May I know which API did you implement for worldwide SMS sending ?

I get many requests to make altcoin faucets but the dogecoin faucet that we have has been operating at a loss for a while. Click through rates for ads on it are half of the bitcoin faucet, people don't gamble much and most withdraw immediately after each free roll. The loss isn't too much though so I plan to keep it running for as long as I can, but I have stopped actively promoting it and it has put me off from making any more altcoin faucets.

To verify your mobile, you only receive a sms message with a code that you need to enter on the website. As far as I know, no mobile provider charges users for incoming sms messages.

If you have someone else playing from the same IP, the best long term solution would be to verify your mobile.

IMO the best section for this thread should be "service announcement", we can also deposit bitcoin there and roll the dice, that's why mod didn't move this thread to "service announcement".

All HYIP/PONZI(scam) threads are posted in "Investor-based games" section, this faucet site is legit and not related to investors, I don't think it would be moved there.

I have used this site for a few months, it's a cool site, the best bitcoin faucet should be it.

As long as I know.."investor-based games" section is no the right place to faucet..most of faucet usually announced in "service announcement" section.

Since freebitcoin has a gambling feature and we can deposit on it..so it is already in the right place "gambling section"

Admin I have problem, after I solved the captcha then click the button to claim but the site loading infinite that's why I can't claim the free btc then I refreshed the page then solved captcha again then I saw that "Someone has already played from this IP address within the last 1 hour. CLICK HERE TO UNBLOCK YOUR IP ADDRESS BY VERIFYING YOUR MOBILE NUMBER!" Can you improve rolling of number because I think this problem twice happened in my account.. If I verify my mobile number, Is msg/data rate apply for that verification?? If not verifying my mobile number what happen in my account??

Oh wow, I didn't realize that they added this option. Just checked my account and you're right. I haven't really used faucets that much recently so I didn't notice it was there.

And yeah, it would probably be silly to gamble anything significant since the house edge is 5% vs. 1% for most other dice sites.


Freebitco.in has enormous brand awareness compared to other faucets so altcoin versions of it could be reasonably popular. Especially if the altcoin is a fairly popular one like Litecoin. According to this thread, almost 1/3rd of altcoin owners don't own any bitcoins at all. The number is also probably even higher for certain altcoins like Nxt which aim to supplant BTC.


The "Investor based games" section is intended for ponzi games. Most faucet announcements are posted in the Service Announcements board. This one has gambling features so I guess wetsuit thought it would be more appropriate here. Primedice also has a faucet and supports gambling but in PD's case, their importance is reversed.


The amounts involved from a faucet or a bunch of faucets might be worthwhile for someone who earns less than $1 a day (20% of the population apparently) but it's unlikely that these people would have Internet access. For those who earn more than this, it wouldn't really be worth it unless they were able to build up lots of referrals.

Yes its nice but honestly its not worth the hassle at all unless you want some satoshi to play around with. Maybe in some 3rd world country its worth going thru all that trouble for fractions of a penny.

That is the good thing about this site higher pay the lower the price of bitcoin, no faucets i have ever used for the last 1 plus year has ever been 'high paying' we have the short straw we would have got here 3-4 years ago we would have made enough to make it worth our time.

It takes to long to build up referrals to be able to build anything significant so i have never tried. Does anyone here use a rotator if so how much can you expect to make a day?

i cant say that its high paying faucet without referrals though its really reliable thats why i often use it

BTC price is low now, so each roll gives a nice payout. 
I used the multiply rolling, unfortunately it didn't multiply in the end but more like taken in half, or more like back to zero

I have added a mobile verification option for users who were having problems with free play due to their IP's being blocked or with multiple users on the same IP. Now, if you verify your mobile, you will no longer get IP blocked messages and will be able to play every hour regardless of other people playing from the same IP.

The option for verifying your mobile will be shown when you get these error messages and is also available in the PROFILE page.

This faucet is good for accumulating satoshi during the bear market.

I strongly concur. Bitcoin is digital gold to be hoarded, doges are digital silver to be used in everyday transactions (litecoins ultimately aimed for this, but seem to have failed)...
