Report have it that Matthijs de Ligt have accepted a contract offer from Manchester United, while the Old Trafford club and Bayern Munich are currently discussing on the fee. Considering the report, it's obvious that the Netherlands international will be heading to the Manchester club this summer which I personally think will be a good move for Manchester United after their former defender Raphael Varane left the club.

It was a very good decision by Mbappe by forcing his way out to seek a better challenge in order to win more trophies. He has served the club well and i believe it was time for them to depart and this is something PSG should understand and move past him, they need to learn to play without certain players and understand that no player will be with them forever. They should start signing players to replace the lost players even though they can’t perfectly fill their void yet.
A player with a qualified talent must have a wise choice and no wonder Kylian Mbappe chooses to leave PSG in order to have a better future with the right club and it makes no sense to stand up with a rich club but in terms of career can not provide a prestigious experience in the Champions League competition.
PSG as the wealthiest club in league 1, shouldn't be desperate to lose a credible player because the club has a lot of money and can bring a professional player to replace Mbappe's position. Sooner or later PSG will definitely bring professional players that we didn't think of before and maybe players like Osimhen could join PSG.
Money shouldn't always matter so Mbappe made the right decision late. Every other star's first dream is to play in Real Madrid's jersey, Mbappé has received offers from Real Madrid from the start but he has been beaten by PSG's big financial offers every time and has stayed at PSG every time. But this season he has gone against the money, a decision that must be respected because a good club has been able to sign a good player. Mbappe's deal with Real Madrid means Mbappe will single-handedly rule Europe for the coming seasons. If Mbappe doesn't have any injury problems, he will definitely do well for Real Madrid and will be a strong contender for the Ballon d'Or.

Goal says Barcelona has already reached agreement in principle for Nico Williams. This is wonderful news for Barcelona fans undoubtedly.  Grin

Barcelona only needs to pay for his release clause after agreeing terms verbally with the player. The clause is worth 58 million euros though. Does Barcelona have enough money to pay that sum?

I hope they do because Nico Williams would absolutely be a game changer for them. If they don't they had better sell some players which is worth for Nico. This is the only way Barcelona can compete harder against Real Madrid, by signing solid names.  Smiley

Finally, my expectation is coming true now, and yamal is closer in joining Barcelona. I think joining Barcelona was Nico William's best decision. The way Nico performed in Euro 2024 really impressed many parties (included Laporta). And barcelona has more benefit by having yamal on its side.

We know that Yamal was Nico William's bestie. This helps barcelona to pursue him. It seems barcelona now has a project to bring Spanish attackers to the club. Nico can get many benefits from joining in Barcelona. He can advance his career at one of the best clubs in the world and play with his best friends. This will give him much more confidence to pick barcelona instead of another club. Im sure this news is also disappointing many clubs who tried to pursue him such as Arsenal or Chelsea.

My prediction is barcelona is gonna be success or equal to the real madrid, at least. As long as they can have nico and yamal on their side. Nico is getting closer, and this is a very good news. And last, Barcelona needs to recruit Olmo from leipzig to complete its squad.

Vincent Kompany continues to welcome good players to the Allianz Arena. Joao Palhinha is the player who is rumored to be Bayern Munich's new player from Fulham according to Fabrizio Romano, Palhinha's fee range is €50m plus add-ons.
Palhinha's presence makes midfield competition even tighter.
Is there any news that confirms that defender De Ligt will go to Manchester United?

I think Nico Williams is still 21 years old and priced at 58 million euros, which is quite expensive and with the financial problems that Barcelona is currently experiencing, it is very likely that some of their players will be sold.

Actually Barcelona could get a lot of money if they sold some of their potential young players but that is not good for the team for the future, so this is a big dilemma for Barcelona.
It's difficult to build a team without having strong finances, especially as their rival Real Madrid is now growing fast enough that Barcelona is required to be able to keep up.

Nico Williams and Yamal showed quite good performances during the Euro event with Spain, if they were partnered again in the Barcelona team, it is quite possible for these two young players to improve the performance of the Barcelona team.

Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

I would say that Barcelona need money but they already have a great striker who has a long career ahead of him and can do really well but anyway if they need money they can sell him for crazy prices given his young age and his enormous talent, I think half of Europe is ready to sign him to play with their team

Barcelona has everything they need to show a good game, and they definitely shouldn’t sell anyone right now, because
Flick’s position now is that they can do without new transfers, so it’s not worth selling anyone. I believe that a coach should always maintain a high spirit in the team, even if you know that there are weaknesses in the team, you need to work to strengthen them by developing existing players, only if this is not possible, think about new players. Apparently Flick wants to play with those who are in the team and this is a good choice to start with.

Currently it is reported that they have reached an agreement with Bilbao to complete the transfer, Nico Williams, who previously reached an agreement to extend his contract with Bilbao and has made Bilbao include a release clause which is actually quite low for a talented player like him, So far we know that Barcelona is in financial condition. which is quite bad but in the last few days, Laporta said that they have enough financial capacity to buy and redeem Nico Williams from Bilbao at this time.

Previously nico williams had continued to be linked with Barcelona, but I thought it was just an issue that had no truth in it, but in fact Barcelona really wanted to build their team next season by relying on talented young players and Nico William was one of the targets from Hansi Flick there is will be in their attack line next season, so far Nico Williams is one of the players who has appeared quite consistently with Bilbao and Spain at the moment, so it is not surprising that many teams are trying to recruit him at the moment, but as you said, it is Barcelona who are currently are at the forefront of getting it now.

Selling talented players is not a good solution, now Barcelona has a lot of potential young players and that is good enough for the future of the team, and I don't think that they should sell them just to get fresh money.
It is better for Barcelna to retain their potential young players for the future.

However, regarding Araujo, he no longer feels at home at Barcelona, so it's only natural that the team sells him.
As it stands Barca might not just have any choice than to just sell some of their talented stars just to get players for Hansi Flick in more key areas though still picking on these players on priority, since Araujo won`t find it hard leaving Camp Nou I guessed they will have to sell him especially from the fact that they will be gaining alot from the sale. Though I still think Barca main concern now is changing their spending limit, which I guessed is 1 x 3 spending to 1 x 1.

Even though I think Araujo's performance is quite good at Barcelona, maybe the club sees the benefits of a free transfer player being a high-value player at this time, but I don't think there will be a club that dares to bid at the market price of say 70 million but below 50 million maybe some other clubs will consider it.

Because we know Barcelona is a club that is experiencing a financial crisis so to meet those needs they have to sell some valuable players, and it could be that they want to bring in a new striker who is already on the club's radar.
Who do you think is the new striker that is currently on Barcelona's radar that could make Barcelona sell some of their good players at such high prices to other teams in order to fulfill the needs of the current Barcelona team? But if the player you want to sell is a player who will have free transfer status, of course the steps taken by Barcelona will not be wrong because Barcelona itself really needs more money to be able to make a comeback that is so important next season.

I think selling Ronald Araujo should be a serious option to think for Barcelona. I haven't liked his general performance so far. But his current value is still a whopping 70 million euros.  Shocked

He was signed for only around 5 million euros before. That would be a huge profit if Barcelona sell him for no less than his current market value.  Smiley  The only thing I don't know is how much money they can add to their transfer budget from player sales right now... I mean by percentage. If they are able to add between 50% - 100%, it is really good despite their current financial status. They can use player sales to buy better players.

There are several things we don't understand so the club has to release players, in this case I suspect Barcelona needs money for operations or targeting a new striker. Barcelona has brought in Ronald Araujo since 2020 with free transfer status and and now Ronald Araujo market value reaches 70 Million clearly profitable for Barcelona.
Not targeting a new striker, but it looks like Barcelona is desperate to be able to redeem Nico Williams' release clause of 58 million euros from Bilbao. He is a very special left winger and we can see his duet with Lamine Yamal in Spain and the two of them always cook their opponents.

Ronald Araujo is still a mystery because he is not very sure that he wants to stay at Barcelona and maybe he will be bigger if he accepts an offer from Bayern Munich. But I don't know whether the offer is still there or not, but what is clear is that with the sale of Ronald Araujo, Barcelona can bring in Nico Williams very easily.

I love what Athletic Bilbao is doing, Bilbao knows the value of the player and that is why they don’t want to leave the player for any team, although the player would also like to play for Barcelona but the player also wants to be the hero of Bilbao by playing for the team and win them trophies, Bilbao really like Williams and his brother and they are willing to keep them as the future players of the club, Barcelona president said that economically they can afford Williams jr, for me that sounds funny because they are going to spend a lot of money and at the end, they will continue complaining about not having enough money to sign more players.

Barcelona only likes players that they will spend a huge amount of money on and in the end they will regret it, I didn’t see anything wrong for signing the player but I think Barcelona should not spend money on the player because they are just a team that is recovering from financial problems, signing the player will make them lose money, it will be good if Barcelona use their players since Ansu Fati is back from loan and a player like Raphina, Torres yamal are there they should use them to make the team performance look good and win even a single trophy next season.
I mean looking at how great he is, 60 million range isn't that much to ask, he definitely deserves it and Barcelona has been cheeky with transfers lately, they are trying to make the player want to come, and make the player pressure their club to get there too. They should keep him as long as they can until a team with money comes with an offer for real, letting the player dictate where he wants to go, and making the team lose money because of that isn't a good method.

The only downside is that by the team Nico is out of contract, if Barcelona is still interested, and Nico is interested too, then he would just not renew his contract and would leave for free, which is what most teams fear and that is why they sell cheaper.

It's very obvious manchester united keen to pay everton less than what they wanted. Manchester united has sent the second offer to everton, but it's getting rejected again. The second offer was around £45 million, which is too far from what everton demanded for Branthwaite.

I think Manchester United's effort will be wasted if they keep sending small offers for Branthwaite. Everton is likely open to Manchester United if the next offer is close to the £70m.

Everton's price tag makes sense. Branthwaite carried his club last season and contributed most after Onana. Jarrad Brainthwaite helped the club avoid relegation zone.

Manchester united paid £80 for Meguire, and i don't think everton is trying to rob Manchester united. £70m is reasonable price for Jarrad Brainthwaite.

Manchester United pursuit is of Jarrowd Banthwaite is definitely genuine, the lad was supposed to be their first signing of the season but with the way things are moving he might end up not been able to come again. Branthwaitre has a had a very good season with Everton who fought against relegation amidst all kind of problems. The last season was Just the second season of football for Branthwaite. The £70m can be okay for an any very proven player instead of a raw talent like this.

Everton are actually stretching the deal because they want almost same amount gotten for Maguire. They do not know that the new Manchester United board is not like the one headed by Woodward then. This current board are looking for quality too but they are clear they are not going to splash the money around.

Barcelona has no idea to get money, selling their current players is the only option. Although it looks not an effective way to strengthen their squad, but it is the only reasonable solution for now. Barcelona is in urgent for a new striker because they no longer can rely on Lewandowski. Meanwhile for center-backs, Barcelona has many options. Selling Ronald Araujo won't bring impact to the team. Eric García has returned from Girona, Barcelona also has new young center backs such as Pau Cubarsí and Mikayil Faye. I think Barcelona can also sell Clément Lenglet, because he is not really important for the club.

Barcelona has many midfielders. They may decide to sell 1-2 players in that position. I'm sure Barcelona will never be in crisis of midfielders because they always have many talented midfielders from their academy.

Barcelona has brought in Ronald Araujo since 2020 with free transfer status and and now Ronald Araujo market value reaches 70 Million clearly profitable for Barcelona.

The fact is that Barca is broke and needs money to make the team more effective. Selling players to make more funds is not a good option because the club also needs these players. It will not be a bad decision to sell Ronald Araujo and make some profit, but do they have a replacement plan? They would have to identify another quality player to replace him and players are not cheap.

If you sell players without replacement, the club will make money but the quality will decline. One of the foremost coaches in La Liga who has successfully balanced increasing profit and balancing team quality is Diego Simeone. He is one of the best coaches when it comes to making a profit from big players and grooming replacements.
Barcelona management doesn't have many choices at the moment, they have to balance the club income and expenses, releasing Araujo may be one of the options that must be implemented. It's true that releasing star players will reduce the quality of the team, especially if they fail to bring in players close to their level, but again that might be the best way to get a little profit and avoid them from FFP sanctions.

Hansi Flick might take advantage of Xavi strategy in building squad depth next season, recruiting free transfer players or borrowing players from other clubs, or the third option is to rely on young players from the La Masia academy. Apart from all that, what Barcelona management is doing is aimed at overcoming the financial crisis, even though fans will feel that this is the mistaken policy.

This is something that every team should be expecting, relying on just one player is not the best thing because one way or the other the player will want to leave when they have a better offer or want to try another league or even in the sooner future the player will reach retirement age. After all the good fortune Messi brought to Barcelona, he left when the time came, same happened to Ronaldo in Real Madrid, so the case of Mbappe shouldn’t be something surprising to Paris-Saint German. Mbappe really played his part well when he was with the team, he has moved on, so should the club also do and look for replacement as soon as possible. His void won’t affect them that much because of the nature of league they’re participating in, not as competitive as other leagues.
They do not rely on him as far as i know. There has not been an excellent result from in a while now who would choose to rely on someone like that. Mbape needs to get out of the club because he is not getting any younger. There are a lot of milestones to achieve and still playing at PSG he wont get other trophies and make big name for himself.

I will agree with you that Mbape literally played his part so well. His team mates were not qualified to work with him because they do not have the same ratings just like him.
