Cats on Mars
been a while since i visited this thread, here's a few transfer news/rumours:

- Adam Llalana (Liverpool) to Brighton almost done deal (source)

- Real Madrid looking to sell over 10 players in next transfer window (source)

- Inter keen on Emerson (Chelsea) (source)

Last but not least, Paddypower have Thiago Alcantara (Bayern) to Liverpool at 1/4 odds while Skybet have it at 3/5 odds...If those odds are anything to go by, something must be going on behind the scenes

Transfer Market rumours:
According to Sport, Barcelona are looking to tie Ansu Fati down to a first-team contract. Barcelona is obviously seriously counting on him in the future.
James Rodriguez is looking to the future and is looking for a new club. Is that Porto?
Arsenal are confident of signing Willian when he becomes a free agent.
Le Parisien have reported that Neymar is close to announcing that he'll stay at least another year with PSG. Barcelona gave up already?

According to insiders Sarri is out he has been sacked before lockdown and that's is why players are not following him.

The news according to them is still an "inside thing" till the end of the season.

To be honest, if i were juventus, I would sack sarri as well, his poor tactical approach  to matches and ridiculous changes to lineup especially in the midfield is why juventus is yet to wrap up the scudetto trophy this season. A very important system to win matches involves a consistent back 4 and prominent midfield players, sarri flops this aspects alot with ridiculous and questionable line up changes for each match.

His too below par to coach juventus to what they desire to win

I dunno why anybody would consider sacking Sarri, they are set to be Serie A champions. They are only 1-0 down on aggregate in the CL with a 2nd leg to come against Lyon. I don’t know what his objectives are (given by the club).

It looks like Manchester United is interested in signing Kingsley Coman from FC Bayern München. Their main target still seems to be Jadon Sancho, but they can also imagine signing the French winger. Nevertheless a transfer is pretty unlikely in my opinion. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently made clear, that a transfer of Kingsley Coman won't happen this summer.

Manchester United are interested in signing Kingsley Coman and have held talks about the French winger joining the club.

United’s prime target for a wide forward player is Jadon Sancho. The Englishman remains in their thoughts but United don’t limit their transfer options in any position to one player; Coman, like Sancho, has been watched extensively.

Man United have discussed the idea of permanent or loan move for Coman. The Frenchman is keen to join compatriots Pogba & Martial at Old Trafford

And it seems like Manchester United is looking for an alternative to the signing of Sancho. Apparently they are in talks with Kingley Coman from Bayern Munich. I don't really think Bayern will let Coman go. They have Sane, Gnabry and Coman as wingers. Perisic is only on loan and there are also rumors with him and Man United. So they need Coman at least as a substitute. I don't think Bayern is really planning with Oliver Batista Meier and Leon Dajaku. These two are maybe candidates for a loan?

transfermarkt now also writes about manu's interest in K. Coman in case the deal with J. Sancho does not come off

I looking intrested forward what the player Jude Bellingham will bring in Dortmund for 11 Mio.

I guess that all and the most Teams in every League will have some financial crisis at the moment .
Lots of money are missed from the empty Stadions they have played.
So the old and not so good players get sold to afford the good players i guess.

Dortmund paid around 23 million Euro for Bellingham iirc. 11 million would have been a steal.

It is not really the best time to sell Grin
Big cleanouts during this season might really affect teams later on. Selling in current conditions will not bring a lot of money - prices and demand for players fell drastically.

If Barcelona sells a lot of players that are not superstars, they will drastically reduce their rotation options and money they will get will not be enough to replace them.

Barcelona needs to reform the whole team.
The rotation that currently exists in the team didn't help if you see the outcome of this season.
It is better to sell players and buy new that will be more passionate to achieve goals with the team.

Niko Kovac, the new coach of Monaco, wants to bring 2 Croatian players,  Mandjukic and Perisic,  to the club according to this news: https://www.index.hr/mobile/clanak.aspx?category=sport&id=2200159

What do you think?
Can these players really help Monaco or it's more help to them
and their careers that are in decline?

They’re both in the twilight of their careers but maybe it’ll be helpful to have two players of his nationality as he joins the club as manager. It won’t be a long term fix but sometimes players with huge experience can help a squad develop.

Yeah, I think it's always a risk if you build your season around experienced players, BUT it highly depends on how exactly you want to use that resource. They can be a huge boost in terms of training and mentality, just lending their confidence and experience to younger guys. But to actually use them as a fulcrum on the field, I think it never works unless you have generally a whole squad who never won anything before.

It seems that a market has just opened in Barcelona and a big sale of players is starting  Grin Grin
Barcelona is preparing to offer for sale these 12 players: Neto, Nelson Semedo, Samuel Umtiti, Junior Firpo, Ivan Rakitic, Arturo Vidal, Ousmane Dembele and Martin Braithwaite, plus the returning Carles Alena, Rafinha Alcantara, Jean-Clair Todibo and Philippe Coutinho.
A very good team could be formed from them  Cheesy
Still, I think they can hardly expect to sell all 12 players in the current situation when there is a financial crisis due to coronavirus and most clubs are struggling with finances.
It will be interesting to see how this big sale ends.

Based on the financial crisis, the possibility of Selling twelve players, although if several clubs indicates interest in most of those players, it can still be possible, although Barcelona first team would still be struggling in the elite league, based on the fact that the new players need to get use to the league patterns. I strongly believe that barcelona could not take such decision, it would no be possible bringing in new players just imagine coming into a league like Spanish laliga and start doing well as expected, it is impossible, it takes a club sometimes to blend together at the same time.

I think Madjukic probably lacks serious challenges and serious football leagues, which could motivate him.
When he is fully motivated and focused, then he is the most dangerous and born killer in front of the opponent's goal.
A return to a serious league, such as the French one, could revive his spirit and motivate him to show what he knows and can do.
Kovac certainly knows him well and knows very well what he can get from him.
Bayern will almost certainly not buy Perisic from Inter due to too high a salary, and the Inter coach doesn't want him either.
Given that, Monaco would also be the best career-saving option for him and with his experience he can certainly help the club.

I think that Mandzukic is done. He practically missed a whole season, got a few games in Qatar without even scoring a single goal and it's doubtful if his head is even in the game anymore.

French league is by far the weakest of the top 5 so he might have a few good games but it is a risk because his ego was bigger than his performances even when he was at his peak. Now performances have dropped, but ego remains. Will be fun to see if Kovac can work with him.

Perisic on the other hand would fit well in Monaco and in french league in general.

MarioMandzukic have done with Juventus after one years without get in Juventus team, I think will give bad reputation for his career if keep playing with Juventus, he has move to other club and guarantee with minute playing in the field. Maybe AS Monaco become good choose because there have good mielfilder Cesc Farbregas and become good team at the next season.

Mario Mandzukic is a free agent after he terminated his contract with Qatar's Al-Duhail. Fiorentina and the Turkish giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce showed the great interest in him. On the other hand, Perisic spent the season on loan at Bayern and they will certainly not buy his contract from Inter.
All in all, this could be a good move for Monaco.
