would advise me to take a look at the etherium. This coin is the second after bitcoin for popularity and capitalization. The reliability of this coin is beyond doubt. For this amount, this is the appropriate currency for investing.
I'd buy slowly because it's almost impossible to catch the bottom. And I'd buy more that one altcoin and reduce the risks.

For me, my best this August to setember will be Ethereum. Ethereum price right now is left behind by bitcoins recovery. I think it is highly possible to Ethereum to caught up to bitcoin this next months. So I bet Ethereum.
I would invest in the whole top cryptocurrency, EOS ETH here would be the main part of my investment
I guess this is the right time to buy bitcoin...after a long time of falling bitcoin price will recover in those mounths
I will invest 50% in Bitcoin, the other 50% I invest in coins like Tradove B2BCoin (BBC), Stellar (XLM), Eidoo (EDO).

Zilliqua is a wonderful project and its will be a great coin in the future. I see that you have a nice taste with investing in Zilliqua but I can also advise you to invest in EOS. EOS is also a good platform.

Ziliqa is an amazing project, the coin has grown considerable since December last year, I have my reservation if it still has much room for growth.Maybe choose a coin that has not mooned but has a lot of potential. my option is wait for august end and invest on ziliqa
I think that market is not good at the moment and it is better to choose stable cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. 6 ETH for 3000$ it will be good choise and I thik that you will get profit in 1 year perspective.
If I have $3000 I wish to invest in crypto, I will invest 40% on bitcoin, 30% in ethereum and the remaining 30% I will spread it on altcoin that has potential.
If I had that money now, I'd invest it in ripple and etherium. But that's my opinion. The market will begin to revive closer to autumn.
NEO would definitely recommend it. It's time to buy it. You will get a 30% gain in the bull season or at the end of August at the latest. But neo is going to make a nice leap.
Don't ask for peoples opinion over here when investing. They will tend to be biased towards the coin they have invested on no matter how shit that coin is. You better do your own research and look for coins that you think actually have high potential. Try investing on coins that are top on the market right now. This lowers the chances of suffering from huge loss.
I think bitcoin is still the good choice to invest because it start to rise now and i believe it will reach more than it's value last year 2017. Bitcoin has a good future and always has a potential to grow more because of the demand that continuously growing.
If I had to invest 3000$ in cryptocurrencies I would buy some Cardano, NEO, Ontology, PRiV, and some ripple. There are other good coins too but these are my first choice coins.
Zilliqa is more than crashed now, i would not invest on them, they have no real product so far so you are just investing into an speculative coin that might be going up or down
Undoubtedly my choice is bitcoin. I'm pretty sure bitcoin price will reach 15k marks by the end of this year. So almost double plus profits within few months. My theory is very simple, don't underestimate the power of bitcoin. There is a big possibility of price hike. We need to understand that nothing is impossible here.
