It seems like it's just a rumor circulating that Kevin De Bruyne will be proposed to by a Saudi Arabian club, because Manchester City hasn't really responded to the oblique news circulating and Manchester City hasn't responded to the rumor, and looking at the remaining contract which will end in 2025 together. Kevin De Bruyne I think Kevin will stay at the Etihad Stadium, and Manchester City is optimistic that Kevin De Bruyne will still stay at Manchester City. And if Al Ittihad really wants to propose to Kevin De Bruyne, City doesn't mind, it's just that Manchester City is charging a fairly high price, and that doesn't make sense considering that Kevin De Bruyne is already 33 years old and has already entered retirement.
33 years is not a guarantee of retirement, KDB is still an extraordinary player both physically and statistically. He is one of the players who has played a role in Manchester City success to date. However, regarding interest from the Saudi Arabian Club, it has entered a positive phase, the point is that it is very likely that KDB will really leave and Al Ittihad will be able to pay whatever the amount is. With a bigger salary while still at Manchester City, nothing is impossible. KBD is open to accepting offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, as he said several months ago.
There is a lot of news circulating about the future of KDB at the moment but there is no one who may be able to explain what the fate of KDB will be in the future, rumors are circulating now if KDB will leave for the Arab League but so far this has not been confirmed by KDB and also Manchester City, but as far as I have heard at the moment actually Al Ittihad is in the process of negotiating with Aston Villa related to the purchase of Moussa Diaby,  Moussa Diaby is one of the most prolific attacking midfielders and has been able to contribute a lot to Aston Villa attacking line, so I think Al Ittihad may be more inclined to prioritise Moussa Diaby current transfer than trying to sign KDB from Manchester City.

Indeed, in recent weeks there have been talks taking place between Manchester City and Al Ittihad but reportedly it is not related to KDB, Rather, it is an effort by Al Ittihad who want to recruit Ederson as their goalkeeper next season, currently KDB is 33 years old so it is very natural that he continues to be rumored to leave, especially since his contract has one more season left with Manchester City.

Indirectly, whether we admit it or not, Saudi money can disrupt the plans of top European clubs, that's what I see if De Bruyne transfer materializes. We realize that there is a win-win situation in every transfer, maybe Manchester City think it is time to cash in on De Bruyne, he is 33 years old, and they will get 30 to 40 million from the transfer. Apart from that, Al Ittihad got what they wanted, big name players who could raise the prestige of the Saudi Pro League on the world football stage. Of course, the high salary offer was the main attraction, De Bruyne also realized that it was a good opportunity before hanging up his boots later. Manchester City are reportedly making an approach with Dani Olmo, Jamal Musiala, Florian Wirtz, in anticipation of their captain leaving.

I think it's too early for Kevin De Bruyne to transfer to the Arab League. But he had a lot of transfer offers there. I think he couldn't resist the dizzying offers any longer. Last season, after recovering from injury, he made a very important contribution to Manchester City. A lot of important points in the league title came after his return to the team. I think he is a very important player for Manchester City. I don't think Pep Guardiola will be happy with this transfer. But I am sure that the astronomical transfer offers from the Arab League could change Kevin De Bruyne's mind.
KDB gets injured more often than before and he is already 33 years old so it means he not getting any younger and very soon it will be difficult to keep up with the intensity of the league. Kante is 33 years just like De bruyne and he is already playing in the Saudi league despite having more energy in the field of play so it’s not too early for De Bruyne to join Kante in the Saudi League.

He is very important player for Manchester City but i am certain Guardiola would be already making plans to find a replacement for him with the way Saudi teams are interested in signing him.

I think it is not a rumor, there are many media reporting the same issue. De Bruyne can leave Man City because he still can't get a contract extension, he is also getting old. Moreover, Man City seems to look for a younger attacking midfielder. It indicates Man City no longer relying on De Bruyne. It is quite surprising that Man City still didn't extend De Bruyne's contract. His contract will be over soon in June 30, 2025.

Yes, Man City sets the minimum price of De Bruyne at €100million. I agree that it is an expensive price because the market value of De Bruyne is only around €50m now. However, I think there should be Saudi clubs to pay the huge money if De Bruyne really agrees to leave Man City to Saudi league. Now, it depends on De Bruyne whether he prefers to stay in Man City or moving to SPL for a new experience.

Transfer news: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/kevin-de-bruyne-drops-transfer-29583332.amp

I really did not see this move coming.  Saudi clubs are still following through with their plans to buy famous players from around the world to their lesgue. Though KDB has won all the trophies in club football, I didn’t think he would be leaving the EPL so soon. Like many I assumed his future at Manchester City was solidified even though he’s 33years. Kevin De Bruyne is one of Manchester City’s most important players on and off the pitch. He’s the playmaker in the team and the engine of Pep’s goal scoring machine, Erling Haaland. Arsenal fans will be delighted at this news, they probably think they stand a chance this season to win the premier league lol.

Events are developing rather strangely: some sources confirm the fact of the transfer, and some deny the very fact of negotiations regarding De Bruyne, allegedly negotiations between City and the Saudis are only taking place regarding Ederson (for whom City want too much - 50 million). Judging by the fact that De Bruyne talked about his move to Saudi Arabia, he really wants it, but City doesn’t want to let him go, which is why we see such conflicting news.

I just saw that Kevin De Bruyne have agreed to leave Man City for a Saudi Arabia side Al Ittihad. Well, I will say is the right timing because he has to make good use of the little glory he has to chase the money, this time, oil money. This will be a great one for Man City because De Bruyne, who have spend many years in Man City have made remarkable impact in the team, scoring great goals and a huge threat to any opponent they face. I think age is also one factor that made him take such decision.

To be honest with you this isn't the kind of news I wanted to believe is true, having such a player in the EPL with all the wonderful things he has done for the club and in the EPL is just too hard to say goodbye. It will definitely affect Manchester City a bit because they can never get any player that can be creative as KDB, Cole Palmer would have been the better replacement but they were too in a rush to sell him and now the midfield general is leaving the side.
I agree with you that is time to take a bow and start a new chapter with his family and the Saudi is a place to retire from football. What would be of Manchester City now that KDB is leaving the Citizen? Is this going to be another opportunity for other clubs who are trying to win the league to take advantage of Manchester City? Can the Citizens be as strong as they were when KDB was in the squad? To me I just can't wait to see how things work out without him on the team.
So Kevin De Bruyne's outta Manchester City who was the heart and soul of their midfield. His playability? Unreplaceable genius. He dominated the EPL, winning trophies and setting standards. Okay, he's going to the Saudi league, right? The Ronaldo move, the peaceful sunset league for retiring legends. Smart for him to keep his skills, but City? They're gonna feel this

At initially, their midfield will be a shambles with little creativity or flow. However, that opens the door for new blood, maybe a young gun rises up. When Ronaldo returned to United, big name, past his prime, it shook things up. If City wobbles, rival Premier League clubs will scent blood

I wonder how Man City will manage with the full absence of KDB, and before I forget, what would become of Haaland as an attacker that has been with KDB and enjoying his assist to get goals? I don't think next season will be easy for the attacker. I don't think Manchester City have anybody that can fill in the void since KDB is leaving the side, are we going to call Foden? No, I don't think he can get things done for the club just like KDB does. All I know is that Pep is one tricky coach that can do without players who has lots of potential to change the outcome of a game and he might get in someone else to do the job before the beginning of the season and Eberechi Eze might be the man to replace KDB that's why I said we shouldn't underestimate what he can do but to me I feel Manchester City isn't going to be as strong as they were last season.

Yes, Maybe this news will be true. This is the right time to benefit both De Bruyne and Man City. De Bruyne will demand a huge salary from Al Ittihad because his current performance and achievements are qualified to demand a high salary. As for Man City, there is still a contract release clause with De Bruyne, they will earn a sum of money from this deal. Although we know that finding a midfielder to replace De Bruynen is extremely difficult, if not impossible. But whatever happens. Pep Guardiola must find new people, even change the way Man City plays.

If De Bruyne plays football in Saudi Arabia for 2 years, De Bruyne can earn an unbelievable amount of money. This is a good opportunity for him to make a large amount of money, everyone will need it. Not only facing the opportunity to receive a huge salary at Al Ittihad, but De Bruyne can also play football with stars who once stirred up Europe such as Kante, Benzema, or Fabinho.

So far we have not been able to confirm whether or not it is true news about de Bruyne move to Al Ittihad, because I just read a tweet from Fabrizio Romano which said that Al Ittihad is currently focused on completing a deal with Moussa Diaby and also Ederson, al Ittihad  has denied that they are trying to sign De Bruyne from Manchester City., there is a lot of news circulating about De Bruyne future at Manchester City and it's hard to see what really happened before Manchester City and De Bruyne officially confirmed all the issues circulating, but regardless of whether the news is true or not, I think it's time for De Bruyne to leave for Saudi Arabia to be able to earn a lot of money, de Bruyne has to be realistic about his current he career and performance which of course may still be able to play only 2 or 3 more years before he retires, moving to Saudi Arabia is an opportunity for De Bruyne to have better finances in the future and no longer need to hope to get the championship trophy because him has won all the prestigious trophies with Manchester City so far .

https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1815076554201866487?t=bSVu-eZkSOv6VuriLa1rww&s=19

It is strange that Aston Villa wants only 50-60 million euros for Moussa Diaby, because it seems that Aston Villa bought him for 55 million and it seems that for Aston Villa it is a forced sale and besides Diaby is only 25 years old and it seems early for him to go to Saudi Arabia, unlike De Bruyne who is already 33 and his contract with City will end in a year. I guess if De Bruyne hasn't renewed his contract with City, he must be serious about a move to the Saudi league after all.
The Saudi league should be in the top 10 soccer leagues soon considering how many high quality players have moved to it in the last year.

I was quite surprised to hear this. namely De Bruyne's decision if he really agrees to go to the Saudi Arabian club, namely Al-ittihad. I understand if the reason is because of age or money. But Man City will really lose a very important figure at the club. Last season Gundogan went to Barcelona and this season if it really happens it will be De Bruyne who goes to a club in the Saudi Pro league. Actually, I still feel that De Bruyne's role at Man City will be difficult to replace. Because after De Bruyne recovered from injury, we saw De Bruyne really make a big contribution last season with Man City. And I think Haaland will lose the person who understands best in sending passes to him. Because so far Haaland has always been able to work most harmoniously with De Bruyne on the field. But whatever De Bruyne's decision, I will still be happy with his decision. And maybe I should also start watching the SPL more actively. In previous seasons I often missed the league.
De Bruyne's contract runs until June 2025, so maybe he will still spend this season for City, but on the other hand, if he is already thinking about leaving the club, then he should do it now before the contract expires. The Daily Mail writes that De Bruyne has agreed to the terms of the contract with Al-Ittihad, which means this could really happen in the near future.

City's better option is to sell him now to Ittihad. They should not wait until De Bruyne's contract expires next year. De Bruyne has one year left on his contract with City. Selling him now will benefit both City and De Bruyne. The latest report states that De Bruyne has already reached a deal with Ittihad. I think we can trust this rumour since it comes from Rudy Galletti. De Bruyne knows the chance to get a huge sum of money from playing in the Saudi Pro League club won't come again. And again, Benzema urges his club to recruit quality players to support him (De Bruyne probably one of these players).

Logically, it's very hard to resist Saudi's money. This is caused by De Bruyne being 33 years old, and his performance may potentially decline. A very wise decision from him to accept Al-Ittihad's offer. De Bruyne will likely transfer to Al-Ittihad. It will happen this summer.

This would be sad news for not only the City fans but for the whole EPL cause Kelvin De Bruyne is one of the players that made EPL fun to watch and I think his playing days in the EPL is not yet over, I strongly believe that City still needs him, Pep still need him in his squad and this might be a way to force the board to negotiate another deal with him, we've seen players do that over the years, accepting to leave and still end up staying in their club, well let's see how it goes, if City would be able to persuade him to stay for another season which is what they should do instead of allowing him leave to the Arab league. Well I don't think it would affect them for long since city are good at scouting good players and would definitely get a replacement for De Bruyne if he leaves though it might take them a while to get a player that does pulls exactly same stunts like him, I just hope he stays for one more season at Man City.

De Bruyne's contract expires in a year in 2025, so here it seems that the player's desire to make money in Saudi Arabia coincides with the club's desire to get some money from De Bruyne's transfer. Guardiola wouldn't be the best coach in the world if he couldn't find replacements for his best players.
It can be remembered that after Agüero's departure Manchester City rebuilt and looked even stronger.
While there are rumors that Guardiola wants to sign Donnaruma and if he succeeds, it will be a great move, because from the confident game of the goalkeeper many depends, and Donnaruma essentially took the Italian national team out of the group, his confident game at Euro 2024.

Debruyne has already won titles and nothing seems to be left out even trophies in the top leagues, with his impact in City they have gotten as much benefits of acquiring him in the first place and letting him go is definitely a must for a class player. His getting older and his performance will be depreciating over time, leaving him in a competitive club like that where records hold how incredible he was and now cannot perform in same way, becomes a problem to how the fans and audience will see him, also what happened to Ronaldo when he came back to Manchester United.
The decline in performance that occurs over time as a player gets older cannot be denied by anyone, so fans must also understand this so as not to have a wrong assessment of Debruyne. And I think all Manchester City fans know that Debruyne is a player who can always be relied on and also made a good contribution while he was in the Manchester City team. So what could happen to him next season is something that is appropriate if it is related to his increasing age and when he leaves the Manchester City team, of course there will be many memories that Manchester City fans will not forget.
Like you rightly said, most football players starts to decline in their performances whenever they clock 33 years and above but some football fans especially the very over expectant ones will always want their favorite players to keep delivering world class performances even when they're 35 years of age forgetting that these players can't continue be at their best. Kelvin De Bruyne is without doubt one of the best midfielders of his generation but as it stands now, he can't deliver the top notch performances he's known for week in, week out so it's actually a good move for him to leave Manchester City this summer. When he talked about how good it'll be to move to Saudi Arabia and earn big wages in his last years as professional footballer was when I knew he was going to leave Manchester City this summer and that he's going to do as a legend of the club.

On the other hand, I am not surprised because since Kevin de Bruyne statement regarding a future that might be more secure if he plays in Saudi Arabia. Well, at that time he actually gave the green light for the Saudi Arabian club to take quick action to recruit him. And what Kevin de Beuyne did was give a warning to Man City who still did not increase their salaries after what he had given to the club. This makes sense and any player wants his services to be truly appreciated, when the Saudi Arabian club can afford to pay him then there is no choice but to leave. Kevin de Bruyne made a breakthrough for Man City so that in the future they must be able to adjust. It's all about money because Kevin de Bruyne still has the quality to play for any club.

The latest news is that the Al Ittihad club which has been linked with De Brunye's departure has not included its name in negotiation talks with City. Al Ittihad is actually being rumored to be with City goalkeeper Ederson for a dowry of €50 million, so the story about De Brunye's personal agreement is not true, quoted by Fabrizio Romano. I still say that this is just gossip, because there is no official claim from either City or the Belgian player. This season is the last season for De Brunye, especially if City does not renew his contract. We know that he is no longer young, but Pep Guardiola still really needs his performance in his team's squad. In fact, De Bruyne's future is currently being questioned, it could be that he leaves for the Suadi League or that he stays with City until his contract ends. after all, his position at City is still one of the key players. Pep hasn't really found the ideal option to replace De Bruyne, and my guess is he will stay. at least, until the contract ends. Plus, he can spend his final season with City targeting various trophies with his teammates. Let's just wait for further developments, because there are many possibilities that could happen.

The extension of the contract really don't say everything about the contract.
For example take Osimhen he renewed the past season just to be sold better and it can be the same situation with Lautaro.

Another thing to consider is if (and we don't know) they applied a release clause under some circumstances.

So for sure is better for Inter if they extended it but it doesn't means that he will stay in Italy for another 5 years.

Yeah we don't have any idea about the new contract details yet. I can only see the details of the previous one here.

It says he had no release clause in this one but some other websites indicate it like there was one which was worth around 120 million euros. But I trust the source I shared above more honestly.  Tongue

There is no guarantee for anything indeed. Maybe he would play for 2-3 years the most and say goodbye to join a bigger team. Time will show.  Smiley  I would really like to watch him at Real Madrid one day but after signing Mbappe I know it is a less realistic expectation.
