Even without Mbappe in the squad, PSG is consistently playing well. PSG is very strong in Ligue 1 this season. And this is possible because of Luis Enrique's mastermind. We have seen in the previous season that Luis Enrique has done various experiments with his squad. Even though Mbappe is fit, he has rested Mbappe. And given opportunities to young players. And this season, PSG's young players are able to perform well. That is why the top spot of the Ligue 1 table is still in the hands of PSG.

However, in the Champions League, we cannot see a better performance than PSG. So far, PSG has won only one match. The possibility of PSG winning against Bayern Munich in the next match is very low.



I thought that Monaco would compete with PSG for the title this season. But Monaco has dropped points in three of the last four matches. And at the moment, Monaco is 6 points behind PSG. It will not be possible for Monaco to regain the top spot of the table.

PSG remains the dominant force in Ligue 1 despite the nothing or presence of Mbappe in their squad so far, previously we thought that losing Mbappe would has a very significant impact on their performance, especially the front line, but what we see now has no impact at all on the sharpness of their attacking line, in my opinion the lack of competition in the league and also the difference in the quality of players with other teams so far has been a supportive factor their dominance and that's why they can still be very strong in the league even without star players like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe in their squad.

Monaco and Marseille, are the two teams that are considered to be able to compete with PSG this season after a huge increase in their squad, but in fact they are still not able to conquer PSG at the moment despite trying to provide stiff competition at the beginning of the season.

There is no doubt that PSG does have enough money to recruit the players they want and that is what makes it easy for them to continue to dominate League 1. But even though they can recruit good players they can only perform well in their own league while the Champions League PSG always struggles so I think there is nothing special about PSG other than winning League 1. This season alone PSG looks very struggling in the UCL and has only won 1 of the 4 matches they have played but this is not surprising to me.

If we talk about the feasibility I think Ligue 1 is still a decent place for some investors who are trying to invest in stocks with a fair price. I mean English Premier League is certainly more popular than Ligue 1 but to acquire shares of an EPL team I think it is much more expensive compared to a team from Ligue 1. If Investors want guaranteed profits I think EPL is better. But if Investors are trying to develop Ligue 1 to be better, or at least trying to invest in the beginning before Ligue 1 becomes more popular, I think Ligue1 is better.

Honestly what makes Ligue 1 a bit boring is because of PSG's dominance that has no competitors that can challenge them. PSG also has much better finances than other teams in Ligue 1. This makes things unfair. I think if there were some other investors who tried to acquire and give money to other clubs like Marseille, Lyon or Monaco then PSG would have a rival that would make Ligue 1 interesting to watch.

PSG have started to get used to the absence of Mbappe in the team who moved to Real Madrid even though overall his loss has made the front line a little affected. In Ligue 1 PSG is still the strongest team that is very difficult to beat by any team and we can see how PSG's dominance is still quite strong until now. Monaco tries to do their best to compete but to what extent they are able to survive and remain consistent until the end of the season.

If they want to compete with PSG, then Monaco or other clubs must have the same quality of players as PSG because otherwise it will be difficult for any team to compete for the title because PSG will definitely be the favorite.

Having to constantly finish as a runner-up in multiple seasons despite facing such financial crisis is a clear testament of how not much bad the team is but are just been  hooked in a financial disadvantageous position. Perhaps with some huge investors taking over they are going to be in a better fated position to winning the league's title than settling as runner-up. Consequently, if we're to use the instance of Manchester City that's now dominating the EPL currently, previously they never had to finish in the top four how much more as runner-up not until Arab investors took over the club and now see where they are in the EPL. So the case of Lyon is predominantly that of finance and not that the club is a weak one who can't compete for trophies even if taken over by bigger investors.

The popularity the likes of the English Premier League and the Spanish La Liga enjoys today is as a result of the magnitude of investors that are with shares in those league's clubs and provided the French leagu1 clubs could enjoy such influx of investors popularity isn't something that's gonna be hard to come by beca already the league has an already existing market hence expansion is what would be next on. Maybe if you're abreast with the unsuccessful mediapro deal you would have understood why the league1 clubs are struggling up with these financial issues which has really affected their popularity amongst Europe football leagues.

PSG have a lot of money and they have spent a lot of money on football but despite spending so much money they are yet to win the European crown of endeavors. Achieving Europe's crowning glory means winning the Champions League trophy. Some of the ill-conceived transfers that were costly and damaging for PSG. But now this team is not spending extra money anywhere. PSG is only spending money on players who can provide good service for the team if they buy them. If PSG spend as planned and build a good squad next season, I believe they can compete well in the Champions League again. As they did earlier though that season they were beaten by Bayern Munich. Despite the absence of significant transfers this season, the team is still at the top of the points table and PSG are expected to be champions of the local league again.

Mbappe was an important player for League 1, but we see that he can also fill the gap. In the French League, other teams than Paris Saint-Germain should strive more for the championship because Paris Saint-Germain has very talented and experienced people both as a squad and as a coach. If you are going to beat such a squad, you also need to have a squad consisting of very good players. For now, Monaco and Marseille are still in the race, but I think Marseille will be out of the race in the future.

Lyon is team that is doubtful and in the last 10 season its biggest achievement was runner-up, that happened in the 2014/15 and 2015/16 season because after that they became an unstable team that experienced lot of setbacks until now and of course this will be the answer why they are not like other team that are of interest to big investors.
On the other hand, Ligue 1 is not as popular as La Liga or the Premier League so there is no privilege or long-term benefit when investors acquire shares in team like Lyon, indeed there will always be opportunities but we also have to see first how the team is worthy of getting it or not and there are more team in La Liga and the Premier League that will be more attractive to investors.

But even so, in the end, the competition continues and for Ligue 1, it is not the top position that is always interesting because it is always certain to be obtained by PSG, but the competition in the Champions League and Europa League zones is always a good condition to wait for.

Talking about champions, everyone must know that the financial differences, player conditions and various advantages that PSG currently has always made them the frontrunners in the fight for trophies and no one can overcome or even compete with that. But for the competition and some surprise clubs that are always there every season in the fight for the Champions League or Europa League zone, it is still an interesting treat to wait for.

In the last 2 seasons, we have always been able to witness some unexpected surprise clubs that could achieve success like Lens or even last season Brest, so actually the main focus of Ligue 1 that is interesting is the fight for positions 2-5, not the top position that is always certain to be obtained by 1 club.

I think football is unpredictable and there is a possibility of any team to lose games at any given time but in the case of PSG losing two games for Monaco to stay ahead of them, it is very possible but then I think I see more possibilities in the reverse where Monaco will drop more points by losing more than two matches for PSG to extend their lead in the league.

The French Ligue1 is not like the English Premier League competition which is one of the toughest league in my opinion so I believe PSG is the team with the strongest squad and their dominance in the team is second to none at such they will only be prepared for a better transfer market in January instead of losing the league title they are sure of this season. Manchester City may be unable to get back the league title this season because of the losses they experienced in the last few games before the international break but then we should not trust Liverpool and Arsenal because they are always weak when they get to the middle of the season.

It is true, PSG until now still seems to dominate Ligue 1, it is very difficult for other contestants to break their dominance. We realize that all of PSG strength comes from abundant finances, which cannot be matched by the other 17 Ligue 1 contestants, thus creating a large gap. AS Monaco and Marseille are trying to put pressure this season, the two teams seem quite serious, but they need a miracle to be able to take the trophy from PSG. Of course Marseille or AS Monaco have a chance to win the trophy, but that only happens if Luis Enrique squad plays badly in many matches. Without Mbappe, PSG are still too strong in the Ligue 1.

While they do look different, in theory they have the same problem, and their solution is at the same place as well. Lyon may not be great transfer target without a doubt, but they do have some income, and they do have a youth squad. So instead of spending 110+ million extra on transfers, they need to realize that's not okay with financial fair play rules and they would be relegated if they do that and they need to know that before they do it. They did it anyways, and now they are in trouble.

The way to save themselves is same as Barcelona, sell your future income rights, sell some extra stuff for sponsorships, and get some young players from youth setup to play for a few seasons and hope a few of them are good. That way, they can get rid of expensive players they have, make 50-100 million in profit there, replace with young players, and use the income from other stuff as good income. Same method, just lower numbers, so I think it is not that dissimilar.

Monaco much earlier this season has tried to look like they were going to be a good competition to the top teams in the ligue 1 this but in recent times, their consistency qhs been poor and I doubt if they can be able to beat brest comfortably, even brest lacks that consistency but playing against better teams they try to bring out all of their best and for sure they can give a Serious resistance to Monaco in this game hence it's an opportunity for PSG to widen the gap.

Monaco improved last season, this season they are still showing performance that can be said to be on the right track. IMO, Adolt Hutter is a coach who can be said to have many strategies. It is proven, he still brings consistency last season and this season. Although they are still struggling to compete with PSG, Adolt Hutter is still able to bring Monaco to the top four of Ligue 1. In the Marseille camp, this season is a turning point for them from their slump last season. This season, Marseille can at least compete with its competitors even though it is difficult to become a team that occupies the top of the standings. What is certain is that Manaco and Marseille are handled by the right coach. Unfortunately, because they are not like PSG who have healthy finances, these two teams are only able to bring in players according to their budget. That is why, it is quite difficult to break the dominance of Paris Saint-Germain. But if these two teams remain consistent, at least until this season, in the coming season they can bring in players who are needed. For example, if for now the probability of Marseille is not too high to shift PSG.  However, in the next season, De Zerbi may be able to bring in quality players at affordable prices. I am sure De Zerbi knows the shortcomings of his team, especially pure strikers who are able to score goals consistently. As for Manaco, this team is quite strong but unfortunately not all of the players they have are ideal players in every line. So, if PSG still dominates the French League, it is something natural with the privileges the club has.

The Ligue One is known to be one of the famous farmer's league in France, who else competing for the league title if not PSG? Paris Saint-Germain stats, 9W 2D 0L this season and good reputation set by the club. The unbeaten run this season and it's consider to be one of the best form of the club. The manager of PSG, Luis Enrique doing a good job from his end, atleast he's showing good evidence this season, aiming for the big winning and definitely thrashing his oppositions. PSG have rivals this season, they wouldn't be settling for any sign or weakness because staying strong becomes a routine for them and any slight setback coming from them, there's repercussions.

For me personally, PSG can still be defeated by any team in Ligue 1 but unfortunately, no team until now can and has the ability to compete strongly in the fight for the trophy. Therefore, although PSG is certainly still possible to be defeated in only a few matches, but other teams also get more or more frequent defeats. Thus, it is difficult for other teams to get  the Ligue 1 trophy and break the series of consecutive trophies that PSG has.

So, I think, if other teams already have good finances or have become rich teams, then it could be a better effort to compete with PSG in the fight for the trophy. Although indeed, I also think that to achieve success is not only having good finances. But, by having good performance and being able to be consistent can also be the best effort to get a trophy,  at least Bayer Leverkusen is one example of a team's success last season without defeat in the domestic league even though it is not a rich team.

You are right, the PSG owners are spending huge sums of money to make sure they have standard squad above any other team in the League1, they are always willing to sign any available player that can help the team, and they also ready for any positive changes that will promote the team which is why the owners brought Messi, Ramos, Neymar, and other world class players in the past just to win the Champions League, but since the team failed, he let them leave and keep managing the young talented players in the squad.

PSG’s performance since the departure of Mbappe has reduced, but the team still maintain its stand in the League by staying above any other team in the League, even though they are finding it difficult to win some matches.

PSG will need to add more players to their squad next season because the League1 has taking a direction of becoming one of the toughest Leagues because most of the teams are putting effort to make the Peague well competitive; if other teams keep making such great effort, in the next two seasons, PSG will have to play very hard to win the League1.

Because the economic power that Paris Saint-Germain has is not available in any other team. They have the power to bring in the players they want. They are still in a very good position despite having sent a player like Mbappé away from the team without earning a transfer fee. They managed to fill his void. Although they could not show the performance they wanted in the Champions League, they are still unbeatable in the league. Of course, the Manchester City example is appropriate. Manchester City has lost four of its last four matches. If a similar picture occurs for Paris Saint-Germain, we can also talk about the possibility of losing the league.

You are right. There is no such thing as a definite result in football. Although Paris Saint-Germain seems like a very good team on paper, they may lose the top spot after a few consecutive defeats. Monaco was already at the top until a few weeks ago. Why shouldn't this happen again? Yes, everyone thinks Paris Saint-Germain will be champions, but there was a year in which they lost the championship in the past. Moreover, Mbappé was in the squad at that time. That's how I think I remember it. Therefore, instead of saying that Paris Saint-Germain will definitely win, it would be more accurate to say that there will be a competition between these three teams.
