Walker put it very well, it doesn't matter who is the England manager as long as he can deliver results. And he thinks Tuchel is a good fit for the job because he can work with the best players, he proved that at Bayern, PSG and Chelsea (with whom he won the Champions League, beating City in the final). He has a lot of experience and he seems very excited about getting the job. There will be those who are unhappy about that, but Walker is right that in the end, only the results will matter.
As a Chelsea fan, I'm happy to see him back in England. It's been a long time since he helped my favorite team win the UCL, and he's now coaching England. I'm pretty excited to see how he will perform, and it's most probable he'll call up Reece and Chilwell to join his squad. But the very important thing is that the rumor about him being linked to Manchester United was fake.

So, Manchester United can take Southgate or Potter as their candidate to replace Ten Hag. lol. It makes me happy Tuchel is not at United after all. Hopefully, they will end up with Southgate/Potter as their new manager to replace Ten Hag.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You forgot to add Lampard to that list, or possibly Wayne Rooney 😂😂😂. Sometimes I wonder why Manchester United are not proud to hire one of their creation. Rooney will do a better job in that club than Eric Ten Hag, Lols.

Well I wouldn't want Thomas Tuchel to make the England job a Chelsea affair. Now he is the England boss, he should look out for good talents that are currently inform and invite them to the team, than just looking at Chelsea players that he worked with in the past. Reece James is a good player no doubt, but if he is not delivering for his club there is no need of including him in the squad. Tuchel should see his position as one that should embrace all English players and he shouldn't be bias. He shouldn't bring club sentiments into his new job if not he is going to have problems. He should focus on delivering results. Let him not make it a Chelsea affair as the England boss.

Ancelotti says that they don't need any signing in January because of managing a similar condition quite well in the previous season.

I was expecting this statement from him though so not surprising at all.  Grin  But I'll give him that. He is really good at handling this kind of situations by trying new players there like I said before.

Then it seems like even if they agree terms with Trent for a free transfer as it is rumoured recently, they won't push for bringing him in January already. Do you think they should sign any player in January?

Some media have released that Tomas Tuchel has been officially appointed as the England national team coach and he can now work on selecting some of the players needed, but for certainty about this matter I have not checked further. The names that have been rumored to be the England national team coach are indeed many and quite competent such as Jorgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola, but both coaches seem not interested in the job.

Only Tomas Tuchel is available and he is opening the way for negotiations, there is much better hope for Tomas Tuchel as long as he can utilize quality young players and you are right because we hope his coaching style is not boring like Southgate.

I just know that Real Madrid is interested in Davinson Sanchez. I'm a bit surprised because I don't see something special with Davinson Sanchez. He is already 28 years old, I think Real Madrid already has too many old defenders. As far as I know, Real Madrid is interested in Gonçalo Inácio. Until now, Real Madrid still has the intention to sign Gonçalo Inácio. However, they should need the transfer windows if they want to sign Gonçalo Inácio.
I feel as if they are not looking to spend a lot of money to replace, that could be the reason. I mean Alaba will come back, but it will take a while before he comes back, plus they are going ot miss Carvajal all season long, and even start of next season as well. Not like Sanchez can be a right back, but wouldn't be bad to have him just in case, or maybe Alaba or some other player.

Basically increasing the rotation when they have these injuries could be a goal, but they know these players will come back, so they may not want to spend a ton of money. In which case, buying a player from Turkey sounds like a cheap way to go. Sanchez isn't that bad neither, he is a decent player, sure he is 28 years old but he is talented player, and for about 4 or so seasons he could play there and be decent bench rotation for them. I am sure they are going to spend about 20 million on him at most, which is a lot for a Turkish team but barely more than free for Real Madrid.

It's such a downgrade for Pep if he goes from a competitive league to a non-competitive league. I don't underestimate the French league. But, it seemed a weak competition. Even the Bundesliga is better than them.

And it sounds impossible for Pep to go to PSG, even if they sent him a lucrative offer, and it would not work. He wants an international team. He is not interested in managing the football club anymore.
Pep has conquered several leagues in Europe, namely La Liga, Bundesliga, and now the ongoing Premier League with Man City. If Pep is ambitious to continue his journey, of course only Ligue 1 and Serie A are left to conquer. But the question is, is he ready to let go of Man City and move to another team?

It would be a shame if he moved to PSG, there he would not get any sensation of challenge. PSG without a coach like Pep Guardiola will still win the Ligue 1 trophy regularly.

Even if that would be true for Tomas Tuchel as spread in several media, I don't think it would be bad enough for the England national team because Tomas Tuchel was a coach of a big team in the past so his experience to be able to coach the England national team could also be very suitable, especially Jorgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are not interested in the job because maybe there are other things they are considering at the moment. In addition, Tomas Tuchel can also focus enough on such work if he is not coaching another team in any League at the moment.
It will probably be easier for him to manage the England national team. The quality of the players is very high and there are no competitive countries like the Premier League. There may be a few teams that will challenge them. France, Germany and if they beat them, Tuchel could have a long international career. I think the most logical decision would be to manage a national team right now.

I think Thomas Tuchel made the right decision by accepting England's offer. There can be a lot of pressure in club teams because there are so many matches played, but there is not that much pressure in national teams. Also, the quality of the England team is one of the best in Europe. He probably knows how to direct it the best. He will enter a slightly less stressful period as England manager. I think he made the right decision, I think that's what I think.
When talking about pressure in the national team and in the club, it is not much different even many famous coaches that we currently know rarely take offers to be national team coaches. A strong enough reason that being a national team coach is not easy, the pressure is carrying the country big name to appear in the world's main competition. Thomas Tuchel status is currently unemployed because no club wants to get his services, so there is no choice but to accept the offer to become a national team coach. This is a reasonable scheme, the England national team must fully support what Tuchel will do.
Yes, you are absolutely right, we should not underestimate the pressure that occurs in club and national team matches because each of them has quite heavy pressure, coaching a national team is not an easy thing because it has to compete against many countries from all over the world, but the England national team does have a fairly high quality of play, so Thomas Tuchel only needs to adjust his game, usually used to coaching clubs and coaching national teams have differences because the level of competition is different.

Thomas Tuchel has been unemployed for quite a long time, but that doesn't mean no one is interested in using his services, recently he was linked with Manchester United to replace Erik Ten Hag, but he preferred to coach the England national team compared to Man United.

And you know what's more interesting about the race between Real Madrid and Man United for that Bundesliga star? Apparently, Barcelona also wants to surprise their main rival, Real Madrid, because they will join the race for the left-back. It's funny, and they are quite confident about it. But, really, I don't really think about it. They even said they will sign Haaland too, Nico Williams, and maybe other football starts again in the same season as if they have a lot of money.
When Real Madrid interested with a player, Barcelona will join the race too because that's how they want to brand themselves they're big teams and have enough money to sign the player, even though they would sell everything when the player accept Barcelona offers.

Alphonso Davies will move to Real Madrid, no doubt, as long as Bayern Munich accept it.

It will not be easy indeed if Barcelona has to compete with Madrid who have enough funds to bring in Alphonso Davies. The only thing that can be Barcelona's hope is probably Alphonso Davies' willingness to join Barcelona which I am sure there will be a certain agreement regarding his salary. Moreover, if there is also an interesting offer from United, maybe that could be another consideration. But the problem may be United's poor performance in the Premier League. If they were at the top of the standings now, maybe Alphonso Davies could be considered even though there is an offer from Madrid. But unfortunately, this transfer rumor might lead to Madrid if they are really serious.
It seems that Bayern Munich are not desperate to keep Alphonso Davies that was why he was not offered a contract extension till the last year of the deal. Clubs are interested in the 23-year-old defender because he would be cheap since his contract ends next year, and he has also reduced his annual earnings from €20m to €17m.

In my thoughts, Real Madrid has the advantage of signing the Canadian star. They have the money to offer higher financial benefits than Barcelona. But Barcelona also have a few advantages that Alphonso Davies might consider. He might have more playing time in Barcelona than Real, which has more players. There is also news that Barca coach Hansi Flick has a good relationship with Davies since the German was his former coach at Bayern Munich. His next move will depend largely on his choice.

Journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon posted a Tweet about Trent Alexander-Arnold agreeing to move to Real Madrid in 2025 as a free agent.

https://x.com/Ramon_AlvarezMM/status/1846809353937977447

Apparently after Mbappe's problems Real are looking for attacking players and Trent is a good choice especially if available for free.
Although Trent has spent his whole career in Liverpool, but I think he will have no problems with adaptation in La Liga, especially at Real.

yeah, saw a lot of reaction about his link to real Madrid after his birthday surprise that came from Jude Bellingham and there closeness during training. I'm not sure real Madrid would be the next stop for the Liverpool star even though the likelihood of him renewing his contract with Liverpool at the January expiration is very slim. Also, considering him as a potential initiate in place of mbape is something I can't factor in too well but if the move pulls up well, it's going to be another firm of chear by real Madrid considering that  Trent who's currently one of the strongest full back in the wild would be joining an already loaded team that's filled up with stars accross all positions.

I think Trent can not be called a full defender and Klopp often used him on the wing as a midfielder and it is logical because Trent is one of the fastest players in Liverpool and he is an attacking player and aims to pass to partners in attack or in the penalty area, but in defense Trent plays worse, often misses opponents' players in the penalty area and does not like to return to the defense.

I understand that they do not officially announce that he will move to Real, because the player is forbidden to officially negotiate with another club and officially negotiate only 6 months before the expiration of the contract with the current club.

Apparently the England Football Federation have decided that it is better not to stall and hire the best available coach at the moment. Klopp would probably be a better fit for England team, but he apparently has no plans to return to coaching. Tuchel won the EPL with Chelsea and he knows English players and system. At the moment it is difficult to find a better coach, besides, as you have noticed the English national team now has a very strong generation of players and need to give them to play for real, although Tuchel is a supporter of cautious soccer and play from the defense, but I hope that he will not put the England national team the same boring soccer as Southgate.

I also saw this news, it was reported that Thomas Tuchel has been officially appointed as coach, but just like you I have not checked further whether the news is valid or not. But what is clear is that England has taken a good step by replacing their previous coach. Because their previous coach was completely unreliable, unclear tactics, sometimes confusing player selection. Thomas Tuchel is an experienced coach, I can't actually guarantee that Tuchel joining England will make them much better. But at least they have new hope compared to maintaining Southgate who clearly does not show anything good.

Source: Barcelona have joined the race alongside Real Madrid for Alphonso Davies

Barcelona now in contact with Alphonso Davies? What's for Balde then? Getting such a high profiled player would be great with his technicality, pace and brilliance but they should also consider his injury prone side. He is a great fullback I don't lie but when you come to think about it, I don't even expect Manchester United making further advances for him. They should focus on getting a proven fullback from the premier league competition. Players like Davies are completely Real Madrid bound players, should be this the priority signature for Barcelona? They should focus on getting a Defensive midfielder and Centerback.

Barcelona seems to just want to put pressure on their rivals and perhaps make Alphonso Davies feel uncertain. I don't think Barcelona will actually make an official offer because they didn't have enough money to sign Alphonso Davies or even simply register him unless there are 1 or 2 of their famous players who have to be sold first.

But isn't that interest still consideration for Barcelona because competing with Real Madrid is not easy, maybe Barcelona can only offer price that is not that big and for the competition it might be won by Real Madrid.
On the other hand, of course Alphonso Davies would definitely prefer to join Real Madrid because it would be more guaranteed to have better career and joining Barcelona would only hinder his career.
Financial problems are also major factor for Barcelona to suffer difficulty, they might be able to force themselves to spend more money and bring in players but such efforts are very risky in the long term, I sure Joan Laporta as Barcelona president will consider spending more money.
Only large income that can help make the transfer success is if they sell Lamine Yamal but they reject the sale of the player.

Plus there are less competition at France for PSG as well, whereas there are so many competitions for City like Arsenal and Liverpool. So, I believe Pep going to PSG would be ideal fit for both sides and could see him manage for another five years at least.
Pep would be boring to manage PSG, in order to know their strength, they have to wait for match in Champions League.

It's interesting to see his stats, he only manage three top teams that playing in different leagues. Is Pep has an intention to collect various trophies? he should move to Serie A then, Inter or Juventus are two top teams in there.

Pep Guardiola have no intentions of moving to another league, he's comfortable in Etihad stadium and handling Manchester City to be the very best elite club in England currently. Pep Guardiola have done a great job for the Citizens, the fans can now boost of their club stats and achievements since Pep Guardiola took over, alot of things have changed for good and we're now watching the epic chapter of Pep Guardiola coaching career, he's teaching everyone how the job is done in the English Premier League.

Pep Guardiola is likely to retired if he happens to part ways with Manchester City, there's more we could possibly apprehend on football trends. You ever thought for Pep Guardiola to go and take over the managerial role in Paris Saint-Germain? That's ridiculous because first and foremost, PSG are one of the most relenting club in the European world of football, they do not have what it takes to win major titles but Pep Guardiola beats the odds if he goes to Parc des Princes ground, he's experienced and can managed the tough duties that comes his path. Pep Guardiola is successful manager, he falls in this category because he's genius and well-established, he knows his worth and trust me, he wouldn't settled for any less competitive club.
