Can this be a chance for Marseille to catch up with PSG again? I don't think so honestly. Because PSG are still a huge favourite for the title as long as they have a squad like this. I must say especially Messi, Mbappe and Neymar of course. I don't think PSG would maintain a bad form for a long time either. Because they have already been eliminated in the Champions League.

The Ligue 1 is their only focus now. They can't play very complacent from now on if they don't wany any surprise to happen later on. Marseille would do their best at least for securing their current position. It is important to finish in top 2 to join the CL groups directly.
I think Marseille just needs to maintain motivation and performance if they want to catch PSG at the top of the table. To be honest, I'm not worried about PSG even though they lost against Rennes in their last match. PSG are the favorites to win, besides that they also still lead the standings with a 7 point advantage, so I'm not too worried.

Messi and Mbappe failed to win their last match, both had the chance to score but failed. But actually they were just unlucky because PSG's defense in that match was really problematic. They lost a lot of players through injury, but for the next match I think they will correct that mistake. Back to winning ways and that is the hope.

Actually when it comes to bringing in big players I don't really have a problem with that because for sure it will have both positive and negative impacts. But on the other hand, when they bring in really good and expensive players, they are not accompanied by a quality coach.
The conditions remain the same as before when they sacked Pochetino but were replaced with Galtier when in fact it was clear that it would be the same because their quality is not much different.
There needs to be special consideration because when a good player is not compared to a good coach then indeed the results will still be the same as now.
They should have hired Zidane no matter how much he costs and I talked about this a million times. Doesn't matter what happens next season, they have 2 choices, either they are going to get a bad manager again and they will end up losing the UCL title again, or they will get a world class manager and they will end up with a UCL title most probably, because Mbappe is good enough to make that happen.

Zidane, Pep, Ancelotti, and a few others are as good as it gets and those managers could make it happen. Who the hell is Galtier? Never even heard of him ever in my entire life before he was hired by PSG, think of how little that guys reputation is, I feel like they wasted a season on him.

Psg team seems very frustrated after the disqualification from the champions league, the team looks without spirit and the players are confused in the pitch, i believe this team need a New coach for the next season because their problem is surely not in the players quality but in coaching and team spirit
PSG was not disqualified from the Champions League this season, but PSG was only defeated by a formidable opponent and that doesn't have to fully blame the coach even though the current coach's abuse feels unsatisfactory, but PSG players don't have to be frustrated about that because PSG can still get the Ligue1 trophy this season as usual and PSG can try their luck again in the Champions League next season.

Since PSG has been eliminated from the Champions League, their only goal now is to win the Ligue 1 title. And make their team more organized. The overall condition of the PSG team is very poor. The team is not able to perform well. The bond between the team players is not good. The coach should try to strengthen the bond between the team players. PSG management will look for a new coach next season if coach Galtier fails to stabilize the team. PSG need a more experienced coach if they want to win the Champions League.

PSG are very often losing in the latter stages of the Champions League, despite their strong squad and predictions that they could become champions... But I think the coaching is not bad, because in Ligue 1 they are in first place in the standings and have a gap of 7 points from Marseille, their closest rival...

when rennes beat PSG, there were millions of people who bet on them and everyone must have felt annoyed at the senseless defeat, so it seems that many people will be careful when betting on PSG

but PSG's chances of becoming the Ligue 1 champion this season are very large even though (the difference) the distance between PSG and Marseille is only 7 points

In a match winning or losing is commonplace, no matter how strong one of the teams that will compete is. The result, will be determined once the battle has started.

Even so, at least to minimize mistakes in betting. at least, someone needs all the available information including the latest information. let's review, in the PSG vs Rennes match, Galtier did not play his main full starter. especially, for the defense line. the pattern that Galtier applied with the 3-5-2 formation. that is, leaving only three players in the defense sector. unfortunately, only Danilo is the mainstay of the defensive line, the rest, are players who lack experience. in particular, Bitshiabu who is still only 17 years old. As for Juan Bernat, this player can't really be relied on if played as a DL.

And if you are observant, you will not speculate to bet on PSG. although, on paper, Rennes is not a difficult opponent for them. but again, we have to refer from all aspects. whether it's from H2H, or the available odds. if it's not ideal, it's better to look for another option. speaking of Marseille, 7 points behind PSG will not be easy for them to stick tightly to the top of the standings. So, I'm still optimistic about what I said, that the Lique 1 trophy is likely to still be owned by PSG.

Reims' home record has been one of the best so far and looks like it should be broken after losing to Marseille. Actually, Reims played quite well and took the lead first, but the advantage did not last long because Marseille immediately looked for gaps in the Reims defense so that the opportunities that were created were successfully converted into a return advantage for Marseille. I thought in the second half Reims could have leveled the score, but apparently it didn't go well and they had to put up with a defeat at home to Marseille. Marseille is 7 points away from PSG and as we know PSG has recently started having trouble getting consistent wins, this could be a good opportunity for Marseille to continue to cut the distance from PSG.
yes, Reims still dominated the game, but Marseille did better with the chances they got. a fairly balanced match for the two, even though it had to end with a Marseille win.
I was expecting the second half to see a few more goals, but it turned out that both teams played well enough and didn't allow any mistakes. Sanchez became a savior for Marseille. 2 goals that saved Marseille from defeat and also reduced the point gap with PSG. although it will be quite difficult to catch up with him.
Even if we look at the results of the previous Marseille match they were held to a draw by the weak Strasbourg team. But that match also left losses such as losing their key defender Leonardo Balerdi. But luckily in the match against Reims they were able to win and didn't concede more than 1 goal. Then a brace from Alexis Sanchez managed to save Marseille from defeat.

I am not sure how their boss will have better sport development strategies for PSG in coming years. If they can change themselves by lesson from 10 failed years in Champions League, they will win it in future but I am very doubtful that it will happen soon.
I didn't think, PSG lost even 0-2 at home. Indeed, Rennes are not a bad team, they have good quality. PSG itself may not be able to forget the defeat to Munich. PSG had many chances but they failed to score. Even Messi didn't move, he wasn't involved in the process of creating chances. I don't know how their future achievements will be. But business-wise I think PSG have made a profit.
Rennes may have a strong squad, but is he as strong as Psg?  There is no team in France with a squad as strong as PSG.  Despite this, they still could not declare the title, they were eliminated by Bayern Munich at UCL, and now they lost to Rennes at home.  If there is a problem, it must be identified.  Some things are not right in psg.  Psg is still the biggest candidate for the championship in League 1, but they were below the expected performance.

PSG management spent a lot of money to sign star players. But they could not pick the right players for their team. There is a lack of coordination among the team players. Bonding between players is not good. There were also internal conflicts within the party. Due to these reasons PSG's squad despite having many star players, their performances was completely erratic. The PSG management may have thought that changing the coach would stabilize PSG's performance. But Galtier could not stabilize the team. Rather, the bonding between the team's players has weakened. It is impossible to win a platform title like Champions League without an experienced coach.

They thought that can buy the most expensive players and win all the tournaments, but it doesn't work that way, big titles are won by the team and not by individuals. Moreover, due to the fact that there are many stars in the team, everyone considers himself the center of this team, and to some extent this selfishness prevents the team from achieving its goals. Galtier is an incomprehensible step for me, I don’t see any of his merits or achievements that could help PSG.

It's good, but the difference in strength between the two teams is obvious. You are a team like PSG and you shouldn't lose at home with this squad. If you lose even points at home in games like this, the fans get bored and blame you. You can't react to this blame because the fans are right. That's why it's natural for PSG to blame this failure on the team or on Galtier, the manager. A lot of money was spent on this team. An all-star squad has been built, but it's nothing. That's why the fans are angry and they want more. I would think the same thing, you have brought legendary players everywhere, you have money, you have the means, but there is no success. In the Champions League I expected them to reach the final but it didn't happen.
They can't capitalize on their advantage on everything, which is a bad thing in my opinion. Maybe this defeat doesn't affect them because they are still at the top of the standings with a pretty big point advantage. Actually I'm not too interested in fighting for the title in Ligue 1 but I would rather see how they are in the Champions League, but again and again they also fail for the umpteenth time in the Champions League. The Champions League is still too difficult for them to beat until now, they are still at a level that has not been able to achieve that success.
Failure in Champions League again and again is surely big problem for them now, but they are not working to fix this all with having too many big stars are also a problem in itself which needs to settle if they want to have something better in this event management spending huge funds which are surely good, but spending without any solid strategy is never been ideal now we have rumored many big stars are ready to leave this club after end of this season which is also good for them because with these things could be good for them, and they will be able to work on their talent hunt problem which is better than having ready-made stars which have personal ego's, and mostly they never love to work with other players on positive way which is hurting them.

In last few years, they spend too much if they use mind and spend this amount on their academies and have better players than surely things could be improved, and they are able to secure better results in the Champions League.

Sometimes it's not about just spending money for hiring expensive players for the team, even if you have the most expensive players you should know how to manage these players and which expensive player you should buy, just pending money and hiring the most expensive player in the world won't help any team in a great match they have, I think they have to consider using another coach and then the need to hire the players they really need not any player with expensive price.

Its seem this PSG side really finds it difficult to play against any of the big or decorated teams in the French league 1, I can recall only this year they have lost or drew their fixtures with almost all the teams in the top 6 in the French league 1. As for the champoins league PSG has all the star to even win that title but they find it difficult to even reach the finals of the competition and the only time they succeeded in reaching the finals same old nemesis of theirs the Bavarian giants Bayern Munich denied them that right to be called champions. I just hope they will bounce back after this lost against Rennes.

When Qatari put their weight on PSG, they wanted to make it the best, get profits from it and definitely get some European titles to stay in their history and the history of the team.
So far the first two objectives were achieved but the third one was very hard. PSG always fail to lift the trophy even though the top players they had in the past and even now.
I don't know if next season will be any better since I doubt Messi will stay and questions are raising about Mbappe.
They can't keep winning game after game , there must be a time where they get the upset result ... the expectation on them would always be high ... no doubt about that . No wonder when they get a bad result everyone instantly talking about that while actually it's just normal.

They are losing 4 times only throughout the season ... that's more than just a good one but it's psg , people expect more.

PSG actually lost 0:2 at home there's no two ways about it.No doubt Rennes are a good team but their form this season can not be compared to a PSG team that are filled with big names and they shouldn't have any excuse other than to win matches for the team but the reverse has become the case since they lost to Bayern Munich in the Champions League they ought to be more serious in the League matches so they won't end the season trophy less. Well I can't tell if the PSG team has made any good business deal this season but them winning the Champions League would have been their biggest business deal of the year.

I think beating PSG 2-0 is a big achievement for a team like Rennes. PSG has two of the best players in the world Messi and Mbappe in the attack. Rennes' defenders were able to successfully block these two players. Rennes' defense was very solid in this match. And their match strategy was also excellent. However, this match made it clear that PSG has a lot of weaknesses within their squad. And coach Galtier completely failed to stabilize the team.
It is true that we are talking about a big achievement, but at the same time PSG didn't look like they were really into the game. They know they will win the title, they are aware that they lost in the UCL as well, which basically is a season over for them once again.

What are they going to play for after this moment? What would be the reason to go out and play as well as you can and give your 100% to every game? There is no need for that at all, there is absolutely no way that they are losing the league, the difference is 7 points and they won't give that, and UCL is done for them, so we will see them end up with a title situation where they won't have to play well enough to care.
