I just saw that Kevin De Bruyne have agreed to leave Man City for a Saudi Arabia side Al Ittihad. Well, I will say is the right timing because he has to make good use of the little glory he has to chase the money, this time, oil money. This will be a great one for Man City because De Bruyne, who have spend many years in Man City have made remarkable impact in the team, scoring great goals and a huge threat to any opponent they face. I think age is also one factor that made him take such decision.
SourceIt is a fake Rumor according to the top Journalist Fabrizio Romano, there is not even a single negotiation between Kelvin De Bruyne and the Al Ittihad club so the news of him agreeing any personal contract is fake news. The club has only just signed Aston villa’s Moussa Diaby and not after the signing of Kelvin De Bruyne. De Bruyne is still having a contract with Manchester city which I think is upto like 2026 and he definitely intends to run down his contract. Although he had earlier said that he doesn’t rules out the move to the Saudi Pro league as he thinks it won’t be bad to go earn the high wages there but there was no indication that he is leaving this summer.
Even if he does wants to leave it won’t be an easy deal considering how important he is to the city team. Manchester city are not looking like a club that can survive that departure now. Probably next two seasons but not right now
The move is great for increasing the emotional connection between fans and the club, and it is not the first in football history. Union Berlin fans are even willing to donate their blood to help the club finances, and this action reflects the fans love for their favorite club. Barcelona actually still has several options to recruit Nico Williams, by applying for new debt, releasing other players, or by bartering players plus adding some money. Hansi Flick will be very happy if Barcelona management succeeds in recruiting Nico Williams, even if finances allow, Hansi Flick still wants to recruit several more players.
The thing that Barcelona needs to do to get Nico Williams isn’t about the transfer fee but the wage load on the club which is where the club is been restricted in spending. They need to release players that have high wages and not so important again and that’s why you see the likes of De Jong coming up for sale because of his high wage which is around 600k, a sale of players like this is what will bring the player to Barcelona
