Altcoin will be a good choice to invest! Bitcoin is also very attractive but hard to get 5x, 10x profit in a short time!
I choosing Bitcoin with $ 3,000. I think the finest coins are Bitcoin and Ethereum to invest at this moment. After the market has risen, I will start to buy altcoins.
Now is a very bad time to invest , I think you need to look at the market for 2-3 weeks and then make a choice

I think ETH and BTC is the best investment right now. I would invest 1000 Dollar in ETH, 1000 Dollar in BTC, 500 Dollar in MTC (Docademic) and 500 dollar in CBC (CashBetCoin). To be honest any crypto investment right now is perfect in the long term as we are at the bottom of the crypto market my option is wait for august end and invest on ziliqa
You can invest in coins like ziliqa, quarkchain, seele etc. Diversification can avoid you from sudden drops. Ziliqa is already a grown coin so try looking for other options too.
My choice is to buy altcoins, I would choose a token and buy it. Keeping bitcoin for me is not good

Well, I will prefer ethereum for doing investment. ETH market condition is very good now and this price will rise up more in the future. So I think investing in ETH will be the best decision as it has a very good potential.
Firstly I will buy ethereum. After I will join very good ico's. if you do not want to join to ico's You should be hamper. Not one coin minimum invest 5 coins. Why because this plan mininum harm reduction
If i have this 3000$ dor sure ill buy 3 eth and hold it until bull market come. I guess to hold and sell when december come in. My profit can up to 3000$,means 100% my money will be double if i buy eth now at dip. One more thing, eth is a sure investment so dont worry to loss your money unoike buying some alts
For that much money to invest i will choose bitcoin and etherium , i will diverse my investments on both coins because they have the potential to doubled or even tripled your money in a long term. Bitcoin is the number one cryptocurrency that we all know and it is being the number one reason for most investors to make money and make an income from it. Secondly the etherium is just like bitcoin and it is next to bitcoin in terms of gaining profits in long term investments.
I will choose EOS, although it is very bad now, but I believe it will be better.
You can invest in one of those great hidden gems from idex.market that will have masternode in the future with great use case like MAtrix AI or TE Food or VeChain Thor.

Just try to split your investment into 3 altcoin but make sure it has a potential to grow dont put your money on shitcoin or else you want to lose your capital try to explore in cryptoworld and do research which altcoin can have potetial, I suggest the top 15 altcoin on coinmarketcap like EOS, NEO, ADA
It is better to invest in coins that are on the top of the coinmarketcap, and my advice for your money is 50% for ethereum investment and 50% neo investment.
Why wait until august if you can invest now? The price of crypto market is still best buy so if I have this amount to invest spread into potential coins not only this ziliqa. Include btc and ethereum in your list to purchase coins this will a big profit in your folio.
Don't invest in anything all of your assets. It is not a good decision. Always keep a good backup and then go for investment. Investment means risk, you know well about it. Though I Respect your thoughts, But I suggest you invest in some proven Coin Like EOS, NEO, ADA, IOTA And you must invest in The Bitcoin. 3K USD is a big amount in this situation, So, Better you think about my suggestion. From my perspective if I have this amount of money then I will definitely invest in btc because btc have good values in market also it creates good positions also its giving highest profit to their customers so it has good future also in 2018 price is low but end of the year this price will be increase.
Personally i like to invest on bitcoin. Because its prices are always increasing and their transaction system also very good. So I feel safe when i connect with this coin. I believe they lead the market for a long time.
