Obviously I will never agree with the managers and scouts, rather I would say that Rakitic is more expensive than Bernardeschi. Rakitic is the type of player who deserves to go down in history and not be forgotten along with Modric.
Rakitic is not a "great" player, he was good for Barcelona for some seasons, quite a talented player but not so good as to "go down in history". This will be a good deal for Barcelona, Rakitic is not as expensive as you feel when you check how old he is and the number of playing time he gets, then they'll be getting a good deal swapping him for a younger player who has many years of football ahead of him.

Absolutely true. He was good just for the first time that he joined Barcelona and he was in top form.
Then he got benched and never came back to match performance.
He is a mediocre player that has nothing more to offer to Barca anymore.

Well,  I don’t think really that you can say that Rakitic is a mediocre player.
All players in Barcelona are very good and Messi is extraordinary, of course.
Just,  as every player,  Rakitic have good and bad points.
He is slow player and feel better if he play behind.
Also, he is not young any more and it's natural that Barcelona wants to replace him but he played many great matches for Barcelona in the past and we should respect him.
He gave a lot to Barcelona and helped them to achieve great results in the last 4-5 years.
Now is time for new and young, promising players but everybody should respect Rakitic to, for his contribution and everything he did.

Greek news are stating that Portuguese winger Podence from Olympiacos will leave Piraeus and transfer to Wolves for approx. 30 million Euros. Olympiacos hasnt officially confirmed anything yet - interesting if you ask me because as much as I "hate" Olympiacos, I really like this player and always thought he was made for more than just pathetic Greek Super Leage. @coinlocket$ you’re absolutely correct it’s because of his commercial value that Manchester United is not keen to sell him, despite the fact that he has only played 8 times in this season.

Yea, the more fans they have, the more money they will earn from and FOR sponsors, so Imagine to have PP as an ADIDAS image player on an ADIDAS team like Real or Juventus.

The only chart I've found is this one from 2018, now they have even more followers.

For example, Ronaldo for a message on Instagram receives around 750.000 €.

For those players, you are "happy" to pay a big fee since the return will be huge.
For a team it is better to pay Pogba 150m €, than Kane 150m € even if Kane probably is more important.

I’m not sure why Pogba is still attracting interest from the biggest clubs, it’s 2020 not 2015.

This question can be answered with 2 answers.

1 Skill, whatever fans will say (cause the majority are sheep and follow media who create flame to sell more copies or get more clicks so they make more money form ads) he is still one of the best in the world on his role even if he plays with the intent of leaving, imagine what he will do in a team where he really wants to play

2 Marketing, he is one of the top players in the world with followers on social media and he is an "Adidas" promoter with "Messi", so I can imagine a team like Real or Juve pushing for him cause they wear Adidas and they will get more money from them as sponsor.

Yup, he still has a few good years ahead of him, tho his stock slightly plummetted as of late prolly cos of a mix of a bad career decision and his ego.  He could've done better at United (even with the club's current rut) if he just put his head down and worked hard.  IMHO.

@DeathAngle at times I too have wondered why did Manchester United pay so much for him because he plays so bad, and then there were matches where he played at his best and I told myself we got him at a cheap price. Also Pogba is one of the best players in the world, and you’ll see him fully unleashed once he seals his transfer to Real Madrid. @coinlocket$ you’re absolutely correct it’s because of his commercial value that Manchester United is not keen to sell him, despite the fact that he has only played 8 times in this season.

But somehow he is good for Barca because his style of play is similar to Barca's, he may be mediocre players but he has helped Barca a lot.
But when they compare his game for the national team and Barca, they are two separate sides. He will remain Barca's player worth mentioning, though he has nothing else to do in Braca.

I think part of it has to go with the how other players should form chemistry with Messi. Passes have to be perfect...plays have to be perfect so on...
There were times when Messi got frustrated with the kind of ball he played to him. Rakitic is a good player no doubt but with the play level that Barcelona once had I think @Coyster is right here about Rakitic far out from being in Barcelona's history book.

In Turin, Juventus is expecting an offer for the final transfer of Emre can to the Dortmund for today afternoon.
The offer could vary from 20 to 35 million depending on where the rumors are coming.
The offer price is low as the player was currently excluded from the future project by the coach Sarri.

Many are talking about it here, among the many Agresti.

Of course, this will the first offer and can be refused, the probable value of the player is around 40 million on normal conditions.

A small thing but it can be a sign of the rumors in the past days.
Bernardeschi today removed his profile photos with the Juventus shirt...

The rumor was

Rakitic+25m <-> Bernardeschi.

For sure if it will be a deal done, he will do great on Spain, the need spaces and on the Liga, there are a lot where he can run.

If we go through history books, then i suggest that Juventus bid for Rakitic was exagerrated
Juventus indeed love old experienced players, and add it to their squad, but they only get old midfielders on free transfers.

Juventus is also know for getting young players for nothing or cheap. So the bid was rakitic is thus unrealistic in a juventus squad that Can struggles to start

Considering that they are top European rivals I don't think Juventus would like to swap their young star on a 31 yo that is losing his market value quickly even if you add in 25 million Euros, that money alone won't be enough to replace the talent Bernardeschi have for the team. They would be better off selling him at full price or considering other players in Barca to swap with rather than taking this current deal. And yes like I mentioned they'll just be making their rivals much stronger compared to them which I don't they will like especially if they face in the Champions League again.

Cavani wants to leave PSG according to Leonardo

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1219036897760157696
This probably means Icardi will be taken by PSG, the price was 75M €.

According to some rumors this evening on the game between Juve and Parma some Spurs "observers" were in Turin.

So bad choice from Cavani to join PSG.
French league cannot give a lot of experience and provide popularity to the football players.
He was in a good level when he was a member of Napoli. I hope he is going to join a club in Premier League or La Liga at least.
Wrong.
He has written his own history at the club by being all time top scorer for PSG , he has scored 198 goals in all competitions and 136 of them in ligue 1. Not a bad move at all.

198 goals in 6 competitions and 136 of them in Ligue 1.
So this is about 63 for all other competitions... I wonder what is the time period of this statistic. In the domestic league PSG is undoubtedly a dominant team. Scoring so leas goals in other competitions means that they couldn't do anything in European trophies.

2 Marketing,
I think he's still priced that much for this above than for his "football", if Pogba is to be bought based on his performances in the last 12 months then I don't think he'll cost even close to the much this top clubs are willing to pay out for him.

But another thing to understand is that he's young and talented, not playing his best football now, but that can change under the right condition, better manager, better team, better working condition and so much more. It's worth taking the risk with him, he can be the "world best" on his own day.

I think he needs more motivation and to work on his psyche, He's not even like Ronald. If he thinks he wins the 2018 World Cup, it doesn't mean he has to stop, he needs to find a motive that will keep him playing better and better, maybe Dybala and the team will make him return to his game.

You have just been ignorant for the last 12 months and it doesn't have to be worth much, but they do include a lot of factors when it comes to buying quality gadgets.

He actually has the potential to be one of the greatest midfielders in football history with his skills and talents but his attitude is what I don't think will benefit him in the long run. He should be a matured player than the likes of Rashford but people tend to see him as being unreliable with his behavior. He needs to grow up or will end up achieving nothing individually as a player and am talking about winning Ballon d'Or or something like that.
