now the Suarez rumors will surely become even more concrete...

Higuain will play good in Beckham's Inter Miami. He is getting old so Juventus did good to get rid of him. Regarding Suarez, things aren't pretty concrete IMO. Juventus want a good central forward and right now rumours are that they are into Dzeko and Suarez, Priority wise it is Suarez but some reports say he is claiming rumours as false while some says he might become Juventus player soon.

On other hand, Thiago Alcantara has joined LFC and is official now. I wonder what position Klopp will be rolling him out.

To further fuel the Suarez to Juventus rumors, Higuain has made the move from Juventus to Inter Miami for a free transfer.
Without further ado…

Welcome to Inter Miami, Gonzalo Higuaín!

This means, Juventus doesn't have a striker at the moment (Dybala is a second striker) and Ronaldo, Costa and Cuadrado are all wingers.  This means that Juventus would be on the market to find a replacement for Higuaín.  Suarez has been linked with a move away from Barcelona to Juventus although Athletico Madrid are also in the race to get his signature. I think this might be it considering Barcelona needs to make some drops in order to bring in Depay and Wijnaldum from Liverpool.

Juventus may go for both of them and sell Dybala, who knows.
Yes, I heard a lot of news that Dybala could be sold. The problem he asks increase to large salary. This is made the Juventus want to sell him before the contract expires in 2022. This is the result of financial difficulties that have occurred due to Covid-19. Dybala is young he is at his best, I think if this happens it will be a bit of a disadvantage.

~ a very good transfer, which definitely makes liverpool even stronger.
Liverpool midfield needs him and Thiago is a perfect person in that position. Yes, I am sure this instantly makes Liverpool stronger and more effective to play. I appreciate Liverpool management, they do a smart transfer. 48M Euro isn't an expensive price with big talent and a famous player like Thiago. Can't wait to see how Thiago will play with other Liverpool players!

Not sure what's going around with Juventus and their targets. Romano tweeted about Edin Dzeko being almost done deal for Juventus here and denied Suarez link up with Juventus here : https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1306638871732649985

Not sure where this is heading at- Dzeko or Suarez?

Probably Dzeko and probably before tomorrow evening.
Just don't trust what Romano says about Juve, keep in mind he is a huge Inter fan after all.

Juventus may go for both of them and sell Dybala, who knows.

Feel mixed about this,,, as a Spurs fan I loved watching Bale play of course, and I can only imagine the possibilities of having him back with Kane and Son up front, I mean he was such a blazing fast player but obviously now he has not played for so long plus injuries,,, hard to imagine how he fits but who knows with some Mourinho love;)

Ake can also play at left-back. Maybe not at a Man City standard, but neither are Mendy or Zinchenko.

I think he's been brought to provide cover on both positions and not really to take a place in the first 11. Laporte is one of 2 CB's, Ake is probably behind both Stones and Fernandinho.

Don't forget they still did not give up from Koulibaly, they will probably push hard again closer to the transfer deadline. Ake is good, I really like him - but as a squad player.

Lyon rumored interest to bring Paqueta from AC Milan. According Milannews, if Paqueta sold to Lyon, money from this player will used to bring Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina.  This is will be good deal for AC Milan since they are need CB.

Paquetà to Lyon means Aouar out and according to media the 2 clubs on him are Arsenal and Juventus.

Well, City lost the title early on after Laporte's injury. It's the same for all teams - nobody has 22 players to choose from.
Thiago deal truly strengthens Liverpool - City has yet to bring a player that would improve their game in the same way.
I thought they did with Kalidou Koulibaly, but now that you wrote that, I checked and it seems that deal is off. He would strengthen City on position they need most. They brought Ake but I am not sure he can be a leader in City defense. They need somebody to do for them what Van Dijk did for LFC.

Anyway, once again, great deal for LFC and I still can't believe that other clubs did not enter the race for Thiago and consequently pumped up the price.

Nope..  Ake is decent but hardly a replacement for Kompany.  And I doubt he'll be good enough for the CL.

Anyway, some rumors swirling around that Moyes could be replaced by Eddie Howe.  Smiley  Hope it happens as West Ham has decent attacking players.  I would love to see what he could do with that squad...

Suarez is no in Italy, he already completed the exam for the passport and he will go back to Spain in about 1 hour.

Don't know if Juventus has already left him and he is doing for his personal purpose only.

nice photo collage for all fc liverpool fans. and a very good transfer, which definitely makes liverpool even stronger.
will he already be eligible to play this weekend against fc chelsea??

That’s an amazing acquisition for Jurgen’s Reds. He probably won’t play against Chelsea, it usually takes a while to learn the tactics & formations etc. He will probably play against Arsenal the week after?

City still has better squad depth. I think LFC would have big problems if 1 of the front 3 got injured for longer time. Or if something happened to Van Dijk.

That’s true, I can’t deny that but it’s the same for most teams. Who scores all the goals for Bayern if Lewandowski got a long term injury? Who carries Barca if Messi is out long term? If De Bruyne or Aguero miss batches of games Man City always drop points.

Every team is weakened if they lose one or two of their best players for a significant period due to injury. I agree we could do with another attacker to provide better cover to Mane, Sarah & Firmino. There are rumours we are set to move for Sarr from Watford. He gave us a tough time in our first loss of the season when we lost 3-0 to Watford.

Yep, Thiago was set to sign the extension in May but had a change of heart - telling Bayern he'd like a new challenge. They could have cashed in now or lost him for free next summer.
Bayern needs to strengthen as well so it's a good long-term decision from them.

I agree City is the best team on paper and regarding squad depth, but Liverpool's midfield and offensive threat (attackers + fullbacks) is the best one in the world with Thiago.

Imagine, Robertson, VVD and Mane on the left side, with Thiago as a left no. 8 (I know he will wear no. 6, 8 is a positional reference) and Firmino dropping deep. Switch sides, there are Trent and Salah. Unplayable Grin

Very good news for Liverpool. I can't believe they got one of the best midfielders in the world in his best footballing years (29) for just 25M. What is story behind this deal? He wanted to leave from a team that won CL or maybe last year of contract? Don't see why Bayern would let him go that cheap.
Trofo the thing is Thiago Alcantara has only a year left in his current contract with Bayern Munich, which they are willing to extend, but if I remember correctly, Thiago already informed the club months back that he is looking for a new challenge somewhere else. Liverpool are obviously a very good team that can give Thiago the new experience he desires, with all the trophies klopp and his boys have won in the last two seasons, I think it's a very good decision.

Bayern on the other hand, had to sell based on Liverpool's price which is why the amount seems low, it is either they do not sell now, or Thiago leaves for free at the end of the season, so it's somewhat a win win for all parties, maybe slightly except for Bayern Munich, but they wouldn't mind, the boy has given them his best all the years he was at the Allianz Arena.
