It wasn't really a shocking result to see PSG end up getting a win, I mean we are talking about a team that is much better and odds showed that too. When a team is given 1.30 odds, there must be a reason for it, and PSG showed why that was the case. I mean it's clear that we are getting a better result and we need to focus on how to get better results as well. I can see why Lyon was considered as a "maybe" because they are fifth, and if they won they would be fourth, so they are a top level team and not some relegation team, even though they are having some financial issues and a potential to drop, we need to remember that we can't make that much changes.

This is why I believe that we are going to end up with a lot of issues on this regard and need to be careful about it as well. Without anything major on this part, we can't really consider this to be a big deal, and because of that I can't really see this making a big difference for the club neither.

The draw Paris Saint-Germain got last week can be considered an exception. They were on the field with their best performance against Olympique Lyon this week and in fact many people thought they could win this match. Having doubts about PSG because they had a goalless draw against Auxere wasn't actually necessary, as a football fan we should have known by this time that a team cannot always win all of their games and even if they are trying to stay unbeaten throughout a season they still do not get to practically win all of their games and sit doesn't mean that they are any less or loosing a particular game is an absolute determinant to the results of the preceding game so I was actually expecting this kind of win from PSG against Lyon.

It is true what you said the club will not win all the matches in a full season, it's just that I'm a little surprised why PSG can play well against Lyon but play badly against a promoted club like Auxere even though if you look at their strengths, PSG has everything they need and at least PSG can win by a narrow score and what's even more surprising is that bookies give very low odds on PSG which means PSG's chances of winning are very high but in reality they only get a draw and surely many lose their bets at that time because this is not the first or second time something like this has happened, especially in domestic matches.

The match between these two was very unusual because PSG has a very strong record and they are a good performing team but still they could not win the match against the opposition team and in the next match PSG performed very well demonstrated. The lack of a single goal means that there was pressure from the opposing team due to which the PSG players could not score and the match ended in a draw. I saw this match where PSG played really well but regretted the draw at Auxerre because they could have won the match there but didn't. But PSG will win their next matches and go up they can also improve themselves and bring PSG down, but they weaken later and play with a bad record. The performance of PSG in their previous match were they played a barren draw shows a lot of weakness in the team and how poorly they started off the game against Auxere I believe part of the reasons for that outcome was because of the team they played against but looking at the difference energy in the team against Lyon shows a lot of changes and tactical experience that the managed introduced in the game.

PSG performance was better than Lyon they dominated the game and made sure they got 2goals in the first half, they dominated the game and finally won 3:1 in the game.

I think it was a nice try to go for double chance on Lyon though. If Lyon were able to play the same way in the second half then they might have scored the equalizer. It is really not easy to compete hard against PSG most of the time. The draw streak ended really quickly...

I agree, Marseille and Monaco getting what they deserve with that PSG win, they had to keep on winning to be better and in the end they didn't because they played terribly and PSG showed them how fragile the race was and just went ahead a lot more. That's what PSG does, gives hope to other teams, doesn't dominate and win the league by 20+ points, they end up getting quite close and then they just take off and win.

No other team could keep up the pace and eventually lose and that causes them to have worse results as well. I have to say things aren't always that simple and we need to realize that sometimes things aren't really that simple neither ,we need to realize that PSG spends so much more, so it's normal for them to win.
