Salah extended his contract with Liverpool, and Van Dijk says that he himself does not know what awaits him in the future. It seems to me that Liverpool would not like to let go of their captain, but now it will depend not only on their desire, perhaps it will depend on the terms of the contract that they offer him.

I think that Van Dijk understands his importance for the team, in addition to being a leader and captain, he is also a fundamental player for Liverpool. In addition, it is not clear what will happen to Alexander-Arnold, whether he will stay or want to go to Real, and this will also weaken the defense.

No, Salah hasn't extended his contract yet. But some sources are telling that Arne Slot talked about some contract talks for him, Trent and van Dijk all. I wonder how this is going to end... Honestly I feel like Trent will sign for Real Madrid.

Not surprised... Jamie Gittens is an amazing talent. It is fun to watch him making big difficulties for his opponents on the left wing.  Smiley  He scores a lot and makes many assists. This is absolutely the kind of youngster you would like to see in your team.

I don't think he would like to stay in case of failing to join the Champions League. Apart from these teams, I'm curious about whether Manchester City would like their old player back as well. You know Dortmund got him for free from Manchester City youth years ago.

Vinicius reportedly rejected the first offer of a contract renewal, does that sound excessive? Maybe Vinicius wants a higher salary, but let's remember that Florentino Perez is not someone who can be pressured so easily, if Vinicius really wants to stay in Madrid then he must lower his ego. Don't let bad things happen to him because it is possible that he could be kicked if he disappoints Perez.

https://x.com/MadridXtra/status/1887912669983768876

I'm going to fucking gutted if Madrid lost Vini just because they can't give what he wanted. However, he's still under contract until 2027, and plenty of time for Madrid to extend his contract. I thought it's related to the salary problem.

They gave a lot to mbappe, while he came as a new player, and Vini wanted it. That's why they're strying to restructure his salary and raise it, but most probably their first offer is not satisfying Vini. THat's why he rejected it.

The news about Mohamed Salah & Virgil van Dijk  extending their contract is fake. Coach Arne Slot has confirmed that both players have not extended their contracts. The news about thier next move is shredded in secrecy, maybe we might have to wait till the end of the season to know their next move..

Alexander-Arnold has indicated his interest to leave Liverpool and it has also been rumoured that Real Madrid will be his next destination. For now these players are having a good time and helping Livepool to keep fighting to win trophies this season.

It's definitely fake, the team will not approved a contract just like that because usually when a player is to renew his contract, the both parties I.e Liverpool agents and the players camp will come to an agreed terms and conditions, seeing how Liverpool are doing well with high chance of winning the league, Salah and Van Dijk will demand for more increase but the team will not add anything yet unless they see the end of the season result.

The new deal is going to be after this season or towards the end of it. Salah will want to ask for more fees and so is Dijk because they fee of the players that are putting the team on the right place. There is no Liverpool without Mohammed Salah and Van Dijk unless the club want them to go another club because I'm very sure that Salah will be quickly snatch by Saudi clubs and they will be willing to pay him huge amount of money considering where he is coming from Egypt.
Liverpool at the moment is in their best form the the currency leagues results in strongly in their favor which is why we must act accordingly if we have Liverpool management will only accept offers that come out of outstanding performance and results so before they consider any increase for either Salah and the rest of the clubs players their will first of all wait to see what the players bring to the table at the end of the day.
I wouldn't blame any club for disposing of their player based on many factors but it would be unwise if some clubs disposed some certain players like Salah, Liverpool would be foolish to do that. It cost the guy nothing at his age and with his good reputation and decoration in football to move to Saudi where he even understands their culture and religion better than most star players moved from the European league there. Initially, I believe it was a pay rise that caused his speculation to move out but as things stand now, his contract and that of Virgil van Dijk have been renewed for better. I wonder what Liverpool would look like without the duo.

Yes Real Madrid is being smart about how they spend money on new players. Even though they have a lot of money they do not spend too much.
I agree if you say that Real Madrid is very smart in spending money to buy new players, Management is more dominant in bringing in quality free agent players to increase the strength of the team. Most of the money Real Madrid spends on buying young players is as a long-term investment.

Instead of this they focus on helping young players get better. Coach Ancelotti is giving young players chance to play and it is working well. This helps players learn and get experience. By using players from their own team Real Madrid avoids buying players who might not play much. This helps team be its best. Ancelotti focus on helping young players will likely help team succeed in future.
I disagree if you say Ancelotti gives young players a chance to hone their skills like Hansi Flick did for Barcelona players. Arda Güler and Endrick were brilliant in the win over Celta Vigo at CDR, but after that they were rarely used, they showed their quality again after being given a chance in the win over Leganes.
Since the Ancelotti era, players from the academy have rarely been promoted to the first team.

Virgil Van Dijk, Mohammed Salah, Trent Alexander Arnold, they are all still looking for a contract at Liverpool and looks like they may not even get it. I am not 100% certain what Liverpool is thinking about the situation, why they are doing this, I am not so sure if they have some financial trouble, nobody really talks about the reason and that's the issue. I would understand even if there was a bad reason, like we would say that's a stupid reason to not resign these players, but at least we would have a reason for it.

However, when we look at this, I believe we are going to end up with much worse situation at the time, and because of that we are not going to really end up with anything that makes too much sense, in the end, we need to just assume that it will be a very tough deal in the end.

Real Madrid is one of the teams with healthier finances, they do not easily spend money to recruit players even though the club is in dire need of ammunition, their coach Ancelotti is believed to be able to build a young squad that does not have much experience so that they have the opportunity to play on the field and show their talents like Arda Guller now he is starting to be used often by Ancelotti as a second-string player and maybe for the defense area Ancelotti will also do the same thing, he gives the opportunity for reserve players to fill the gap between main players so that those sitting on the bench can experience a longer period of experience with Real Madrid, because it would be useless if the club bought players but most of them only sat on the bench.

Real Madrid could be described as a club that is very prudent when it comes to formulating strategies on teaming up with other clubs. It is able to realise the potential of the acquired talent within the team instead of investing excessively in star players. Extending young players is a measure that is indicative of full confidence in the idea of regeneration of the team. This without a doubt has an advantage towards the individual players as well as the whole team. This means that young players are in better standing to handle the competitions of a higher level as a result of their play. With the guidance of a certain leader on the bench, such as Ancelotti, this makes it as a solid foundation on which Real Madrid would be able to build for further challenging and forging a future success.

Yeah, Liverpool is a fucking joke. They have not yet extending the contracts of their important players. If they were only concerning about their ages, it's totally unfair compared to the what Dijk has contributed to the club.

he also shows how loyal he was to the club, and it's fuckin no way to see them to let him go.

I'd rather choose to kick other player instead of him, and Salah. I believe all of liverpool fans are not willing to see him leave.

He must stay for another season.

I still don't see this happening in the near future. Real Madrid has just been unlucky that one of their major centerbacks Éder Militão has been on and off for some time now but on a good day when he is available. It feels like they don't need any signing on that department.

Maybe they will attempt to groom some lads that can step in when one of the seniors is injured. Spending that much to sign a huge centreback just to bench another top player in the long run would be crazy IMO.
They really need a good squad for this season even though they have their main players. Having a number of good players will allow Ancelotti to rotate and play them in turns. Now the crucial point is that Real Madrid are a little bit weaker in the defensive area and that makes it difficult for Real Madrid to face the competition in the competition. The young players don't have the experience and it will be difficult for them to face the big games so the target of retaining the Champions League title will be difficult.

Money is not a problem for Real Madrid because they have enough finances but they are trying to build the team strength by relying on young players for the long term and maybe this is what makes them not get the players they are looking for in the transfer market.

Madrid definitely do need sign a center back next summer and it shouldn’t be just any signings but a marquee signing Also, to me this Saliba is definitely the player that has this flair that makes me think he is the right choice for Real Madrid. Just as you might have said the current defenders registered in Madrid and were exceptional good in their days but right now with the repeatedly injured I think they have to cash on a new center. Saliba is easily one to fill this position to me and couple with his age, this is one signing that will he both present and future. Van Dyke was offered to real Madrid by his agent but the club actually didn’t want that and it might be because of his age which is very much understandable. Real Madrid seems to be after young players and more reason why they went after current Manchester United player LenY Yoro.

As for Maybe the deal will materialize. I will say no one actually get to reject Real Madrid, they were able to price away Ronaldo at his peak away from the best club in the Europe then. So for Saliba it will be an easy decision more so that Arsenal are definitely not looking like a club were he could land a major trophy so I think even personal terms will not be a problem. I also value Saliba at £80m at least although it could me more with the hype around him currently

Real Madrid's priority target is revealed. They're putting Saliba transfer as their priority during the summer transfer season. I totally agreed to target him, and signing him will help club to have perfect defense. However, i'm doubting Saliba to accept it, and will call him as the dumbest player if he rejects Madrid.

If he chooses to stay at Arsenal, he deserved to be blamed as someone who has no motivation to step up.

Benjamin Sesko still remains to be a target to be signed by Arsenal as it seems. But there are so many rumours out there about them. Just like they are said to be prepared to make a record-breaking offer for Lautaro Martinez.  Wink  But as far as I can remember he already stated that he would stay with Inter for long years. The contract extension was also confirming his statement. This is why I don't think he would like to leave his team just yet...

Honestly I think Sesko is a wonderful target.  Roll Eyes  He is only 21 years old with so much potential as a CF. This is the kind of a striker Arsenal would make use of. They already like to sign talented youngsters such as him. If this doesn't happen they should go for Gyökeres.
Arsenal has been targeting Benjamin Sesko for a long time but there are controversies surrounding his transfer. As reports have it, Arsenal are preparing a record breaking offer for Lautaro Martinez, however it's unlikely that Inter Milan will accept the offer given the fact that Lautaro Martinez has been one of their standout players and a key contributor to the club's success selling such an important player cannot be possible as Inter Milan aim to maintain their dominance in Serie A and in European competitions.

Yes, even Alexander-Arnold couldn’t refuse Real, although he is leaving his home club and the league that is advertised as the best (and maybe it is), plus from the club that will take gold this year. It would be absolute madness to stay at Arsenal and probably spend the rest of his life regretting titles that can be won with Real (but impossible with Arsenal).

If Mohammed Salah decides to stay back at Liverpool then it's his choice and for me alone i don't see why any player will choose to move out of a team he is performing well just to move to another team due to the money they will offer to pay him. If a player is not facing any challenge with his teammates or the head coach why moving out of a comfort zone to a new team that will literally take a lot of time before he can adapt to their nature of play which some players can even find it difficult at the initial time. For Virgil Van Dijk, it is certain that the club is going to extend his contract because of his outstanding role as a center back defender.
There are several reasons why a player moves from one team to another even though he doesn't have any problems at his original team. Money, career, new challenges, age are some of the reasons I mean, but there may still be some personal reasons that are not disclosed publicly. Salah is still good to stay in the Premier League with Liverpool, but if he moves then there must be a reason for it.

An experienced player like Salah is still really needed by Liverpool, so I don't think Liverpool are ready to lose him, unless Salah himself forces his desire to leave. Salah is good and it is difficult to find a replacement, but there are always other players ready to take over the position left by Salah if he leaves Liverpool.

A short time ago, I came across a source telling that van Dijk and Salah both were preparing to extend with Liverpool. I can't find it now but I don't think it makes sense. At least for Salah. Because he officially stated that he decided to leave the team by the end of the season. But maybe they could offer van Dijk a new contract at least. He is 33 maybe but just like Salah, he is also doing great this season. I believe he is still a crucial part of Liverpool squad.  Smiley
I'm still trying to understand the reason Liverpool management decided to allow Mohammed Salah, Vigil Van Djik and Trent Alexander-Arnold' contracts to reach the last six months of their durations before they decided to start negotiating a contract extension. These players I mentioned now I think have been the club's best players over the last six years which is why I think they should've gotten a contract offer before now.

I don't know if Mo Salah and Virgil van Djik are in strong negotiations with the club management to extend their contracts at Anfield but I'm very much aware that Real Madrid is very much interested in Trent Alexander-Arnold and might sign him as a free agent in the upcoming summer transfer window
