Yeah, I meant parlays. Some betting sites are calling them accumulators. I guess that is because you accumulate the odds by adding more pairs. Thanks for prompt reply and can't wait for the competition to start.

Hmm, I'm not sure what you mean by accumulators, Trofo, but if by that you mean parlays, then yes, those types of bets (as well as single bets) will be valid for the purpose of this competition.

As for the conversion between BTC/USD, you won't need to worry about it during the tournament - we will post what the exact BTC equivalent is to the $50 minimum starting bankroll soon, and participants will just use that BTC value as the baseline.

80 bets minimum is a little bit on a high side for me so I will enter the competition with 2 accounts. I will use this opportunity to check a little about my way of playing. One account will be higher risk / bigger rewards and the other will be slow and steady profit. At list I hope so

Shouldn't we use BTC as our main currency? All the bets will be made in BTC after all. It is one extra step to always need to calculate BTC equivalent of lets say 5% of our bankroll. Wouldn't it be more simple if you lock in the BTC/USD value and use just BTC?

When you write bets it means we can use single bet tickets and accumulators?

Important Update

Hello everyone, as promised the "Registration Thread" is now open.
Follow this link that will take you to that thread in the Games and Rounds sections, and follow the instructions in order to register.

I will create a new Discussion Thread as soon as possible. Right now we will continue to use this one.

We've made a few small changes as requested. We tried to get to middle term, in terms of what users were asking.

Here are the small changes:
- We've removed the max bet limit for the competition. You will now continue to get points until the competition ends, and you will never run out of bets

- We've lowered the minimum number of bets in order to qualify for prizes from 100 to 80. I know it's not that much, but hopefully it will help.
Remember that right now we don't have a minimum odds requirements, so on worst case scenario you can try to fill in some bets at low odds if needed.

- The email must be unique, but don't forget it' optional. So if you want you can create an account with email, and the other two without email (or all three without email, it's up to you of course).
- As for sending coins between accounts, you can tip other users on the site. Either click their name in chat/users online list or search by username. There is a user lookup button on main menu.


Well, I guess that if a user places a lot of bets and still gets real profit, I don't think we should penalize him for that. We decided to remove the 100 max bet limit, because we only had it to prevent the 13% stake bonus to be exploited, so I guess it's ok to remove it now.

Hello vd309, you are correct. We will open registration tomorrow, and it will remain open probably during a week, we will say something about that tomorrow as well. The competition itself will go live after registrations closes, and then it will last for a month after it goes live.

Registration will happen in our Registration Thread, in the games and rounds section:

You can participate with up to 3 entries, and for each entry you will need a different account at BetKing.io. So yes, you can create specific accounts for the competition, and that is actually encouraged since our prizes will have a rollover on them.

As for the 5% bet stake, you shouldn't worry about that. You can make bigger bets if you want, and you will get paid for them as normal bets. We will however have a live leaderboard, that will calculate your Daily ROI% for the competition. So bets above 5% will have an effect on that leaderboard, as if they were made with just 5% of your competition bankroll (but like I said before, it's still a normal real bet, and you will get paid normally).


Hello cazkooo. You don't need to wear avatar/sig or personal message. That is completely optional, and we will just lower the rollover requirements for those who decide to wear it. If you choose not to, you can still participate in the competition, and will still get your prizes, if you qualify.

As for the rollover itself, I would say they are quite small. Remember that you will not pay to participate in the competition. You are required to place normal bets, as you normally would in any bookie, and get paid for your wins. The thing is, that by placing your bets with us, you will have a chance to win prizes. That is in my opinion an amazing added value to your bets.

Also, about the rollover, don't forget that all your prizes, once received, will be "immediately" available to place bets. So basically you will be placing bets for free, and still getting your wins.

I mean, if you already place bets, why not place them with us and try to win prizes? Think about it!

(Also, with our sig/avatar and PM, you remove the requirements for our monthly prizes, and greatly reduce the rollover on the other prizes)

To be honest everything was great and I intended to participate atleast untl I know there is a rollover for the price and even with the signature / avatar usage requirement  Best of luck for the competition

The registration starts tomorrow but not the competition itself, right? Is it a one month thing? Can we have 3 accounts just for this and not using my main one because I usually don't make such small bets, and I don't want all of my bets to be considered as 5% stake.

Hello everyone, thank for your comments and discussion. I will talk about all these things with the team, and let you know what we will do as soon as possible. Registration opens tomorrow, so it shouldn't take long for an answer.

Also, let's keep in mind that we will probably need to test things and then get a better understanding on how to make the competition better.

That's what we kept doing with our last sponsor, and intend to do again with BetKing.io.
The change from the Global ROI% (used in the old format) to the Point System (for this new edition) was an example of that.

I agree with this 100%. There is no way I would find 100 matches which qualify as value inside 1 month. I have best results when betting only max bet on best tips I can find. That is maybe 25 per month. of course I can play some minimum amount bet and fill the number but that is something I prefer not to do.

If this rule is there because betking wants us to use some amount of real money playing this competition maybe you can change the rule in the way that user has to make 100 minimum stake (1% bank) bets or 20 max bet stakes (5% bank). Should be the same amount if my math is any good while I am still sleepy in the morning

100 minimum bets is really high guys you probably need to change it unless you want people to mix their gambling with tipping
haven't found a single professional tennis , soccer or basketball tipster that makes 100 picks a month , it's not easy to achieve

make the minimum something like 50 and no maximum bets , that would be way better

I believe will be only joining with one account (although not 100% sure about that, 100 bets as a minimum is a high quota) and hopefully it will be fun. I doubt it will be fun because of the conditions and I am also at work and don't have much time, so probably I will post my bets one day earlier but let's see how events develops further. Username is the same as here (which I hope I haven't forgot the password of betking already  )

I think its in both intrests as well as the sportsbook and bettor,it should be more then 100 bets,a minimum is a must but max shouldnt exist
some people have diffrent strategies to make 30 bets per day to achive profit some need only 3 or 1,please remove it

well a tipster with a lot of free time have a great advantage ... he can place bets without limits . are you sure we don't need to set a limit for final rank?

Hi Joca97, regarding the 100 bet limit, I don't really see any problem in removing the max bet limit, and just keep it as a minimum requirement for prizes.

We had that rule from the previous competition, to limit the rewards a player could get from the 13% stake bonus. Since we removed that incentive I guess we can remove the max bet limit.

I will talk to the team, but we will probably remove that max cap. As usual we want to keep betting as free as possible, and still maintain a balanced and competitive tournament to all.

Regarding the account creation I will answer you and Trofo as soon as possible.

Thx for your answers above. Now I have few more questions regarding Betking itself.

I created one account labeled Trofo for now. Can I create another 2 accounts with same Email? I would use same Email and label accounts Trofo2 & Trofo3. After the competition I would use only the first/main one.

Is there option to send BTC between accounts on Betking? Like Nitrogen has. You can send BTC to friend/alt account internally without paying fees and waiting for confirmations. That way I could make the deposit to one account (1 tx) and shift funds to my other accounts as needed.

Now it's time to discuss our Rules
 
1. How will our Registration process happen?
2. How do you make valid bets for this competition?

All of that is described bellow. Please read it carefully and place any doubts you might have.


1. Registration Process
1.1 Create one or up to three accounts at Betking.io (our sponsor) if you don't already have them
1.2 One account is needed for each entry you would like to use (see Rule 1.6 about Multi Entry).
1.3 Make a post in our "Registration Thread", informing us that you will be joining our competition, and provide us with your Betking.io Username

1.4 Minimum bankroll $50 (Bitcoin equivalent).
1.5 There is no need to make the $50 deposit. You can participate as long as you are able to make valid bets for this competition (Check Point 2. "Betting Rules", for more information on Valid Bets).

1.6 Each player can register up to 3 entries for this competition (Multi Entry).
1.7 Each entry will be treated as an unique account, meaning that all rules apply (e.g. number of bets required to qualify for prizes, etc).
1.8 You can compete for prizes with all three entries at the same time (meaning possible multiple prize wins on both Monthly and Weekly formats).

2. Betting Rules (how to make valid bets)
2.1 All Bets must be made from the Betking.io account provided during the registration for this competition. Bets not made this way will not count for the competition.

2.2 For the purpose of this competition the max bet stake is capped at 5% of your current bankroll.
2.3 For the purpose of this competition the minimum bet stake is 1% of current bankroll. All bets below this amount will not count for the competition.

Note: Please understand that every bet made, above or bellow these values, will of course be fully paid in your account, but they will only affect the competition leaderboard as if they were made with 5% of current bankroll, or will have no effects at all, if they were made bellow 1% of current bankroll.

2.4 An exact number of 100 bet slips must be made during the competition to qualify for prizes (no more no less).
If you make less you will not qualify for prizes.
If you make more you can still get prizes, assuming you rank that entry in a prize position, but you will get no additional points from those bets.

2.5 You cannot have "duplicate" bets even if they are made at different odds. If you do so, we will only count the first one.

3. Side Notes
3.1 These rules may suffer changes at any moment. If that happens everyone will be informed.

3.2 This competition will be monitored by me and u9y42, with the help of Betking.io

3.3 A leaderboard for the competition will be created and will be available in Betking.io

3.4 We reserve the right to disqualify users trying to abuse this competition in any way.
