The news about De Bruyne's move to an Arab club is still confusing. Because there are many news stories that are different from each other. For example, in one of the news stories I read today which stated that De Bruyne's departure to the Arab club was a hoax. And in the news it was also said that this news was confirmed as a hoax by Fabrizio Romano who said that there was indeed no communication between the two parties regarding De Bruyne. (Sourch)

De Bruyne isn't going anywhere as it seems, at least for this season.  Smiley  Because Fabrizio Romano has tweeted on it. Guardiola has confirmed that he isn't going to the Saudi league this summer.

Quote
But regarding Manchester City's goalkeeper, Ederson, it turns out that this player is reportedly ready to go to Al-ittihad and it seems like there are discussions between the two parties regarding this issue.

https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1815375012624208062

Ederson is really about to leave for Al-Ittihad. Nothing certain yet though like it says on the tweet. The interesting thing is Manchester City doesn't think of finding a strong replacement for him.  Huh

Do they really trust Ortega? I mean I remember that great save which played a big role in their Premier League title. However we are talking about the long term. We need to be realistic. As far as I can remember, he has gained lots of weight. If he doesn't get fit he would have serious issues with saving difficult shots. I think they should sign another star goalkeeper. I'm curious whether this has anything to do with the lawsuit waiting for them.

Riccardo Calafiori deal is nearly done for Arsenal. They are paying €40m plus €5m add-ons.

Source: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1815355192058995079

Bologna and Basel have to confirm the deal and it is done.  Smiley  It's a smart move by Arsenal. There are normally 3 centre-backs: Saliba, Gabriel, Timber. Gabriel is prone to making mistakes. Maybe Calafiori might even get the shirt from him in the starting eleven. But to do that he needs to work really hard. Because Gabriel has been a regular starter for a very long time. It wouldn't be an easy challenge.
I can't imagine with Arsenal's defense for next season after success signing Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna with transfer fees reach up to 40 million euro plus 5 million euro add on bonuses. Actually the original position as Riccardo Calafiori on left defender and Mikel Arteta have strong right defender Ben White make it completed for Arsenal with their wing back playing well as offensive or defensive.

Special performance with Riccardo Calafiori he can plays well as left or right defender side and give many option for Mikel Arteta when any key players get injuries. Seems has possibility for Riccardo Calafiori make debut when first Arsenal pre season match against Bournemouth and looking how can adapt well with Premier League has high intention than Serie A we know less high intention on every match.
After success signing Riccardo Calafiori its over for Arsenal transfer activities or they have some target exactly rumor will sign any players on attacking line position.
Arsenal has reached an agreement with Bologna and in the near time Calafiori will soon undergo a medical test at Arsenal, the negotiations that took place between Bologna and Arsenal were very tough and the two parties almost did not find an agreement after not finding a suitable price from both teams, after reading several articles about the Calafiori transfer, I just understood why Bologna set the selling price for Calafiori too high because It turns out there is a lot of fees (40%) that they have to pay to Basel at this time, Not only that, the transfer got even more complicated when Roma also asked for a share of almost 9 million euros from Basel because Calafiori is a Roma academy player who was sold to Basel in 2022, but apart from that, of course Arsenal were very lucky to be able to get Calafiori and he will be able to form a strong and solid duo with Saliba or Timber in the next seasons, apart from being capable as a centre-back of course arteta has plenty of options to play him at left-back next season if the kiwior is sold or Zinchenko is injured or absent.

What a joy for a boyhood gunner, it's a dream finally that he'll be playing for the club next season. I think, he is worth the buy and would do brilliantly great for Emirates. I hope the fans gives him a warm welcome and the necessary backing when the Premier League Competition kicks off. Gabriel? Maybe I haven't watched him closely, but he did well with Saliba last season. What a bond they had together ( Covalent Bond ) Smiley

I think they have done that already, possibly this week, everything about this player would be sealed up and permanent. It's good to see that Mikel Arteta is trying to build a stronger backline, that means they'll be better than they did last season. I'm still tipping Mikel Arteta and Arsenal to win the Premier League Competition next season, they deserve it.

But then, they're yet to bring in a better striker, I think with Nketiah making a move to Marseille soon, they'll have enough money to fund for that swedish player Victor Gyokeres who was highest goal scorer for Sporting Lisbon last season.

So where will James Rodriguez continue his career?

As has been revealed, James Rodriguez has left Sao Paulo as a free agent and he has spent one season with the Brazilian club. His brilliant performance in the Copa America with Colombia will certainly be a good consideration. Here he has also proven his unusual achievement by collecting the award as the best player in the 2024 Copa America.

He is 33 years old and at least he is fit to give his best for the club he will play for. Reportedly he wants to return to Europe and I think it would not be in vain for any club to accept him. On the other hand, quite a lot of people are asking him to come to Leverkusen and we can imagine that if Leverkusen had James Rodriguez in their midfield, it feels like they would have a stronger squad for next season. One of the odd things this season for me is Liverpool's links with Kubo. ECHO says that this talk is premature instead of fake news[1], so either the plan exists but they don't do anything concrete about it or they just scrapped it and looked for other players if this were to be believed. I'm unsurprised if an agent pushes this rumor to increase Kubo's values. Anyway, they are very quiet in this transfer window with so many rumours suggesting more players want to exit the club instead. Who knows what they will do next season?

Liverpool is very quite for transfer players compared to other clubs such as Manchester United or Chelsea because although Liverpool currently were linked to some players but apparently this only a rumour and as a Liverpool fans i was waiting the players who will bought by Arne Slot this summer because i was very excited want to see the performance of Liverpool under Arne Slot for next season

Currently Arne Slot still focusing to train Liverpool players so he didn't talk too much about transfer players but few days ago i was read the news that their player Trent Alexander-Arnold was into Real Madrid radar but Trent Alexander-Arnold has been refuse this rumour because he want to stayed at Liverpool much longer but he has one year contract remaining and hopefully Liverpool will give him contract extension in the near future and i was considers Trent Alexander-Arnold is important player for this team and i wish Liverpool will give long term contract to him

About Takefusa Kubo if i am not mistaken this rumour was appears since few weeks ago because at that time Liverpool was thinking to find the replacement of Mo Salah who possibly will leave Liverpool and go to Saudi Arabian but until now Liverpool didn't confirmed or even refuse this rumour

But just like i said before Liverpool is not very welcome to Japanese players because previously they have Minamino who failed to adapt and the latest is they have Wataru Endo which in my view his performance cannot be say good and i fear buy Takefusa Kubo would be failed transfer for Liverpool

While there are rumors that Guardiola wants to sign Donnaruma and if he succeeds, it will be a great move, because from the confident game of the goalkeeper many depends, and Donnaruma essentially took the Italian national team out of the group, his confident game at Euro 2024.
Yes this will be so good for Manchester City to bring the Italian spider Gianluigi Donnarumma to the club. Because currently he is too young his performance is just absolutely superb. Gianluigi Donnarumma is 25 years old and their current contract will be expire in 2026. So it would be a nice move if they had done it successfully. Earlier, Manchester City had an opportunity to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the club rejected it. In the previous deal, PSG wanted to do a swap deal in which they offered Gianluigi Donnarumma and Marco Verratti to sign Bernardo Silva in 2023. But Manchester City rejected it. So now it is the best opportunity to sign Gianluigi Donnarumma because the current goalkeeper of Manchester City has more chances to move to Saudi Arabia because many clubs are interested in the Saudi Arabia leagues.

If I were Donnarumma you would immediately go to City, a team made to win and tailor-made for him too in my opinion with an excellent defensive department that can help a goalkeeper who in my opinion is incredible, as we know in Italy it is an excellent school for goalkeepers but this boy he is a real phenomenon just look at his performances with Italy he was clearly the best of the team who saved the games save after save so he would be an excellent signing for them

I am actually quite impress by this particular signing by arsenal here because in as much as their defensive performance was quite ok last season, the best way for them to step up their game and take their defensive play to another level is to bring in another top quality player into the team to either dispose the current central backs or complement them, by giving them more competition for a place in the starting eleven which will eventually makes them be at their best, so the signing of Ricardo calafiori is a very good move by Mikel arteta, and it shows that he is a manager that knows what it entails to win the title.

Secondly, another thing that makes this particular transfer logical too me is that, it shows that arsenal mean business this season, they are trying to put things in other by re- writing their wrongs earlier, so that  during the cause of the season, defensive problem will not be an issue if situation like injuries arises.

There's no official announcement yet whether these players will leave Liverpool or not, so the scouters are preparing the names that they want to sign if the veteran players choose to leave.

They always have something up their sleeves. So expecting them to be weak at any time is like expecting a mountain to suddenly become a valley. I already foresaw Foden taking up the mantle from him & becoming more central to their plans. Let's see how the transfer window goes for every team.
I see that Manchester City is already has automation system which mean when there's one or two player(s) missing in their team, the other players can replace their positions. If Manchester City lost De Bruyne, they still have Foden and Alvarez.

It doesn't like Arsenal who lost Saka and Liverpool lost Salah, they need to re-build the team again.

It seems like it's just a rumor circulating that Kevin De Bruyne will be proposed to by a Saudi Arabian club, because Manchester City hasn't really responded to the oblique news circulating and Manchester City hasn't responded to the rumor, and looking at the remaining contract which will end in 2025 together. Kevin De Bruyne I think Kevin will stay at the Etihad Stadium, and Manchester City is optimistic that Kevin De Bruyne will still stay at Manchester City. And if Al Ittihad really wants to propose to Kevin De Bruyne, City doesn't mind, it's just that Manchester City is charging a fairly high price, and that doesn't make sense considering that Kevin De Bruyne is already 33 years old and has already entered retirement.
Actually, I still want to see Kevin De Bruyne still at the Etihad in the next season because I think he still has good performance to play with Manchester City.
Last season we didn't see Kevin De Bruyne from the start of the season because he had a long injury so I was also dissatisfied with not seeing his performance from the start, but if you look at the current situation I think Man City should consider selling this player this year because otherwise they will lose Kevin De Bruyne next season for free, I know Kevin De Bruyne is a very important player for Man City but his contract at the club only has the remaining season for next season and of course Man City doesn't want to suffer a loss but if they want to keep Kevin de Bruyne has one more season left, at least the club can extend his contract until 2026 and then next season he will be sold to a club that is interested in him.

Seeing the latest news on Twitter, Pep Guardiola stated that Kevin De Bruyne will not leave Man City this summer, so it is clear that Kevin De Bruyne's arrival in Saudi Arabia is just a rumor. But we don't know if he spend next season, it might be his last season at Man City.

Honestly, I was already warming up to the fact that Manchester City will be slightly weaker next season after hearing of his departure. Kevin Debruyne was already becoming a peripheral figure in that Manchester City team, they may actually be stronger without him provided that his replacement is fit & at least 70% as talented. He didn’t feature in quite an amount of games last season and even days he featured and wasn’t playing well city still coped.
They always have something up their sleeves. So expecting them to be weak at any time is like expecting a mountain to suddenly become a valley. I already foresaw Foden taking up the mantle from him & becoming more central to their plans. Let's see how the transfer window goes for every team.

Transfer news: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/kevin-de-bruyne-drops-transfer-29583332.amp

I really did not see this move coming.  Saudi clubs are still following through with their plans to buy famous players from around the world to their lesgue. Though KDB has won all the trophies in club football, I didn’t think he would be leaving the EPL so soon. Like many I assumed his future at Manchester City was solidified even though he’s 33years. Kevin De Bruyne is one of Manchester City’s most important players on and off the pitch. He’s the playmaker in the team and the engine of Pep’s goal scoring machine, Erling Haaland. Arsenal fans will be delighted at this news, they probably think they stand a chance this season to win the premier league lol.

Judging by the fact that De Bruyne talked about his move to Saudi Arabia, he really wants it, but City doesn’t want to let him go, which is why we see such conflicting news.
I've heard that this rumor came from Galetti. I don't think he was risking his reputation to create fake news. I think more confirmation is needed, but for now im sure De Bruyne is thinking to leave from City. It's a lose for City to keep 33 years player in the club.
Pep ordered De Bruyne to stay for another season, and even he urged him to retire in City. But we know how De Bruyne reacted when he got a chance to play for a Saudi Pro League club. He is open to any lucrative offer. De Bruyne really wants it if there's a good offer from a Saudi Pro League club.

About media, it's a common thing to see media contradicting each other.  This is normal in the football. Some media would be also creating fake news to pay attention to increase their traffic. That's our job to be a smart reader.
No, of course De Bruyne won't go. Pep Guardiola has said it, and what is reported by the media about De Bruyne's openness to going to Saudi is not true and all this is just media fiction, De Bruyne is already 33 years old many years old but he still has good quality so far and Pep still believes in him that he will be the main one for the team and as team captain, if you look at his physical appearance De Bruyne is still able to provide assists for Man City's attack still has ability because not all players depend on age.

All the news circulating that De Bruyne is going to Al Ittihad is all untrue Fabrizio has confirmed it and Pep has confirmed that De Bruyne will not leave and he has never talked about his departure until now, so not all the media will carry the facts, sometimes they make things up to increase interest, so I think what we can trust from football journalists is Fabrizio Romano because he very rarely brings fake news in the world of football.

I wonder how Man City will manage with the full absence of KDB, and before I forget, what would become of Haaland as an attacker that has been with KDB and enjoying his assist to get goals? I don't think next season will be easy for the attacker. I don't think Manchester City have anybody that can fill in the void since KDB is leaving the side, are we going to call Foden? No, I don't think he can get things done for the club just like KDB does. All I know is that Pep is one tricky coach that can do without players who has lots of potential to change the outcome of a game and he might get in someone else to do the job before the beginning of the season and Eberechi Eze might be the man to replace KDB that's why I said we shouldn't underestimate what he can do but to me I feel Manchester City isn't going to be as strong as they were last season.

That's one thing about Pep he will always find someone to fit in that position once he's  gone (KDB) besides , he has a sub for him so he will only be needing another perfect player to build just to fit into the position... KDB is a good asset for mancity but I think he's loosing alot of strength. Halland  is mostly good when it comes with goals scoring he only need someone to make the assist not necessarily  KDB (although  KDB is good when it comes to long assist)...Pep will always find a perfect and even  better march NMW

Pep Guardiola is a tricky man and you're right that he'll get a replacement but I don't think it would be that easy to do that, he might not get it right this transfer window but by January he can. Kelvin De Bruyne is not a man you can get a perfect match, no but you see how he (Pep) replaced Fernandinho with Rodri so easy that not going to happen with KDB, he'll try but not that complete.
When you switch your attention to the attacking department where Haaland is I feel the player might have a worrisome season with goals, I can't be too certain about his abilities of scoring this very campaign may reduce but that's how i see it. For a man who doesn't have that time to fight for the ball like everyone else is not going to get those assist like before so the best thing that can happen is changing something in his playing pattern that's all.

Im feeling happy Arsenal secures calafiori. But things are getting even more complicated for Basel. Basel reached a deal with Bologna over 50% of Calafiori's fees. Now, they face Roma, who demands 8 million euros from Basel's clause over Calafiori's sale. Calafiori's transfer is now becoming a legal dispute between Basel and Roma.

Source: Romapress

This is hurting Basel. I wonder how many sell-on clauses they have stacked on Calafiori. Things are very complicated.

Calafiori is versatile. He can play in three positions. Apparently, Arteta wants two players for each position. So, 8 defenders.

White/Timber
Saliba/Tomiyasu
Gabriel/Kiwior
Calafiori/Zinchenko

We might also see Calafiori to flipping Kiwior. The club will probably loan Kiwior.

Something is not adding up in Saudi Arabia because when it comes to love of Football, they are joking where countries like Argentina that are south America and Brazil are, but this country play and don't spend money like the Saudi people are doing or this could just be a usual that might soon fade with time.
It is not about the love of football, it is about who has a lot of money. There is a lot of money in Saudi Arabia, unlike the countries you mentioned, and they are ready to invest that money into football, to make the Saudi pro league very popular and also to attract renowned players to Saudi Arabia. Right now, it is working for them, but i don't know for how long, we are sure that any player moving to Saudi does so for the money, so it begs the question, what will happen if they stop funding these clubs with a lot of money?

I think it is not a rumor, there are many media reporting the same issue. De Bruyne can leave Man City because he still can't get a contract extension, he is also getting old. Moreover, Man City seems to look for a younger attacking midfielder. It indicates Man City no longer relying on De Bruyne. It is quite surprising that Man City still didn't extend De Bruyne's contract. His contract will be over soon in June 30, 2025.

Kevin De Bruyne is the highest paid player in premier league. As it stands now, he’s the top earner in the premier league with a gross per year income of €24.7M. He’s 33 years old and maybe Manchester City cannot be paying so much for a player like his age without getting a reduction in salary. After some years now, he may become wore out and Manchester City won’t stand the chance to get a new midfielder at that time or can get one but will take time to adapt to the teams pattern of football. Since he won’t be given a contract extension, there’s likelihood he’ll leave and won’t continue with Manchester City in the next season. He did well and have contributed a lot to the success of Manchester City. He worth the pay and if they can’t continue on that ground, he should be allowed to leave.

As far as I remember, it was previously discussed here that KDB had the desire to leave Man City to join Al Nassr to appear with Ronaldo. But KDB wants to leave the team after his contract expires.
So it looks like Ittihad will only be in vain if they want to get KDB because Al Nassr also wants this player to take advantage of the player's desire to appear with Ronaldo.
Man City may suffer losses from losing this player but Guardiola will not allow the team's line-up to be filled with old players and the longer KDB stays at Man City, the more productivity will decrease.

It's so disappointing to see how that guy want to lose his career, he said that money he is going to make playing for Europe for 15 years, if he should channel that into Sauidi League, he is sure of making it in 2 years and this begs so many questions of Saudi Arabia leagues are calling on high profile players from Europe to their side because I wonder the value KDB is going to add to his new team if he eventually leave, Premier League that is the most watch league don't splash money on players the way Sauidi men are doing.

Something is not adding up in Saudi Arabia because when it comes to love of Football, they are joking where countries like Argentina that are south America and Brazil are, but this country play and don't spend money like the Saudi people are doing or this could just be a usual that might soon fade with time.
