Everton have joined Chelsea, Leeds United, Tottenham, Barcelona and Inter Milan in wanting to sign Argentina striker Sergio Aguero, who will be available on a free transfer when he leaves Manchester City in the summer. I have to admit that I'm a bit surprised by such a great interest in Aguero, considering what he has shown this season.

You mean showing people he can still score in a game after being out for injury for a long period, like he has shown season after season? City can win games without strikers but at the end of the day if you are a team that doesn't have an all out striker, you are limited in tactics. Sterling is a great winger, but he can't carry the goal burden. You always need someone sharp with a killer instinct.

Manchester United will sell France midfielder Paul Pogba this summer if the 28-year-old does not commit to a new deal. Is that really possible, Pogba is finally leaving Manchester after all the saga around him in recent years?  Grin
Egypt forward Mohamed Salah says Liverpool have not spoken to him about extending his deal at the club, with the 28-year-old's current contract running until the summer of 2023. Is it Salah sending a subtle and calculated message to his club through the media and putting pressure on Liverpool to offer him a new contract?
Spain defender Sergio Ramos, 35, is still hoping for a two-year contract extension from Real Madrid, who have only offered him a one-year deal to follow the end of his current contract this summer. It seems to me that Ramos overestimated himself in these negotiations with Real and asked for too much and in the end he will be left with nothing.
Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo has responded to rumours about his future by saying he has spoken with the club's owners and is "not concerned when it comes to my work". Does anyone serious believe that Pirlo will remain a coach?

Mbappe to Real Madrid is the big transfer I want to see materialise. I think he is the perfect Galactico for Los Blancos to sign. He suits their whole ethos, would he a blockbuster signing. Kane & Haaland are the other two big pending stories this summer.

There is no way Real Madrid will take both of them.
Mbappè and Haaland, are both strikers, they are both expensive they both play in the same position ish.

They will take only one between Kane Mbappè and Haaland and is not sure yet.

It looks like Messi will stay in Barcelona and with his new contract Barcelona will have some free space for Haaland's transfer fee. I don't think Haaland will go to Real Madrid but he will pick Barcelona. It will be quite interesting to see Messi, Haaland and Griezmann playing together.
If Real Madrid get either Kane or Mbappe I'd choose Kane over Mbappe honestly, he's more efficient on the pitch and he can fit Real Madrid squad well. Both players are great though, if Real finalize one of these deals they will do a great job for next season.

Roma is close to get Sarri in they already had looked into Max Allegri before deciding on getting Sarri instead after the manager currently in charge Paulo Fonseca has clashed with senior team members throughout this season and according to sources from ESPN.
The deal between Maurizio Sarri and Roma reportedly had a verbal agreement for a deal and it is 80% done.
Liverpool could possibly looking to cash on Salah with at the end of the season the 28-year-old's current contract running until summer 2023 and there have been no talks in extanding his contract beyond that.

Be very good to see Sarri back in the manager's seat. That guy is good for football in my mind, old and veteran and yet simply quite progressive in terms of tactics, if you can get past the way he can clash with people. He was good for Chelsea, they just didn't know it.

Salah sales? Nah, he is too good a scorer to give up right now. Would love to see him at Barca though haha.

I just realized that Neymar's contract expires next year as well. I thought it was until 2023. That actually means PSG is a lot of trouble because of Mbappe as well - extending with both will be very difficult and it probably means they are losing one.

Of course PSG would rather lose Neymar, but he's more likely to sign and Mbappe can generate a lot more money.

It is actually difficult for PSG with both of their stars near to contract expiration but I think they will be able to get them to sign new contract somehow. They both are reported to be happy. For Neymar I don't think he has any plans to switch but for Mbappe he is still young and have lot of years to play so why not switch to some better club. There is still an year left on their contracts and anything could happen.

Add Di Maria to the mix as well - and it's very likely that their front line will look very different soon. One more reason for them to try for Aguero - he could be a great shortterm solution.

Di Maria is getting old but still is a good player. They could extend his contract for a year but don't think would be more than that. Aguero could be interesting choice. PSG do have Icardi but they still need an experience player to lead down their attack and I think Aguero is still one of the best out there. Why not sign him at good price and try out?

Anyway, it's really going to be an interesting summer.

Oh, definitely..With all the contracts expiration of players, we are gonna see some crazy transfers. Hopefully we will have some shocking ones and some big ones as well.

Definitely. Real Madrid will buy only one striker, it is enough. Those strikers are expensive, Real Madrid won't have enough money to buy more than one striker. Real Madrid also still has Benzema, I am not sure if Real Madrid will put Benzema on the transfer list after his best performance during this season. So, it just wastes money if Real Madrid signs or buys 2 strikers.

If I were in Real Madrid's shoes, I would definitely go for Mbappe instead of Haaland or Kane. Because I believe that Mbappe could contribute much more than them to the team. We see that how much big role he is playing at PSG now. Of course, Haaland and Kane have a superb performance too. But Mbappe is really at another level now.  Grin

I'd go as far to say as that you can't even really guarantee "old" players will bring the results desired. I'm a huge fan of Suarez, and I thought Barca were wrong to do what they did to him, so happy he found a good club at Atletico. Also happy Chicarito (don't like United but can't fault good guys like them) still can punch above his weight in MLS but even gold star players like Zlatan didn't always work out. Robbie Fowler didn't really work out on his return to Liverpool, for example.

So I still say, and I know this is naive, that you should never spend a lot of money, regardless of age. Markets can sometimes force your hand but it usually evens out (buying VVD at sky high prices after selling Coutinho for even more crazy prices, for example). Hoping my club continues their strategy of buying. We got a good player in Jota, we didn't really get good ones in between (I did think Minamino needed time though) but we just have to keep at it. Keep the gems and offload the rest.

True true and I was the first to condemn the way my club treated Suarez. I know you are a Liverpool supporter so I guess even you remember what Suarez did for your club despite all the scandals he did and I think it was his experience there that tamed him and made him a much better behaved player after that;)

Also regret the role we played in inflating market prices with the Coutinho buy. MAde even more painful that we had to pay YOU millions in bonus when he won UCL with Bayern Munich ah the days.

Some more Erling Haaland news: FC Bayern is interested in signing him next season, when the release clause kicks in.

Bayern are observing the situation of Erling Håland. Nobody from the club wants to speak about it because it's a very delicate topic, but they will see what happens next year when the release clause kicks in. Håland could become the first major deal under Nagelsmann [@Plettigoal]

Source: https://twitter.com/iMiaSanMia/status/1388128375525490694
I have always said that it would be perfect for Bayern to get him, put him at the striker position and they are a rich team so they can definitely pay for him as well, so it would be striker position all set for 10 years guaranteed. Any team that would get Haaland would be lucky, but Bayern is one of the elite teams in all of world football, definitely a top 10 team and a case could be made for top 5 according to some people.

However I always asked what are they planning on doing with Lewa? Is he retiring? Because if he is not retiring you are talking about one of the greatest scorers in the world being bench? Or someone that worths 100+ million being benched? Or do you mean you will create a tactic with 2 strikers? These are all difficult stuff, Lewa and Haaland working together looks to be tough, if they can figure that out, Bayern should definitely get him no matter what the cost is.

There is still question mark over Neymar signing a new contract so these are all side rumours that comes up popping when players have near to an year left with their respective current clubs. I don't think Barcelona's financial position has improved so them finalizing Neymar move seems miles away to me. Furthermore there are reports that he is close to sign new contract though no certainty yet.

This has be a rumour for the longest time , isn't time to accept that this move won't happen, maybe Barca is hinting to say Neymar isn't happy to be in France, hence the continued rumours??

Barcelona have made contact with Paris St-Germain over a potential move to bring Brazil forward Neymar, 29, back to the Nou Camp. I thought that story was already over given the great financial crisis of Barcelona.
In my opinion, if Barcelona brings back Neymar to the Camp Nou, Messi will prolly not leave, for now it's still uncertain the direction Messi will take, either to leave or to stay, but after the duo (Messi and Neymar), had a stellar time together in Barca, including Suarez (MSN), making them one of the deadliest trio to have played together in world football, I believe Neymar's return could possibly be enough to convince Lionel to finish his career at Barcelona.
Chelsea are set to challenge Barcelona for the signing of Adrien Rabiot from Juventus this summer, with the France midfielder, 26, available for £17m.
With a price tag of £17m, I think the French man is pretty much affordable, and many clubs, not just this two (Chelsea and Barca), will be interested, imo, Rabiot will be better suited in Barcelona, his style of play is similar to what's played in Spain, the EPL could prove to be too physical for him.

Transfer rumours:

Manchester City are willing to sell England forward Raheem Sterling, this summer to help finance potential moves for Borussia Dortmund's Haaland
Haaland must be the most wanted man today.
Real Madrid wants to see him too, Manchester City as outlined above and not forgetting Barcelona (*** with Messi as top man I don't see this move happening***)

Should Haaland be signed I think he will be the most expensive player should this deal happen!

Sterling's form did drop but he's still a great player and more importantly for City - he's English. I'm not saying he's untouchable, but I feel there are many other players they'd sell before him.

Not many players can generate 100 mil euros, he can, but I'm still not buying it. If they go for Grealish, Villa will demand a lot of money because he's English too, so not much would be left for Haaland.

I'm not even sure who can afford Sterling. United can but City would never sell to them, Real's priority is Mbappe, not many clubs can give you 100 mil. euros for 1 player and most of them will have other interests this summer.

Transfer rumours:

Manchester City are willing to sell England forward Raheem Sterling, this summer to help finance potential moves for Borussia Dortmund's Haaland and Aston Villa's England midfielder Jack Grealish. Manchester Citys are once again preparing for a big shopping this summer  Grin The question is can they bring Haaland?

This might be really huge for them if they succeed in making such transfers. However, Sterling is still a very valuable player for them in terms of market value (€100m) and performance both. But I must admit that he was much better last season. But he is still young also. Jack Grealish would be a really great transfer but Sterling could be an important loss for them at the same time.

When it comes to Haaland, there is a big question mark for the probability of his coming to City. Because many big clubs are making an effort to sign him. But I'd really be happy to see him at City.

Raiola released an Interview a few hours ago saying
"Real Madrid can buy Haaland this summer".

I don't know how they can have 150m € this summer with Covid but it is what it is.
