Inter is literally fighting Juventus in Serie A and anyone who follows Serie A would know that going against Juventus has always been difficult, they have historically been a great team but they are also the last 8 champions going for their 9th I think so they have insane amount of money and whenever there is a new player that looks like could be good Juventus just pays whatever and gets it, so it is very difficult to beat them, Inter is really trying their best to do it.

Eriksen could definitely 3x his money easily if he could just go to Inter and they end up champions this year, that would really make him an exceptionally expensive player in the whole world. I am not saying that will happen but it looks like that is at the possibility level for now (both for inter and Eriksen).

Real seems to have a deal with Van De Beek...

So in the end for Pogba remains Juve Inter? Barcellona.

https://www.goal.com/it/notizie/real-madrid-van-de-beek-pronti-55-milioni-giugno/1vhwrdc44cwop1thp4ksbco7g8

Van de Beek should have been transferred to a bigger club since the start of the season.
Hopefully he managed to do so in the mid season and hit a good deal for him but for Ajax as well.
Fresh players always a good chance to improve Real Madrid's play style.

I'm sad that Real didn't get to sign any Ajax players.
Should they bring at least Dusan Tadic or Ziyech
Now that I see how big the clubs have ruined Ajax with their purchases, Ajax has done it to make new stars, we will see how far it will go.

This is the most profitable operations of Ajax for so many years.
Just remember that Suarez followed same route. How many years have passed till then? Still Ajax makes money from selling young talents to big clubs.
But now Ajax has a direct connection to big football clubs, and has shown the world what talents they have.
Suarez first went to Liverpool, while now Ajax is sending directly to the biggest clubs.
Ajax, in addition to Livepool, has had the biggest progress in recent years, which I like. While the terror of Real was extinguished, with the departure of CR7.

This is the second time that I see Inter Milan spending a lot of money when it comes to player acquisition and the first time I can recall so when Jose Mourinho was manager and if Antonio Conte is ready to spend then he should be ready to replicate the form that Mourinho produced during his tenure.

They have around 400 million as Income.

150 million in negative spent on players, over 200 million in salaries for players and coach... How this is possible let see what will happen but if they also buy Giroud, Eriksen, Young...  Roll Eyes

I have still some doubts about what Inter can do on market, I mean they won nothing for 8 years and now they can spend whatever they want even if they went of the financial fair play 2 years ago.

This is for this summer session

Now if they take Eriksen they will go over -150m €.

Bah.

Eriksen is very close to Inter according to "LaGazzettaDelloSport"

5 years for 7.5m €/year.

Meh he could get a better deal if this what will happen

https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/Inter/11-01-2020/eriksen-inter-c-l-accordo-ora-si-tratta-il-tottenham-36014987452.shtml

He’s a good player, I think he could join a better team than Inter but hey, what do I know.

Inter is one of the best teams in Europe right now.
It would be a great step if he joins them. He is a player that fits their playstyle and he might bring a lot of experience in the team.

Inter are not really one of the best team in europe, perhaps a leading force and a very strong team in Italy Serie A.
The struggles of inter in the champions league is to proof that they are far from the best.

And such reasons is why players like eriksen, young, and  giroud interest them, to provide the proper squad depths.

Vidal seems locked on Barcelona with the new coach, maybe he promised more space for Arturo.
Eriksen should be white smoke this week, maybe tomorrow according to rumors.

Giroud too, this week should join Inter.

I do not think so, Pogba is a player that definitely interest real madrid.
If we consider Isco form this season, and facts such as modric leaving by the end of the season.

Real madrid still need a deep lying midfielder in pogba, and the creative sparks he brings to any team.

Inter cannot afford pogba, so its definitely between REAL, BARCELONA AND JUVENTUS

I've been seeing multiple reports both in Italy and in Croatia that Dani Olmo's likely destination is AC Milan. His return to Barcelona was cut off when the team pulled out of any negotiations only leaving  AC Milan and Chelsea as the strongest suitors for the player. Only advantage of Milan right now against Chelsea is they have tried to get him since the last transfer window but they still kept tabs with him showing that the team is very interested in him. If he really wants to prove something in European football I think he should prefer going to Milan rather than teaming up with an already strong Chelsea team.

One of the interesting transfers for January is Christian Eriksen. Where he was rumored to be anchored to Real Madrid. But there is speculation he will also go to series A. How, does anyone have more accurate information? or maybe Jose Mourinho has managed to persuade him to stay at Spurs.

I don’t think he’ll stay with Spurs, Eriksen will leave but I was thinking it would not be until summer when he wilo be a free agent.
Yes Because if he leaves in August then the club won't get anything. I read that several clubs seemed to be in negotiations with Spurs. Maybe it's just a matter of price being negotiated. It was a pity that Ericksen decided to leave Spurs. Maybe he missed the title because he had never felt at Spurs

It was really surprising news for me Ericson will join in Inter Milan, I thought He is ready to play under Zidane at Real Madrid, But why thing can't happen, who knows? by joining Ericson to Inter Milan, that team would get a strong midfielder which helps them to fight their opponent, If he could join in Real Madrid I would be happier than seeing him going to Italy, he is one of the potential attacking midfielders at this moment, don't know why Zidane hasn't been interested in Ericson, but one thing is good that Italian league is getting again stronger than the last decade. All the best Ericson to the Black and Blue.

According to the spanish media, Quique Setien is the next Cruyff + Guardiola and Barcelona FC will go back to the good ol days of tiki taka and win 6 titles a year, or maybe even more!! maybe they'll be so good that they'll win titles outside of spain  Shocked

i'm telling you man, Barcelona FC and its marketing team are some of the best in europe...not too long ago, Ansu Fati was supposed to be the next Messi/Maradona and the Ballon D Or winner for the next 5 years, now the new manager is 'The Chosen One' by the gods of football when literally a week ago no one on the planet gave a flying f#ck about Quique Setien.

But the marketing team need to do that because they need to hide the fact that a bunch of world-class managers said NO to the Barca job like Poch, Te Haag, Koeman, Roberto Martinez, etc...Even Xavi said no LOL embarrasing...But to answer your main question: No, the replacement isn't any better than Valverde.

It's nothing strange that news media is making such stories. They need to create such nice stories which would attract lot of clicks. Same about young players who had few great matches - they call them new Messi, Ronaldo and similar. They are just creating hype out of nowhere.
Most of managers who rejected this offer had strong and understandable reasons. So, Barca didn't had many options currently.
Setien was compared with Guardiola because his team style was a bit similar like in Pep era in Barcelona. It's difficult to say will he achieve something significant or fail completely. But I think you can't say that he isn't better than Valverde when didn't had single official game in Barcelona. Personally, I see him only as short term cosch until end of this season.

@LTU_btc this is indeed clever marketing by their PR team to pacify the fans, and now they’ll begin negotiations with other coaches to take over the job in summer when the season ends. It’s very difficult to say whether he’ll be better or worse than Valverde because we haven’t seen how he’s going to use this Barcelona team, and most importantly what kind of reaction will they show under his guidance.

No, the replacement isn't any better than Valverde.
I disagree with this point. I've been a fan of Barcelona for a very long time and I never liked the appointment of Valverde and didn't still even after he won two league titles. And almost went unbeaten throughout an entire campaign. He was defeated tactically on a number of big occasions and this cost Barcelona in consecutive European competitions.

Setién may not be good on paper, but I would pick him over a number of options on the list of coaches that rejected the Barcelona job.

In their position playing Real Madrid already has a lot of players too. If in my opinion Real Madrid need to buy a defender to become a replacement for Sergio Ramos. Madrid must prepare it from now because Ramos has entered the end of his career. If Demiral is not injured in Juventus, maybe Madrid can try to offer De lights. I'm not really following the development of Ajax, do they have other young defenders?

^  Is the replacement any better tho?  I'm seriously asking...

Hmm, i think this will be done deal now but he'll stay in Ajax until the end of the season, unless we sell 'fat boy Isco'. A waste of money if you ask me, Odegaard is 10x better than Van De Beek, we could just bring him back from loan without paying tons of money.
