Newcastle are closing for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, from Everton.
Newcastle also going for Max Kilman
Wolves already declined an offer for Kilman from Newcastle, can they decline if they improve?
Chelsea are talking for Jonathan David from Lille, as the Blues are going for closing the deal
England striker Marcus Rashford wants to stay in Mancehster

What exactly are Newcastle doing with Dominic Calvert-Lewin. How many goals does Dominic Calvert-Lewin score a season, plus the fact that he is not always fit. I was thinking Newcastle were more ambitious to be among the top six clubs in English premier league, but with the way they are going about their transfer I wonder what exactly they are doing. For me Dominic Calvert-Lewin is not a wise investment for Newcastle. There are players out there that can do more better and score more goals than Dominic Calvert-Lewin. I don't really know if it's just a rumour, but if it's true then I would be disappointed. Newcastle were ravaged by injury crisis last season and still they are going for a player that have a good injury records. It is not a smart move if you ask me.

If the player himself still wants to move to another club, because so far nobody is saying anything about it and there is nothing but rumours about Barcelona's desire. But it would be great if he does end up at Barcelona. In conjunction with Yamal he showed himself at the Euros just excellent, plus that he and Yamal are young players and you can hope for them
Barcelona would be more suited to Nico Williams because of his compactness with Yamal in maintaining the rhythm of the game as they showed at the Euro. The problem is Barcelona's seriousness and Barcelona's financial ability to get Williams if the player and the player's club are willing to let him go.
The Nico Williams transfer situation reminds me of the history of Fabregas' recruitment from Arsenal to Barcelona after performing well with Spain in international tournaments.
Forcing will also ultimately not have a good impact so instead of forcing to bring Nico Williams which ultimately leads to a worse financial condition, it would be better if Barcelona tries first to solve the problems they have faced in the last few seasons.

Honestly seeing what is happening right now for Barcelona, I don't think they are like a big club with good strength because in the last few seasons they have always been faced with the same situation that makes them hassle themselves in the end.

Bringing Nico Williams to replace Joao Felix whose loan expires this season is indeed a good move, it's just whether they can buy with a 60 million clause that must be paid because if it is only used as a loan option or a reduction in the clause, it is clear that Bilbao will not want to do that especially with the many enthusiasts for Nico Williams at this time.

As things stand, I believe Barcelona will sign Williams since he has turned down offers from other clubs, and Barcelona will do everything possible to secure him before the season begins. Because the boy will serve the squad extremely well and is very skilled, the new coach should do whatever it takes to buy the players. Because he is young and can contribute significantly to Barcelona, the child is very talented and can score goals. I don't know how him very well in Athletic Bilbao, but when they play Euro, that's when I know him very well, and I notice he's really interested in Barcelona as well, but Barcelona doesn't have the money to purchase him the club because I'm sure they won't sell him as chipper price for them since the boy is young and is talented. But am sure the president of Barcelona will raise funds to get the boy to the team next season. Let see how the transfer window will end or Barcelona will get the chance and get the player to the team or not.

Barcelona have the money for this player, they recently announced it if I understood it correctly and what's more, the amount is only 60 million. Yes, that might be a lot for Barcelona at the moment, but this player is priced at the fairest price at the moment. If Barcelona acquire him, I think the team will get a great duo of two young players. Especially since the team needs fresh blood anyway.

This is a deal I don’t have much doubt on not to go well. Nico Williams will be glad to join Barcelona from his current club because this a just a big progress to his career. I always think that Yamal is the one that have persuaded Nico Williams to join Barcelona because of their l closeness and how they understand each other while playing in the field together. I will like Barcelona to get him on their side this coming season, I just imagine how this duo will perform in the forward of Barcelona and make the season a tougher one for all teams in the La Liga and also Real Madrid will see a change that they’ll also double up their performance if they want to win in the league side too.

There so many players linked to clubs in this summer transfer window and I doubt these deals will all go through. DCL has been linked to Newcastle United but I don’t see it materializing. He’s a strong figure at Everton, he’s their key man in the attack. They don’t have a replacement for him yet and there haven’t been any rumors of Everton bringing in a replacement yet, so I don’t think DCL will leave this season.
Chelsea need a striker to provide competition for Jackson. Jonathan David is a good striker and a lot of clubs are also interested in signing him this season. I don’t know how serious Chelsea are on this deal. They have other names in the attack, so I don’t know who they’ll be getting.

By the way, the ridiculous amount of 60 million that PSG is offering does not raise any questions in your mind?
I don't know for sure what PSG are offering, but if it is indeed £60m, then that is not enough to get a top, talented and young striker like Victor Osimhen. Napoli wants PSG to trigger his release clause, i am pretty sure they would not do not so too, as it is around €130m IIRC, they definitely cannot pay that high, so if the deal must pull through, both clubs must find a middle ground.

That being said, there are talks of Osimhen moving to the Saudi Pro League if this deal does not work out, he wants to leave Napoli. It is going to be somewhat sad to see such a young talent move to the Saudi League, i know he will make all the money in the world, but it would not be good for his career and his chances of individual awards.

If I remember correctly, Osimhen initially had a high salary and then when he extended his contract, he seriously increased it. If after this, having the option to move to other top clubs in Europe (with obviously no less salary), he goes to Saudi Arabia, this will mean that he is to some extent finished with football and chose only money. But I hope that this will not happen and Osimhen will remain in Europe to realize his ambitions.

Victor Osimhen is still a young player that is trying to come up in the limelight of the greatest footballers in the world due to his impressive performance for his team Napoli two seasons ago but last season he was somehow backwards due to injury as he managed to play just 25 matches and scored 15 goals so he is still very much recognized in Europe and he should forget about the salary he will earn and look for a perfect team where he can showcase more of his talents and from his performance they can increase his salary with time but since he is still young, if he decides to go to Saudi league just because of money that means he should be prepared to rubbish his football career because he won't be visible in the Saudi league and other big clubs may not find him suitable enough to join them in Europe so he should be very careful about his choices at this time of his football career and make right decisions that will help him develop more as an international player.

Arsenal joined the race for Nico Williams.

This will be interesting because it looks like some big clubs are starting to enliven the transfer of Nico Williams, who is currently still uncertain about his continuation with Barcelona because in addition to Arsenal, PSG is also now starting to try to communicate with Nico Williams, especially since negotiations with Osimhen are a little hampered because of the problem of clauses that are too big.

This is also a good blessing for Bilbao it seems because with so many clubs interested in Nico Williams it is clear that they will not budge with their release clause asking for 60 million and could even be more with the current interest.
But indeed with Arsenal's current condition especially Martineli on the wing I think this will only be exaggerated because indeed with Martineli who is still quite good even though this season he didn't really contribute much I think they would be better off looking for a striker rather than a winger.
Arsenal are more concerned with signing defenders as if that's all we need forgetting that the best way to defend is to attack. They need a Bukayo Saka's back up, but it seems Edu and Arteta aren’t even thinking about that.
Nico Williams is a good player, no doubt. But looking at this Arsenal squad we can all agree that is not a priority. I mean they have two good players in that position already. Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard plays on the left wing and that’s exactly where Nico excels. He can also play on the right but with the way this Arsenal team plays, a left footed winger fits perfectly on the right side.
Arsenal have been linked to Pedro Neto of Wolves. Rumors has it that his representatives have been contacted. He’s the player that I will like Arteta to bring to the Emirates. He’ll be a good signing for the Gunners than Nico Williams. He has been in the EPL for quite a long time and I trust Arteta to bring out the potential in him.
Arsenal next move of signing the good player like, Martin Zubimendi,  Mikel Merino and Dani Olmo in the Euro 2024 in their target list will help the team  to do well. Even the last season, Arsenal was doing well but there were some lapses so the coach knows who is needed though as you pointed out clearly, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are good players but Mikel knows what he is doing.

I think it would be more logical to wait until next year. Manchester City may send him off next year. Al Ittihad can transfer him for free. The contract fee they will give him alone will put a strain on them financially, but if they want to transfer him, they will also have to pay a transfer fee to Manchester City.
There's huge bidding for the Belgium international, very important for the improvement. The Citizens will not allow the player move to any club because he's important and consider one of the key men for Pep Guardiola. Kelvin De Bruyne is one of the best player in the English Premier League and have earned his respect prior to his outstanding performance and full-time dedicated spirit work to Manchester City.

Meanwhile, whether De Bruyne will stay at Manchester City next season or not will really depend on the amount of salary offered and also the guarantee of playing in the future, If Manchester City were to cut De Bruyne salary just because of his old of course  he will choose to leave for other team, However, even though Manchester city currently has no intention of selling De Bruyne, but I am sure that he will probably move to Arabia to get a better salary in the future.
Older players will not be retained at Premier League clubs, they usually will not be renewed their contracts considering that their performance has begun to decline, which is the target of many English teams is that they are always looking for talented young players, so there is still a possibility that De Bruyne will leave after his contract expires.
If in Arabia it is certain to get a bigger salary, coupled with a free transfer, it could be that Arab clubs will compete to get him to anchor his team, but I'm sure Al Ittihad will wait until next season.

This 18 year old kid has shown good talent so far with Gangwon FC. I believe if Tottenham can actually properly nurture this kid, they will be able to get performance out of Yang Min-hyuk in the future. Still not saying that this winger will be someone like Son. But he definitely does have potential. At 18 years old, getting signed by Tottenham is already an achievement in my opinion. And I am pretty sure that Son will have a lot of things to teach this kid as he is from the same country as Son, South Korea.

Trent's future at Liverpool is still ambiguous.  Sad  He has only one year left on his current contract. Real Madrid is still interested in him according to Mirror but he is said to have no intention to leave Liverpool: Mirror

Liverpool is also said to be keen on offering a new contract to him soon. However the things is why have they even waited this long?  Huh  People can say anything but I believe he is one of the best RBs now. Real Madrid clearly wants a young RB for their future. Trent would be much better than Vazquez and I think he can do better than Carvajal as well. Carvajal has got quite old you know.

Interest in Trent has gradually cooled off. I don't know why Real Madrid wants a lazy player like him. Could it be because of his ball passing skills? I can't say what I don't know.
Bit if Real Madrid are really interested, they should have made moves already for him. Liverpool in between are eager to extend his contract and the same goes for Virgil Van Dijk whose contract would also be extended. These are core players from thee time of Jurgen Klopp and it seems like, Arne Slot has got confidence in em still.

Lol, I don't have nothing to say. But, for a player who is not defensively Smart, i don't think he has what it takes to play for Real Madrid honestly.

I feel like both Daniel Olmo and Nico Williams will finally end up as Barcelona players, so what happens to Atsu Fati and Pedri if they move in? They need depth anyways.

Arne Slot has said it’ll be a “surprise” if Liverpool don’t sign any players this summer.
https://x.com/anfieldedition/status/1816521015784276218

That’s a relief, I wonder what Slot is cooking.
But on the other hand with the management being quite stingy in terms of finances for player issues I wouldn't be surprised in the end Cheesy

But I don't think they will stick with the same squad for next season because there should be some considerations to add strength in the end. Not that the current players are bad but for Slot adjustment with the new club of course it will not be possible if he imposes his scheme with all the existing players without any additions so I'm sure there will be at least a few players coming later for Liverpool.
But it must be done immediately because after all, seeing from the current time conditions this summer transfer is only counting the days to close so before it's too late of course Liverpool have to work extra.

That's what makes me less sure in the end when talking about Nico Williams being at Arsenal, because after all Arteta must know when there are additional players in the wing position where there are Martineli and Trosard it will make the friction of competition even greater and it is not impossible for a player to leave later.
Rumors about Pedro Neto with Arsenal actually this has been an old rumor where not only this time but in the winter transfer also Pedro Neto is rumored to be at Arsenal but until now this still cannot be realized properly and I still have not found other news about the certainty of this player for Arsenal because the rumors continue to float the same as what happened in the transfer windows in January.
Currently Arsenal have only just made David Raya permanent for this season for the rest they still have not made any agreements with several players for now.

Spurs seem to have good plans for the future. This team brought in a young player from South Korea who will join Spurs in the early months of next year. I'm just speculating that on the LW there is Son and the RW is occupied by Min-hyuk Yang. The lineup is filled with players from South Korea.  Roll Eyes

But I think Spurs plan this time is very good because Min-hyuk Yang has great skills even though he is still young but he seems very reliable.

Transfers from the Far East generally bring success to Tottenham. That's why I can't criticize them. They have observers who know the place very well. If they decided to transfer this player at a young age, it is due to the fact that they have high expectations from the player. England is a very difficult league, but the good thing is that young players have the chance to improve themselves in the competitive Championship on loan.
