Manchester United is moving on with their CB transfers... Branthwaite and de Ligt both are likely to come. However Everton wants a really huge sum so I'm curious about how much the Red Devils is keen on paying that.
It's very obvious manchester united keen to pay everton less than what they wanted. Manchester united has sent the second offer to everton, but it's getting rejected again. The second offer was around £45 million, which is too far from what everton demanded for Branthwaite.
I think Manchester United's effort will be wasted if they keep sending small offers for Branthwaite. Everton is likely open to Manchester United if the next offer is close to the £70m.
Everton's price tag makes sense. Branthwaite carried his club last season and contributed most after Onana. Jarrad Brainthwaite helped the club avoid relegation zone.
Manchester united paid £80 for Meguire, and i don't think everton is trying to rob Manchester united. £70m is reasonable price for Jarrad Brainthwaite.
By the way how's it going with their possible departures? They can raise lots of funds by selling useless big earners in the squad.
Agreed, united break a new bad record last season with most conceded goals in the club's history. It's really unacceptable if they will repeat the same thing in the upcoming season. I have no problems with their attacking line. But, some forwards are likely leaving Manchester United. This follows ten Hag's decision to exclude them from his future project.
I put defensive line as the top priority that must be re-assembled. This is the loophole owning by united, and it's not yet fixed.
United has put 75% of its players up for sale this summer. But, it's hard to find buyers for them because they played so badly last season.
