Anybody have the latest on Messi transfer rumors?  Grin

I've not heard any recent rumours, but I think a big part of the Aguero signing was that they wanted to bring in Messi's friend to further encourage him to stay.
He's been at Barca since I think he was 13... it would take something huge to get him to leave. They had that awful 19-20 season obviously culminating in the Bayern debacle... but things have improved somewhat since then. I think he'll stay rather than try to make a new start somewhere else.

Sevilla have offered Spain centre-back Sergio Ramos, 35, a five-year deal. Ramos is out of contract at Real Madrid this summer. Does that mean Ramos stays in Spain and will soon play against his former club?
This is insane 5 years contract for a 35 years olds defender? Sevilla must be out of their mind if they feel they can lure Ramos from Real Madrid with such contract. I think Ramos want to retire at Real Madrid and a 1 or 2 years contract extension is possible.

Legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is wanted by five clubs but he is close to his first club Parma. He is 43 years old but maybe he is the best goalkeeper ever so I don't think anybody say no to him. I wish we see him under Beşiktaş jersey but it looks like he rejected that offer and wants to join the club where everything started. He could play in Champions League with Beşiktaş or help Parma in Serie B, looks like an emotional choice rather than a professional choice though. Let's see where he settles, either way he is a legend and he deserves a legendary career finish.
Is still rumors right?, how about AC Monza who are interested too?. Berlusconi want to buffon going to monza where Balotelli on squad too. Maybe he wants to build Monza like he creates AC Milan in past but with a low budget.

About Parma, I think that club is the best for Buffon,  He can still sharing his knowledge with the academy also,  If will happen, we will miss him on Serie A. Parma must quickly make a deal before another club, Galatasaray and Porto bringing him.

Some transfer news around Bayern Munich as it looks like two Premier clubs contend Coman.
In fact, according to the English press, Bayern Munich striker Kingsley Coman is a very welcome profile in the Premier League. In addition to Liverpool, even Manchester United is ready to make a thought for the former Juventus player.

According to RMC Sport, Kingsley Coman wants to leave FC Bayern in the summer. FC Bayern would let him leave for about €100m. The reasons why Coman wants to leave Munich are different salary expectations, "lack of recognition" and Coman's desire to play in the Premier League (Sky).

Confirmation from @RMCsport: Kingsley Coman wants to leave Bayern. He's not happy with how the club is treating him. FCB want €100m. A good Euros campaign could convince potential suitors to make offers

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1403712905296678924

Hm, sounds like a reasonable price - if one of the English clubs really want to sign him, they need to pay a decent amount. But €100m? I don't know.

Sergio Ramos has been a part of Real Madrid for 15 years which is really insane. And he has come here from Sevilla. I think that he would agree to coming back to his old team after many years and maybe even retiring there.

City has no choice but to try and get Messi then and let him play the false 9 role?
Harry Kane is going to Manchester City and that would be the best transfer ever this season it only a matter of time till they finalise the deal maybe after the EUROs, he would be the perfect replacement for Aguero. Dortmund is a selling club if the right bid comes in from manutd and Chelsea then Haaland and Sancho would make a move
As compared to Aguero and Jesus, definitely Harry Kane is a better fit and a natural born scorer.

But I think that fast paced football city has wouldn't suit Kane because his a slow player but still effective and gifted in front of goal.

Coming to think of it with the current crop of strikers we have around the world, I think he actually is among the top but has city registered their interest??
Harry Kane for City is the best forward I see and more complicated than Aguero and Gabriel Jesus, I see completed performance has by Harry Kane he can play as forward and make goal and many time he become creator for their team to make goal, every year become top scorer and top assist for his team.
well,I still think city does not need any other attacker, because they already have Gabriel Jesus who is a complete finisher delivering on daily basis for city. Giving Gabriel Jesus regular playing time will boost his confidence in front of goals. He already has the likes of Mahrez,Kelvin, and Sterling to provide him the goalscoring chances that he needs.

It's funny how other big teams are playing the higher salary card to take away potential signings of Barca. Guess that's how transfer things are done.
That's why I've said a couple of times already that I think Barcelona's problem stems from their hierarchy and not the manager or even the players, if Barca can't close up minor deals such as this, then what's the tendency that they'll do so when it comes to bigger deals and bigger players, I don't really know what's going on at the top of the club atm, but one thing is for sure, it's damaging the club and it's performances on the pitch.

If next season is bad for Barcelona, then they could gradually be falling from the top, it's up to their management to secure very good players that the coach would work with, right now, Barca's squad isn't too special to win the CL again, they need reinforcements.
I believe Barcelona had a horrible financial past decade and they are living with the problems of those transfers. They spent probably 100+ million on players that didn't provide long term benefit to the club and they are not financially stable right now. However this is Barcelona we are talking about, I am sure they will profit year after year and pay their debts back and go back to a financial situation where they can offer people insane amount of money, after all they were capable of buying so many players because of their profits so they can do that again.

Only problem is at the years they are not providing great results, normally they should get some of that money back but because of pandemic they are neither getting good results nor getting any money as well. In the next 10 years I am sure we will see them become a top club once again with the money they make.

I'd be quite surprised if Ramos leaves Madrid and joins Sevilla, if you ask me I think Ramos still has quite a lot to offer and even if he's no longer wanted by Real, then I think he can prolly be given one or two years at a bigger club, I don't think Ramos will move to Sevilla and in my opinion if he's to switch teams, then he'll switch leagues, it would actually be interesting to see Ramos play in the EPL.

There was also another rumour of Madrid giving a one year contract extension to Ramos and Ramos being interested in that as well. So Ramos playing for Madrid is still on table. But yeah there is Sevilla offer also on table. Still it would be quite wierd watching fan reacting to this. Remember how fans reacted when he left Sevilla for Madrid.

Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, is open to leaving Bayern Munich. If that really happens, it will be an irreparable loss for Bayern.
I don't know how true this news is as I don't see any reason why Lewandowski will want to leave Bayern, except if he wants to try out a different challenge, prolly in a different league, if he eventually leaves Bayern Munich, it'll be almost impossible to replace him.

I don’t know what Pep intends to do next season but Kane, Haaland, Lukaku, three of the rumored players that Pep wants, def does not fit into Pep’s system.  And I’d argue Aguero is a better fit.  It’s just too bad he’s become a liability due to injury set backs.

England winger Jadon Sancho, will become the second highest earner at Manchester United, behind goalkeeper David de Gea, if he completes a move from Borussia Dortmund this summer. It looks like Borussia will be making big money this summer on their players.

Poland striker Robert Lewandowski, is open to leaving Bayern Munich. If that really happens, it will be an irreparable loss for Bayern...
Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, is close to completing a free transfer to Paris St-Germain. He will leave AC Milan this summer when his contract expires. Great deal for PSG.
Barcelona made contact with Germany boss Joachim Low earlier this year before confirming Ronald Koeman would remain their manager. So Koeman stayed because no one else wanted to come?  Grin
Sancho OK. Sevilla wants to get Ramos but apparently he still wants to stay in Real Madrid although all disagreements, I think also he will accept a very late deal with both sides lowering their limits, for example 2 years deal with less salary or 1 year with same wage... Lewandowski will remain in Bayern unless Real Madrid made a big offer. Donnarumma to PSG OK, it is known from some time. Finally, poor Koeman, he better stay at top next season or else he will be sacked..

Transfer rumours:

Former Roma manager Paulo Fonseca has agreed in principle a two-year deal to take charge at Tottenham. What an irony, did Roma and Tottenham agree to replace the coach?  Grin

In the end, Donnarumma will probably go in PSG but, from  "in the following 24hours" announced by DiMarzio will be over 2 weeks.
PSG's willingness to get good players is amazing.
First, they renews with Neymar, sought an agreement to keep Mbappé after the end of the contract, and wants to Messi too, closed the purchase of Wijnaldum and now Donnarumma is coming "for free"?  Nice....

The boy will receive €10m net a season, not bad.

it looks like this year's transfer market has been a pretty busy transfer market for chelsea, and it is reported that now chelsea are starting to target Achraf Hakimi from inter milan, and even chelsea has made an offer of 60 million euros plus Chelsea are also reportedly ready to offer their player Emerson to Inter Milan as a plan to smoothed the transfer of Achraf Hakimi from Inter Milan and it also looks like Chelsea and Achraf Hakimi have concluded a personal agreement with Chelsea at this time.

Seems like Barcelona won't lose only Wijnaldum. They were supposed to be anouncing Depay in the next few days but that has been cancelled as well.

Apparently, Depay will be joining Juventus instead - also on a salary way higher than what Barcelona was offering. That are 2 free agents they planned to sign and have now lost, let's see now what happens with Eric Garcia.
He's a Barcelona youngster so they will probably complete that one - Garcia himself was pushing for that deal since last year.
Barcelona raises the offer made to Memphis Depay in terms of salary and variables to settle the deal as soon as possible.
In general, and unlike Wijnaldum, Memphis deserves that the administration adjust its offer to him within a reasonable range due to several factors, including the team's need for the player, the value of the player, especially his age. not to mention that he can in multiple position player and is the best attacking option after Messi and Griezmann that's why this deal could be more important then the one lost to PSG.

Harry Kane is better in all respects than Aguero. Dribbling, skill, and speed. In all three cases, I think Harry Kane will be ahead. Every season we see Kane's extraordinary performances. Unfortunately, he is not in a good club. He has yet to taste a league title. If Manchester City takes Kane on their team, it will be good for both Kane and Manchester City.
