I don't think Manchester United will be able to make huge expenditures in the mid-season transfer period. Because in these periods, teams try to make ends meet with small additions. The change of manager was important for Manchester United. They did that and we can say that the new manager has not adapted to the team yet. First of all, after he and his tactics are integrated into the team, we can watch a transfer period consisting of special players that he will choose in the summer. Maybe next year, Manchester United will compete for the Premier League championship.
Manchester United can have a better season if they are able to sell some players and sign more players of higher caliber, which cannot be done once. I will expect the team to sell off some players to raise some money to sign other important players that can help improve the team's performance.
Amorim needs time to adapt to Manchester United and Premier League style of play, and he will adapt soon, just that their fixtures are not friendly.

Manchester United have some set of big games they will hardly win, therefore, I expect United to still drop some points in their next three to four games.

I have also said that Manchester United's main problem at the moment is the squad. The coach will need to sell some players from the defense, midfield and the attack will face the biggest problem. Because there are players who were recently signed and who are not being very useful, so I wonder how they will sell these players because they bought them for a high price and I doubt very much that they will be able to sell them for the same price. It is also important that the club's management and the coach tell the fans that they need to be patient because it will take at least 1 year to organize the team and the following year they could fight for the title.

Before ETH departure, I have always sideline myself and remove emotions from the public and their emotional judgment, the team is wacky and ETH wasn't the only problem, the entire team all combine but when Ruud came to help the team stay in good position before the arrival of Amorim, they improved their game but you can't fool for long, they trip off again when Amorim came and they have started with another foolish campaign that Amorim is the problem, they can do better.

I hope Amorim listen and doesn't end up deaf ears the way ETH did. The first mistake was letting Degea live for another club with Onana as replacement, the team has never been the same without goof goalkeeper, Sancho and the rest all affected the team but he was forming Mr principles at the cost of the team performance until things went beyond control. I hope Amorim can do better else they are going to witness what Chelsea went through for3 seasons.

The expectations were high and they needed him to come in and change everything immediately. He sounds so confidence that he can make a change immediately but unfortunately things are not going as he wanted too and have to just love by the reality that the premier league is not the same as the Portuguese league.
I mean he can't do anything if the players played terribly and can't follow his tactics. The club needs to sell a lot of players just like how they support Ten Hag in the beginning. Asking him to change everything is quite an impossible demand if he can't use different players. It's not like he can swap their players with academy players and call it a day. The next transfer window and how the board react should paint a picture whether United transition season is good or not.

Arsenal's dead ball coach Nicolas Jover is reportedly going to have his term of service extended with the Gunner by management, not only that, his salary will also be increased. Nicolas Jover has been a smart coach since the beginning of last season, Arsenal has scored 22 goals from corner kicks, this achievement is none other than thanks to his cool hand. And indeed so far Arsenal has been the most effective club in utilizing dead balls, hopefully this new contract will happen soon.
It's a good thing on Arsenal part to recognize his efforts and also potentially rewarding him with a contract extension and a significant pay rise. Nicolas Jover has transformed Arsenal to the best dead ball team in the Premier League so far. He is a great coach and am happy to see him contribute to the growth of the club and also been handed a contract extension at the Emirates. Arsenal set pieces is undeniably brilliant but they lack creativity in their attack and open play.
Jover is one of the best dead ball coaches in the world right now. The French coach has reached a whole new level with Arsenal. With him, Arsenal started to play dead balls perfectly. These tactics were undoubtedly very useful for Arteta. I don't remember a team in England that could use dead balls better than Arsenal. Of course, the French coach Jover has a big contribution to this.

I wouldn't really expect them to make any incredible accomplishments in the first year of a new coach either, and besides, the coach's accomplishments aren't impressive for such a great team. When Ten Hag was managing the team he was just complaining about the fact that the club has a lot of players and if it is not difficult to choose the right ones, it is difficult to decide what to do with the rest. as I understand the management does not want to sell many players.

It makes sense that United wants Alphonso Davies to improve their back line. Alphonso Davies is a good player that will add a significant impact to the club. If Manchester United can be able to secure his services, I believe the problems at left back will be solved. Alphonso Davies is the type of player that fits into the style of formation of Ruben Amorim. Having him at Manchester United will be a great addition to the club as he has proved to be one of the best left back of his generation.
Recruiting players is the main action for the new headcoach because achieving good results required top priorities. Manchester United not in good shape under the new management of Ruben Amorim. They need re-adjustment because staying ontop needs more tanking efforts, actions that wouldn't hesitate to bring in winnings. Ruben Amorim calming down because there's huge change to trigger in Manchester United. He's taking out time to ensure grabbing big winning wouldn't be a challenge for them. Amorim mapped the players he would bring into the system, they're experienced and enchanced potentials to explore for the club.

If you look at the facts, Sir Jim Ratcliffe actually did the opposite, I mean Man United lost more than they gained. The dismissal of Ten Hag and sporting director Dan Ashworth required Man United to pay large compensation, and Man United had to spend other costs to pay Ruben Amorim release clause from Sporting CP. So far, The Red Devils have not been able to perform consistently, which means that the hope of achieving success this season is very small, and of course it will affect their overall income. Simply put, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has brought new problems to the club, because everything must be according to his wishes. The hope to prove that the owner decision was right lies in the hands of Ruben Amorim, a task that is not easy and full of risks. Personally, I think Ruben Amorim has the potential to make progress with Man United, but he must be given the opportunity to build a squad according to his wishes.

I can’t deny the fact that the Sir Jim Ratcliffe has actually spent more money in hiring and sending off the back room staffs even when they are looking for a way to actually reduce cost in the club but to me I think he did the right thing and my take is this spendings will actually prevent future spendings. For example the club incurred this large spending all because of Dan Ashworth. He actually was the one who allowed Ten Hag to Stay beyond last season and started this season, and since that discussion Ashworth seems sidelined and leaving to me is the best thing. Personally i don’t like his attitude towards more of English men in the club

Reshuffling does have to happen again in the end for Manchester United and I think it is a natural thing because in the end performance depends on good player management.
Currently, Manchester United's defense looks quite chaotic, although it cannot be denied that there are still some big names in the squad but in the end it does not have any impact on the current defense even big names like De Ligt, Yoro or Licha even though it does not make their defense look luxurious even though if you see these names are names that are actually still quite big.

In addition, for their full-backs, there still needs to be some changes and I actually don't really like Amorim's way in the defensive scheme because this actually seems to make Manchester United not very stable in the end.
If you really don't want a too significant overhaul, I think Amorim should try something new but indeed if this is not possible then at least some players who are not too suitable for what continues to be forced to stay at United.

This is the current news around Manchester United as the recently appointed sporting director has left the club after five months. I don't know what must have happened internally, but I know he brought in soke quality names into Manchester united. Asides that, some speculating he wanted a british coach,  while some specs saying the new owner vexed because they backed EtH ahead of the new season,  what you think?

I think changing the coaches are not going to affect the results of Manchester United so much. Because I think as long as the owners stay the same, things are really not going to change. The owners are a little worried about winning trophies. They are more worried about how to bring in more money. I understand that bringing in more money is absolutely important for a club. But they have to do that through showing good performances. You cannot just show a bad performance and expect good money to be brought into the club. Also just look at the new coach that they have brought in. After only a few matches, it looks like he is losing his mind. It's like something seriously is wrong with Manchester United and it cannot be fixed by just changing the coaches.

The process of reconstructing a team is something that is slow and only happens when everyone is willing to have patience with each other. Some actions will be difficult, such as changing some of those personalities who may not suit the team anymore through a process called rotation. What we look forward to when this strategy is accomplished is the ability to achieve more in investment and at the same time attain wiser returns. One of the ways that can help bring back the team into right direction is by allowing young and upcoming players to have their space for development alongside to also set up a solid base most of the time. All of this of course, demands team work between players, coaches, management and complete endorsement from fans.

I think the poll of the thread should be changed to Will Amorim be the guy to bring the glory days back to Manchester United.

Manchester United fans should cut Amorim some slack. Under Erik Ten Hag, the players were struggling. It’s not every manager that comes to a club and hit the ground running. Rashford has found his scoring boots under Amorim. When you look at the players and the previous manager at Manchester United, you cannot expect a new manager to have immediate impact on the club.

Former Manchester United winger Luis Nani has officially decided to retire at the age of 38. Nani last played for Portuguese second division club Estrela Amadora, his career journey faded after leaving Manchester United in 2015. It seems that Nani will try his luck in the world of coaching, I still remember one of his iconic celebrations with Manchester United.
I confirmed the news on Luis Nani official Twitter account. Nani was a great player and he would be remembered by his beautiful playing style. He was fast and also a good dribbler. Nani brought so much dynamism to Manchester United and he would be remembered in Manchester United’s history books. He contributed greatly to the game and he wouldn't be forgotten in a hurry. It's sad to see him retire. But to every begining has an end. What a great and remarkable career he’s had. Absolute legend!
Nani had such good wrist movements that it was enjoyable to watch him. I remember him as an important player in the ManU squad. He left behind a successful career. Now if he wants to be in football, he only has coaching and coaching options. I think he can be a good attacking coach. It was always enjoyable to watch the Portuguese.

Manchester United has facing the crisis for defensive lines because currently their player who playing on left back position Luke Shaw got the injury again and Manchester United don't want to take the risk because for left back Amorim don't have much option so that's why this winter Manchester United will give their priority to gets new left back and it says they were interested to bought Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich

Actually Alphonso Davies contract will be expired on June 2025 but probably Manchester United will bought him early this january and there is possibility this transfer will be happened especially Bayern Munich don't want to losing Alphonso Davies for free so rather than let Alphonso Davies leave with free transfer probably Bayern Munich will sell him at cheap price this january
One of Manchester United's biggest problems is recruiting. They have never been able to recruit actual good players. I don't know who is responsible for that but whoever is responsible for scouting players needs to be fired. I don't know if it's the sporting director that has just been fired but things need to change in that department.

A team that recruited Wheghost, Antony and many more average players is not a serious team. Looking at the United squad right now a lot needs to change and I don't believe a year will be enough.
Sacking Ten Hag is just the first step if they actually want to compete they should give Amorim the freedom to sign players that will fit into his team and playing style.
This is what Manchester City did with Pep Guardiola and they have enjoyed success for many years. I believe United can go back to being a serious team but it would take time and a lot of hard decisions.

Who knows, if those recruited ones will give them good results in the coming years? That is, if they will give their best for the team. They were bought for a very good price, because the team saw their potential. And if they will do their job at their best, they will surely contribute to the team's success. However, we may not see that now yet. And if there will be no progress in the next couple of years, then, the recruitment team should think of selling and buying new ones. I can understand the expectations from United, a lot of fans are expecting a lot from them. But the lineup of athletes can't give them the results that they want. It may take a lot of matches before they will see the true potential of those athletes.

The Gunners have scored from set pieces more than any other club have managed this season especially from corner kicks. Other top clubs will want to hire Nicolas Jover so Arsenal must act fast in other to secure the dead ball coach.

Previously chelsea did target osimhen as their main striker, but like you, I also don't think they will return to interest in osimhen in the January transfer window, apart from the fact that they already have many productive strikers at this time, of course the management will no longer spend a lot of money after spending quite a lot of money last summer, Besides that, bringing in osimhen will certainly only break the harmony that is currently starting to form well in front line, osimhen will certainly move to another team in January later, but it looks like PSG and arsenal might be more inclined to get it, while manchester united of course might be more inclined to target gyokeres if they really need a great striker later.
We can only speculate about the future of the Nigerian striker. Chelsea have currently scored the highest goal in the premiership with thirty-five goals. Both Arsenal and Liverpool have scored twenty-nine, while Manchester City have recorded twenty-seven. The difference between the Blues and the current League leaders is that the Reds have conceded fewer goals. Chelsea's high goalscoring drive might be an indication that they have solved their attacking problems and might no longer need Victor Osimhen. Meanwhile, Victor has assured Galatasaray that he would remain with them till the end of the season and help the club to win the Europa Cup and the Super Lig. His transfer might take effect at the end of the season.
