^  Hmmm...  What does that mean for Antoine Griezmann?  It looks like it's gonna cut Barca's odds at the CL if the transfer does happen.
Not much, I mean, Barcelona didn't spend €120M to have him on the bench...right? If the Neymar deal goes through, I believe the lineup will be something like:

        --Suarez--
Neymar-Messi-Griezmann

(that's a scary lineup)With Dembelé as the main sub rotating one of them every week.

Lol...  Only an idiot would think Griezmann wouldn't be played.  But what does Barca getting Neymar mean for him?  Right wing?  What was he used as during friendlies?

That means Barcelona is heading for another "fantastic four" era ? It is to be seen if Messi will play behind Suarez and Griezmann on the right or vice versa. I'll be expecting Valverde to deploy a 4-2-1-3 or 4-2-3-1 formation, but either ways, I think Barcelona possession game could reduce a bit, and it's probably going to be a more attack-minded approach.

That line up looks frightening at first glance but who will help the defense? That is perfect line up for breaking scared opponents but someone like Atletico Madrid, a team which can defend and be dangerous on counter attacks would tear them apart. There is way to much finesse in that team and way too little real fighters.

Edit:  And what are the chances Juve gets Pogba?
Some bookies (bet365, skybet) no longer have Pogba on their sites, some others have Pogba to Juve @2.58 and above.

@coinlocket$ probably has more info about this transfer saga, but IMO I think Pogba will stay in Manchester, why would Ed Woodward and Solskjaer want to sell Pogba now that the transfer window is closed? They'd have to pretty damn stupid to weaken the squad by selling him :/

And on Pogba, heh...  It would sure be dumb keeping a highly paid but unhappy player downing tools too.

Spot on. It will be a huge loss if they sell Pogba, especially with Lukaku already gone.

They'll need Pogba if they want to stay competitive and get a Champions League spot for next year. It would be a blunder if they weaken their attacking power after they tried to fix their defensive side.

Perisic (Inter) is also on Bayern wishlist.

According to our (Croatian) media this is already a done deal. It is just a matter of time before it is publicly announced.
And Bayern just made it official: https://twitter.com/FCBayern/status/1161200610689081344

Good signing for them, they have way too many youngters, about time they signed someone with experience.

Today could be the day for Neymar to Barca.

Rumors tells that Barca managers will be @Paris today to talk with PSG.

Guy in the picture is definitely Eric Abidal (Barcelona's director of football), look at his head lol  Grin

Btw, Neymar to Barcelona /odds/ @1.38...I think it's happening! And Coutinho (part of the swap deal + cash) to PSG /odds/ @2.50  Shocked

Bayern are in a bit of a transitional stage atm, a lot of their best players are old & past their peak. They’ll still do well in Germany because the other teams apart from Dortmund are much lower quality but they will struggle in the CL.

Bayern will be back, they’re too big not to be but I don’t think they’ll go far in the CL.

I agree. Bayern has made its cycle with the current players.
If they need to target high goals such as Champions League they need to sign new talents for their first team.
Also some experienced players would be vital. Bale would be a good addition but this transfer is only in rumors stage.

Since they had bud luck with Sane obviously Perisic is now good plan B candidate and can help Bayern.

Quote
"You cannot talk about solution B, C or X and I think we will have have to ask ourselves if what is happening here recently is correct. I think this is not the point, every player deserves the respect. Stefan Effenberg arrived at Bayern when he was 30 and won the Champions League. We must move away from the age issue, we must look at what the players can give us in the future.”

The only logic is to save money for a TOP player, let's see if they can have Pogba or Neymar or another 100+ Player.

Also depending on if the players wanted to leave, Juventus never keep players if they want to leave. If a team give a good offer and the players want to leave they sell him.
Yes I know that and it makes sense. But unless something changes Juventus will enter the season with two natural wing backs. Two will always have to play and one will be benched. There will be moments in the season where at least one or both of them are injured. De Sciglio is very injury prone. I expect that to continue. I don't know much about Danilo to comment on him. But Juventus will find themselves in situations where 2 wing backs can become unavailable and they will have to fill that position somehow. There is Cuadrado as well but he can't be taken seriously as a defender + he is as injury prone as De Sciglio if not more.

Some  ongoing transfer sagas (including odds)

Neymar: rumours from Spain say that Ney prefers Barcelona and, apparently, both the player and the club have agreed to announce the signing on the 20th this month. Seems like PSG and Real Madrid could't reach an agreement.

Pretty sure this saga will keep going on for a few days. If Real Madrid hadn't bought Hazard, then i would be 100% sure that he would be headed there.

Apart from making sure Barcelona don't buy him again, i don't think a Neymar purchase is really necessary at the moment.

Right now Real Madrid Need I direct Center forward who is also sharp in front of goal. Someone like Lewandowski. Someone who can give Benzema pressure to perform. If you note Benzama's style of play at times likes playing wide living the forward area blank (Probably got used to it in the Presence of Ronaldo back then)

Coutinho. Bayern Munich are keen on the player, deal could be completed in the upcoming days (2-year loan with option to buy)[1]. Perisic (Inter) is also on Bayern wishlist.
Perisic would be a perfect replacement for Ribery or atleast close to it IMO. He loves the left wing so much and can also bring in the lovely Crosses to the box whereas Coutinho prefers cutting back to the middle. He rarely goes very wide.

Lawyer Neymar Appears at Camp Nou, Comeback to Barcelona Getting Closer.

Neymar's rumors to Barcelona flared up again after lawyer Juan de Dios Crespo was seen entering the Camp Nou on Monday (12/08/2019). He was seen accompanied by Barcelona talent guide Ariedo Braida

Here we go again! Project Neymar unfolding again, Barcelona will not be able to sanction deal with Coutinho and Co.  still on the payroll and PSG will definitely not let deal slip without making as much as they could.

That's why Barcelona might trade in one or two players (it's likely going to be Coutinho and/or another player) to be able to bring Neymar back. I don't agree with them bringing him back (injury concerns) but it's better to have him at Barca than to loose him to an opponent like Real Madrid.

Rumours doing the rounds that Lovren is attracting interest from Italy, Roma & AC Milan are being linked. VVD, Matip & Gomez are ahead of him at LFC now so it could be a possibility he’s allowed to leave.

Neymar ~ odds: Barcelona @1.58 / Real Madrid @3.00

Coutinho. Bayern Munich are keen on the player, deal could be completed in the upcoming days (2-year loan with option to buy)[1]. Perisic (Inter) is also on Bayern wishlist.

Coutinho ~ odds: Bayern Munich @2.00.

Dyabala. PSG are keen on the argentinian, they feel he can be Neymar's replacement. The french club have offered Dyabala a 5-year contract and 12M/year[2]. Juve also have the option to accept Inter's offer (swap deal Icardi-Dybala).

Dybala ~ odds: PSG @3.00 / Inter @3.50

Neymar transfer deal to Barca could happen because the player mind and soul is already in Nou Camp. On the other hand, PSG will definitely someone like Dyabala as Neymar replacement while Bayern need a player would hold onto the spot left by Rubben and this makes me believe the rumor transfer deal could the truth but lets wait and see

Well considering what is happening at the transfers market at the moment I dont expect to see any changes until winter transfer window. So far there were several rumors for certain players but evidently clubs stopped or cancel transfers in last minute like with Bale transfer from RM into China.
