Very good news for Liverpool. I can't believe they got one of the best midfielders in the world in his best footballing years (29) for just 25M. What is story behind this deal? He wanted to leave from a team that won CL or maybe last year of contract? Don't see why Bayern would let him go that cheap.
Trofo the thing is Thiago Alcantara has only a year left in his current contract with Bayern Munich, which they are willing to extend, but if I remember correctly, Thiago already informed the club months back that he is looking for a new challenge somewhere else. Liverpool are obviously a very good team that can give Thiago the new experience he desires, with all the trophies klopp and his boys have won in the last two seasons, I think it's a very good decision.

Bayern on the other hand, had to sell based on Liverpool's price which is why the amount seems low, it is either they do not sell now, or Thiago leaves for free at the end of the season, so it's somewhat a win win for all parties, maybe slightly except for Bayern Munich, but they wouldn't mind, the boy has given them his best all the years he was at the Allianz Arena.

Mourinho always buying players for which the competition is interested. it seems to me that he wants these players just to prevent them from sign into Manchester United. similar things he did while he was in Chelsea and United.
Bale very likely can be new Sanchez saga in Tottenham.

Regarding Reguilion I would rather blame United a bit. They are taking too much time doing agreements with teams over a transfer right now. Earlier Jadon Sancho and now Reguilon. Jadon Sancho is a bit expensive so maybe other teams don't have anymore interest but they let Reguilon slip away since price is easy and is a good talent.

Reguilon is a confirmed Spurs player now as reported by Fabrizio Romano here : https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1306411099475120128

and on another tweet he also gave a very good news for Spurs fans as Gareth Bale is set to join Spurs on loan : https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1306529909779685376

Thiago strengthens our only weak spot, the midfield. We must be favourites to win the title now, I think we can win the CL again too.
City still has better squad depth. I think LFC would have big problems if 1 of the front 3 got injured for longer time. Or if something happened to Van Dijk.

I woke up to beautiful news that we re set to sign Thiago. Reports are saying we’ll get him in plus another 1-2 players before the transfer window closes.

Liverpool will pay £20m guaranteed plus £5m in bonuses to Bayern for Thiago Alcantara. Player will sign a four year deal and wear the No6 jersey. @joyce

I cannot be happier about this than I am, he's a perfect midfielder. He can pass, press, play defense, carry the ball, dictate tempo.. He's the ultimate addition to a working midfield that we had, he'll add much needed creativity and flair.

So far Gini's not leaving so it was not the case of one or another, but there's still time for Barcelona to make that transfer. They probably will.

^  Hopefully..  Would def love to see Bale back at the EPL.  I think he only has a year left in his contract, right?  Daniel Levy could get him for less than what he sold him for.
Yep, it is the right time to get Bale back, Tottenham should take advantage of this situation. Bale still can't play regularly in Real Madrid, he must have a big desire to leave. Moreover, with his contract only 1 year left, it should make it easier to get Bale at a lower price. I am pretty sure that Tottenham has a big chance to buy him back. Let's see it happens in the near future. Really good news for Tottenham fans and players!!

Sergio Reguilon to Tottenham for €30m as final fee, decent business for tottenham although there's buyback clause. Bale soon?

That's a good news for Spurs. I am glad that they are looking into department they are lacking at which is defense which should be priority right now for them. I haven't seen Reguilon pay but there seems to be Man Utd. also interested in him so I am guessing he is good.

Nobody, expect Premier League's teams have money to spend with the Financial Fair Play and COVID.
They have less money in the cashier due to the empty stadium and less money from PPT so they can't spend more of what they earn.

In this situation, teams are looking for free agents or exchanges with high prices to create fake money.

so the big surprise is because small clubs still keep expensive players and trying to get high money for them. Read Borussia & Sancho. next summer will be very hot

Mandžukić linked with AC Milan, AS Roma, Manchester United, and many other clubs before.
And now with Fenerbache.
He is 34 years old, played for a club from out of nowhere last season (and only played 5 matches).
How is this even possible?
MLS and Chinese Super League might be fit for him.

Not surprising when you consider that he's now 7 years older than when Real bought him and that he isn't part of the team anymore at Real and also won't be as long as Zidane is coach. Real will be so relieved to be able to have him off their payroll. So if the Spurs are really interested and Bale agrees to a (probably) lower salary, I see a good chance for that comeback.

Never seen Reguilon play either but I think we’ve all seen Bale play, it’s where he became a star before it prompted Real to pay a lot of money for him. I think a return to Spure for Bale would be nice. I’d like to see him playing regularly again.

That would also be great if happens. Bale is a great player and have great pace and PL suits him as well. Getting him will solve many problems for Tottenham. And for Real Madrid it will be great as well since they are getting off a bench player with high wage. So that would pull of great financial weight on their chest.

Let's see where it ends.

Recently, there has been euphoria in the Turkish club Fenerbahçe SK after the news that they are bringing in two famous strikers, Mandjukic and Diego Costa.
The club has just issued an official statement denying everything.
This is likely to be a "cold shower" for their fanatical fans.
And of course, the question still remains where Mandjukic will go.

Tottenham about to snap the deal right from Manchester United's nose. Good deal for Tottenham if they manage to see of the rest of the deal because Sergio Reguilon is a decent left back and was even voted the best LB in LaLiga last season while he was on on loan at Sevilla. He could fix Tottenham's left back problems which Danny Rose, Ben Davies and others have been struggling to fill.

I also heard Tottenham might also bring Bale back to London. It should be Man Utd but we all know how they've been handling transfer deals lately. Won't be surprised to see Bale at Tottenham again.

Is it really possible?
It seems Real has finally found a way to get rid of Bale in a way that Tottenham pay his full wages and Real cover his bonuses.
Is this finally a winning combination and an agreement that suits everyone interested?
If this deal is finally realized Real will probably celebrate more than when they became European or Spanish champions  Grin

Depay as replacement? That would be a huge downgrade compared to Suarez from the way I see it, every since he joined OL his value started to drop compared to when he was just a youngster in PSV. Barca will just be better off taking forwards in the premier league rather than taking Depay. Among the forwards link to Barca I think Lautaro Martinez is the most ideal for them to focus on as he is really proving to be a good asset for Inter, but this transfer seems to be impossible for them seeing that Inter and Martinez have a good relationship with each other.

Barca as many other teams has no money right now.
The only chance for them is to get Suarez out and use that money for Depay.

They can't even spend 25m € on a player, there is 0% to going for Lautaro.
The only thing that they can do is exchange players.

Then if that's the case why not just use the money they will have just in case they sell Suarez? I know big clubs like Barca are the most affected ones in the financial crisis but we have seen several news already that they have cut costs from wages as well as other activities just to reduce the blow, other than that there is always a chances that there will be new money flowing in the club as we all know with them having a lot of owners who will be willing to give them new money for them to remain on top.

Probably.

Only teams from the premier league can spend money in this market session and probably on the next 3 (2 winter's and 1 summer's sessions)
Why? Because on premier teams have around 4 billion € at the end of the season and Liga/SerieA 1.5/2 billion.

So with COVID only in premier, there is money left.

Next year it will be even worse for the teams' financial status.
