Hi there,

I read that there's not much to bump at the moment, but if you find any way to help out, here's the ID of my stuck transaction:

Transaction ID: 3bf2e0fdd4a9ad01b83c679f83c247d019ecfa6f18c4fd075978b2c47075200a

Would very much appreciate some kind of bump to the chain!

Hi Mocacinno,
I put in a transaction on December 6th, and it's still stuck!! I'm completely new to the whole bitcoin/blockchain space but I thought the whole point of the system was to have faster and more secure transactions?  Huh

If you can please help me with this, I would really appreciate it:

Transaction ID: 96007cf84636c3f677074928a630cefd1323b704a6eac58e32072349f8eabe69
Receiving address: Lykke Wallet / 3Cp39Dnck9mtW4TDeGu1QVmY1CuhBVsaba

I intend to tip, Thanks!!

Hi Mocacinno, were you able to look at the above transaction? Just wonder what your advice would be to get my transaction confirmed?
Thank you!

i pushed it to antpool, but chances of it being picked up are small tbh... as a receiver, you can attempt a CPFP, but you'll have to pay the fee for the complete (stuck) parent transaction.. Since it's a 45 kb tx, that fee will be huge...

A different (political) option would be to force the sender to clean up their act and fix their problem

Thanks for the response mocacinno. If I go back to the sender and ask them to fix their problem then what do they need to do on their end on to fix it?

Public service announcement:
In the past i was able to help people using 3 tactics:
1) push their transaction to antpool's priority queue
2) push their transaction to ViaBTC's free priority queue
3) give them advice on how to create a CPFP, RBF or double spending the inputs of the unconfirmed transaction

However....
1) Lately, somebody, has been spreading around the link to antpool's priority queue, so people who are cheaping out on their fees can abuse this system to save a couple of bucks
2) ViaBTC's free slots are gone in less than a second... I haven't been able to push a single transaction to their queue today
3) I can still give advice on CPFP, RBF or Double spending... However, do know that this advise is rather technical...

So, from now on, i will only help people to fix their own problem... I will no longer be pushing their transactions to priority queues... I haven't discussed this with HCP (yet), but i do hope he shares the same idear....
Sadly, it seems like the ones who were spamming AntPool accelerator have now switched to ViaBTC. I get the impression people are botting it to get transactions submitted to gain "tips"... Undecided

Once again, the greed of a few has ruined it for everyone else Sad Undecided

What this means, is that there are now pretty much no "easy" options left for getting transactions unstuck.

I will continue to try ViaBTC (and AntPool) when and where I can, but what used to be pretty much a guaranteed confirmation is now maybe a 1% chance at best.

To avoid issues, please either pay the required Bitcoin fees, (or move to altcoins Tongue)

Hi !
Could some MINER help me?

I have 3 transactions stucked since day 7 dec!
I used 25 sat / per byte

Never happened before wait so long. Also, I have already tried ViaBTC and nothing.

THX since now!

Sorry to tell you, but most miners are just in it for the profit. Even if you ask them nicely, they won't include any less profitable transaction in their blocks for free.
The couple of miners that do accept some less profitable transactions for free won't be browsing bitcointalk just to find people they could potentially help.

At this moment, i'm afraid i don't know any free transaction acceleration services that still work... So you're left with either waiting it out, or fixing your own problem by either bumping the fee (if you opted in RBF), double spending the inputs of the unconfirmed transaction, or by generating a RBF.

It's up to you, but if you don't take action, chances of your transactions confirming are slim to none... The recommanded fee at this time is 390 sat/byte for a 95% chance of getting in the next 3 blocks... So 25 sat/byte doesn't have a very good chance of getting in...

I am very afraid ... i sent via blockchain . Info
I am fucked

i don't know its a bittrex wallet..

Both the sending and receiving wallet?
In that case, your only option is to contact bittrex support, since you actually need to be able to create, sign and broadcast a transaction to fix this issue, and an exchange wallet won't allow you to do either of these things i'm afraid.

IF you get it fixed, please move to a decent desktop wallet... Much safer, and at least you can fix an issue if one ever pops up.

Yes i am sending it on to my another wallet.

Please tell me more about those 2 options.
2) if you're either the sender and there was a change address, or if you're the receiver, you can do a CPFP
3) if you were the sender, you can double spend the inputs of this unconfirmed transaction

How can i do CPFP or how can i double spend the inputs.

This depends 100% on your wallet software.
If you're using either electrum or bitcoin core, i can walk you trough the process if you want...

Hello

I have a transaction which is unconfirmed for 6 days.

ID: 9a2a0b1ba7949447acfba20829b1eda303828f172b1bbbf3c11101f9b7670b61
I send this transaction to this wallet : 1MicBGbqyyD3kjNhsXyrVqZfxYWvJG3Ugc

Please help and i will tip you.

I've pushed it to antpool, but chances of it getting confirmed this way are slim, as antpool is currently being abused... Since this transaction only has a fee of 55 sat/byte, you have only a few options:
1) wait it out, the transaction will either be confirmed sooner or later, if it isn't confirmed it'll probably get dropped and the unspent outputs can be re-used
2) if you're either the sender and there was a change address, or if you're the receiver, you can do a CPFP
3) if you were the sender, you can double spend the inputs of this unconfirmed transaction
4) you can pay a mining pool to include your tx in the blocks they're currently working at

Hi,

Because the transaction was only shown on chain.so's block explorer, i missed the fact that this transaction seems to have unconfirmed parents.
As a matter of fact, the person paying you created a long chain of unconfirmed transactions, each of those transactions is using the change of the previous unconfirmed transaction to create a new transaction.
None of the pending transactions have a decent fee... As a matter of fact, all of them are having a fee that's so low they won't get into a block without the receivers intervention.

Your options at this point are really, really, really limited...
1) open the transaction in chain.so, click on "raw data", save the "tx hex". Go back to chain.so's tx overview, click on the "<"-symbol next to the sending address, in the next screen ensure that the previous tx in the chain is unconfirmed and save it's tx hex, repeat untill you find a parent transaction that IS confirmed...
Now, you need to re-broadcast all transactions in the chain, starting with the parent, and working your way up the chain...
As soon as the complete chain is broadcasted, you can use the unconfirmed unspent output in a new transaction with a fee of at least:
(number of unconfirmed parent transactions) * 400 bytes * 380 satoshi's.
Chain.so blocked my ip due to to many requests, but i got to 12 unconfirmed parents before they blocked me... So whoever sent you these funds is going to cost you at VERY least 12 * 400 * 380 sat =~ 0.018 BTC =~ $340
IF there were even more parents, the cost will be even higher

The second option is:
2) contact the sender, tell him to fix his mistake, give him a deadline, expose him as a scammer if he refuses

Hi, I'm a newbie in need help of pushing this TX thru... I have already waited for 5 days, thanks to the lending platform company who paid so little in the tx fee.

I don't know why but I cant find the tx info from blockchain website but it can be found here instead :

https://chain.so/tx/BTC/253bb7e9a30d9158b36bb686d4ce2d75b009e8e7246b81fc583235942dbce04f

this is the senders wallet : 38ZQfki1wQAGGHp1mVrvaTSxAWf2dNuJcg

This is my wallet  : 19kkgcf3rCeWbWjFAmonvsiRbJSWQpDwHP

The amount that is still pending for me is 0.31025333 .

So I'm hoping u are able to use whatever that is necessary and without me losing too much on the BTC. Im more than happy to pay 100usd for your kind help & time.

the problem here is that this is a 373 byte transaction with a 2592 sat fee. That's only <7 sat/byte.
In order to "fix" your problem, you need to re-broadcast your raw transaction:

Code:
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

you can use google to find places to broadcast your transaction.

After the transaction has been broadcasted, i'd suggest you to create a CPFP transaction... That seems to be your safest bet, but first, you need to broadcast the transaction, so it's in the mempool of most nodes.

Unrelated:
Public service announcement:

Thank you for your reply. I will try your suggestions if I can, but I think I'm limited. This BTC was from OALEND Coin (which is an ICO) withdrawal, so I have no control over the sending of it. They do and they won't seem to help me. I don't know why they choose chain.so to process the transactions because apparently there are major delays. I had no say in the miner fee. I feel at a loss here and have reached out to macbook-air and hope he can help somehow.

I'm still new to understanding mining and such, but I know enough that this is a frustrating situation.
