Tottenham definitely have nothing against other than to actually extend SON contract he is currently one of the best they can have at his position, should they let him leave I don’t think they will get someone of his caliber that will be willing to join this team, Tottenham are a club that any player looking for major trophies will not like to join. Son to me wasted his chances at Tottenham and right now I don’t think he will be sorted after like that again so signing new contract is actually the best thing
Son has become the 2nd icon after Harry Kane at Tottenham so if Tottenham is without Son, I am not sure the club can be better. Son contribution to the club is amazing even though the club is inconsistent, but Son has lasted long enough. There is no other choice for Tottenham because extending his contract is the only best solution.

Yes but until now it has not been his best season. He knows he can do better than that. But he is still the captain of Tottenham Hotspurs. But I understand that his physical condition obviously hasn't been the best as he has already missed a couple of games due to injuries. He is trying to cope with his quads from what I read and it seems to be a recurring problem, which makes it complicated for him. Players who have to cope with recurring injuries in the same body part can also lose confidence in their body over time, which makes a big difference for any player. There is always this uncomfortable feeling that if you accelerate, the quads may get injured again. But if they can fix his problems, he is a player who can quickly get back into the best player possible.

It's very disappointing to see him waste his career at a trophyless club like Tottenham. He could do better at a bigger club. But, this time, he's 32 years old, and impossible to search for a big club that interested in recruit him as a new player.

What a wasteful talent. I was hoping him to follow Park Ji Sung's path, but he's failed.
He's already in his early 30s, and his chances of receiving a solid deal at a top club are minimal. He passed up two good opportunities to extend his contract at Tottenham, which I believe was his worst mistake. Also, I consider those individuals as less ambitious.

He learned nothing from Harry Kane, who nearly ruined his career at Tottenham before leaving. Son needs a better club, where he can at least win a silver medal.
He spent 10 years of his career with Tottenham and that is an extraordinary loyalty for player, now at the age of 32 he still shows the intensity of his playing skills which are still quite good.
Moreover, Son still wants to play with Tottenham and he is waiting for contract extension but there are some people who say that Son is actually not suitable for Tottenham because with his ability he can join big team that might give him better career and achievement than before.
Who knows what he is thinking that he still wants to stay but that is his own choice.

Son Heung-min has been an excellent investment for Tottenham on and off the pitch is an investment that Tottenham has benefited much from. And therefore, to retain a player like Son is not only possible to strengthen the quality of the squad, but also achieve permanent development. If a new contract is possible that could be the time when the club could show everyone its intention of constructing a team which can attract other talents. At the same time, it is significant for us acknowledge Son’s commitment during the season and back any action to help reached a middle ground between the club and the player.

I think extending the contract one more time would be the right cal if it is possible and I doubt that Son Heung-min will decide against it. Tottenham, although they are not in the best condition this season, is a great club and they are financially solid enough to pay a big salary to him and he can probably sign a 3 year contract with them. I don't see many reasons why he would consider leaving Tottenham unless there is an unfulfilled dream like playing in La Liga and he gets an offer from there. Otherwise he knows all the benefits that come with a new contract and Tottenham knows that as well. A great personality and a great player and he is now 32, which means this is the last big contract he is going to sign. So why not end his high level career with the club that he has now been playing for for almost a decade.

Ruben Amorim will certainly overhaul the Manchester United line-up again, adjusting to his strategic needs. Maybe that won't happen in January, and will be more freely done in the upcoming summer transfer market. Expectations for Ruben Amorim look very high, hopefully this is not just a momentary sensation.

I think Gyökeres is one of the 3 fittest strikers in the world right now and will continue to score goals no matter which club he goes to. If Manchester United sign him, they will have done a very important job. Together with Amorim he will continue to fly. Don't underestimate the Portuguese league, it's not easy to score goals there. To score with such a percentage and almost every game is a different skill. I think Gyökeres at United has the potential to be like Haaland at City.
There are many things that must be built and managed by Amorim at Man United. And according to Pallister himself, Man United does lack a CF that is more productive in scoring goals. That's why this is what makes the hot topic of who will be looked for in the January transfer window. For now, Viktor Gyokeres is the most rumored to follow Amorim, but if that happens, don't be like what Ten Hag did, not being able to optimize the potential of players with very high prices.

It is undeniable that Viktor Gyokeres' performance at Sporting is quite interesting. The 26-year-old CF has managed to score 23 goals and 4 assists in all matches this season. However, his current market value is already quite high at €70.00m. Actually this is quite worth it, Gyokeres is one of the sharp strikers for now, if Amorim can really unite himself with the squad at Man United and make it solid, it is possible that this will succeed in strengthening Man United's front line. However, this should not be a gamble again like what Ten Hag did before.

I think the South Korean player will have his contract extended because he has done so much for Tottenham. Maybe he is one of the players who deserves to retire with the Tottenham jersey. Another one was Harry Kane who went to Bayern Munich. After Harry Kane left the team, Son seems to be performing less. However, he is still scoring goals with Tottenham this year. Maybe he should accept a contract extension at the end of the season. When you think about it from Tottenham's perspective, it is definitely necessary to keep an experienced and quality player like him in the squad.

Son is at a point in his career where he should be pushing for a move to leave Tottenham. He has spent most of his career at Tottenham and he has been a world-class player every year but he gets very little recognition because of the kind of team Tottenham is. He has no trophy to his name which is not something that a player of his quality should suffer. 'He is a player that would be sought after by a lot of top European clubs. Clubs that actually want to win some silverware.
Some people might say "football is not all about trophies". Yea, I understand that, but I years to come when people who didn't watch talk about him, he won't be rated as much because he doesn't have any club trophy to his name.
Indeed, it is only fitting for Son to seek a new club that can offer him the opportunity to lift a trophy at the end of the season. Almost every player has the grand ambition of winning trophies, and realistically, Tottenham is not on that trajectory. Harry Kane left Tottenham for this very reason, even though he failed to win a trophy with Bayern Munich in his first season. I believe Son should consider this perspective, especially while his age and goal-scoring prowess still attract interest from top European clubs.

Regardless of this, Son might still be quite happy playing for Tottenham and may not be interested in finding a new club, despite not being as fortunate as other players in his career due to a lack of major trophies. Individual awards are not enough to garner widespread recognition, as the number of trophies will always be the primary factor considered in a player's career.

I have good news for Tottenham fans because recently Tottenham has starting to activate Son Heung-min clause and it says under his current contract Tottenham has a right that they can able to extended Son Heung-min contract for 1 year and currently the process is still on going which possibly he will stayed at Tottenham until 2026 and Son Heung-min contract will be expired on June 2025 and some speculation are appears regarding his future because previously there was a rumour Son Heung-min will leave Tottenham this summer but apparently these rumours is not true and most likely Son Heung-min will be stayed at Tottenham for much longer

Source : https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1856775036117684572

This player Son have served this very club for long and still no trophy to show for and with the number of good players they had then even till now they can't even stay at the top 4 for a longer period. Son played with Harry Kane still nothing to celebrate as a trophy and this two players made the attacking department stronger than it is now so I don't even think Son should consider staying, he deserves better than what he is receiving, a more productive club should come for him.
Since his contract is expiring next year I hope he won't start thinking of extending his contract for another 2-3 years, to me Tottenham is a failed club and they can't win any trophy but if eventually they manage to get a trophy this season then it would be one of there greatest achievement and they should be thankful to the manager because I see a productive outcome in his stay at Tottenham Hotspur.

It's very well said. Son has always been carrying his club, but still no trophy for him. He is just another kane now.

A player who dedicated everything to the club really deserve something other than the normal individual award like the highest goal scorer, like those kind are not what someone like Son needs, on like Kane who won that award so many times but still no trophy that's attached to it and I don't think we have to see Son as another Kane, it would be disturbing to those who love him.
Honestly speaking, Tottenham is a cursed club, the only time Tottenham was suppose to win a trophy (I believe they would have won it under Mourinho) was in 2021 I think when it was just few days to the final and they decided to sack Mourinho, I think it was the FA Cup, ever since then nothing close to any finals for Tottenham Hotspur.
About the age of Son, I agree with you because he has already past that stage when he was suppose to leave and join a better club but now is only clubs like Nottingham Forest, Fulham, Southampton and the other smaller clubs in England that can seek for his services. But let's see how things will turn out for him with this new manager.

Actualy, it would be better for Manchester United to recruit a proven striker, Viktor Gyokeres looks like a gamble just like Hojlund. Maybe he could only play well with Sporting CP, and will have difficulty adapting to the Premier League, Ruben Amorim needs to consider carefully if he wants to attract his former player to Old Trafford. Financially, Manchester United seems able to pay the release clause for Viktor Gyokeres, even though they have to let go of some of their players first.

I think Sporting CP knows that Amorim is going to come for Viktor Gyokeres. The price tag of the player is high but it’s nothing that Manchester United cannot afford to spend in the transfer market for a striker like Viktor Gyokeres. In my opinion,  Gyokeres is better than Hojlund and would prove to be a good addition to the team. If Manchester United are serious about having a fresh start, they should look into investing in new players.

Pogba to United would actually make incredible sense, but not entirely sure when he could technically start playing as well. At the current moment he is still serving his time, plus Juventus deal has to be done, and all of that done before they can register him, so that they can register him.

I would say realistic comeback for Pogba could be when new season starts honestly, even if he joins another team, not entirely sure if they will end up with getting a win or not neither, feels like it is not going to be something that can be done, he will probably not going to play during this period. I believe that we are going to see this change coming for next season. He needs to just keep training and keep being in shape, and next season will be his big comeback.

there is no way Manchester United is not going to get him again; Especially since he has stayed away from football for such a long time. As he has been banned, there is also a certain stigma that comes with his name. I don't think Manchester United would like to make any controversial decisions at this moment. Especially when it seems like they have finally started to perform well again. But at the end of the day, he is a free agent and if the club is able to get him and actually play him legally, and if he is actually able to perform well for his club, I don't think anyone is going to have any problems. But that is a lot of ‘’if’s”.

I'm not as confident as you about Pogba honestly.  Tongue  Because his career is full of injuries you know. Especially in his last years, he couldn't even play football properly and this doping ban came later on. Otherwise I don't doubt his talent even a bit. We could have been talking about him in a much more different way now if it weren't for those long times being away from professional football...

When he is back by March (if I'm not mistaken), I will be curious to see for whom he will play. He will really need a solid training to be ready for busy schedules of European teams. I'm saying it by hoping to see him not leaving Europe yet.
I am sure that we are going to see them have a big change eventually, shouldn't really be a big deal for Pogba to be a veteran player, he doesn't have to play all 90 minutes at every single game anymore. I am sure that he will still want to, but he doesn't have to and he could be a bench player. Look at Modric for example, he plays as much as he can and that's a great thing but if Modric leaves today, they still have other players to replace him, not as good as Modric used to be, but at least not unprepared neither.

Same for Pogba, he should go to a team where he could start the games, play for like 60-70 minutes or whatever, and then be subbed out, or even better, for some other games just start at bench and then get subbed in at 70th minute or so and that would be a lot better for everyone. This shouldn't really be a big deal at all, I am sure that it could happen but we are going to have to wait for everyone to do get a bit of a time to reach there.

Talking about transfer strategy, Florentino Perez is considered one of the best, we can see how the Real Madrid President brought in Mbappe on a free transfer. Los Blancos have a good bargaining value in the eyes of any player, every player certainly has a desire to join Santiago Bernabeu. Simply put, Ancelotti only needs to submit a proposal, the President will take care of everything. Overall, it cannot be denied that Florentino Perez and Ancelotti are quite genius in their respective roles. In my opinion, Real Madrid will recruit new players in the January transfer market, it is an urgent need, due to injuries to a number of players.
Florentino Perez knows well how to make a smart deal with new players. He doesn't hurry to sign new players, he only sign players who has reasonable prices (transfer fees). When Mbappe has transfer fees above €200m, Florentino Perez prefers to wait for his contract expires. Perez doesn't blindly sign a player with overprice.

Sure. Real Madrid has a great popularity. Almost every player has a dream to join Real Madrid. So, it is not difficult to bargain the salary and attract the new players joining Real Madrid. In same cases, Real Madrid successfully reached the personal agreement with the new players before Real Madrid gets an agreement about the transfer fees with their clubs.

Ancelotti is a typical coach who wants to sign a player if it is very needed only. However, with many injured players, it is possible that Ancelotti tries to sign new players in the next transfer windows. At least, Ancelotti needs new players in defense line. Militao, Carvajal, and Tchouaméni seems to take a rest for a long time. These players need the replacement because the season is still far from the end and Real Madrid still has many big matches.

Paul Pogba is currently certainly waiting for offers from clubs in the European league before he decides to leave European football, amidst rumors circulating that Al Nassr and Inter Miami are interested in this player, I heard that there are English league clubs interested in him, although they are not the top clubs that we expect because the clubs that are associated are Aston Villa, Bournemouth and West Ham. He will be a free transfer so he just has to choose where he will go, in my opinion it is better to continue his career in the European league than to leave the European league.
I think Paul Pogba need to stay in Europe. Still he had a lot of greatness and quality. It doesn't matter that he has not played since 2 years ago but all of the football fans are the witnesses that Paul Pogba is one of the best midfielders in the world. Paul Pogba can bring back his great face of quality by staying in Europe. There are many clubs that need a midfielder like Pogba, so if he stays in Europe, he can continue his career in a better way. And if he goes to Saudi Arabia or MLS and leaves Europe, he can definitely earn a lot of money in Saudi Arabia. But could not earn the love and patience that people in Europe gave him. There are many clubs in Premier League who are very keen to sign Paul Pogba. So I think Paul Pogba should go to Premier League instead of Al Nassar or MLS. Still he is 32 years old, he still has a lot of talent with which he can restart his career and add can himself in top midfielder list

In my opinion, Neymar will not stay at Al Hilal next year. Because the team paid him a lot of money without getting any benefit from him. From the team's perspective, they could have bought a few more star players with the money they would have given him. Neymar, on the other hand, is continuing his life comfortably. Because he is getting his salary despite being injured. We all know how astronomical his salary is. That's why I think the team will let him go when his contract ends.

I think the team knows better the deal they signed Neymar for, if they wanted more players they would have gone for others before bringing him. Neymar is a celebrity because of his awesomeness and fame, just like Ronaldo made Al Nasr popular, that's what Neymar did for Al Hilal, put them on some recognition. The only difference between him and Ronaldo is the time to play, I'm sure they even know better about the history of his injuries before buying him.

As long as there is no official statement from the club, he is going to stay until the end of his contract and the team is going to keep him. Nobody kw going to buy a liability because to me, that's what he is right now to any one around him. It will be inhuman to even sell an asset that is not fit in any transfer market, he is either going to heal before sold prior to the end of his contract or not sold until the contract expiry.

This is really confusing me. Florentino Perez is usually very active when the transfer window is available, and Carlo Ancelotti on the other hand will remain very quiet. So it is quite strange if Florentino Perez prevents Ancelotti from being active in the January transfer window, even though it is obvious that the Real Madrid squad needs additional power and talents so that they can face the competition with a good chance and confidence.

Could it be that Real Madrid doesn't have much budget left? or is it just part of their strategy, so they can quietly make deals without any interference from other clubs?

Managers talk about transfers all the time. But it's always the president of the club who makes the transfer. I think Ancelotti strengthens the club president's hand by keeping silent during the transfer window. Also, he sends a message to the outside that they are a harmonious duo. Also, talking about transfers when the club is in negotiations can give leverage to the other side. I think they are using a good strategy. I'm sure they talk to each other about it. They are both very experienced.
Talking about transfer strategy, Florentino Perez is considered one of the best, we can see how the Real Madrid President brought in Mbappe on a free transfer. If Real Madrid were to buy an attacking player in this regard, they would be criticized a lot. Because they still leave their talented attacking players on the bench and do not play them. What Real Madrid needs is a maestro like Toni Kroos who can manage the team in the midfield. If they can bring this to the team, then no one can stop Real Madrid. The team also needs a right back. After Real Madrid overcomes these deficiencies, they can return to the destructive Real Madrid impression we expect, know and have.

Son Heung-Min have been one of the most outstanding players of Tottenham Hotspur in the last decade and have maintained a good relationship with the club management and fans so I don't think his future with the club will be that debatable. Son's current contract expires at 2025 summer but has a clause in his contract that allows Tottenham Hotspur to further extend to extra one year. I think both parties will peacefully arrive to an agreeable terms on or before the end of the current season and decide if he'll remain for another year or leave by next summer.
