been about these days. When it's got everything to getting a highly performing player. Kane who had a lot of difficulty in scoring a goal during the early stage of the Euros later came to score over 4 goals, there isn't any much reason for him not to get a outrageous offer. I see Manchester City throwing in the bat to not just get the best players but to eradicate the competition and Tottenham is taking the bate. If care isn't taken, its going yo seem like a Bayern Munich and Bundesliga, what we are going to have in the EPL with Manchester City. Some clubs are just into the transfer business while others understands the way to the trophy.

Guess then they are just making news only and no confirmed one. I also watched some articles saying City made 160m Euro bid and others saying 160m tag is a bit too much and City are backing off. Here is the status of the Kane-City-Spurs drama from a credible transfer reporter Romano: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1418526418141696000

I think spurs will continue to try to keep kane at a high enough price and maybe later be able to get some other players to replace kane using that money, kane's position now is the same as gareth bale's experience when he wanted to move to real madrid but kept being held by spurs to be able to get a higher price than real madrid and in my opinion in the end the transfer drama will still make spurs give up and release kane for under 160 million euros, because if spurs force kane to continue to stay, while kane really wants to leave it will certainly damage the balance the team next season and most likely kane will not play with all his heart going forward.

Arsenal signing some good players towards this season is a welcome development they can't be a title contender nor win the title, at least they won't participate in any European competition thus their players won't be too fatigued due to stressful outings thus they have an ample opportunity to remain focus  and concentrate on domestic trophies like FA and Carabao cups while trying to finish the league table in a good position of course we are all knew Arsenal as an inconsistent club however I am anticipating an improve and consistent winnings by the team this season
Honestly if you look at the confirmed players so far, they do not really have anything substantial, sure they are "in talks" with some names but when you look at the names they got, it is just Lokonga and Nuno and that's about it, that is not really a good off season of transfers if you ask me, that is just decent and they always have that kind of seasons and that doesn't turn out to be great for them in the end.

I would say Arsenal needs to spend 100+ million dollars a year for 2-3 seasons in order to become a team that could fight for a title and we all know they are not making that much money so even if they wanted to they can't just spend that much money anyway. Which means the best they can do next season will be top 6 finish for Europe ticket, otherwise we are talking about the same old same old arsenal that plays not that bad in FA cup maybe but suck at league and nothing else.
