Slava Ukraini!
I have mixed feelings about Aguero signing. Yes, he is old, but still can be good and he is one of my favorite players. But when last year Barca Suarez for free to one of main competitors just because he is old and expensive. And next year they sign 32 year old player who missed most part of season because of injuries. I don't know... Offcourse, they can justify because previous decision was made by Bartomeu board and this one by Laporta, but still...
There wasn't that much doubts and drama about Mess as last summer. But now there is no doubts left that he will stay.

Next season’s CL will be hilarious if he wins his first CL trophy with Barca.  Lol.  Cheesy

Oh, please! Not with clueless Koeman as head coach, perhaps he's just the figure head and isn't the one calling the shots. I could fancy the chance of Guardiola were to return, but I guess that ship has sailed, hasn't it ?

There's a lot of work to be done with the Barça squad and only a coach that has guts make his own plays can make that happen, first thing would be to get pique off that back line 🙄

Coutinho to Liverpool makes no sense at all. Liverpool has grown as a team, attacking players are required to work really hard and Liverpool already has Mane and Jota in the left wing position.

He can't play as a midfielder in a high-pressing Liverpool team, he wasn't able to get both to Barcelona and Bayern teams - so I think this is only meant to fill the newspaper space.

I don’t think it will happen, the way he left, pretending he was injured to force the move to Barca. I don’t think Klopp will forget something like that.

And even if Klopp did forgive and forget I think he’ll hesitate.  It will disrupt the dressing room for sure.

Btw it’s official.  Aguero signs with Barca.  Next season’s CL will be hilarious if he wins his first CL trophy with Barca.  Lol.  Cheesy

FC Barcelona signs Sergio Aguero a great move. That also confirms Messi will stay. But, is this their tactics to convince Messi to stay in the club? No doubt, the signing is going to worth every penny, now Messi and Aguero can both battle together and could make great impact in Barcelona.

Once a friend, Always a Friend!
Only by bringing in Sergio Aguera to keep Messi at the club? I don't know why Barcelona signed Sergio Aguero even though he is old after a long period of injury and since then his performance has been a little shy and for me I don't know whether this is a good step or not by signing Sergio Aguera officially.
But we don't know what Messi's decision is and after Sergio Aguera's trade, hopefully there will be a change so that ico Barcelona will not disappear if there is still messi.

Finally Agüero is back to Spain again. This time he comes to win trophies with Barca. I'm sure he will forget this dramatic final and win Champions League with Barca this season. He couldn't get enough playing time in Manchester City last season, this is a wise move for both sides. Barcelona game mentality suits him well. I'm already excited about Agüero-Messi duo, I hope Barcelona board will strength squad more and Barcelona become the main threat for all tournaments again.

i see it the same way as you - the Messi/Aguero pair will point fc barcelona in the right direction again
Aguero signed a two-years contract at the catalan

Quote
FC Barcelona have officially signed Sergio Agüero. The striker joins on a free transfer from Manchester City, where his contract was not renewed after ten years at the club. The Argentine signed a two-year contract at the Catalan-based club and has a €100 million exit clause. With a market value of €25 million, the forward is among the most valuable free transfers in history.

Donnarumma is rumored ready to receive a salary of 6 million euros at Juventus. Of course this is very surprising, because he has been offered a salary 8 million euros by Milan. Indeed, in the hands of Allegri, Juventus might be able to become Champion, this could be an appropriate salary for Donnarumma if he could feel to become a player that get Serie-A title.

Joao Mario has clear ideas, and Sporting Lisbon also. To the advantage of Inter, which is ready to get money from this situation. In Portugal they are sure: the midfielder born in 1993, on loan from the Nerazzurri to Sporting, has given a mandate to his agents not to listen to proposals from other clubs, having the firm determination of wanting to stay at the Leoes, but this time on a permanent basis. Also Inter has already been informed that it is not worth listening to proposals from other clubs, as the midfielder's will is clear.
Contract duration should be until 2024, at €2.5m per season.

Yes, it does look that way. Barca improve the team, and bring in a friend... if Messi was unsure whether to stay or not, this surely settles things down.
Personally as I posted earlier, I thought he was likely to stay anyway... but this should make it almost certain.

Barcelona that sent Luis Suarez off the team because he was too old. But Sergio Aguero is also 33 years old. If they hadn't sent Luis Suarez, they might have been Champion this year.

Selling Suarez was a stupid decision, yes. I'm not sure it was really because he was too old, just that they wanted to have a clear out after the Bayern debacle, and Suarez, although not too old, was probably old enough to get rid of, and save some money from the wage bill. I would think given Atletico's league win this year, that Barca have now learned their lesson... don't sell your best players, and especially not to a rival!

I see this move more of linking Messi to his fellow country man Aguero and possibly a way to keep Messi for longer at Barcelona other than him leaving, hope this dual works out.

Btw Does this move confirm another striker is scheduled to move to Manchester city because these guys are in desperate need for one,  maybe halaad is coming.

Barcelona made a very good transfer. Sergio Kun Aguero will strengthen the forward line a lot. However, there is a situation. Well it was an open position after Zerbi left for Shakhtar Donetsk manager job and there is a popular figure free right now. Good move from Sassuolo and good chance for Porlo again to start from the basics and gain good managerial experience. Still I think he could be offered to become manager by some better club. It's not only Sassuolo that has kept an eye on. Remeber there are lot of clubs who have recently sacked their managers.

That is true what you say, this is not just a big club when starting a career. In fact, if Pirlo is able to change a team from mid-table to qualify for the UCL in a few seasons, it can be said that Pirlo has become a successful coach, because then he will find it easier to build a top team that has many star players.

Jota and Mane have been great player for Liverpool and less chance for Countinho back to Liverpool, but he will try with other primer league team like with Arsenal maybe still looking new player, and most close chance to play with Everton but depend with Coutinho will play with Everton or not.

Barcelona 'offer' Coutinho to Liverpool

Reports in Spain claimed Barcelona have offered Liverpool the opportunity to re-sign Philippe Coutinho.

Source https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/liverpool-transfer-news-rumours-live-20705817

It wouldn't be a bad idea to see the lad play for the reds after seeing Liverpool struggle for most of the season despite having to finish strongly to secure 3rd spot.

In other news Ronaldo rumored to be going back to Manchester united well this is just one for the tabloids I don't see this happening.

Poor kid.  Barca pressured the poor guy...  He was told he should sign with them that year because the ‘opportunity won’t be there if he refuses’ when he asked Barca to give him one more year at LFC.  Now they want to spit him out and throw him back.  I’m not sure if he’s wanted at LFC.

I kinda want City to pursue a Messi acquisition now.  Grin  Should be interesting if it happens.

I think he'll stay at Barca... remember he has been there since he was 13 years old! They want him to stay, too. It would take something extraordinary for him to leave.

I know there was the crisis at the end of last season, but they have a new man in charge now and the team seems to be turning things around a bit. Perhaps he will leave at some point, when he gets older and starts to decline maybe he'll go to the US or some other less competitive league for a couple of seasons... but while he's a world-class player, I think he'll remain at Barca.
from  what I'm hearing is that Messi will renew for two more years then joins MLS for two more years atleast before retiring and coming back to Barcelona as an ambassador,
Not sure that even if this comes through its just a temporary fix for Barcelona.
They need to find other solutions, signing a player that is going to be the main star after Messi is going to be difficult task, they are better off making a good team other then building a team around just one man,
