Mbappe is enjoying his wonderful time with Real Madrid, now he feels that he is at a club that can realize his dreams that have never been achieved with PSG. The Champions League trophy is one of the most sought after because he has never won the trophy before, besides that, he is also very ambitious to win several individual titles including the Ballon D'or. Real Madrid can help him achieve all that, patience is needed to achieve everything he has wanted so far because he must be able to be an important player in the squad and always consistently contribute to bringing his team to victory.
That is the dream of most players because the Champions League and individual achievements towards the Ballon D'or will make his name even more well-known because of his achievements. Now there is a lot of work that needs to be done well by Mbappe even though it is difficult because the competition in the Champions League is not easy, but now he is at a club that has a greater chance of winning the Champions League. In terms of individual quality, maybe no one doubts Mbappe, but he needs to work hard when playing at a club that is at a different level than before.

The club cannot force Trent Alexander-Arnold to extend his contract in Anfield. If he has interest in moving to Real Madrid, it will be difficult to persuade him to remain in Liverpool. I will blame Liverpool for allowing a player of his quality contract to be close to contract expiration before plans are made for renewal. His contract should have been extended two years before the end.
I agree. I'm not saying they will force him to sign a contract, that would bring more trouble. I'm just surprised if the transfer team or the owner doesn't see such a possibility exists. Who knows what's going on behind the scenes, maybe we'll see more drama just like in the Mbappe saga. That would be interesting.

There are also reports that Liverpool is already seeking the defender's replacement. The club have started targeting players like Jeremie Frimpong, Vanderson and Michael Kayode as potential replacements.
Judging from how the owner does his business I'm not surprised if they stick with Bradley and try to use academy players to fill Trent's shoes. He's playing decently and that's probably enough for the owner to reach their goal.

Manchester City dominates English football, they're ontop and always breaking levels for the purpose to win games. Manchester City is in good shape, all credits goes to Pep Guardiola for enabling the pressing actions of the club, they're in solid position in EPL in recent years. Pep Guardiola is not considering exiting Etihad stadium any time soon, although he accomplished magnificent results with the club, leading them to the UEFA Champions League final and winning the title. Real Madrid doesn't need the services of external coaches because they're very good with the current manager, Carlo Ancelotti. Pep Guardiola wouldn't settled for any slight contracts because he has all full eyes on his team. Manchester City will always remained top when it comes to dominance.

It has been maintained four seasons and Manchester City really showed dominance that was difficult to break by other clubs.
Nothing is impossible in football and Pep Guardiola has also become a coach for several different teams even if he sees the history of his coaching may be a little more complicated for him to accept Real Madrid as the team he will train.
Now the two coaches are more focused on bringing their team to the end of a better season, where the target of winning the domestic league and the Champions League.

But maybe Real Madrid also needs to consider coaches in the next season because Anceloti could have decided to retire because of his age that is no longer young.

Apart from Pep Guardiola that if he agrees to coach Real Madrid, they're going to be an unstoppable force due to the qualities of players that they have currently. But I don't think Peep Guardiola will ever betray Barcelona to coach Real Madrid therefore Ancelotti can't leave yet although the Brazil teams needs a manager of his quality. He should stay more years at Real Madrid and develop the current squad into a more stronger team. After he has done that then he can decide to pass the role to a new manager. Having a new manager now can make the team to scatter as the new manager will want his own players that he trust to play according to his style.

Ancelotti will not come to Brazil, rest assured.

The Brazilian Football Confederation made a big mistake last year when it leaked the news that Ancelotti was negotiating with the Brazilian national team. This really upset him because Ancelotti still had a contract with Real Madrid until June 2024. So renewing this contract was very important so that he could maintain his honor and also continue the good work he has been doing there, instead of exchanging this job for something uncertain in the Brazilian national team.

The problem with the Brazilian national team is not in the coaching lineup, the problem is in the Brazilian managers, but that is a topic for another topic.

I, personally, am very happy to see that Vinicius Junior is doing very well under Ancelotti's command, who was the best player in Real Madrid's match against Borussia Dortmund in the 5-2 Champions League win, so for me it is fine for him to stay there.

Manchester City don't have much time because within months Guardiola contract will be expired and i couldn't find any reason why Manchester City and Guardiola hasn't negotiate about contract extension and if Guardiola is really leave this summer then it could be huge lost for Manchester City this because Guardiola has build this team with very well and it is not easy to find the replacement of Guardiola and i think Manchester City have to prepare for the worst condition if Guardiola does not extend his contract with find new manager and indeed Xabi Alonso probably suitable for Manchester City but i think Xabi Alonso is not the only candidate for new manager because according to the rumours Manchester City also considering other names such as Michel, Mikel Arteta or Sporting manager Ruben Amorim
I know Manchester City have tried to talk about Pep's future several times but we have also heard that there was a situation where Pep's statement was so talked about that it seemed as if he was trying to coach a new club other than Manchester City.

Actually I believed this especially when before the England national team was looking for a coach because I felt that Pep would train the England national team but now the position of head coach in the England national team has been filled by Tuchel so indeed in this case there is a possibility of staying or leaving for Pep.

I still expect him to leave because honestly even though his presence in the EPL provides a new spirit especially for Manchester City but on the other hand other clubs in the EPL seem unable to block Pep's dominance in the EPL because as long as he coaches only Klopp managed to overthrow Pep and Manchester City from the trophy race and even then only once.

Frankly, the second half they played against Borussia Dortmund was probably the best half they played all season long. Now this begs the question whether they will be able to bring on that level consistently or mostly in the Champions League when it is needed? But one thing is for sure, whenever they are interested in new superstars and they watch games like these, who wouldn't want to be playing for Real Madrid? That second half was like a high speed train against a bicycle and I thought Dortmund might have the chance to take something home after the first half.

Funnily enough though, during the halftime interviews one commentator said that this 0-2 doesn't mean much. I thought he must be wrong, but eventually it really meant nothing. Vinicius Junior made the difference.
Yes Real Madrid played amazingly well in second half against Borussia Dortmund. This makes us hopeful they will do well in Champions League. They have problems with consistency but this game shows what they are capable of. Playing for Real Madrid is very appealing to top players.  Halftime comments were interesting because they showed how unpredictable football can be. Dortmund played well in first half but Real Madrid dominated second half. To keep playing this well Real Madrid needs to stay focused and consistent. If they do they will be almost unbeatable in Champions League.

Maybe one very important metric for the years to come is the average age of the teams in La Liga or in general. Real Madrid is sitting at 26.8 years and if they now keep going and add one or two top players of that age or younger, I think they are good to go for the next five years or maybe even longer.

BUT now consider that Barcelona is at 23.6 years. That's insane and they currently play one of the best football I have seen in a long time. They have obliterated Bayern Munich in a fashion that I did not expect and that was brilliant. It was all strategy and they finished their counter attacks like the god of football couldn't have done any better. Bayern had the ball most of the time, Barcelona scored the goals with a plan. And now see how many young players they have who go the full distance already. Lamine Yamal is set in stone for the first eleven. That is insane. But they have more of these guys and they will add more. That is why in terms of the current season and the future, Barcelona is a serious contender for Real Madrid nationally and internationally and they will only get better from here due to their young average age.

Ancelotti already tried to leave Real Madrid. If you followed the news, you must know Ancelotti was rumored to be the coach of Brazilian national team. But Real Madrid board still wants him staying. Brazil is like PSG, they have many quality players like other top teams, but it's still not enough and they never won Champions League.

It's hard for Brazil to win Copa America or World Cup, I guess they need to wait until Messi choose to retire from national team. However, Brazil will also lose Neymar, despite he's still 33 years old, but he will retire early due to poor habit.

Neymar is the last Jogo Bonito, his contribution is as big as Messi.

I think you're a little obsessed with Messi  Wink Look at his "successes" at PSG, he achieved less there than Neymar.
As for Neymar, you are also behind the times - we can say that he is already retired, he can hardly help the national team. Now Brazil's main star is Vinny, the coach who can, if not build the game around him, but at least use his capabilities to the maximum will achieve success.

This contract saga with Pep Guardiola is something that I had thought wouldn’t be a thing of problem but looking at it now and the scenarios behind it I think Manchester city fans needs to start expecting the worst case scenario from this. First thing is Manchester city have already won the Champions League which was pep most coveted after trophy now after winning it he can leave Manchester city as a man who has won it all. Also Manchester city are having lots of charges against them in the court and should they get found guilty and to be punished it will be sever in such a way that they could even be relegated and Pep is definitely bigger than that. The third tides hindering this contract extension is Director that is said to be stepping down from his position who is the man behind everything related to Pep in the Manchester city team so his departure could influence Pep decision.

Among other things Manchester City needs to worry about again is the fact they there are many Manchester city players that have their contracts yet to be extended, if pep decides to leave I am sure many of these players will fancy a new challenge again.

Alexander Trent was linked to Real Madrid, and like you, I think he won't stay in Liverpool anymore. He is a good player for Liverpool, and Slot wanted to keep him for a longer time. However, he refused the offer to extend his contract with Liverpool and decided to avoid extending it, which shows that he wants to leave.
Also, he got an offer from Real Madrid, and maybe this is why Alexander Trent didn't extend his contract—he is interested in playing for Real Madrid.

We can’t say it’s because of Madrid that the player is yet to renew his contract it could be that they are yet to agree on a new terms and that’s why he hasn’t signed. Right now Liverpool are seriously in some contract extension talks that could shape their future, players like VVD, Salah and even Allison too have their contracts yet to be signed but I think they will get it sorted.

Arnold and Hakimi are the two players Madrid are actually looking at, at the moment but I am leaning more to Hakimi than Arnold because of Ancelloti who I think prefers the former

If Real Madrid comes for a player, it is best to consider them already there because it will only take some time before they go there. I don't think we will see Alexander Arnold in Liverpool next season. I can also say the same for William Saliba because Real Madrid has also shown an interest in him.  Liverpool should start planning for life without him because that is the inevitable and something that will happen in just some time.

As much as I think that Alexander Arnold Is a top player, I don't consider him a sound and qualified defender for a big club like Real Madrid, I don't like him for them. They should make plans for players like Diego Dalot, Pedro Porro and lastly Vasquez will also do a much better upgrade. Well, what can I say, he has the vision to attack and give split in between the line passes, but I have never considered him a sound replacement for Dani Carvajal. As for Salibae, they also do not have such plans to let him leave the club Arsenal. Saliba is that guy though, he'll play at any top a club comfortably.

I think Alexander would likely remain at Liverpool because he is most needed with the teams current performance and hopes for the premier League trophy. Many other performing players like Salah has also not yet been approached by same team for contract extension talks, so I believe Liverpool will likely have that talk with him and dissuade any move to the Spanish giant, Real Madrid.
The situation is now 50/50 as no conviction can really be held given that speculation is still ongoing. Liverpool will obviously try to keep Trent at Anfield but on the other hand of course we know that Madrid's target is difficult to escape because sooner or later when Madrid is serious then any player they can get.

By looking at this situation I think the scheme is that Madrid will try to approach but Liverpool will try to extend the contract, the drama will not be much different from Mbappe but it will not be too protracted because Madrid and Liverpool sometimes do not like long dramas for players.

I still expect Trent to be at Madrid for the future because seeing from the potential and now the position of right-back which does need regeneration, of course Trent is very projectable for the future of Madrid to replace Carvajal and Vasquez.

Rumor has it that Man City are also preparing a possible replacement for Pep Guardiola, and the right person right now is Xabi Alonso. He has a game with a clear system and is quite capable of identifying the abilities of the players as he did with Leverkusen. The problem is that Madrid is also interested in Xabi Alonso, so I hope the hunt for a coach must be taken seriously, especially Madrid who seem lazy about the future of the coach. I don't doubt Ancelotti but we also need to see with quality players like Vini, Mbappe, Rodrygo, Valverde, Bellingham etc. there must be a coach who is able to provide an effective game system.

onefootball
I think Man City will do that if Pep Guardiola does not extend his contract at Man City, his future at Man City is still unclear and Pep Guardiola is still thinking carefully whether to leave or stay, however this is a difficult decision for Pep because he has been a Man City coach for a long time and maybe he is experiencing a little boredom so he is still hesitant to extend his contract, if he finally decides to leave the club Xabi Alonso is the right choice he has also built a good reputation at Leverkusen and won the Bundesliga title. Regarding Real Madrid I doubt they will replace Ancelotti with Xabi Alonso because Ancelotti is a good coach and his contract at Real Madrid still runs for 2 more years in the near future maybe they will just observe but if Ancelotti's contract runs out they will just think about recruiting Xabi Alonso.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is indeed an important player for Liverpool, he is one of the core players of The Red squad. His name has been widely linked with Real Madrid last season, even in the summer transfer window yesterday. However, there is no certainty regarding this news. Well, I don't know if Madrid really wants this Liverpool mainstay defender, or is it just an issue, but it is possible that they will bring him to Santiago Bernabeu next season. I don't know much about this rumor, especially since TAA has often been linked with Real Madrid. Considering that Trent Alexander-Arnold's contract will expire on June 30, 2025, Liverpool will certainly take steps to tie him up by extending the contract so that the player will not move to another club and league. or, his name will be included in the winter transfer window. However, that will not be very effective, it seems that Liverpool will take an approach to negotiate extending his contract so that the defender remains at Anfield. I am sure the club is very aware, otherwise he will leave as a free player.

Looking at the condition of the players, especially for the right-back position, Trent could actually be a viable option to be used as a form of seriousness for Madrid even though there are 2 pretty tough right-backs where Vasquez and Carvajal are still there but with the age of these two players of course Madrid must also think of a transition for future plans especially for now the position only belongs to Vasquez after Carvajal must pull over until the end of the season.

But bringing Trent from Liverpool is not easy even though we currently know his contract is almost up and there has been no word about a contract extension even though Liverpool's intention is definitely to extend Trent's contract, still in this case I think Madrid's opportunity is still very much there.
He could be a wise choice especially since his vision is actually quite suitable for Madrid's style of play which relies more on attacks from both sides and Trent can do that because indeed the attack at Liverpool is also not too rigid and wants to help attack and defend well.

Real Madrid and champions league are just too cling together that they cannot be separated for them. Just when you think Real Madrid cannot do anything in a match, you’ll see them playing the best football you don’t expect from them at the time due to their most recent form. Now we don’t need to be seeing Real Madrid as a team that will not only win the champions league but the team that will do anything to retain that trophy no matter how the condition they’re in other competitions they’re participating in. The first two goals Dortmund scored in the first half made me immediately had this impression that Dortmund will win this match due to Real Madrid’s poor form now, but they proved that the kings of the competition don’t get tired or retaining that crown. A wonderful performance by Real Madrid and I still see them as the most potential team for the champions league trophy this season.

I don't know how Real Madrid can be so successful with this strategy. They plan to score in the second half in most of the matches and they mostly succeed. The way they made a comeback in the last Champions League match is really unbelievable. Real Madrid ended the first half two goals behind so the second half was definitely under a lot of pressure to make them pay for those two goals. They took the game so seriously that within minutes of paying for the first two goals, they scored two more to put Dortmund ahead 4-2. How Real Madrid will perform in the Champions League is a foregone conclusion and just as Real Madrid were Champions League favorites before the start of this season, Real Madrid are still Champions League favourites.

Those players mentioned are old players so there purported transfer wouldn't generate any fuss, we are talking about quality and most sought after player whose transfer would be subject of discussion, beside Mbappe had already moved to Real Madrid so there won't be any transter news about him except if he decides to move to Saudi Arabian club which I believe is not possible considering his age and status, Mbappe signed long term contract with Real Madrid though since joining the team he had not really prove his worth however with time he would adapt to laliga.
His decision to move to Real Madrid was the final because he had been interested in a long time and Mbappe had also said that he was quite enthusiastic in Real Madrid because this club was his choice. There was no discussion after this for Mbappe to move to another league and he had not yet entered one season at Real Madrid so it was impossible for discussion to be related to his career.

The quality of him when playing for Real Madrid is good it's just not fully adapted but slowly he has shown good development and he has also scored several important goals for the team.
I think this season he have a greater chance to end that wait, madrid has a long history in UCL competition and they often appear dominant to continue to get it, so I think mbappe joining madrid clearly provides a mutual benefit for both parties, with Mbappe talent and ambition and also the quality and strong mentality from madrid then they can be said to be a perfect team this season, but for continue to be able to win championships and also individual awards, course consistency and contribution in every match is very important,  so if mbappe can continue to show his best performance and work well together in the team, It is not impossible that we will see him lift the UCL trophy and also the ballon d'Or in the near time.

I can see why they would try to sign a free agent like Alexander Arnold to equip themselves also for the future. It would be the right call in my opinion, but competition for that player will be fierce and he can already be looking forward to signing the best contract in his life. 125 million net for five years and a signing bonus of tens of millions on top of that.
It would be stupid for Liverpool to let him go for free though. If he's not willing to stay maybe they will sign a contract with a buyout clause or something similar so Liverpool will gain something from him. I would be surprised if that's not the case considering how much the owner likes to use transfer money to buy new players.

Anyway, the funny coincidence is that some players who exit Liverpool usually fail to perform at their best. Wijnaldum, Mane at Bayern, Coutinho etc. Of course, exceptions exist, and each situation is different but it would be interesting to see if Arnold turns out to be the same or not. If he ever goes out that is.

It is believed that Real Madrid is willing to give the England international a long-term contract for about five years with an annual earning of £14-15 million, which is double what he gets from Liverpool. Except Liverpool can convince him and give him a better deal, he might move to Santiago Bernabéu.

There are also reports that Liverpool is already seeking the defender's replacement. The club have started targeting players like Jeremie Frimpong, Vanderson and Michael Kayode as potential replacements.

Real Madrid will like to get key players like Alexander-Arnold, because he is very good and Liverpool will not like to leave him go for free, so they will try to convince him so that he will renew his contract with them and they can sell him with a better funds so that they won't lose, and if he didn't renew his contract, he will definitely like to come to Real Madrid because any players wish to play madrid if they have the opportunity because they are the best club in the world in my opinion, and he will be very hard that you cames to Real madrid club you didn't achieve anything you most achieve trophies before you leave the team, even hazard that didn't do well injured make him weak and he didn't really contributed in the club but he achieve trophies before he leaves.

Mbappe has joined the club, and given how Madrid is dominating the Champions League, I believe he will win his first Champions League title this season, or he will win the La Liga trophy if Barcelona does not perform well in the competition, because Madrid sr is just waiting to face Barcelona, and they will do anything to defeat them in the el clasico so that they are level in the league table. I believe Ancelotti can win the La Liga for Madrid back-to-back because he is a better coach and knows how to cope with clubs in the tournament. Real Madrid will not try to lose any points again as the league has near a halfway point and any club will do anything possible to maintain there position in the league and thinking how to move forward in the league table.

Ancelotti already tried to leave Real Madrid. If you followed the news, you must know Ancelotti was rumored to be the coach of Brazilian national team. But Real Madrid board still wants him staying. So Ancelotti stays until 2026. After 2026, Real Madrid is possible to have a new coach. However, this only can happen if Real Madrid doesn't try to offer Ancelotti a new contract extension.

Previous rumor:
- Ancelotti to coach Brazil at 2024 Copa America - CBF boss (espn.co.uk)
- Carlo Ancelotti would be keen on leaving Real Madrid to coach the Brazil national team (transfermarkt.co.uk)

I thought Carlo Ancelotti would retire after leaving Real Madrid, but the Brazilian National Team would be a great opportunity for him. Winning a World Cup with Brazil could make him one of the greatest managers in history. Looking at Brazil's squad, you can see they have fantastic players, so this is not an impossible goal.
As far as I know Ancelotti does have a desire to end his career as a coach after the best results. But what is certain is that for the next few seasons Madrid will continue to try to maintain the coach and my guess is at least until 2027.
And actually it also makes sense if later after the contract ends with Madrid he prefers to become the coach of the Brazilian national team to get the best results and retire. So when he retires but leaves a good track record, his career will continue to be remembered by football fans.
