I agree with the people who think Galtier has a significant probability of getting sacked in the summer. Because his performance in the Champions League wasn't convincing at all. PSG had great players in the lineup but still couldn't become very effective against Bayern Munich. Their not being able to beat Benfica in both matches in the group stage must also be a sign for this actually. I still expected them to play better in the rematch against Bayern Munich because they had Mbappe back in the starting lineup.

But they were eliminated quite comfortably by their opponent. Galtier will continue to be criticized even if they win the Ligue 1 title. They have already been dominating the Ligue 1 for years but they don't have any Champions League title. That is the point to make difference for PSG.
It's quite hard for a coach which has pressure from an ambitious club like PSG. whoever a coach, this seems like mission impossible to bring a club to be on top Europa champions league because PSG doesn't have the mental for that. maybe if move all Madrid player and coach to PSG club, that possible they will get the same result because PSG, even a richest club who have unlimited financial for that but they can't get instant for mentally champions. PSG must be patient and Only time can answer that, and they must cultivate it early.

Without question, the burden of coaching PSG is immense, but I firmly believe that given the proper mindset and a healthy dose of patience, they will ultimately rise to the top. PSG is certainly on an upward trajectory, boasting a roster of phenomenal players with the ability to propel them to victory.
To enhance their prospects of capturing the Champions League crown, it is imperative they develop a winning mentality – a quality they presently lack. Iconic clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona have this attitude embedded within their culture, enabling their consistent success. Should PSG emulate this approach, they will undoubtedly become an unstoppable force.

The thing about Monaco is they didn't start the season well but recently they show a good performance and now they have the chance to be on top of the table. I think they have the chance to be the third team if they beat Strasbourg next week. However, the game against Reims was a complete disappointment for them as they lost three points, otherwise, they could even have had the opportunity to make it into the top two next week if they had won.
Few weeks back there was fair chance for Monaco to have challenging title race competition with PSG, but sadly they were not able to take advantage of this all now they are at fourth with most chances until end of this season if they keep better results against ended with third spot like they have in last year their recent two home defeats having big problems for them but their performance and quality is still at his best Lens is going to visit Rennes which is going to be tough match for the both teams specially after Rennes beats PSG in away things could be not easy for the Lens which will give good benefit to the Monaco but still for the better results they need to be improved in coming matches.
I don't think PSG can catch up this season as they did in previous seasons. But the situation with the other top 5 clubs is really interesting. Marseille, Lens, Monaco, Rennes and even Lille will be fighting hard to get into the European championships next season. If Monaco continue to play poorly, Lille can get in their place because they play just as well.

@Kro55 the head coach of PSG will definitely be sacked once the season ends, because not only did PSG exit the champions league but on and off the pitch also it’s clear to see that he’s failed to unite the player’s hence his sacking is inevitable. Lastly for the next season I feel that PSG should hire a more experienced coach, and trim down their star player’s squad and retain only those that actually want to play for PSG and not be there for just collecting large sum of money.
I agree if he fails to unite the cast so there is no chemistry to be seen from them. I wish if they have good chemistry I think they will play more than what they are showing now. Another problem is that they only focus on their star players in the hope that having them all can bring them the title they have always wanted. But in reality, just stacking star players alone can't make them better when they don't have someone who can manage them very well.
I do not blame PSG coach for the chaos among their star players. Infact it is not the coach fault that they super stars are not in good terms. There is no coach that will control those three big fishes successfully. Each of those players are brands.
I will rather blame the management of psg who offers individual players outrageous contracts with not only monetary value but also the ability to make sensitive decisions. There lies the genesis of the whole misunderstanding.

@rby you made a very good point here and I agree with you. PSG coach is not to be blamed because from all indications, he is managing a team where few individuals are partially bigger than him in terms of fame and individual recognition. You don't expect the coach of PSG to give instructions to someone who he has no control over and as you clearly said, Messi, Neymar and Mbappe are brands commanding them to work with you will not be possible unless you have the backing of the club and now some of these players are part of the board of directors in the team how then can the coach be incharge when he has no power over them.

That's right, in terms of a winning mentality PSG don't have that kind of thing in their squad yet and I think it will take a few more years if they are to achieve that. The problem of pressure from the club can certainly have a significant impact on coaches and players, maybe this is what hasn't been able to make PSG able to compete with other top European clubs.

Maybe it can't be measured just by moving Real Madrid players and coaches to PSG but Real Madrid can be a good example for other big clubs, but it still takes time for these achievements to be achieved and it's not easy to be the team with the most UCL titles, they went through difficult times and almost slipped out of the competition but they have a winning mentality that is very rarely owned by other teams in Europe. Back again, for PSG I think they really have to secure the Ligue 1 title this season, considering that the competition with Marseille has not completely ended and is only 7 points away.

PSG changed their coach this season. But the new coach Galtier could not improve the team. Rather, the team's performance has further deteriorated. Despite having a lot of star players on the team, PSG's performance has been disappointing. PSG's match strategy is not good. Galtier also experimented with changing PSG's formation in various important matches. As a result, PSG lost points in several matches. We may not see Galtier as PSG coach next season. As PSG wants to win the Champions League, they need a more experienced coach.
As soon as Galtier came to the team, the results of PSG were much better, but it was not his merit, I'm sure we saw the results of Pochattino's work. But gradually the results worsened, I agree, there were more conflicts in the team, in general, I would say that Galte could not control good discipline in the team, and for PSG this is very important. All he can achieve this season is to win Ligue 1, but for PSG this result can be considered bad.

I don't think Galtier has improved the PSG team. Galtier has many weaknesses. He was the coach of the team for a long time. But he still could not find a suitable formation for the team. We see him change formation in almost every match. Also, PSG's match strategy is very weak. This is the reason why the team cannot win even against a relatively weak team. The biggest mistake PSG management made this season was hiring Galtier as a coach. Galtier was an inexperienced coach on the Champions League platform. Hopefully next season PSG will try to hire a more experienced coach.

I agree with you kro55. Saying that Galtier improved the team is a joke. The last time they played Bayern in the Champions League, there was a real fight. This time PSG looked like they were dead in the water. Nothing was happening on their part.

And even if they could still gather more points in Ligue 1 this year than last year, it still isn't a convincing performance by them. The have also been kicked out of the Coup de France last season in the round of 16 against Nice in a home game.

PSG is simply not the team they should be given how many stars they have on their team.

With the best players PSG has, the team's performance should have been much better. I think one of the reasons for this is the coach of the team, because he could not make any great tactical changes with the players of the team. If a talented coach is added to the team then PSG team will definitely become one of the best team.

But of course, with the authority that the trainer has, it should also be able to make them at least appreciate it a little more, even though such a thing is handled by an unreasonable contract from management.
The conditions are really very difficult when what PSG does really doesn't make sense in giving contracts to their players.
So indeed the role of the coach will also be a little difficult when indeed the players in this case have higher authority which makes of course an ordinary coach like Galtier who doesn't have anything to be proud of for his current career will not be able to contain the egos of the players.

The manager of a team is first person that's always blamed when the team is underperforming and that is why Paris Saint Germain Coach should be blamed. PSG has been spending a huge sum of money over the years not to be winning the French Ligue 1 as the best they can but to win the Champions League which they have never won as a club.
The manager of PSG should know how to make his star players unite and play as a team than to showboat as individual players in the pitch and if he's not able to do that then he should be released of his duties as to pave way for the arrival of a new manager that can perfectly do the job

So, I personally think that this is not an easy match for Monaco, because maybe Strasbourg can hold Monaco to a draw. But yes, if Monaco really can play even better to improve their home results, then Monaco must win this match.
The current conditions are still favorable for Monaco actually, but on the other hand things like this also cannot become possible, it's just that they are in much better conditions than Strasbourg and playing at home can be more strength for them.
Their first meeting was quite fierce even though Monaco managed to win narrowly and from this it is clear that their chances of winning again are also getting bigger even though the conditions are still in a narrow advantage as before.

This is the point. In terms of performance in the last few seasons, Marseille has really done very well and that deserves to be appreciated. But overall for Ligue 1 it is clear that this will be very difficult, because apart from anything PSG has more qualified resources to conquer Ligue 1 even though it is only one competition and not for another.
Psg are surely going to win the Ligue 1 because teams like Marseille, Lens and Monacco are inconsistent, especially at the time there is an opportunity to go above psg. Lens started the season very well and i thought they were going to challenge psg for the title, but then they started to lose points and now they are 9 points behind psg. Marseille are 7 points behind, and even though they are not too far behind and psg have not been too consistent, i don't think Marseille can win the title. Psg will only lose the Ligue 1 trophy when the other top teams in France become consistent.

But for any reason, if Marseille gets itself closer to the first place on the table and replaces it with PSG, PSG can fail a lot more than failed so far. As far as I know, the most important player in Marseille is  Alexis Sánchez he is an old player and was a teammate with Messi in Barcelona and now if Marseille gets better results and takes the title at the end of this season PSG with the most valuable forwards will fail even Messi, Mbappe and Neymar.
it won't make much of an impact I don't think. PSG's current condition is to secure Ligue 1 quickly because they have nothing more to be proud of at the end of the season because the Ligue 1 trophy is the only thing left.
Marseille is indeed very good and their performance is actually the same as before which is very good, but that will not be enough if you want Ligue 1 competition because Marseille can only follow PSG in runner-up position.
Olympic Marseille's performance this season has really been great and must be complimented for being an outstanding team to challenge Paris Saint Germain for the French league title. But I don't see them aa  good enough to challenge PSG for the title despite their current form.

Paris Saint Germain are surely gonna win the league at the end of the season. Their major disappointment this season is their failure to win the Champions League and that would want to work on that by next season probably with a better manager than their current manager
Conditions like this will remain the same last season, today, maybe even for next season because PSG's condition is far superior, it is a fact that is difficult to penetrate.

Maybe coaches are a problem for Paris Saint-Germain right now, I want to see how if they had a better coach would they be able to become a very scary team especially in the Champions League. Why do I say in the Champions league, because in Ligue 1 they are already superior even in these circumstances. I can't say they are good in Ligue 1 because the opponents here are unbalanced.
Even we can see that they do not have a proper manager for a team that size and the team owner can't? Right now Tuchel is wide open, they should get him without a doubt, that's a guy who won the champions league as well so I would guess that it would make sense for him to be hired, this galtier dude never looked like he would be good even on the day he was hired let alone after all this time. Now? Now it is just obvious that he should be fired without hesitation.

Watch how the season ends and I guarantee you that if they do not hire a better manager and fire this one, they are not going to win the UCL next season with this galtier dude, not going to happen, I guarantee it.

Their next game is a home one against Strasbourg. Technically Monaco are the favourite side but still they need to watch out for offensive threats of their competitor. Because Strasbourg started to get a little better results lately and they are climbing slowly. Monaco should be winning this game to maintain a winning streak.

There is no doubt that AS Monaco will win their match against Strasbourg, they have some positive points such as playing at home, their condition as a stronger team, and also their mission to be in the top 2 in order to play in the UCL for next season. Even so, they shouldn't underestimate Strasbourg, because basically they don't have a good enough record in terms of dominance in the history of their meetings.
On paper Monaco is the favorite, of course many people will bet on this match for Monaco, but on the other hand Strasbourg last week won against Auxerre 2 goals without reply and that could have increased their confidence to be able to get points in the match later, for example holding Monaco to a draw because in their last 5 meetings Monaco and Strasbourg both won 2x and drew 1x in the meeting this weekend I think the score will be a draw or Monaco won narrowly

From the odds currently available it is clear that Monaco are indeed the team that are the favorites to win but unfortunately, so far this season Monaco has been better off playing away. Also, in their first meeting of the season Strasbourg lost 1-2 by Monaco, on which occasion Monaco played away.

So, I personally think that this is not an easy match for Monaco, because maybe Strasbourg can hold Monaco to a draw. But yes, if Monaco really can play even better to improve their home results, then Monaco must win this match.
