Whether you increase or decrease your winning chance but for every bet, you pay 5% of your bet amount to the site that means your bankroll will become empty faster than playing on a 1% or lower than 5% house edge sites. So why do you want to choose high house edge site to gamble when you can find many trusted low house edge gambling sites play this game.

Is this faucet still worth playing? I see it constantly mentioned in threads asking about the best ways to earn some bitcoin on the side, but i'm entirely sold on the idea. Seems like the house edge on the "multiply btc" tab is too high...

What are your guys strats for profiting on the site?
Yes, the house edge on freebitco.in is relatively high if you compare it to other dice sites, so it would not be a good idea to play dice game on this site, it still remains as one of the best faucet site for new users to have a start in bitcoin as the admin always pay the faucet withdrawals without any issue.
Thats what freebitco.in took this reputation and been sustained for how many years which it doesnt really have any problems when it comes to withdrawals. Its indeed true that they do have the highest house edge on playing their hi-lo game which is actually on 5% which is more than on the HE on most gambling sites in the market. If you do play then expect on what would be the result.

It's true. They have a high edge, but you can change payout and your winning chance. Anyway, don't use martingale strategy if you are trying to multiply your winnings, you will lose everything eventually.

They are legit and offer interests on the balance we have on the website. Free roll still brings me 260 sat/h since I have extra bonus. It doesn't seem much, but it's still worth 0, 04$. And as bitcoin wasn't so expensive before, I claimed more than 1000 sat/hour a few months ago.

So now what, after all the lottery is now legit as the owners says, still no one from bitcointalk got the reward after lots of weekly draws?

Players from bitcointalk really unlucky if that is still the case. Smiley

That isn't the case. I know of at least two winners of the 1st prize in the lottery that have posted proof here. Maybe if you looked rather than ranted you would know that.

Your point being ... ?

My point being there is always a risk keeping your Bitcoins on any site but freebitco.in is one I trust much more than others.

What are your guys strats for profiting on the site?

I started using the site, when we still got above 800 Sat/h and I quickly accumulated a lot of referrals. At one stage, I did not even have to use the free roll option, because my referrals provided me with enough passive income. I never used any of the Satoshi that I received from the site, because it only created dust in my paper wallet.

One day, when a Satoshi is worth $1, I will sweep that wallet and go on a holiday.

My vision is focused on the future value, not on the current worth of the few Satoshi that are paid out now. ^smile^

As you already said that house edge is high so I never play their hi-low game but only getting some free coins to try my luck in a lottery system. Still waiting for my turn in a lottery.

Even on other lower house edge dice sites also I didn't win money so far but only profit got from cricket betting.

The first decentralized crypto betting platform
is there any official announcement for these recent bitcoin forks? I checked the previous 2 pages and I didn't see anyone talking about them.

these days it seems like there are going to be a lot of forks. at least 5 forks are scheduled for December starting with 15th of Dec! and it would be great if we  could get these coins for the balance that we keep on freebitco.in otherwise we would have to keep withdrawing before the snapshot is taken and deposit back.
and if I am not mistaken at least 1 snapshot was taken after bitcoin gold one. it was called "bitcoin Liza". all I know is that Yobit credited their users' accounts with the tokens which they are trading.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.22888636
Freebitco.in will support/allow withdrawal of forks , if they have a working wallet and blockchain.

In that link Myfe talks about two past forks but not about the upcoming ones. I think it is very likely that they are going to follow the same policy but until I see Myfe saying it or an announcement on their website I won’t be 100% sure.

I hope this is the case, because their policy about forks has made it easier for customers to do whatever they want, exchange of withdraw, just after the fork, whereas in some other faucets and casinos they just don’t give you any coins, or they only give you the option to withdraw them, and even some exchanges don’t give you the option or they implement the exchange option later on.

Freebitco.in always has one simple policy in place, as and when a fork is confirmed it shall put a notice on it's  site, and if a fork is successfully completed, it shall credit you with a certain amount as and when it's confirmed there is a working wallet. Freebitco.in will never give out any money, unless there is a wallet for the fork and that is working well. Normally all the news are posted on their site, I think you may have missed it.

Yes, you are (both) right. I had to re-read the link and, although he was talking about "Bitcoin Gold" and "Bitcoin Segwit 2x" forks (as well as the previous "Bitcoin Cash" one), at some point he states:

Hard Fork Policy Announcement
Quote from: FreeBitco.in HARD FORK POLICY
Bitcoin has 2 hard forks planned in the near future - "Bitcoin Gold" and "Bitcoin Segwit 2x". As we have done with the "Bitcoin Cash" hard fork in the past, we shall support withdrawals of all hard fork coins as long as they are viable - ie. have wallet support, a working blockchain and straightforward redemption policies.

Freeroll prize is now 14 satoshi. Will you divide satoshis into parts if bitcoin price continue growing? You have to also calculate referral comissions to freerolls and interests...

All is calculated upon bitcoin price for 200$, that determines the higher prize. The smaller prizes are then divided   by ten each time.
À simple calculation tells us that when (if) bitcoin price reaches 50k$, then the smallest reward will be 1 satoshi (worth 0, 002$).
I don't know however how it will be if price goes above 50k$, the automatic system will then reward with less than a satoshi?

Nicehash hacked !
Am just concerned about the security features in place for sites like freebitco.in
Overnight, all your BTC will be gone !!!

You are obviously very new to the scene. This is just another in a long line of hacks although there are a lot less frequent now than they were before. You have to make a judgment about both how trustworthy and competent the site owners are. Wetsuit would be right at the top of my list for both.

ADAMANT — the most secure and anonymous messenger
I see I got some interesting reading to do. Thanks for pointing that link out. But isn’t provably fair supposed to use an algorithm that “balances nature”?

No. Nature is in no way involved. In short, it uses encryption to hash 2 strings (seeds) into hexadecimal numbers. One on the server and one on the client. By telling us the hash of the server seed in advance and allowing to change our client seed we can prove that the number was truly random when the 2 numbers are combined.

I know you mentioned that it is all random but at times i ask my self arent odds still just percentages.  I remember 1 time i rolled 16,000 spins to get the bonus. I did not get it mot 1 single time. Now mathematically you would think i would get it atleast one time maybe two if really lucky.
