In French Soccer League Yesterday match between two teams PSG vs Lyon, PSG team had a great performance. PSG team won the match by scoring 4 goals. Lyon team scored 1 goal after which Lyon team did not score any more goals. PSG team is at the first position of the points table for which  I supported the PSG team in this match. Lyon's E. Nuamah scored 1 goal in 37 minutes but failed to score after many attempts.

Monaco managed to steal 3 points from Brest and this result made Monaco succeed in shifting Brest to second place in the standings. Even though previously Brest was the favorite to win, especially since they were the hosts, even as the visiting team, Monaco were not afraid in the slightest and they still tried to take points. If you look at the statistics, it's actually not much different and maybe Brest's only advantage is their ball possession.

Monaco's goal was opened towards the end of the first half through Zakaria and also the second goal was scored at the start of the second half through Minamino. Even though this match was quite fierce, Monaco losing two players due to red cards in the last minute will not change the result they got in this match. PSG chances of winning the Champions League trophy are quite difficult, where Madrid and Bayern are currently the favorites. However, to reach the final, I think PSG will be able to make it happen. It took great luck for PSG to win the most prestigious trophy in Europe, and it wasn't enough to rely on Mbappe alone. But what is clear is that Enrique must be able to maximize Mbappe potential before the player leaves next season.

It probably does not mean anything to PSG to actually be able to win the Ligue 1 title. I honestly think that they do not even care about it at this point. The only thing they care about is winning the Champions League title and probably also keeping Mbappé in the team. The second option is not happening. Probably will try to win the Champions League with Mbappé. But I have a lot of doubts about that.

I understand that they are taking the most optimal decisions to actually win the Champions League competition. But I do not think they will actually be able to win the Champions League title. They are going to face Real Madrid in the Champions League. And a final between PSG and Real Madrid is obviously going to be a win for Real Madrid if I have to predict.

I am not at all surprised by PSG's different victory even though the score itself is also quite striking, because the strength of the PSG team is still not matched by other teams in League 1 this season. So it is still quite natural that PSG can win with that many scores at home against Lyon and for Lyon's hopes of being in the top six of the League this season, of course Lyon must be able to win in the remaining matches they will face this season while hoping that Rennes and Lens could lose in the next matches.

I believe that the PSG coach will not put Mbappe and Dembélé to play in the next 2 games, to avoid injuries, since they will be games against very weak teams and because after these two games PSG will play against Dortmund in a game of European champions league. As PSG's biggest objective is to win the European Champions League, then it makes perfect sense for the PSG coach to rest all the best players for the next 2 games. In any case, I see PSG being champions in the next 2 games

I think Brest still have a fair chance here because Monaco and Lille will face each other that certainly will give advantage to Brest. If Monaco win against Lille, Brest will stay third, but if Lille win, Brest will be fourth with two points gap. This situation will still give hope for all three teams. It depends on who have the strongest consistency till the end of the season.

It's still quite difficult to predict who will stay in Champions League zone, because anything can still happen. Looking at the remaining opponents for the three teams, I think Brest have the bigger hope, because they will play against teams that dont have any thing to fight for any more, While Monaco and Lille will play against teams those are fighting for staying in Ligue 1.

I don't think it's possible for PSG to lose consecutively. This season, no team has tried to rise to the first place in the rankings with such surprise exits from other big clubs. PSG beat Lyon with a different result. It was obvious that Lyon could not escape in this match. Olympique Lyon wants to be among the top six in the rankings. With only a few weeks left, they should collect good points after the loss after this match.
