I cannot understand why some people care about the effect of golden tickets on wagering volume that much.
Freebitco offers many bonuses. 1. Golden tickets, 2. weekly lottery tickets, 3. Daily jackpot, 4. monthly contest. It's really impossible to determine the effect of each of them on wagering volume.
There are many websites conducting contests and have thread on the forum. Visit their thread and ask them the money wagered due to their contest. Be sure none of them answer, because that's impossible.
If the money wagered due to golden tickets matters you very much I suggest you to check the number of weekly lottery tickets before existence of golden tickets and compare it with number of tickets during the past 6 months.

In my opinion freebitco has a large wagering volume whether there is a Lambo or not. I am sure there are very very few people wagering for Lambo.

I absolutely agree with you. I personally don't think that people were wagering for the sake of the Golden Tickets. I think they were just wagering, you know, as usual, and the tickets they were receiving along the way, were just a good bonus for them.

It is pretty likely that the user who won Lambo, got all his/her 185 tickets from wagering. (Can that be checked, btw?) I mean, one could wager 0.925 BTC, even not paying attention to how many tickets they got for that. And then, BOOM!, "I won a Lambo! OMG!!!"

Has the winner claimed his prize already? Was it Lambo or money?

I downloaded to check who was the person with the most tickets but it is just a notepad file and I am not a developer or coder or even understand from excel that much to get these exported into something else to relist all of them on ticket numbers. I have seen someone with 61k tickets (he was around at the top) but couldn't bother to check each and every single person by eye without using any sort of technology.

Do we at least know the top 3 peoples numbers? I mean to be honest this is just curiosity, nothing more and considering none of it matters since the winner had like 70 or something tickets, it is true that even 1 ticket had a chance to win in lottery and someone with hundreds of thousands of tickets could return back with absolutely nothing in their hands.

To be honest, knowing how many tickets users with top amounts of them had is of  mild interest to me. If those 61k tickets were bought that would be interesting because it would be 15 BTC worth of tickets. But, as far as I know, the vast majority of the Golden Ticket were acquired through wagering ( 1 ticket for 500,000 satoshi wagered), so it's impossible to tell how much did people really spend on those tickets.

It is true, since within the amount used to buy ticket includes those actually deposit to buy and those just saving up from free rolls to buy or saving up from referrals income, six months and those are patient enough might have saved enough to buy few tickets assuming they have no referrals at all. And since there is no way other than put a script on "BUY" button to track each time it's clicked, no one know how much of deposit just for buying them.

Not impossible,  he's already stated that they know how many were "bought".  Thus the left over tickets were all from wagering.  Then you can use the EV for that amount and you'll arrive at a fairly close estimate within 1-3%.

So you still can't answer my points and just ignore your bullshit being challenged?

Yet again you overlook something fundamental to arrive at another false conclusion. You are assuming that all wagering in the last 6 months was only done to earn Golden Tickets. The Lambo promotion was done in addition to everything else we already giveaway. It isn't possible to calculate how much extra wagering happened solely because of the promotion.

All your old deposit addresses are always valid so you can deposit to as many of them you wish to in a 24 hour period. That means we have to monitor ~40 million addresses. The restriction on creating new deposit addresses was introduced because some idiot programmed a bot to just sit there generating new addresses.

The site could allow the user to create a new address, if at least one deposit has been made to a previously created address. It'd better for your users privacy if they could send bitcoins to different addresses because they wouldn't have to combine UTXO from different sources.

Definitely, you wouldn't want people from around the world to start hunting you down if you win the lottery Smiley

There are thousands of people who own more than that, unless the winner lives in a crime-ridden country, he shouldn't have to worry over someone knowing he owns 20 bitcoins. (but there are reasons other than security to maintain privacy though)

Are we allowed to know what happened with the lambo round 1 winner?
Did he came forward by now, did he took the pink slip or bitcoins equivalent?
I'm sure he choose to remain anonymous, so pictures with the big-ass prop check are not an option but at least some info would be nice.

I can confirm they can't manipulate the lottery draw. The drawing method is quite good and provably fair as they claim.

They don't need the House ID to win the prize. You will know it if you do some math.
I ticket cost 25k satoshi and with that 25000*5,954,089 = 1488.52225000 BTC

I'm not saying they are making that much profit(Number could be lying) but they can afford a Lambo giveaway easily with those stats.

The number isn't lying but we only sold 7554 tickets the rest were given away for wagering.

7554*0.00025000 = 1.88850000 BTC

Is it fair to say that even if the rest of the tickets are funded from money that was given to people who wagered money, that the free money given to them, might have been withdrawn and not wagered, so it was a win-win situation for Freebitco.in, if that money was used to buy Lambo tickets?

The money given for the wagering was just coming back to the site for the draw.  Huh  I reckon it would be better if you offered multiple smaller prizes, but still something desirable to reduce the cost of the prize for the site. (Something like electric scooters or cheaper electric cars.)  Wink

What is the reasoning with not allowing to deposit to more than two addresses in a 24-hour period?

All your old deposit addresses are always valid so you can deposit to as many of them you wish to in a 24 hour period. That means we have to monitor ~40 million addresses. The restriction on creating new deposit addresses was introduced because some idiot programmed a bot to just sit there generating new addresses.

Also, couldn't the instant fees scale with the number of deposits, the way bustabit and bustadice handle it? Segwit support would be nice, too.

We prefer to keep fees as low as possible for everyone all the time. We do that by using the average of 3 fee estimators, batching transactions together and good wallet management (only keeping one output UTXO).

We support withdrawals to all Segwit addresses and use a Segwit wallet to pay withdrawals. Changing the deposit addresses to Segwit requires a major database reorganisation because the initial deposit address is used to index the accounts. To do that we would have to take the site offline for many hours to implement. Maybe if we have some other necessity to take the site down we could do it at the same time but we don't want to have an outage just for that.

Thanks. So, it's something similar when I have 500-600 tickets in their weekly lottery. It woud be interesting to know how many tickets biggest fishes of Freebitco.in had. @TheQuin, do you have this information?

You can download and analyse the ticket file to find that out.

Couldn't be achieved without support and love from you. Wow, it's amazing achievement, especially knowing how big online gambling industry is. Congrats! Who knows, maybe one day you'll become most popular online gambling website in the world.

Well, I can do it for you, mate. Smiley

(185 ÷ 5954090) x 100% = 0.003107108 %

The win chance of winning the lottery with 185 tickets was, roughly, 3 times smaller than that of winning with 9900x payout on a dice site.

WOW. I had no idea. I probably would have guessed it was one of the biggest userbase in all of crypto, but now that I see this, it just validates the claims.

Do you guys have a record of monthly unique visitors since you started? How's the growth been since all those years? And has there been a change in demography of players? More Asian players in recent years I guess.

Semrush is one of the most legit places on earth when it comes to digital agency helps. I have used it back when I was doing digital marketing (now went full crypto) and I was making a killing just thanks to using semrush on companies I worked with and helped them get the best out of their possibility. They literally help you efficiently make your website as better as it gets from big stuff to smallest stuff like having pictures reduced in weight.

So, they are not the kind of people who would make a false list or ranking to get a favor from anyone, they are really believing that freebitcoin is the third biggest one, sure the faucet part plays a big role in that but the gambling part must be one of the biggest in the whole world as well.

Not just the biggest crypto/bitcoin casino but the biggest 3rd casino among every other casino. That's quite an accomplishment.

Holy crap I actually downloaded the PDF and I see there isn't other crypto related gambling domain in the top 10.

I see bet365.com is at the top of the list and I am quite surprised there are 2 Turkish domains there too.

The title in the PDF however... said "Top 25 Companies" but they listed only the top 10, didn't like that part.
