This is difficult to know, some say bitcoin will not be on the top once something better comes along, but I've my doubts this is going to happen, bitcoin is too popular and if such a coin doesn't appear soon enough then things will become even harder for this theoretical coin, so it's likely bitcoin will remain at the top of the market for a long time.

I do not know for sure how long bitcoin will lead the crypto world, but I speculate, that bitcoin will lead until the bitcoin ends up. until the year 2024.

Changes are inevitable and the one whos on top will someday have to step down from its throne, bitcoin is no excuse to it, even though bitcoin has pioneered crypto currency it still has a lot of flaws in its system and other coins have better or at least a step forward ahead of bitcoin in the case of scalability.

While Wall Street has their eyes on the btc there is nothing to worry about. However, BTC has to solve soon the problem of the exhaustion of its network and the high fees charged in the transactions. Moreover, the delay between its blocks is so high.

Bitcoin will be leader for long , it is first coin in crypto currency, from 0..05$ to now it is reached $14000 , i hope there is no end for bitcoin and it remains the king of all coin crypto currency coins . bitcoin is completely de-centralized one. Now so many people investing in bitcoin still . I hope bitcoin will be the leader for long term.

It will last as the top investors choice as long as we do trust or the community will demonstrate positive and optimistic approach on its future. This will not happen if we surrender and follow so much FUD and will not fight misinformation and black propaganda from the mainstream banking system insecure officials and even to crypto investors who promote others alternative coins and destroy the image of bitcoin.

few more year or maybe even more with implementation of new strategies (technologies). Block size debate must be solved and transaction fees lowered. If I am well informed bitcoin still keeps the dominance. 40% of totoal crypto interest.

Definitely a long time but not long enough I think after looking at today's charts and graphs regarding how unstable the price fluctuations are. Pretty scary, if you ask a financial analyst who actually sees bitcoins as a bubble. But I don't there is a viablr candidate to replace bitcoins yet. Etherium can but it will take time as well.

I don't think Bitcoin will be the leader for crypto all the time. It has some problems, that other coins don't have. BTC will slowly lose his part in the total trade turnover. With time little by little people will use more convenient coins.

Always bitcoin will be the one, and is neccessary, bitcoin is the first one so is hard to see another altcoin surpassing bitcoin.
it took a long road for bitcoin, so i dont think some other altcoin can make that without effort.
