First, Accumulate at least 2000 satoshi. EDIT: make that 2048 satoshi, so you would still make profit if you win after the 12th loss
Research game theories, betting theories like Martingale
It's harder than it sounds, but stick to your strategy with cool nerves.
Expect to zero your balance a few times before learning how to do the above 3
Shouldn't it be after the 10 losses. 1 +2 +4 +8 +16 +32 +64 +128 +256 +512 +1024 = 2047
the 11th bet of 1024 will be the last chance to win it all back.
If you play to retrieve the lost BTC, you will finish losing even more. The house edge is here to make you lose at the end. And with martingale strategy (or any other one as well), you will lose more after your nth loss in a row than you've earned after every 0 to n-1 losses streak before a win you had before.
not always true, in a provably fair game there's a chance to win more. don't get greedy and control your emotion
once I lost 0.01
BTC then deposited 0.013
BTC and after almost a month I did manage to get up to .058
BTC but because of greed I started initial bet higher and higher as my balance get higher
then one time I can't control my emotion and can't think straight, I kept hoping the next roll will be green
I ended up with (I think) 20+ reds losing streak and left me with 0.003
BTCand it didn't last long... 2 hrs later I busted (after claiming free hourly roll and playing multiply a bit)
I could've withdrew and secured my initial deposit (0.01+.013) and still have 0.035 to play with
again... greed... I was thinking higher balance can get me more winnings
happened numerous times again afterward when I play with accumulated faucet amount
and just now after a week started from 0 to ~18000 satoshi, then busted
again because of greed & emotion, I encountered bad streak but overcame it and lost only 500 sats
but I want to get that 500 sats back fast and stupidly raise initial bet and continue losing all ~17500, busted!
- Do not let yourself get greedy. It's better to play small amounts and be safe than to risk high amounts and be sorry. Patience!
- Even with the best technique and the coolest nerves, the game depends highly on luck and odds are against you. So if you consider yourself unlucky (like me) better not invest more
If you can't control your emotions than you shouldn't gamble at all.
In conclusion (In my opinion),
modified martingale "could" work but must be adapted to personal style and house roll patterns
basic unmodified martingale will get you straight to busted in no time
If you can't control your emotions and gamble... don't expect to win, do it for enjoyment,
accept the consequences... but if you actually win, think of it as bonus
