Monaco team is in a great spot to advance in the standings, they will have a home game against strasburg one of the relegation contenders it probably won't be easy but they will likely win, and if lens team lose in their game against Renne they will be able to take their spot and became third in the standings.

As strong as PSG's squad is, better performances were expected from them. They cannot play well in Ligue 1. Maybe they will win the Ligue 1 title, but I am not satisfied with their performance. A better performance was expected from such a strong and star-studded squad. PSG's performance in the Champions League was very disappointing. They lost badly against Bayern Munich. As PSG's performance is not improving after spending huge sums on star players. So now PSG management should look for an experienced coach. If the coach is experienced, maybe their performance will be somewhat stable.
It is acceptable if they have a bit difficult in Ligue 1 but go far in Champions League. However reality is they failed in Champions League at the first knock-out phase, round of 16 so any excuse for their not good enough performance in Ligue 1 does not mean anything. It's unacceptable for their fans to exit Champions League at round of 16 and see their star players turn to be meeky sheeps in Champions League.In the last two seasons, PSG did not repeat their successful season when they went to Champions League final and failed under hands of Bayern Munich. Three seasons later, they failed against Bayern but at round of 16. No revenge after all for PSG after 3 years.
PSG is not going to be performing well in the Champions League. At least as long as they are not going to make a balanced team, they are not getting any huge achievements. I believe that this season there is going to be a big change in the PSG squad. At least two of the strikers that they have, Messi and Mbappe are actually going to leave the club, and I don't think Neymar is also going to stay around for long. I am very interested to see how the squad is going to be built. This was of course a very big loss project for PSG.

Balogun has so far performed quite impressively in the French league and he has even been able to compete with Mbappe in the top scorer list while league 1, although he has appeared quite impressive so far it seems that Arsenal are not interested enough in returning him to the Emirates stadium and of course they have their reason, in my opinion he will again extend his contract with Arsenal for a few more seasons even though he will be loaned again to another club later, Balogun is a talented player that Arsenal will continue to maintain so that when he is truly ready and able to play in the premier league then it is likely that Arsenal will try to include him to their line up later but for now I don't think arsenal is ready to gamble by pulling balugon back into their main squad.
How about next season? I think Arsenal should get good players on the bench instead of just relying on the players currently available. Consider that Jesus has again had to deal with injuries while other strikers are struggling with form, so Folarin Balogun should be able to count on there.But maybe it will be different because the Premier League has never been the same as Ligue 1. Alexandre Lacazette, who last season only scored 4 goals in 30 Premier League matches with Arsenal, has impressed this season by scoring 17 goals in 25 appearances for Lyon. Different performances in different competitions are possible, so even if Folarin Balogun could join Arsenal next season his form is still in doubt, especially regarding goal productivity.

Balogun may not come back again to the arsenal. he is potentially coming back again to the reims. Arsenal has several strikers right now. It's hard for balogun to compete with gabriel, trossard and nketiah. he will always be on the bench if he will be back to arsenal.

If he has proven himself in Ligue 1 with a club like Stade Reims, he will have even better players around him to assist and serve him when he plays for Arsenal in the Premier League. It could both make sense and he hasn't much more to prove as of now.
Mbappe is a sad story. The guy should have at least 30 goals and more by the end of the season. They have 38 games and it isn't even sure whether he is going to be the best goal scorer in Ligue 1. How is that even possible?

Rennes - Lens is another game on next week to be played. It is an important game for both of these teams for qualifying for tournaments in Europe.
Rennes have a chance for even the Europa League now. The gap with Monaco is only four points which can be closed in the remaining time period of the season. Lens on the other hand are trying to qualify for the Champions League. They can even make it to the group stage if they manage to take the second position. However Marseille are a really challenging team to beat them about this. Lens beat them in their latest head-to-head game though. But I still don't think Rennes will lose. They newly beat PSG away shockingly so they should be motivated to win here as well.
After beating PSG very well, of course that should motivated Rennes squad to get points against Lens, although on a head to head record Lens is better rather than Rennes but later they will favored because they are playing at home. Also Lens when playing away they are not too good, so far in 14 matches they have only been able to get 4 wins 8 draws and 2 lost. And my guess for this match will end with a draw results, because I think Lens also don't want to lose points for stay close with Marseille.Rennes have a chance for even the Europa League now. Maybe there is a point if Lens have to secure at least 1 point in this match because they are targeting to keep close to Marseille in the standings. But if Lens can get the full 3 points then it's actually very good they will shift Marseille's position. But what is clear is that Rennes is not an easy opponent to beat, they have a very good record in the last 5 Ligue 1 matches by winning 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Of course Lens will have a lot of trouble trying to steal points from the hosts, I also think with you that this match will likely end in a 1-1 draw.

PSG's performances have been poor in recent times. I'd also like to blame PSG's multiple coaching changes in this issue, among with some others. Different managers of the team have come up with their own strategies and tactics in such changes. This has resulted in a lack of consistency in the team's style of play and overall approach to play. As a result there may be some lack of coordination within the team. But I think the team has strong foundations and potential to bounce back in the future.
I would guess that Pochettino being there for so long must have helped a bit, but Galtier is new that is for sure. They really need a big name manager, otherwise this won't happen. No manager they got had any huge names, they had some names but never huge names and I believe that they really need to have some sort of huuuuuge name on manager.I suggested Zidane, but I can see any other person, Tuchel is a missed chance for example, or they could go crazy and offer Pep Guardiola a huge amount and steal him from City. These are all great ideas, they just need a huge name there, that's a must and without that they are not going to be fine nor will win the UCL ever.

Psg do not even have to put all their efforts into the Ligue 1 to win it, the other teams that can challenge them for the Ligue 1 title are very inconsistent, teams like Marseille, Lens and Monaco. Psg have been in poor form many times this season and if these teams were consistent, they should have taken the number 1 position from psg, but whenever the chance comes, they also start losing games. Psg are leading with 7 points right now and i am sure the advantage will get bigger, if the other big clubs in the Ligue 1 want to take the title from psg in any season, they have to be consistent.
U are right. This is one of the reasons I present to people as per why PSG don't do well in some competitions outside French league. The confidence PSG has while playing in their local league isn't buoyant enough to keep them in competitions like champions league. PSG has been very poor this season but yet, no other team in the French league was able to overthrough them from the top position in the French league standing. This alone shows how weak the league is.
The negative effect that is felt by PSG is that it always has difficulty competing in other competitions, the proof is that PSG has not been able to bring home the Champions League trophy even though they have wanted to win it for a long time.
The quality of players and money clearly differentiate in this case, so it is indeed difficult to balance the two competitions which are quite big in Europe now.
On the other hand, but indeed if you want good conditions in terms of competition, there must be some improvement from clubs other than PSG because this really determines quality too.
If PSG suffers consecutive defeats and then PSG's position is still very likely to be taken over, because a gap of seven points is not a safe gap for PSG. Therefore, PSG still has to be able to get victory after win for the next matches.
Because even though the team that is below PSG's position in the Ligue 1 standings is not very consistent, but if PSG continues to get worse, then the team under PSG certainly has the ability to take advantage of this situation. So yes, after all, PSG is basically not strong enough either in the local league or even more so in the Champions League.

It's over for Marseille, I would say, and Ounahi getting his injury with Morocco makes their chances even slimmer. Sanchez wants to stay so hope they maintain another attempt next season! Lens as we mostly expected no longer will fantasise about anything but I admit I'm still surprised they hang on to 3rd spot for this long.
That will not be a problem for marseille if ounahi gets injured. There was still malinovskyi that can still play even though he has got one yellow card. It's a bit risky to allow him to play caused by he can get a red card anytime. Motpellier can be a stumbling block when looking at it in terms of performance, it's just that in the match at the beginning of April I still believe in Marseille who still have a good record and moreover their players are quite complex even though there are certain players who will not be able to play due to injury.

Rennes odds is very bit different with lens maybe because they play at home, and as you has mentioned, there is no doubt to bet in draw because of the record, but I just give 1 more attention if Rennes also have lost when meets Lille at their home, Which I think the possible loss for the host has a big chance also if careless on defense like ago.Actually Rennes have a good record when playing at their own headquarters. in 14 matches played at home, they recorded 11 wins although three matches lost. LOSC is indeed superior to Lorient. they have a more productive forward line than Lorient. especially when they will be playing at home. but Lorient can also surprise. Are you sure about Lorient? I think the probability of a home win is much better to consider.So far Lille is playing very well at home with only 2 defeats and 4 draws. Whereas Lille has won 8 of its home matches in the last 14 matches, so in my opinion Lille looks more convincing to win the match than Lorient.
