As strong as PSG's squad is, better performances were expected from them. They cannot play well in Ligue 1. Maybe they will win the Ligue 1 title, but I am not satisfied with their performance. A better performance was expected from such a strong and star-studded squad. PSG's performance in the Champions League was very disappointing. They lost badly against Bayern Munich. As PSG's performance is not improving after spending huge sums on star players. So now PSG management should look for an experienced coach. If the coach is experienced, maybe their performance will be somewhat stable.

PSG is still experiencing an unfortunate fate in the Champions League because Ligue 1 is not as competitive as the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A. PSG can win easily in local competitions because their quality is above average, while in the Champions League they always find it difficult when dealing with teams who have equal strength with them.
Even though they have strengthened the team with a number of star players, PSG is still unable to provide competition in the Champions League. The failure experienced by PSG in the Champions League was due to the lack of great competition in Ligue 1.

You have said it already that lenz has a better H2H record than Rennes. Couple with that, taking instances from other matches may also help to anyone such matches. Rennes may be able to defeat PSG but get humiliated by lenz just like it happens to Manchester united and Liverpool.
Lenz now will not afford to lose in a match like this judging from their closeness with Masseille. I know the book makers will pay little attention to Rennes current form but I won't give attention to those odds as I know Lenz seems much better to win this match.

Rennes odds is very bit different with lens maybe because they play at home, and as you has mentioned, there is no doubt to bet in draw because of the record, but I just give 1 more attention if Rennes also have lost when meets Lille at their home, Which I think the possible loss for the host has a big chance also if careless on defense like ago.

Maybe there is a point if Lens have to secure at least 1 point in this match because they are targeting to keep close to Marseille in the standings. But if Lens can get the full 3 points then it's actually very good they will shift Marseille's position. But what is clear is that Rennes is not an easy opponent to beat, they have a very good record in the last 5 Ligue 1 matches by winning 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. Of course Lens will have a lot of trouble trying to steal points from the hosts, I also think with you that this match will likely end in a 1-1 draw.

I think maybe PSG underestimated Rennes too much so when they surprised PSG with 2 goals it made PSG even more frustrated playing so they couldn't make a comeback. yesterday's defeat was a mistake that might be corrected for the next match considering that PSG, who did not qualify in the UCL, should be able to focus more on Ligue 1 and pursue the Ligue 1 championship this season.

PSG still remains the best club in the France league. They have dominated the league for a very long time and till today their height of achievement remains the same even with the arrival of the three duo.
If u ask me I will say PSG has remain the same cuz they have not reached the height which they desire before going to spend that much in getting the three world class players. Their dominance is only in the local league level and this shows how weak the league is.

The problem is that they think they are that way and they get stuck in the end. Last week should have been a real lesson when they were the favorites but failed to capitalize on that. Indeed, their favorites are clearly at the top of the list considering that there are no other clubs that compare to them, but on the other hand, this condition makes them arrogant and can backfire in the end.

Dreams are just dreams because I'm still not sure whether it's from the start of this season or even next season because PSG's condition is still the same even though it's filled with lots of players who have big names but they don't have the criteria to win the Champions League. 2 This season even looks bad because they always get knocked out in the round of 16 which makes their big players look like nothing in the Champions League.
