Join the world-leading crypto sportsbook NOW!
Just got an email back that I need to pass KYC in order to receive the money. I will do it, but it seems to be that more and more crypto casinos now require KYC...
KYC for a 0.01btc withdrawal seems like too much, imo. Like @Haunebu said, your account probably raised some red flags (ip or betting behaviour similar to other accounts) and fj are just being cautious. Wouldn't be the first time this happens, tho (randomly requesting kyc)...Keep us posted

Guess who else got slapped with the KYC stuff while trying to withdraw 5mbtc from their account? lol

This is the first of the 5-6 crypto bookies i've used in the last two, two and a half years to request one. Imagine giving your documents to random guys on the internet for $200.  Cheesy

They (FJ) have my permission to keep my balance (around and over 0.01) and chuck a few beers on my name, i'm out.

No doubt that Jackmate is an awesome promotion as anyone can join it for free with a chance to win decent money, but I do think it is not really good for long term purpose as I think most of the participants leave the site after the promotion ended then they will only come back when there is another new similar promotion. How if Fortunejack make a bit change for this Jackmate, lets say only active players are eligible to participate. Active here can be something like have to make at least 1 deposit or have to wager xx amount first. I suggest this to avoid abusers who participate the free Jackmate with many alt accounts to have more chances to win something without any risks.

I think it works in both ways. When a site offers a nice free promotion on the site, more players will play on it and will probably keep coming back even if the promotion is over (that's the case for me). There will always be abuse with these kind of promotions but by asking KYC to the users who won and want to withdraw the money, they can limit the abuse.

Hey @Bitinity, thanks for the honest feedback.

We will be bringing lot more social challenges in the upcoming days. Stay tuned, we're sure everyone will love it a lot.

Good to hear it, I would like to see more improvement on the site as well especially related to "rewards". These days, most casinos offering rewards for being active on the casino such as rakeback, regular bonus, rank up bonus, and some other rewards. Hopefully you can offer something similar or even better rewards so players will stay wagering on your site longer than before.

@Bitnity those are valid points indeed and this industry is getting more competitive day by day, hence FJ will seriously need to implement these points. Furthermore I’m excited cause I’m sure FJ will launch Jackmate once more, and I can’t wait to go head to head with you’ll and then beat you’ll (hopefully) for the top price.

Small update from my side: I just verified my idendity; the system on Fortunejack is fully automatic and only took 3 minutes. Hopefully this is enough to receive my withdrawal.
I also play on fiat bookies but receiving my payment (via bank transfer) always happened in less than 48h and most of the times in <24h.

Just want to let everybody know that I have received my payment! After it was released, it only took a couple of hours anymore, thanks Fortunejack.

Looking forward to the new social challenges that are coming soon. Hopefully I will be able to win another prize or freebet  Grin

Reading up through some your latest posts, seems that you have just been asked for KYC because you requested a withdrawal because you won it from the free prediction contest.
@Fortunejack, is it a new terms applied for withdrawal where it comes from non a deposited winning or you are starting to request KYC for most withdrawal even if it comes from a deposited money?

FJ never confirmed about it FJ just said suspected account activity will be required KYC, but based on some withdrawal issues and KYC all related to bonuses or free bets, It's not written directly in the rules but I guess it's actually implemented the reason is to prevent abuse.

🎪 FLASH RACE FOR PROVABLY FAIR GAMES 🎪

Anothe wager race with decent prizepool but for top 3 winners only, it is obvious that the main concern is to give whales good chance to earn extra reward by playing. Come on Fortunejack, give us some different contests which is suitable for all players and with more paid places (not only 3). You have done it well with your Jackmate where players do not even need to spend any money because it was free and all players has the same chance to win decent reward so I guess you can provide contest for the slot games which is not wagering contest.

Any reputed site don't care either any user leave them for any rule or not. They want to keep safe themselves as well as their users for that reason they may ask kyc. There are a lot users who violates rule of a site as to avoid that types of users they should take kyc too.
If you mean that FJ doesn't care about their users leaving their site because of certain rules, I disagree. They would have gone out of business long back with that kind of mentality in my opinion.

Crypto gambling sites should only ask for KYC for important reasons though some of them request them for pointless reasons sometimes in order to avoid paying out the winnings since many crypto gamblers hate providing their KYC.
There are certainly some places that goes with "my way or highway" situations, because they rather do it the way they want to or go bankrupt like you say if they do not. Like for example I know one other place that forced KYC to every single person who wanted to register and gamble, without KYC you can't gamble there, but for over a year they didn't had ANY KYC at all, so what happened? They went from (just now the gambling number) nearly 17 million bets per day to now 11 million bets, it dropped as much as 5 million bets at its lowest when it first started but some just gave up and rejoined and gave KYC.

So they nearly got bankrupted if those people didn't get back, which shows you that there are some casinos willing to either be good the way they want to, or bankrupt meanwhile instead of actually doing what the customers would prefer, it is a common situation in crypto.

^  I think a lot of people in crypto have gotten spoiled imo.  Try using a fiat book or any fiat gambling site or poker site.  A lot of them would take three days before your withdrawal goes to your Neteller, Skrill or whatever ewallet you’re using.  And not just that, most of them flat out require KYC to cash out.
I agree. I have used both Skrill and Neteller in the past in books like Pinnacle etc and my withdrawals usually took a decent amount of time to process.

On the other hand, BTC withdrawals in crypto gambling sites usually took only a few hours to a day(Max). Altcoin withdrawals were way quicker in comparison. Majority of the gamblers lack the ability to stay patient and end up whining and complaining for different reasons.

Complaining about high minimum withdrawal amounts and withdrawal fees makes sense though.

Today I also resuested a withdrawal of 0.01 BTC and I got an email that there will be a delay in the withdrawal due to some standard security checks. Will update when I receive the payment (probably tomorrow).
It is a usual thing in Fortunejack as I got the same thing when I requested withdrawal in the past and I believe most other real regular players has experienced the same. I can say that 70% of my withdrawal requests needs to be checked first or need to be confirmed first before Fortunejack process it. No need to worry as you'll get it eventually although I have to say that it is not really good for players if all withdrawals needs security check. I think Fortunejack needs to do something for this case, as it may make players feel unsatisfied with the service.
I still believe that they are doing security a bit harsher here than anywhere else and we could fix that with a lot more staff. I understand that fortunejack doesn't make infinite amount of money and that is why we can't be expecting them to make that much hiring as well which makes sense.

However we are in between of two things here, either they do not hire more staff because they are not making that much money which would make sense but at the end we are going to end up with super slow, slower than anywhere else in the crypto casino world type of withdrawal period, or we are going to see them hire more professionals on this job which will cost them a lot of money and then we will have a lot faster withdrawals as well. Which one makes sense is no-brainer, for fortunejack not hiring and making people makes more sense and for gamblers hiring a ton means a lot better because you get your money quicker whereas you do not pay for the staff anyway, casino does.

@Bitinity has your account been verified? and does the delay still occur if the account has been verified?

Nope, my account is email verified and phone number verified only. My last withdrawal was on June (a month ago), and it was delayed due to security check as usual but it did not take too long time (in less than an hour) as you can see on below image:

I believe the checking time is based on the case of each withdrawal, it can be quick as my last withdrawal but it may take longer time like hours or days depends on the case. I'm not really sure about verified account (KYC), whether fully verified accounts still get "security check" or not.

I understand your point  Cheesy

But I want to know if babygun claim bonus or join any contest? usually the reason for the delay or security check is related to the bonus
If FJ applies the same rules to members who don't claim anything, it means FJ wants their players to go to another site

I won a couple of freebets on this forum during the EURO 2020 contest and got some nice winnings out of these freebets. I didn't claim any other bonus (except for the freespins when signing up)
