Compared to what PSG has shown in the last season, PSG is doing quite well this season. In my opinion, they are capable of going at least to the finals of the Champions League this year. However, I think it is highly unlikely that they will be able to win the Champions League at the end of the season.

I suddenly start thinking that PSG needs to win the Champions League as soon as I look at the team they have right now, they have gained most of the world-class players on their squad. When I see the team they have, I start thinking they must win it. My belief is that PSG's actual goal should be to win the Champions League. Otherwise, even the players in the squad would have no reason to stay at PSG.

I did a little check and since 1993, when Anger's plays at home they have won fewer game's than Marseille. The home side has seen themselves drawing six times loosing three times and just having a single win. I doubt if they ( Anger's can successfully win against Marseille ) All I see here is a win or draw for Marseille, they have a chance to go top of the table if they seal all three points as they currently have 20 points while PSG has 22 Points!

Former Manchester United and Arsenal player has found a new home already scoring four goals prior to this fixture, he would make that five if he eventually does. Angers should be trying to impress them fans so I expect a both team scoring game.

looking at the last results of these two teams we can see that Angers has improved a lot in the last 2 games, they managed to have two consecutive victories and without a doubt they come to this game confident because Marseille in their last game had a draw and was not a tie against a very strong team, knowing that they only managed to score 1 goal, I would say that in this game they can draw or lose, but getting a win won't be easy, I thought about betting on under 3.5 goals, but the odd is @1.43 what for me it's still a very low odd that doesn't pay off, maybe I'll bet on Marseille's victory, it will be a risky bet, but as the odds are @1.86 it can pay off in case they win

After this break now we are heading again for this usual business with in ninth round we have few very entertaining matches which are going to be had good changes in league table for the future with PSG is going to host Nice which is having the worst start of this season and now down in league table and Angers are going to host Marseille which is having good season and staying at second spot which is also usual for them but after this we have few very entertaining matches which are surely going to good for fans as well Lorient which is currently at third spot going to host Lille and Lens is going to host Lyon both teams are doing amazing performance in this season.

Interestingly, many are surprised with their current spot for staying at this level they need to keep momentum and give good performance against these teams which is surely going to be good for them because with these challenging matches they can feel good confidence and having better chance for ending at the higher rank.

In Ligue 1, PSG is in a league apart itself. They really do not have any close competitors. In my opinion, there is not even one team which can actually put up a good fight with PSG as far as I am concerned. They are not going to face any real competition until there is some really rich person who decides to buy the ownership of another club and starts bringing in world-class players to the club. However, I do not think that is going to happen. A big competition at the beginning is not going to be something anyone is going to want to face. Monaco and Lille are only able to cause a little trouble for PSG but never actually trouble them enough to dethrone them from their position as champions.

Lorient has experienced an extraordinary increase in performance, Lorient in addition to being in 3rd position, Lorient also won 4 consecutive wins.

I'd lie if your analysis aren't correct, PSG lacked some level of creativity in the middle, those player's they have are only for league game's, you'll see Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr dropping deep for passes to create chance for goal.
The midfielder's should have done some job there rather they couldn't face the likes of Modric, Kross, Casemiro, Valverde and lastly Camavinga to battle the middle.

Those players are good during league 1 games but not during Champions League football/ game's. A lot of people are tipping them for the champions league but I do not think they are already.

Many strikers have weaknesses to help the defense but they can win a lot of competitions. @hd49728 as I said earlier I felt that PSG player’s tend to choke during important champions league matches, and unless the new coach can find an answer to this psychological problem I doubt that he can help them lift this trophy. Furthermore if there’s one thing I have learnt about champions league is that league stats don’t matter and when the favourites play with over confidence they often end up losing, hence PSG will have to perform exceptionally well to reach the finals first and then dream about lifting the trophy.

Yes, PSG last season still had some problems and one of them was about Messi and also about their previous coach, but this season they have gotten better. With a performance like this where they have a coach who can get their players back to their best, and even the current coach can reshape the chemistry of previously broken players, then of course their chances of advancing further in the Champions League are very possible. I'm personally optimistic that PSG this season will reach the Champions League final, because this season is a season where PSG have a better form and their chances are very good this season.

Actually last season was not much different from previous seasons, they are still too strong in Ligue 1 and continue to try to realize their dream on the Champions League stage.
