I believe that KDB contract is still going strong, it will end in 2025, so that would be the most important part. Next year, when his contract ends, will he renew his contract at City, or will he prefer Saudi Arabia? I mean City could still offer him a decent contract, but this dude is making 20 million right now already, so expecting him to play for less would be naive, he will be offered maybe 100 million from Saudi Arabia, whereas I am sure that City will want to offer something less because he is getting older.

Plus he will probably not get like a 5 year deal like he did last time, so that means he is not going to end up with anything that is getting any worse at all. I don't think they're trying to hide their financial situation though. As far as I can remember, their presscon and other reports shows that they admit their financial struggles openly. In fact, this can be a detriment to their transfer activity since a club who want to buy a player from Barca might try to bid as low as possible since Barca needs money to begin with, unless there is competition for the player's signature. Who knows, maybe they will try to orbit more youngsters instead of relying on new signing[1]. CMIIW.

This is a proactive move by Barcelona, I think they are really making efforts to improve their squad from what it looked like last season. Of course that's what it's usually like for clubs to turn down the first offers coming for their players especially when they considers the offer to be below the valuation of the player in question. As expected Barcelona will go back with an improved offer hopefully this time they will go closer to the valuation of the player. But they have to be fast about it, as Dani Olmo is a good player and other clubs will also be making moves to hijack the deal. With Dani Olmo, Nico Willams and Yamal, Barcelona will squad will be very competitive next season. I just hope they will be able to get these players especially Dani Olmo and Williams.

RB Leipzig have rare gem in the club and letting him go will be huge loss from their end. They don't have to sell their key players because that's where their winnings originates, these key men will always bring up the require top expectations. Dani Olmo is top player, he's very skillful with the ball and have gathered enough experience to put his team infront. The day I found out the extra ordinary qualities of Dani Olmo was when he single-handedly thrashed Bayern Munich in the final. He scored an hat-trick to put his team ahead of Bayern Munich.

Barcelona is trying to get some quality players with their low budget that is why they went t RB Leipzig since they have tried so many players and failed along the way.

On the other; RB Leipzig is not a team that do worry when their key players leave them, they are like Dortmund that deliberately sell their main key players judt to get money instead of them leaving the players with them to win them trophies, they have done such things with players like Aubameyang, Jordan Sancho, Erling Haaland, and lots more which is why they don usually win trophies that much.
