Gattuso has been already sacked from Fiorentina with the season not started yet.

Fonseca will not join Spurs.

As result, Gattuso now is in Pole Position for joining spurs!

...

transfermarkt.co.uk now also reports about the out of Gatusso and the alleged interest from the spurs

Quote
Earlier on Thursday, The Athletic named Gattuso as the favorite to take over Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs are currently looking for a successor for José Mourinho. Previously, it was understood that Paulo Fonseca would take over that position, but the club now appears to have decided against that transfer. That decision does not have a financial background; rather, the club prefers Gattuso as the club's ideal coach.

and here are three more transfer news:

Yerson Mosquera - from atlético nacional to wolverhampton wanderers

Quote
Since Jan. 1, EU players have to acquire a work permit to play in the United Kingdom. In order to receive a work permit, players have to fulfill a point-based system. To protect the attractivity of the Premier League, the English FA has eased the visa requirements for players from other countries—including for players from South America where competitions like the Copa Libertadores and some U20 tournaments are now ranked highly in the point system. Wolverhampton Wanderers have now benefited from the new system and signed Colombian talent Yerson Mosquera.

Matthias Ginter - from borussia mönchengladbach to fc barcelona?

Quote
After Ginter has been linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen by Sport Bild, the center-back is also being watched by Barcelona according to a report by the Redaktionsnetzwerks Deutschland.  The Catalans are in for the defender for whom Gladbach can only offer a new contract with a reduced salary. "The ten golden years in which there was always more and more money are over," Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl has said to Bild. "Players, agents, clubs—everyone has to take a step back." Ginter earns €3.5 million a year.

Ashley Young - from inter milan to aston villa

Quote
After one-and-a-half years with Inter Milan, Ashley Young has returned to England to play for his former club Aston Villa. The 35-year-old signed a one-year contract that will keep him until Jun. 30, 2022, at Aston Villa.

Maybe I missed it but I read Buffon is back at his home club? It is said that he returned to Parma. He's back with a free transfer status. At the age of 43, it seems that he does not want to retire immediately. We know Parma are currently in Serie B the Italian league.
I assume many fans wanted to see him retiring but he has other plans. I don't think Buffon will continue more than 1-2 years, helping Parma joining Serie A again will be his main objective tho.
BTW there is talks? between Ramos and PSG? Still nothing clear after the talk.

Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga (21) is leaving the club this summer. Arsenal have already made an offer for the player, while Bayern are also following the situation closely
https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1405560758667259912

I haven't found much about Lokonga except that his market value is about €12m according to Transfermarket.com.
Are there any Anderlecht fans around? Would you consider him worth the money?

Sergio Ramos will leave Real Madrid, where he will end? in another top team or in MLS?
Honestly I do not see Ramos doing anything substantial anymore, dude wasn't a bad player even on his last season, but he wasn't good enough to play in any meaningful team, and instead of going to some midtable team or even low rank team, it would be wiser to go to a place like USA, Qatar, China or whatever because those nations will give him the most money.

I get that it is not easy to accept that fate and move on but that is what you should be doing if you are no longer that good, I get that it is psychologically a horrible thing because you have been one of the best defenders in the whole world for 15 years and then suddenly someone tells you to go to china to get paid otherwise you will not be wanted, that is of course a big change and it of course is a terrible feeling. But at the end of the day he is not as good as he used to be so he just has to accept it and move on.

Today when I open my eye and check instagram news see Sergio Ramos announce to leave Real Madrid after 12 years, very bad and sad hear this information about Ramos will left Real Madrid, always my favorite team never give applause and more appreciated for legendary player who give many trophy for team, from Raul Gonzalez, Iker Casilas until Sergio Ramos always neve give more applause by Madrid management.

This is the biggest news of the week for me,,, not Morata moving or Sancho rumors but this. I do not follow much Spanish football but everybody knows the name of this guy, either for national team or Real Madrid. Losing their king Zidane and now their prince Ramos. I guess it is a total new era for them now.
This is heartbreaking and the end of an era. It has been a a good stay but Real Madrid legends are treated badly after servicing 16 years at the club. Since Ronaldo decided left the club in 2018, So many things have changed in Real Madrid and this club won't be same appealing to the people. Real Madrid and we are the football fans forever grateful Sergio Ramos.

A huge loss for Real Madrid, there will never be another. Simply the greatest defender of all time. Thank you Ramos!

@leea-1334 I’m also gutted to see him leave, and in my personal opinion if Real doesn’t buy any big player now Perez position will be under scrutiny. Also if Perez decides to bring Bale back, that’ll be the last straw and I expect fans to protest aggressively against him.

Well, Real Madrid finally loses his captain if he leaves. Who will be the next captain?
This is not even a problem there are great leaders still left in the team, Modric and Kroos are both leaders but I'm sure the handband will be given to Modric to give the team an exceptional leadership spirit as the most oldest in the team, we still have the likes of Marcelo who is the assistant captain in the team but his future is not certain yet.

Let's talk about an odl legend that doesn't want to stop!

Yesterday the anticipation of Kyle Krause, today the announcement of Parma: Gianluigi Buffon will be back at a vengeance. He signed a two-year contract with Parma
I never wanted to see him go I want to see him play till 50 years, he is still strong physical and can go more than. 2 years but I'm sure Parma is his last destinations...

Yesterday the anticipation of Kyle Krause, today the announcement of Parma: Gianluigi Buffon will be back at a vengeance. He signed a two-year contract with Parma and was presented with a video on social channels: 'The return of Superman', with Buffon entering once again the Tardini stadium.
Superman returns (a little older).

transfermarkt.co.uk also reports on the superman's return to ac parma - G. Burton is back in biz Cool

Quote
The circle for goalkeeping legend Gianluigi Buffon is closed: With the hashtag #SupermanReturns, Parma confirmed the return of the 43-year-old after 20 years on Thursday afternoon. Buffon had left the Gialloblu for Juventus for the then record fee for a goalkeeper of €52.88 million in 2001. For Juve, he has played ever since, with the exception of a brief spell at Paris Saint-Germain in 2018/19. The 2006 World Cup winner’s departure from the Bianconeri after the expiration of his contract on June 30 had already been announced in May.

I doubt think that they can pay his high wages if they want to unless they offer him lesser wages and he accepted it.

This is a very important consideration. People often only look at transfer fees, and don't see that for big name players the wages are just as important a factor.
As for a player coming towards the end of his career, he will likely be looking for one last big contract, so I'm not sure how much he'd be willing to accept a reduction, unless of course they offer a longer term...

The future of Hakan Calhanoglu with AC Milan still unclear. According to reports, he will make any decisions after EURO2020. Last offer from AC Milan, they are already give an offer 4 million euros and this will be final offer for Calhanoglu, if he doesn't accept it, Milan will let him go. For me, Milan still need him, if they are lose Calhanoglu, Maybe ac milan will be weak in midfield, this is based on last season, when calhanoglu was not played.
In my opinion, he has made the right decision(gamble with the future)  to postpone  discussing his contract with AC Milan at this time, and waiting after the Euros are over, from the beginning many young and talented players have made the Euros a place for new and old stars to show their quality of play and often players- these players can get high-value contracts from clubs after their good performances in euro, i think hakan also did that in order to attract interest from other big clubs, but unfortunately turkey's poor form in euros this year failed in the last two games and Hakan, who is expected to play impressively, seems to have disappeared from the field and of course this will make other clubs think again about signing him, so inevitably Hakan's choice is to stay in Milan by agreeing to a contract extension with a salary of €4 million per season.

Sergio Ramos will leave Real Madrid, where he will end? in another top team or in MLS?
It is sad if he really leaves Real Madrid. I know well this man, he is very loyal to his club.

I think Ramos will move to another club outside Spanish League (La Liga) if he wants a new club. He may go to PSG or Premier League or MLS. I think these three options are possible as his new destination. However, I am not sure about what club he dreams to join if he isn't a Real Madrid player anymore. But in my view, PSG or Man United is likely a good option for him.

Well, Real Madrid finally loses his captain if he leaves. Who will be the next captain?

There is no need to question Ramos loyalty to Real Madrid, it's actually very sad to know that Real Madrid finally had to part with Ramos.
But it can't be helped, Ramos did not agree with the contract offer that Real Madrid gave. I think Ramos will respect Real Madrid by not joining
another La Liga team. Hopefully Sergio Ramos can join the Premier League team, because I've always wanted to see Ramos play in
the Premier League. In my opinion, the right person to replace Ramos as captain is Benzema, who has also made a huge contribution for Madrid.

According to some Madrid press they say about 4 potential destinations for Sergio Ramos: Man City - Man United - Paris Saint-Germain - Seville.
The team who will get him will get a leader in the defense line. Also they will get a motivating icon in difficult times.
I'm not very sure about Man City since their squad Is filled with  Center Backs, United And PSG could need a leader in their defense so they are more favorite destination as for Sevilla I doubt think that they can pay his high wages if they want to unless they offer him lesser wages and he accepted it.

Barcelona need some experienced defenders for next season. Because Barcelona's defense was bad enough this season. But instead of strengthening the defense, the Barcelona coach has focused on strengthening the forwards. I don't think Barcelona will be able to do well next season without strengthening the defense.

I agree with it. Gerard Pique has got old (34). They have Umtiti and he is a good defender I believe. But they can bring another good and experienced defender to the team. It would be for the benefit of them surely. They shouldn't focus only on their attacking line.
