Everyone knows Liverpool is the top club in the Premier League this season since all of their players are fit and will continue to win league games. I'm just hearing rumors about M.salah leaving the club because he hasn't renewed his contract, and some think he'll depart and transfer to the Saudi League. But in my opinion, I still believe that Liverpool is still interested in him because he is a very talented player and they won't like to lose him because he is still doing well for the club. I also believe that the league title will become theirs because they have already defeated the majorclubs in the competition he just to finish the fixtures to receive the title. Liverpool are doing good in the ucl but i can't predict that they the favorite to win the title, because they still have next round to play they have not face some clubs yet. And Liverpool need to be in the semi finals first and see if they will be the favorite or not, before I glcan decided if they will be the best to win. Because I still have beleave for Guadiola and Ancelotti if there players are back they will pickup form.
The offer is on the table, it may take a while until both sides come to an agreement, of course Salah will want more and of course team will want to pay less, but there is a negotiation process now. Same goes for Virgil Van Dijk and Trent Alexander Arnold as well, all three of them will have an extension this season and I am pretty sure that Liverpool will manage to convince all three of them to stay as well. When your team is doing this great, a contract extension isn't just about keeping the player for longer, which is of course a very important thing, but also it is more about keeping the player for this season to finish it better.
If you end up not offering Salah any contract for example, he may start to play worse, not because he doesn't want to, but that could still happen, he may not care anymore, and I guess that's why they will offer him something much better. I remember when watching the last dance, Scottie Pippen wasn't getting paid anything good, and he just missed first half of the season knowingly because that's how he justified his salary, so players do these kind of things just to make sure they stick it to the man type of feeling, and Salah may start playing worse if he is not offered something soon.
