If you sell players without replacement, the club will make money but the quality will decline. One of the foremost coaches in La Liga who has successfully balanced increasing profit and balancing team quality is Diego Simeone. He is one of the best coaches when it comes to making a profit from big players and grooming replacements.
But indeed this happens due to the ingenuity that always sells players at high prices but can always maximize existing players and prices that are not as expensive as when they sell and if you look at purchases and sales it seems that Barcelona has always been a barn for Atletico's finances because they always profit when doing business with Barcelona when they bring in players or sell players.

Some players like Arda Turan or even Griezmann were brought by Barcelona from Atletico at a very expensive price but when some players returned and were brought in from Barcelona, Atletico could always redeem at low prices even free agents, for example like Suarez and Depay, even the purchase of Griezmann was less than half the price they sold before.
It's just that when talking about Simeone at Atletico, to be honest, I don't really like this coach because I think his style is too monotonous especially since he has been at Atletico for a long time but management seems to continue to let him be at the Civitas Metropolitano.

Well that's his choice but I think a lot of other coaches would choose to add some players that would actually make their style of game more effective although I know if he choose to go with the squad due to the fact that they are actually broke and the want to add new players would actually cause more debt to the club or the offloading of old players.
Well, that is a fact that cannot be denied at all. That every coach who comes to a club will definitely want to add several new players to his plans for his new club. And Hansi Flick actually also has players he wants to bring to Barcelona. And one of the players that Hansi Flick really wants to bring in is Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. But considering Barelona's current condition, perhaps Hansi Flick will understand if his wish does not come true.

But even though Barcelona has not yet recovered from their financial problems, in fact the club seems to be trying to make its new coach's wishes come true. It's just that the release clause for Frimpong, which is quite high, namely €40 million, was still an obstacle for Barcelona last month. I didn't find any recent updates on this. But I'm sure the club is still trying to get this player for the sake of the new coach.

A very striking request from Dani Carvajal to Rodri and indeed if that really happens then Madrid puzzle piece will be complete with the presence of Rodri, a midfielder who is undoubted from a defensive perspective. However, Rodri is still under a long contract with Manchester City until June 30 2027. Madrid is his hometown so it is possible that one day we will see him in a Real Madrid uniform.

Barcelona has everything they need to show a good game, and they definitely shouldn’t sell anyone right now, because
Flick’s position now is that they can do without new transfers, so it’s not worth selling anyone. I believe that a coach should always maintain a high spirit in the team, even if you know that there are weaknesses in the team, you need to work to strengthen them by developing existing players, only if this is not possible, think about new players. Apparently Flick wants to play with those who are in the team and this is a good choice to start with.

For me no, currently Barcelona could potentially not be able to borrow the Portuguese duo back. Joao Felix is more reliable than Ferran Tores, Cancelo has also contributed quite a bit to Barca. If these two players are not successful in negotiations, Hansi Flick will have to offer another player instead. if Gavi recovers, he could be rotated as a shadow winger. Even so, well, it is very important that Pedri recovers quickly, including De Jong's injury. and, Gundohan remains reliable because of its stability. However, in defense, some of their performance declined last season. Moreover, Araujo could be absent at the start of the competition. on the front line, there are Lewandowski and Yamal. at least, they can be relied on.

But in fact, Barcelona needs several established newcomers. at least, players who are second liners but with almost the same abilities as the main squad. Let's assume that Barcelon will not sell any players in this window, but in fact they need quite competent reserve players in Hansi Flick's squad. If in the end Barcelona doesn't bring in any players in this window, there will be no choice but to look for young talent from the La Masia academy. Next season, will be a challenging season for Hansi Flick. Even though he has a flashy record, that alone is not enough to make Barcelona recover quickly. In the worst case scenario, if Barca doesn't buy players, Hansi Flick's task will increase as he must be able to awaken the potential of every Barcelona player.

Report have it that Matthijs de Ligt have accepted a contract offer from Manchester United, while the Old Trafford club and Bayern Munich are currently discussing on the fee. Considering the report, it's obvious that the Netherlands international will be heading to the Manchester club this summer which I personally think will be a good move for Manchester United after their former defender Raphael Varane left the club.
Folks, I know you're all excited about this De Ligt to Manchester United deal. He's gifted, no doubt. But this kid is leaving Champions League football for... Manchester United? Perhaps he sees something we dont. Ten Hag may have comforted him about leadership and playing time. Manchester United isnt as strong as before. They're building. Not even in Champions League.

De Ligt's a winner. He's a leader. Having that fire in his gut. Will he enjoy Europa League play? Will his couch-watching of the Champions League satisfy him? Not sure. The whole thing makes me think. Are players now more concerned with personal glory than trophies? Do they prioritise playing time over top-level play? No idea.

I hope Im mistaken. I hope De Ligt saves United. I hope he returns them to Champions League. This could be a great move for him, or it could be a huge mistake.

He is one of the best coaches when it comes to making a profit from big players and grooming replacements.

He has profited from selling players but I don't think he did a very good job at managing the team as a strong competitor to Barcelona and Real Madrid. He has managed Atletico Madrid for 13 years and only won La Liga twice. He has other trophies but grading a manager in a league as successful with only two titles is very poor. Outside the league, he might have done other things that he should be praised for but in the league he only has two trophies. If other top managers had only two trophies in 13th years we'll be saying they didn't perform very well. He is a good coach but won't be mentioned as some of the best coaches in La liga history. He should change his style of play and attack more and he might win the league. Defending is no longer the way teams should be playing in modern day football. He should also stop selling his best players and use them to win the league.
Talking about Diego Simeone with Atletico Madrid, he did manage to get a number of benefits and he was also able to maintain his playing form with the players he brought in. However, their game only stopped there, in other words there was no significant improvement. As a team they should develop increasing progress every season, and I don't see that at Atletico Madrid.
This is a note that must be used as evaluation material. They can run their business while continuing to make a profit, but on the other hand they also have to show improvement. Yes they can compete and maintain their position in the top 4, but are they satisfied with just being able to do that? it shouldn't be. Moreover, in the Champions League they are also a team that is also having difficulties. Even when they managed to reach the final they always failed to win and win the Champions League title. They must always carry out evaluations to improve team performance.

I would say that Barcelona need money but they already have a great striker who has a long career ahead of him and can do really well but anyway if they need money they can sell him for crazy prices given his young age and his enormous talent, I think half of Europe is ready to sign him to play with their team

Goal says Barcelona has already reached agreement in principle for Nico Williams. This is wonderful news for Barcelona fans undoubtedly.  Grin

Barcelona only needs to pay for his release clause after agreeing terms verbally with the player. The clause is worth 58 million euros though. Does Barcelona have enough money to pay that sum?

I hope they do because Nico Williams would absolutely be a game changer for them. If they don't they had better sell some players which is worth for Nico. This is the only way Barcelona can compete harder against Real Madrid, by signing solid names.  Smiley
They should have the money because I don't that their financial situation will be that bad to the extent of not affording this amount to bring Nico Williams for the betterment of the team; even though they can't be able to sign more players, with their current young players in their squad, they can manage to be more competitive than expected because going to net season with their current squad without any reinforcement will not be favorable for the team, and the new manager will also find it difficult to get a good result for the team. Therefore, I will be expecting Barcelona to pay for the release clause even by selling players to raise the amount which I think will not be since they would have the money before agreeing to pay for the release clause.

www.barcablaugranes.com

Yes, I agree. Nico Williams is going to be very important for Barcelona if they can actually get him. I believe there are players in the Barcelona squad right now which Barcelona can actually get rid of to make sure that they will be able to get Nico Williams in the squad. Blaugrana better make sure that they finalize the deal. Because of the way he has performed on the international stage recently, a lot of clubs are actually very interested in him. Hansi Flick wouldn’t want to lose him to some other club.

I actually don’t think only signing Nico Williams will be enough for Hansi Flick to actually compete well enough against Real Madrid. They will have to sign more players who are actually very good. Looking at the financial situation of Barcelona, I do not see that happening.

Finally, my expectation is coming true now, and yamal is closer in joining Barcelona. I think joining Barcelona was Nico William's best decision. The way Nico performed in Euro 2024 really impressed many parties (included Laporta). And barcelona has more benefit by having yamal on its side.
This is news good news to hear, I think by now Barcelona can have able to improve their performance back with this one yamal since although that the guy is great players in Europe, let see how him can make turn the team to standard, because their some players that if they where perform better in their clubs once they signed them into another clubs their performance can definitely change badly.
Quote

We know that Yamal was Nico William's bestie. This helps barcelona to pursue him. It seems barcelona now has a project to bring Spanish attackers to the club. Nico can get many benefits from joining in Barcelona. He can advance his career at one of the best clubs in the world and play with his best friends. This will give him much more confidence to pick barcelona instead of another club. Im sure this news is also disappointing many clubs who tried to pursue him such as Arsenal or Chelsea.
Yeah the fact that the news has going around which will actually disappointing some of the clubs, but do include arsenal because arsenal is not a team that can disappoint against any clubs and even in terms of permanence they cannot compare Barcelona to arsenal, we can compare them to Chelsea .
Quote

My prediction is barcelona is gonna be success or equal to the real madrid, at least. As long as they can have nico and yamal on their side. Nico is getting closer, and this is a very good news. And last, Barcelona needs to recruit Olmo from leipzig to complete its squad.
Barcelona performance will more improve since they have great squad now, but with that I don't this only two squads can lead to achieve their success they need to recruit more players again for them to be the gonna of next season.

I think it is a good offer for De Ligt because he will be the leader in the back line. De Ligt will also definitely get regular playing minutes because Erik Ten Haag also really wants him. It is true that all players really want to participate in the Champions League, but if you are patient and choose Manchester United and then are able to make the team rise then the honor will be more beautiful to enjoy.

This is something that every team should be expecting, relying on just one player is not the best thing because one way or the other the player will want to leave when they have a better offer or want to try another league or even in the sooner future the player will reach retirement age. After all the good fortune Messi brought to Barcelona, he left when the time came, same happened to Ronaldo in Real Madrid, so the case of Mbappe shouldn’t be something surprising to Paris-Saint German. Mbappe really played his part well when he was with the team, he has moved on, so should the club also do and look for replacement as soon as possible. His void won’t affect them that much because of the nature of league they’re participating in, not as competitive as other leagues.
They do not rely on him as far as i know. There has not been an excellent result from in a while now who would choose to rely on someone like that. Mbape needs to get out of the club because he is not getting any younger. There are a lot of milestones to achieve and still playing at PSG he wont get other trophies and make big name for himself.

I will agree with you that Mbape literally played his part so well. His team mates were not qualified to work with him because they do not have the same ratings just like him.
While we are having in soccer we have never been able to rely on one player because this is never been going to work and things can go deeply down if someone having mindset like this even we have to blame PSG management to do things which were never been helpful for them to have best results because they never try to have strong team depth they mostly work for star players which give them good brand, but results were never been ideal for them due to no having good chemistry between players which give them better results and trophies as well.

Mbappé was doing his work and this give him and his team good reward as well but at the end when he feels things are not going as they needed then we have change of mind, and they were not able to secure him with now they need changes and improved quality which give them better results even this all is not easy but still we will have some good names here at this club in the future.

I understand Barcelona's financial issues. But selling Araujo, a rising star? Your move is stupid. Short-term cash may be worth it, but long-term gains are lost

Barcelona needs to relax, even though many Europeans are willing to spend. Araujo's monster. Although young and talented, the club clearly dislikes him. Sales tell other young players, "Hey, we don't value your potential, so why should you stay?"

Be clever about it. It's wrong to sell potential stars. Like Bayern Munich selling a young Thomas Müller to buy a canteen coffee machine. Guy, too narrow-minded. Lack of sight
If barcelona is not selling their player and it's a disaster for the club. I know that it will be disappointing to let a rising star like Araujo leave. But, Barcelona's financial issues must be solving as soon as possible. They are in a crisis now, and i tell you some facts that may be pushing Barcelona to sell araujo.

There are a few facts, and these are:

1. Barcelona has not yet registered flick(new coach) in La Liga due to the financial crisis..

2. Barcelona has not yet registered its entire players in La liga.

3. The deal with NIKE is still uncertain, and it's also possible to be delayed again.

There may be more pressures faced by barcelona if they are not trying to raise some money as soon as possible. And registering the coach and entire players their priority now. They must stop being so selfish to keep a superstar to stay.

Again, they cannot take more financial lever. It will hurt them later. The consequences of Barcelona taking on more financial lever is that they will lose their future revenue.

Barcelona has used financial lever a few times last season. They cannot sell all of their future revenue to get instant cash. I know it's very difficult to let one of rising superstar to leave from barcelona.

In the end, that is the only choice owned by barcelona to leave from the financial crisis.

I think Nico Williams is still 21 years old and priced at 58 million euros, which is quite expensive and with the financial problems that Barcelona is currently experiencing, it is very likely that some of their players will be sold.

For now it is a fairness because there are several factors that support when a young player is labeled a high price, including for Nico Williams in this case because seeing from the situation that is happening now apart from the level of value in football transfers is getting crazy because it is not uncommon for players to now cost more than 100 million then indeed for the price of 50 million and below at this time has become a commonplace price so that it will also happen for Nico Williams at this time.

In addition, the hype of the Euro also cannot be released because after all for now Nico is one of the players who brought Spain to the final and even still possible to become champions in this period so it will be a natural thing if in the end Nico will be a player who gets an increase in value. This is not the first time because previously this also happened to Enzo who was bought by Chelsea from Benfica because of the world cup hype so it would be very natural if Nico Williams got a considerable increase in value for now.

Barcelona management doesn't have many choices at the moment, they have to balance the club income and expenses, releasing Araujo may be one of the options that must be implemented. It's true that releasing star players will reduce the quality of the team, especially if they fail to bring in players close to their level, but again that might be the best way to get a little profit and avoid them from FFP sanctions.

Hansi Flick might take advantage of Xavi strategy in building squad depth next season, recruiting free transfer players or borrowing players from other clubs, or the third option is to rely on young players from the La Masia academy. Apart from all that, what Barcelona management is doing is aimed at overcoming the financial crisis, even though fans will feel that this is the mistaken policy.
Due to poor management and having bad decisions making things worst day by day for the Barcelona which is already selling their best assets and things which were giving them good profit for the last few year's now they have to work on few things which give them well-balanced income with having chance of setting good squad which helps them for having better results which is surely not easy and Xavi were going with limited options which works for him, and he was able to have squad which give them second spot in last season now flick must follow him otherwise things can go from bad to worse for them.

Fans are feeling uncertainty and things are going on wrong way so it surely needs to be change but Laporte is having no ability to settle things on merit which is surely hurting them but in coming season we have no realistic things and decisions then surely we will be having another big dilemma for the clubs and fans as well.

Vincent Kompany continues to welcome good players to the Allianz Arena. Joao Palhinha is the player who is rumored to be Bayern Munich's new player from Fulham according to Fabrizio Romano, Palhinha's fee range is €50m plus add-ons.
Palhinha's presence makes midfield competition even tighter.
Is there any news that confirms that defender De Ligt will go to Manchester United?
It's no longer a rumor, but Palhinha has been officially join Bayern Munich now. Bayern Munich spend 51 Million Euros, I think it's a good deal considering he's a defensive midfielder, that position not require a young player.

Bayern Munich really want to win in the next season, on the other hand Leverkusen seems really confident they can protect their position since they haven't sign any good players.

Ten Hag is currently still looking for new players who are considered capable of bringing a lot of changes to their squad next season, after losing several current players and potentially losing several more players, Ten Hag definitely has a tougher job to balance their squad in the next season, the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt is an effort to strengthen their defense next season which is very fragile this season, to be honest, what I'm a little surprised about by Manchester United current transfer movements is that they are continuing to target Dutch players to buy , because previously they have also agreed a personal contract with one of the young players previously played with at Bologna, namely Joshua Zirkzee.

The arrival of Matthijs de Ligt seems to be projected to replace Varane next season, but will the arrival of Matthijs de Ligt be the right solution for Manchester United?
Manchester United had to spend almost 50 million Euros to bring in the central defender, whose position will be replaced by Jonathan Tah at Bayern Munich next season, Manchester United reportedly only need to finalize a few details in the transfer agreement before Matthijs de Ligt joins Old Trafford for a pre-season match.
