Pep would be boring to manage PSG, in order to know their strength, they have to wait for match in Champions League.

It's interesting to see his stats, he only manage three top teams that playing in different leagues. Is Pep has an intention to collect various trophies? he should move to Serie A then, Inter or Juventus are two top teams in there.
If his motivation is simply to add more trophies to his coaching career, PSG might be the right club for him if he decides to move from Manchester City. Ligue 1 is not as competitive as other leagues, he can easily win the domestic league trophy there but he has to work hard if he targets the Champions League trophy.
Guardiola's career journey has been very impressive since being promoted by Barcelona as the head coach, it is natural that he is considered as one of the best coaches in the world because he has succeeded in conquering the EPL which is known to be very competitive.

In order to win Champions League, PSG first task is to bring Mbappe back.
There is no guarantee, when Mbappe was accompanied by Messi and Neymar, he was unable to bring PSG to win the UCL title, let alone carrying the responsibility alone.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Previous news was that Pep Guardiola still hadn't thought about training the England national team, he was still focused on his own team, while the FA still needed a coach to fix his team, so only Tuchel was unemployed so he took this job, at least he was not too bad even though he was fired twice for not being good at leading his club.

If I'm not mistaken Haaland has just renewed his contract clause with Man City? Is that close to 100M?
It is still difficult for Barcelona to recruit Haaland while Man City needs him.
It would be a miracle if Barcelona were to buy Haaland. Because Barcelona is a team struggling with financial problems right now. In fact, I remember that they sent İlkay Gündoğan away from the team because of this. I don't think they wanted to send him away and buy Haaland. Because Haaland is a player who could be a huge burden on the team with his transfer fee and contract fee. To tell the truth, Haaland could play for Manchester City long enough to finish his career.
It's not about a miracle because Barcelona is a big team for sure some players want to play at this club it's just that we underestimate Barcelona because of poor finances so many people are skeptical Haaland can move to Barcelona.

Unless Barcelona get a new sponsor with a fresh amount of money or Spotify as the main sponsor can give more money then it could be that Haaland can be bought, although it is unlikely in the near future.

Despite the financial crisis we know Barcelona can still buy some of the players they need, I don't know how it all works but Barcelona have been successful in bringing in a lot of players.

And you know what's more interesting about the race between Real Madrid and Man United for that Bundesliga star? Apparently, Barcelona also wants to surprise their main rival, Real Madrid, because they will join the race for the left-back. It's funny, and they are quite confident about it. But, really, I don't really think about it. They even said they will sign Haaland too, Nico Williams, and maybe other football starts again in the same season as if they have a lot of money.
At least their hopes are quite high in these very difficult conditions lol.

To be honest, when it comes to transferring players for Barcelona at the moment I think it's reasonable to be skeptical that anything can happen because after all, with their current condition and financial problems I think it's too much if they push for players with a high value. We know that Davies at least currently has a value of 100 million or indeed looking at some other players like Haaland who are definitely worth more than 100 million and could even be 200 million as transfermarkt data then it is too much for Barcelona if they always want to be associated with this.
They are still struggling financially at least if they really want to join the player competition then they must try to improve cash flow first.

Journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon posted a Tweet about Trent Alexander-Arnold agreeing to move to Real Madrid in 2025 as a free agent.

https://x.com/Ramon_AlvarezMM/status/1846809353937977447

Apparently after Mbappe's problems Real are looking for attacking players and Trent is a good choice especially if available for free.
Although Trent has spent his whole career in Liverpool, but I think he will have no problems with adaptation in La Liga, especially at Real.

Trent moving to Real Madrid has little chance of not succeeding because he has proven himself countless times of being among or the best RB, thanks to consistency and often staying fit.

Real Madrid playing style will also fit him and he will also increase their attacking prowess with him their matches, all they need now is for the likes of their attack to synchronised especially Mbappe, Vinicius and Rodrigo once they start playing well, things will be more better with the contributions of Trent, if he moves to Real Madrid.

I think Real Madrid will be a big plus to him since he has already proven himself with his form nd playing abilities especially in the Right back, going to Real Madrid will not just help his career but it will help to improve the performance of Real Madrid seeing how they are struggling to blend with the arrival of Mbappe and his combination with the players in the team.

The rumor is yet to be confirmed and the team for the deal to be completed is next season when he will be moving as a free agent, if the deal becomes possible Real Madrid will have a stronger attack and Mbappe will certainly not find it difficult to start scoring goals for the Real Madrid team.

I think Manchester United's interest cannot prevent Real Madrid from wanting to buy Alphonso Davies. Because Real Madrid's level is a very different level. Every player wants to play in that team.
Real Madrid have shown interest in Alphonso Davies since last season, but they failed to sign him. This season, the squad managed by Ancelotti is having problems in the defensive area, Davies is their main target especially since the player has the potential to leave Bayern Munich for free after his contract expires next summer. Manchester United's chances of getting Davies' signature are very small because they have to compete with Real Madrid because every player has the desire to defend Real Madrid, especially since the club has shown interest in him, it is very unlikely that he will refuse the offer.

I've watched the interview where Paul Pogba made this statement and to be sincere, I saw in his eyes a determined man who's very convinced that he's coming back to perform more than he's ever performed before. Paul Pogba didn't allow the ban that's sidelined him for a very long time now to break him or make him become less of himself. In that interview, he talked about how he now has a mind to succeed more than he's ever.
Since he's accepted to a pay cut to remain at Juventus, the club management should try give him that opportunity to prove himself. In his statement he said “It’s not me that needs to speak, the pitch will do the talking and Thiago Motta will judge with his eyes”. It takes a lot of conviction for one to speak with such confidence so let them avail him with the chance to make that big statement.

According to the news of the day after.
Pogba released the the interviews without saying anything before with the club or his agents.
This is an arrogant move if proven right, since the interviews are done usually with the previews con sense of the club.

May are saying that is his strategy to get a bonus exit to cancel his contract, other are saying that was a good thing.

Not sure what to think about it.

Apparently after Mbappe's problems Real are looking for attacking players and Trent is a good choice especially if available for free.
Although Trent has spent his whole career in Liverpool, but I think he will have no problems with adaptation in La Liga, especially at Real.

The emergence of news about Trent is sticking out especially after they lost Carvajal who will indeed rest for a long time because of the ACL he suffered so that Trent's desire to be in Madrid is getting stronger after previously Madrid was interested in bringing Trent as a successor to replace Carvajal and Vasquez who are quite old at this time. Now the right-back position in Madrid has a gap because after Carvajal has to take a break to recover, tactically they only have Vasquez and of course this will be a little complicated in a busy schedule situation.

However, the news about Trent also cannot be used as a strong foundation because after all Trent is still tied to Liverpool at least until the end of this season and Liverpool also has the desire to extend the contract so even though there have been rumors that he will leave for free but for me it will not be easy.

Totally disagree with it. I'd rather see this as an experiment from FA. I was hoping they hold out for Guardiola at all costs, but they were become impatient. It's quite sad to me. FA couldn't find a proper English manager. Then, they chose Tuchel instead of looking for a better English one. They seem very rushed to hire a new manager.

I'm not a fan for this recruitment. And i think it's not gonna work.
Is Pep Guardiola an English coach that they should have waited for him. FA doesn't want to wait anymore and they want for a manager that's available and have a very good record. Thomas Tuchel isn't a bad manager, he won the biggest trophies in football in his first season at Chelsea with a Chelsea team that didn't have any superstars that you can depend on but he made them to work together as a team. Thomas Tuchel has cole Palmer that he's going to use very well the way he used Mason mount at Chelsea. There's also Saka, Foden and alot of other great talents that he's going to make work together so well and win England trophies, lets us just watch.
With Tuchel taking the spot, there is no way Pep would get the spot anytime soon at all. I do not think Pep will get to Spain neither, a national team managerial job is just too boring for someone like Pep too, I do not think he should do it. I believe he should go to some other team, maybe not in premier league or in La Liga, but there are other leagues.

I always supported an  idea of him at PSG for example. Because they do have the money for it, but they can't win anything special, theUCL is still elusive for them. It took Pep years and years to get UCL, and spent so much money but eventually he won it with City, maybe he could repeat the same thing for PSG as well. He could build a team there which will dominate the world of football.

Plus there are less competition at France for PSG as well, whereas there are so many competitions for City like Arsenal and Liverpool. So, I believe Pep going to PSG would be ideal fit for both sides and could see him manage for another five years at least.
That is the problem PSG is having. Finding themselves with weak clubs that will not encourage them to work harder compared to shen they are in the midst of strong clubs who are desperate to win the league. When your domestic league is not competitive, and you're the best, you will feel happy and satisfied. It's when you go out to play other clubs in a different league is when you will know that you are weak.

This is the challenge PSG is facing, they are the best in Ligue 1 and feel they're the best, but when they come to Europe, they play like an average team. Maybe, the same thing will happen if Guardiola becomes PSG coach in future, because he will always win the league and become a mess in UCL. Don't forget, it took him a very long time to win UCL for City despite playing in the midst of strong clubs.

I saw the news and I was very happy for him because he has been away for a while from football which he needs to get back to the coaching job. Coaching a team like England with that big squad depth is something that is very commendable and with the experience he has while coaching many clubs, he’ll undoubtedly succeed in this team and I think he’ll make the national team a great fit for any competition they’ll be participating in.

Thomas Tuchel has had a good record in the past so he should make some good success here also. He has promised to win England some important trophies they’ve missed in the past. We will wait to see the best he can bring out from this team because a lot will be expected from him as he assumes this job newly. With few matches to manage, I am sure he’ll go well for him as the head coach of England.
Sometimes, when someone good to managing a club will not be very good to managing a national team. For example, Capelo who had success managing Milan and Juventus but failed when managing England. This story happen many time on other country, and people expect him to managed a big country like england which I think will be a big burden to Tuchel. I don't know what the criteria, because when I look how Tuchel is not so successful to managing a big team, seem like they they take it randomly and in a hurry. As we know, Tuchel was failed to manage Munchen, and another premier league team, so that situation will happen also on national team.

Do you mean Fabio Capello? if so, he is one of my favorite coaches. he successfully brought Milan to win many trophies, Madrid, AS Roma. when he was handling the England national team, his career was not as brilliant as when he was handling a club team. I am surprised if Tuchel is associated with the England national team, even though currently the talk of the town is Pep Guardiola. according to our local newspaper, Tuchel was appointed as the England national team coach with an 18-month contract and he will officially start his duties on January 1, 2025. Fabrizio Romano also reported the same thing, Tuchel has completed a deal to become the England national team manager. Tuchel is actually a smart coach, but sometimes his patterns and systems are easy to predict. btw, this is just my opinion. but in fact there is nothing wrong if this German coach handles the national team, it is a new challenge for his career.

I hope he isn't wrong about this transfer news. Because you know it has been quite a rumour for a long time that Trent would sign for Real Madrid.  Roll Eyes

Obviously they are looking for a long-term player for RB position. Carvajal is 32 and Vazquez is 33 now. They don't have a long future at the team clearly.

People will surely criticize Trent's being the right one or not. Especially because of his weakness in defense. But Ancelotti is also a great manager who can make a player develop a new skill.  Wink

yeah, saw a lot of reaction about his link to real Madrid after his birthday surprise that came from Jude Bellingham and there closeness during training. I'm not sure real Madrid would be the next stop for the Liverpool star even though the likelihood of him renewing his contract with Liverpool at the January expiration is very slim. Also, considering him as a potential initiate in place of mbape is something I can't factor in too well but if the move pulls up well, it's going to be another firm of chear by real Madrid considering that  Trent who's currently one of the strongest full back in the wild would be joining an already loaded team that's filled up with stars accross all positions.

I think Thomas Tuchel made the right decision by accepting England's offer. There can be a lot of pressure in club teams because there are so many matches played, but there is not that much pressure in national teams. Also, the quality of the England team is one of the best in Europe. He probably knows how to direct it the best. He will enter a slightly less stressful period as England manager. I think he made the right decision, I think that's what I think.
I still think the pressure in managing a club is not up to that of managing a country, especially a country like England, they have not been doing so bad but people do complain about how Southgate doesn’t manage the players well. There was a lot of pressure on Southgate to bring the team to their best because they have more than enough talented players to be at the top. With a club you have enough matches and time to prove yourself but it’s not the same with country side and you will have to keep working with different players from different teams that barely understands each other.

When talking about pressure in the national team and in the club, it is not much different even many famous coaches that we currently know rarely take offers to be national team coaches. A strong enough reason that being a national team coach is not easy, the pressure is carrying the country big name to appear in the world's main competition.
I agree with you, the pressure in coaching National team is is as high as that of club football because International competitions are more competitive which makes the pressure in coaching a National team high. We all pray Tuchel succeeds at this job this time around because teams don’t seem to be interested in him because of how he failed at Bayern Munich last season. He is not a bad coach he just needs everyone support.

In terms of challenges, of course, Guardiola will be more challenged and motivated to coach in England than Ligue 1 or Serie A, The fierce competition with big teams in the English league certainly presents an extraordinary sensation by continuing to innovate to maintain the performance of the team, but by coaching PSG, I think Guardiola does not need to work hard in handling their squad considering the competition that has been too easy in the league so far,  If Pep moves to PSG, of course the main focus may be more on the Champions League, because Ligue 1 trophies has not offered a strong challenge so far, but if Pep really wants to become a record-breaking coach by coaching 5 teams in five different leagues, of course it is likely that he will try to coach the teams in Ligue 1 and also Serie A later, because so far he has managed to achieve glory in 3 teams from 3 different leagues in european.

I think Manchester United's interest cannot prevent Real Madrid from wanting to buy Alphonso Davies. Because Real Madrid's level is a very different level. Every player wants to play in that team. However, there are some problems of course, such as whether the player will be able to play in the first 11. No player, especially a player at Real Madrid's level, wants to be on the bench. Ancelotti can always bench some players in order not to disrupt the team's dynamics. If Davies is going to be such a player, he may not want to go to Real Madrid, but if he is guaranteed a squad, he would of course want to play in Real Madrid.
Real Madrid have shown interest in Alphonso Davies since last season, but they failed to sign him. Alphonso Davies, in addition to his main position as a left back, he can also be placed as an attacking midfielder, so it is very natural that Real Madrid wants the Canadian international player considering that his contract will also end in the summer, opening up the opportunity to bring him to the Bernabeu for free.
No matter how Manchester United does not have a big chance if their opponent is Madrid, I think Davies will prefer a club from Spain.

In addition, Los Blancos are also eyeing a right back in the upcoming transfer market, there are names Pedro Porro from Tottenham, Jeremie Primpong Bayern Leverkusen and Juanlu from Sevilla.
The chaos in Madrid's back line requires them to shop for players quickly.
Pedro Porro is the second option after Trent Alexander Arnold, who we know is Madrid's main priority until now there has been no good news, especially since the Tottenham player has the same playing style as TAA, helping the attack and creating opportunities, that style of play will suit Ancelotti's tactics.

Marca has also published it if TAA joins Real Madrid. Even they said that, if he did not renew his contract, their front-page news is usually rage click-bait. They do it to sell newspapers. However, it'd be so happy if their click-bait title will come true.

And nothing confirmed so far from Liverpool's side. But, I hope he will leave his club to join Real Madrid soon. If it's true, Liverpool will struggle to find someone at his level. He is still young enough.

Tuchel made the right choice accepting the England job but pressure has nothing to do with it. It's going to be one of the most stressful jobs he's ever had. The English media is one big mess. they've already started attacking him and bringing up stuff about his personal life and divorce.
They don't like the fact that a non-Englishman is England's manager which is some bs because they might not be complaining this much if it was Pep Guardiola. He's going to get a lot of pressure and criticism and even hate. The only way to turn that around is to provide results immediately just as the case was with Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich.

I think it's a good thing the English FA went for a non-Englishman for the job because England historically doesn't have good managers. I mean, it's no secret that an English manager has never won the English premier league.
England has a lot of quality in all areas of the field and with a manager like Tuchel, they might have a chance at some silverware.
You should also know that his predecessor got back-to-back Euro finals so any less from Tuchel won't be appreciated. He's under a lot of pressure I assure you.
There have only been a few times in history when a manager of another nationality has been appointed, these were Sven Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello, but none of them were able to make England Champions. Southgate's achievements are not a failure, but he was never able to bring things to a victory in the final, he received a lot of criticism and was forced to leave his post. Tuchel will be the new manager, I did not expect England to decide to do such a step again.
