Am i reading it wrong ,did you just say that you could get 25 to 50 bitcoin per faucet claim, are you in dream land, the most any faucet gave out per claim was 5 bitcoin which was run by Gavin
That's true. My bad. It's been a while since I read about this faucet and for some reason 25-50 BTC have come into my mind. But the idea remains the same. 5 BTC or 50 BTC, it was nothing at the time and now it is.

with the price of bitcoin rising and the hypothetical future where the price could be,some would spend their time claiming faucets even at this time,it is their choice ,since i am not in any faucet site for years ,i am not sure how the transaction charges work, the site might be sending all the coins at once per day with a lower fees to tackle the transaction issue.
My point is: He could easily buy $10 worth of Bitcoin instead of spending time doing captchas for 34 satoshis an hour ($0.002).

Some of those faucets will send every payment at once, and others will pay you to a third party service, where you need to reach a minimum to withdraw. Still, not worth IMO, and you can't even spend those coins because they are considered "dust". I would rather ask for money on the street and buy Bitcoin with that (which would probably more than you earn with faucets).

Not sure how can you survive receiving 34 satoshis per hour anyways. You do realize that you will spend more with your elecricity bill than what you will earn with your rolls, right?

If I was you, I would look for a job ASAP to "survive" instead of trying to earn $0.002 per hour.

A proper reply of what you say in the next comment has been posted by The Quinn but in this comment, you are using a fallacy: we don’t get 34 satoshis per hour, we get them per 5 seconds, and we can use the other 59 minutes and 55 seconds to earn more money.

Most of us have already a job, apart from other sources of incomes and still take 5 seconds of our precious time to play the free roll game.

Never heard anyone actually win the jackpot on freebitco.in
Some people have shared their wins screenshot/proof in this thread(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850855.140), you can go through all the wins. Smiley
recent $200 win(https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.23247812).

someday i might win, i'll be happy to share any screenshot or proof here.

Yup, actually this is one of the first times I've ever seen that prize. One of the main reasons I've started to play again (just to discover that I suddenly have 13 referals more which I don't know lol) Cool

Does anybody win more than the smallest free btc amount? I play this game since 2 months with a friend, and we never got more then minimum. Also the lottery is very inscrutable.

I am a member of freebitco.in since 6 months and already won 8-10 times a higher price than the minimum (still waiting to win the top prize of 200$ lol). The lottery is pure luck, a couple of weeks ago a guy won with only 10 tickets.
You need to be very lucky if you want to win this lottery I am also trying for last one year and have no luck for winning prize on free rolls I have all just biggest never come to me as its also very hard to be won hope we will have lady of luck in near future as patience give dividend some time take long but surely its happen
Better invest your precious time elsewhere...

I prefer to spend 5 precious seconds of my precious time to play the free game an average of 10 times a day because I still have 23 hours 59 minutes and 10 precious seconds to spend in other activities.

I don’t know how many times you (@babygun) have played but you will get the highest free roll once every 10.000 times you play on average. So, if you have played less than 1.000 times it’s not surprising that you haven’t hit it yet.

I’ve played 2.000 times and I’ve got a third price once (numbers 9994 – 9997) two or three times a fourth price (9986 – 9993) and a few fifth prices (9886 – 9985). All results are within the average mathematical expectancy.

@ Don Pedro Dinero, just checked my stats and I have played 937 times, the highest amount I won was the fifth price (and that 8-10 times). And indeed it takes only 5 seconds to do a free roll, so why not do it.

Legit question. Really curious on why people still do that nowdays. In the past, we at least had a legit reason to do that, since you could "test" the Bitcoin protocol by earning 25~50 BTC per faucet claim (which was worth nothing at the time) and play with it. But now your "profits" won't even cover the transaction fee required to withdraw what you earned.

I was wondering about this too which faucet paid 25-50 BTC!

Yeah something like that, but not everyday. as long as one has 30k sat balance on freebitcoin, they can receive bitcoins without paying any fees, although to withdraw for free/without paying any tx fee, one has to wait for a week(it's sent every sunday).

I'm sat in front of a computer all day, I don't have to do a capture because I keep a big enough balance. That means it's no real effort to keep it open in a tab and whenever I notice the timer has run down it takes a second to click for another claim and there is always the slim chance of a bigger win.
You get one free withdrawal a week if you want to take out your entire balance or using a slow withdrawal the Tx fee can be as low as 400 sats, so that is easily covered.
I've been doing this since the site started and claims I made back then that were fractions of a cent at the time are now worth dollars. Most of that value is attributable to the rise in BTC price but I don't see any reason that the 34 sat click I just made now won't be work a few bucks in 4 or 5 years time.
In total with free rolls and 15 - 20 active referrals I picked up from my signature here, I have made just over 0.36BTC.
So that's why I do it.

It takes a few seconds to claim faucet every hour. And those 34 satoshi we collect today, around 0,002$, may be worth more in the future. With the hypothesis that one day minimum reward will be 1 satoshi, those 34 satoshi we collected today will worth 0,068$.
For the minimum reward to reach 1 satoshi, bitcoin  price needs to reach 200 k$. Impossible? I don't know. Not in the near future however.

"survive" means players and the site owner. Don't you think I "survive" by playing roll on freebitco?  Lips sealed
Why else would you spend your time doing captchas to earn less than a penny per hour if you have more than enought to survive?

Do I need a "legit reason" to play for fun in my free time, bro?  Huh It takes almost under 1 minute for claiming.

But you are right, maybe I don't play for the rest of my life, just playing for this recently because I have free time to play now  Grin
