Barcelona are playing really differently under Hansi Flick's control. Smiley One thing was obvious that their defense was in terrible condition against Benfica. I didn't expect them to have this much struggle just like everyone else. However that comeback was unbelievable. Who could have guessed it? This took me to the incredible comeback by them against PSG in the Champions League from a really bad aggregate. Once they are in control of a manager who knows what he is doing, they don't lose faith in any game easily.

That 5-4 final score is also not a common thing to see in this tournament. It was a football feast.

If he survives at Manchester City, it might be because he wants to leave with some definition of success. Finishing in a top four position at the end of the season might be enough for Guardiola to raise his head and walk away from the club at the end of the season. He is trying to turn things around and maybe he will stop the decline but Manchester City are no longer a fearful opponent.

I feel they will have a horrible time in Europe and will be knocked out of the competition soon. That means eventually their focus will be on the Premier League.

The Champions League is back soon. I think the biggest match of the week is going to be PSG-Manchester City.

It is an important match for PSG to get themselves in top 24 and for Manchester City to get to a safer place. I didn't like any of their start to the Champions League. Manchester City had big problems in the Premier League at the same time. It is a difficult match for both of them. If Manchester City benefit from the boost by the 6-0 win over Ipswich then maybe they can get one step ahead.

I did not watch the match nor the highlights therefore cannot comment on what happened but how far do you think Real Madrid will make it in the competition this season? As for Lille winning their game against Real Madrid, yet it was a shock as was Benfica with a 4-0 win against Atletico Madrid, that was surprise of the day.
