Do you know how good is Alexander as he's so good that I don't think any other player can bench him when he joined Real Madrid. No player should be advised to reject real madrid as even if you don't play many matches, you're going to win trophies as they're the best club in the world. Not many clubs can defeat Real Madrid and do you know how the PR and press will make your career so great that you can win anything just as a result of playing for Real Madrid. Liverpool can't compete with Arsenal and Manchester city but there's not many clubs competing with Real Madrid for the champions league and La Liga therefore, you'll get a better career at Real Madrid.
But people don't become professionals first and foremost because they want to win trophies, but to actually play the game and in a best case scenario this goes hand in hand with trophies. A player who would be ok to sit on the bench and values trophies more than playing time is weird to say the last. What about passion? And how valuable is a trophy when you barely contributed anything?
I think it is quite the opposite and players would prefer to play a lot even if that means they won't win trophies-
But I guess that Arnold would have his place in the team despite strong competition.
