Why a lower salary?
How much Pogba takes in ManU? 15 year?
In Italy, with the new tax law, Juventus will pay only 15+25% = 20m /year.
It is not big if you think at Higuain and Khedira (with the old law) they cost 15m/year and 13m/year...
The salary is a smaller problem here.
you may be right, but I think the reality is different if it is not a burden to them, why did they ask from players to give up parts of earnings to help the club to pass through more easily Covid19 period.
For example, Ronaldo's salary is a very serious expense for Juve. Also as far as I remember, they had to hire a third (sponsor) party to pay for Cristiano.
it is well known that PL clubs much richer than the others and these cannot match them in the amount of payments.
I think it's high time Paul Pogba left Manchester united he needs to go to a team where he will be much appreciated, united doesn't know his value and contributions to the team that's why they do criticize him often...
Manchester United obviously 'knew' his value when they bought him for a world record fee as of the time he signed for them IIRC, but he has not contributed to the team as much as the fans would have expected and that is why they criticize him; as you mentioned with Lukaku, Pogba could leave to another team and start playing brilliantly again, but he's currently not doing that at Old Trafford and I would not question the criticisms he's receiving.
Of course, they gave him maybe too many chances, but he decided to be relaxed and play without any passion. He is completely unprofessional but because of that, no one disputes that he is a great talent and has top quality. If he leaves MU, Pogba will be biggest loser in this transaction.
