According to skysports, it's rumored that Manchester united are close to signing Edison Cavani  who is currently a free agent for a 2 year contract.
https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/12089136/edinson-cavani-manchester-united-in-talks-to-sign-former-psg-forward
Not sure if this would be a good move for United. I guess we shall wait and see.

I have also read the news regarding Cavani's move to Manchester United, these rumors will likely come true. Because according to
the news I read, the two parties had reached an agreement, Cavani only needed to undergo a medical test in England. If the health
test is successful, it is likely that Cavani will join Manchester United. Let's wait for the official announcement.

Ousmane Dembélé from fc barcelona

Reports: Dembélé open to Man United move - Barça only want loan with obligation to buy
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/news/view?id=371936
What a waste of time and resources it would be for Manchester United. Ousmane Dembélé is very injury prone and I doubt if his fitness level would be of any help to Man United. They should just focus on buying other players like Sancho rather than waste their time with Dembélé.

The problem with Dembele is not only his long history of injuries. His lack of discipline and good manners is something that should bother any club that is interested in him. The way he forced his transfer from Dortmund to Barca and then his behaviour in Barca ... that's something nobody wants to see. Such drama can bring a lot of distraction to a team. So I don't really feel sorry for Dembele and Barca (that they wasted all that money on him).
Dembele is not the player for Manchester United now cause the club dont need players with the manners that will impact the team negatively but I hear a rumor that the club consider Ocampos to be the perfect right winger they need now.
Meanwhile, VfL Wolfsburg has strengthened their attacking department with the signing of Maximilian Philipp on loan from Dynamo Moscow
Source

Dembele always reminds me a lot of the former Mario Balotelli. talented, a super player with very good skills, but humanly and also for the team spirit a very strong character...

The difference between those two is that Dembele had a chance to prove that he is talented in a top club such as Barcelona.
On the other hand, Balotelli didn't have so big chance. Dembele could be a key player for Barca now that the team is on 'decline' but he is not capable of getting this chance an perform at his top level.
Maybe he is going to get a move to a medium club in the coming months.

I don’t think Dembele is coming to Manchester United because Barcelona are denying any contact with Manchester United, and I’m very happy knowing that he’s not coming to my favourite club, because I don’t think that he’ll add any value to Manchester United. Also you can’t compare these two because Balotelli was reckless, and I specifically remember a match where Mourinho tell hims to not get a red card, and he ends up picking a red card.

Never ever seen Brewster in action but I do know that Sheffield United didn't have a proper striker. Right now they are struggling to score , they don't have good attacking line, their midfield is productive, defense is good but attacking line is faaling apart for them. So maybe that's a reason I feel is for the 25m for a youngster. I wonder if he is good? Is he?

There is one thing for sure, he will get a good amount of playing minutes for Blades at least more than Liverpool.

He's got huge potential. He's a really good finisher and strong when facing the goal. His link-up play is not yet on a level of a player that can get into the Liverpool team, but is decent enough for a mid/low PL club.

I think this is a good deal for all sides. Brewster will finally get play time, Liverpool got really good money for a player that would not have a role to play this season and Sheffield will get a really good potential, an English striker, and will get good money if he develops the way he should based on his potential.

We saw it recently - it's really hard to get a chance at a top PL club. Sancho left City because he did not want to wait and was not given any game time and was a key player for Borussia almost as soon as he joined.

Brewster for 25 million is a great deal for Liverpool. They have a buy-back clause valid for 3 years so it's basically a risk-free move.

Never watched Brewster play but he has had a solid season on loan at Swansea scoring about 10 goals and assisting a couple as well. He is a young player and he needs match time experience so good decision to leave Liverpool and get that time at Sheffield, a club that could definitely use an attacking boost. They haven't scored a single goal in PL this season Smiley

Good job from Liverpool point of view as well since they have a buy back clause so they are not risking much in case he explodes and becomes a world class player.

The Brewster one puzzles me as he did very well in the Championship with Derby. I guess Klopp thinks he needs games to develop & with the front 3 at Liverpool maybe Brewster won’t get the required games there. Hopefully he does well, Sheff Utd is a good team for him.

I don’t know much of Grujic but he played well last night for them.

It was a tricky one, yes. It is the one that the fans don't want to see go, but Klopp has said many times already that Brewster needs to improve his linkup play a lot and that he needs to be better without the ball.
If he becomes a superstar we can bring him back, if not - it's money reinvested in strengthening the team.

Liverpool will be even stronger this season, they added a complete midfielder and finally an extra attacking option you can rely on and lost only Lovren - but will play Fabinho there instead if needed.

A lot of talk about Grujić leaving as well, a host of PL and Bundesliga clubs seem to be interested. Shaqiri was out of the team yesterday due to a possible move away so if Liverpool sells these 2 as well, they will basically recoup the money spent on Jota and Thiago.

Michael Edwards is doing a terrific job, he's almost as integral to this Liverpool transition as Klopp.

Rugani close to Rennes, deal in hours according di Marzio.
Douglas Costa also can go away during this last week, and if one of them will leave Juventus can buy Chiesa.

Remember Di Marzio is not very trustable with Juventus, they give nothing to him.

It would really be a bad decision for Kramarić to join Bayern. He's a centre figure at Hoffenheim, he's really been playing well and he's playing constantly in a team that is playing to his strengths.

In Bayern he'd be a backup player for Lewandovski and Muller positions, he'd never be first choice for as long as they are there.
It must be tempting to join a top club where you fight for trophies, but he can join a club where he'd get more play time. It's hard for me to see him play much at Bayern.

Kramaric is Hoffenheims top-player and he still has a contract for 2 more years. So he would be very expensive for Bayern (I heard Hoffenheim wants at least 40 million Euro for him). And spending  that much money only on a backup when he'll probably won't play that much after all since Lewandowski is machine and hardly misses a match? Then they also have Zirkzee who needs playing time to get better.

And Kramaric is also 29 already. Not really a young talent that could be in a position to fill in Lewandowskis foot steps once he retires/ leaves Munich. And he also keeps having problems with his knee.

So all in all, I doubt that Bayern really was interested in signing him anyway.

I think joining a club that he can be guaranteed a frequent playing time will be better for him and not to hope that something will be wrong with the forward with the likes of Muller for him to come in for play.
